Any recommendations on where i should start? (I have checked out the Before You Play section)

Hi there and welcome to SotE! The best place to start would be to create and character, then check out the plotting board. I hope this helps!

The Never King- a king erased from history because of his dabblings in dark magic (among other things...) suddenly because a present day problem when an unlikely group of adventurers 'awakens' him from the grave. You can read more about the event on the plotting page here and information page here!

I ran the Connlaothian civil war. For more info, check out it's page here. The war has now turned into a 'Cold War' with it's plotting page found here. It's no longer a huge site wide event but the scars are there.

What Spicyspice said is right, and you could also PM a player about RPing if there's no threads in the Plotting Center you're interested in, or you don't want to create your own ad there.

Everyone is super friendly, so never hesitate to ask questions. As has been said, plotting board is always a good place to check out.

We have a cbox at the bottom of the forums page so you can chat with us all.

Also, love your bard! Darkest Dungeon is fun, and I love the art style they use.

He should meet my bard sometime. They can sing a duet. :D
