[Anonymous]

This is my personal favorite. I was thinking about my beloved cat when I wrote it. Anyone who knows a cat, lives with a cat, or is owned by a cat will understand.


Feline Instinct

Claws oustretched.
Usurped the authority.
Randomly swiped at shadows.
Ignored commands.
Obeyed only the whiskers.
Shared nothing.
Investigated everything.
Tasted the surface.
Yarn, after a long day.

You're very right. This reminds me exactly of my cats, every last one of them.  And I was always fond of that type of peom. Good job of catching the essence of cats in one word. Well.. in a sense, at least. ~_^

That reminds me of my new shirt. It says, "Curiousity killed the cat, but for a while I was the suspect." Which is funny, because I got four cats ^.^
