Two questions from the bothersome Goblin ^.^

1) Is there a way to make folders for PM's like on the old site?

2) Is there a way to up the PM intake for people? I noticed that I cannot send PM's to almost anyone right now because their inboxes are full from what seems to be all of our previous folders all meshing into one massive inbox.

Not the end of the world if the answers are no, I was just curious ^.^

All good questions! o__o

As soon as I get home, I'll check on that! I totally didn't even realize the PM issue. D8

No worries! I only noticed because yours as Admin were overriding my full inbox and no one else's were until I cleared some stuff I have been meaning to out. Take your time! ^.^

Okay! So on the other forum, there was a 400 PM message limit, so I increased this one to 500. :3 So that should free up space!

I can't find an option for folders, but I do see a way to sort mail. If you go into your PM settings, you can set "rules" for how you want your mail sorted, and also apply labels to mail. I haven't played with it much yet, but it looks like it'd be a good way to organize PMs that may function similarly to the folders. :3

Oh! And if you go into your PM settings, you can choose to display your PMs as conversations. :3 So that'll set your inbox up in a fashion similar to the old forum's PM system, where your PMs read like a thread (with your replies included) instead of them being thrown into this giant pile of chaos! xD

Whenever a person posts an apostrophe a slash appears before it, FYI

Have you noticed this happening with new posts?

We've seen that the apostrophes in old posts interjected a slash when we converted the forums, but I haven't seen it appear in my new posts since then.

I don't think it's happening with the new posts, just the old ones.

Hiya ^.^

Back with another question. I seem to be having an issue adding tags to certain threads of mine. Almost of all of them stick but there are a few when I go to add a tag complain that there is an error and that I am not permitted to add tags to the topic.

Is this just me?

Did you start the thread? Because I've noticed that I can only add tags to threads I've started. Also I've notice that tags you add from the Modify Message page don't work, only those that you add using the Add Tag link.

I can add them whether I started the thread or not. I traditionally add them when I reply to a post in the tags line at the top because sometimes it didn't work for me when I hit the add tags button. However, with these few threads I keep getting the error from the button and nothing gets added when I do it from the tags line.

Then I have the exact opposite of your problem. The one at the top when I reply never works for me, only the Add Tags link. Also I get the same message in a few of my threads as well.

After fiddling with the tags, Nix and I verified a few things.

One, that neither of us could use the Modify feature to add tags.  We could ONLY add tags using the Add Tag link at the bottom of a topic.
And two, that Nix, as a registered user, could only add tags to topics that she started. << That at least is intentional.

So!  Goblin, could you link me to the threads where you're getting the error message?
And Xphy could you do the same?

I don't know about goblin, but those pretty much sum up what I've experienced so far. Thanks.

Sorry this took a while. I had to hunt them all down. Pretty sure this isn't all of them. It seems to be all the same character too....weird

Also on a sidenote could the open tag be removed from this thread?

It is between Casey and I. Apparently when the site formats were switched the subtitles or whatever you call them got removed. Thanks!

Sorry to be a pain. >.<

Just today when I've logged on it seems I can't view any recent posts accept for the stickied ones. I see all the old ones, like from last year. I can't even see the posts I've made without seeing it in the recent posts section, etc. O.x

I think I know the reason! Because this happened to me. xD

If you go into a forum, at the bottom there should be a dropdown menu that says Reply/Date Filter. Click that, then chose "none", and that should fix the issue! :3

When I was exploring the site (every stel is a new one here for me since I just arrived)
I noticed that in the "Before you Play section, the -wanted character- is not working, neither does the -roleplay guide- button

In the Newbie guide, -Playing in a medieval setting- is not working for me either.

Thats it for now but if I find something else I will post it here :)

Is there any specific reason for Northern Le'raana to be the only sub forum that cannot be mimized by either clicking on the name or with the - button next to "unread posts"?

Keen observation Valyras! I personally have NO idea why but we can get @Rhi-Rhi on that soon. (Rhi I SWEAR the goblins didn't touch it!!!!) ^_^ Thanks for the notice!
