Hello, and welcome from me as well! I am also fairly new, having joined earlier this month I believe? Anyhoo, thank you also for responding to three of my plot threads! Yay! I am thinking about my responses for them, and I will post them soon.
As for Adelaide and her unfortunate encounter with the dragon, yeah I'd say she'd definitely could use the help. Being as she's injured, magic reserve is empty, and the dragon is just getting started, yup I'd say she's definitely gotten herself into a pickle. I know for a fact she won't win this fight by herself. She's holding on, but barely. I had been thinking about how she could possibly escape but it doesn't seem too likely at this point without some help. Are you planning on introducing your healer mage Abby to the story? I think she'd be the most helpful, but that's up to you. Ravyna could also work, but I think based on reading her profile, she'd be just as likely to side with the dragon against her as well as deciding to help Adelaide in her dire predicament. That's what I am able to infer on the description anyhow.
And for my other character Evadne, just a note. She won't take too kindly to your character as she hates anything evil and corrupted, and tries her best to avoid such types. Her profile is in the Open Roleplay category if you haven't already read it that is.
The other thread in Northoak I am thinking about my response there too.
I have to say I like the option and convenience of being able to think the actions/thoughts and feelings/reactions of characters beforehand, instead of let's say tabletop D&D where you don't get that luxury really. You have to think fast on the spot and I don't think that approach works as well for me. I try, but sometimes my performance there seems to fall flat. :(
Rambling here, but I hope you don't mind. And again, welcome to the site!
