I like how her hair curls around the Picture and her full lips. Her chin seems to be a Little misplaced, but the Picture as a whole really gives me the image of a lady, Confident in her sexuality and abilities.

and yeah I agree with the Ellarrah comment- it was probably due to the fact I had to make sure her boobs looked boob like (haha- why not blame it on her boobs!? They've already created more than a pickle! clearly it's not the artists fault her chin wasn't her best asset! lol)

I love this, especially the hair. But there is something a little off with her chin and mouth. Looks a little like she had some bad plastic surgery. Oh and nice job on the eyes! They really pop!

I think the features are meant to be exaggerated cartoon style opposed to realism. x3 It would explain why the eyes are huge , the nose is super long, the lips are a bit oversized and there is almost no chin.
Actually, this is gonna sound weird but...
I like her eyebrows. o.O and the way (not the size) her eyes are drawn. More specifically, I like the shape. Semi-realism, yeah? Well, actually when I think about it I like how the features are drawn but the squashed look makes me wanna pull on her face so she doesn't end up eating her nose like she did her chin. D:
Already said in DA that I liked the shading. Nice touch with the rosy cheeks. Hrm...
Although she kinda looks older than 19 or however old she's meant to be. xD

I love the depth you have going for her face. You really have a skill with that. And the nose is niiiiice. As well as the noses on all your other drawings. They can be tricky!

HOW DO YOU DO SO MUCH ART IN SO LITTLE TIME. And it all looks amazing!
Practice and study is the simplest answer, Zozee. Study your subjects and draw them lots. I improved on certain things through repetition. I got to a point where I'd drawn something (example: a hand) so many times that I could just draw it without looking at anything.
Of course, I let myself go and ....am quite rusty these days but yeah...if you just keep working on it, you'll improve in skill and speed. These things can take months, years...but it's worth it in the long run (imo) .
Anyway, I've already commented on your art on DA, Spice. Too lazy to comment about that here. I've written enough here as it is. HAHA! *points*
Haha yeah I know what you mean Paradox. I used to be able to draw eyes and dragonflies really fast... because I actually looked up how to draw them. I can still do eyes but I forgot what dragonflies even look like... :-\ But I'm trying to draw more nowadays so I can get better. ;D
Practice just makes perfect. I pride myself in being a quick artist, but I was SUPER rusty since I hadn't drawn in a while. Since I'm unemployed right now, I've sort of (finally) taken up the challenge to attempt to better my skill, and I know I've got a long way to go. It also doesn't help I went to art school for this stuff (though Gods, I'd NEVER promote art as a career) except maybe like, graphic design or web (so debating going back to school for either of them)
but yeah XD just keep drawing.

I've just been reading through this thread, and I've got to say, you are insanely good at expressions. Your anatomy and shading and positioning and all that are great too, but the expressions on your characters are absolutely amazing, all of them.
The one on Urich's face in this picture (http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2013/190/5/8/you_have_5_seconds_by_visualspice-d6cpvec.jpg) is by far my favourite one; just looking at it makes me snort with laughter every time I see it. You're hell of an artist.

I won't lie. I was sad about no pinecone, but this looks pretty fantastic. I like it. The hair is fairly spot on. (unless we're talking about his wildman hair which...lol. I wish I could draw it because it amuses!)

I can't imagine the patience you must have to draw all those intricate costumes and ornaments - very awesome attention to detail there.Your full colored bust of the shah is especially beautiful, that's a great design and color scheme :)

so the ones that actually turn out semi-finished looking are almost done on a whim (and if I'm having a good drawing day XD ) So those might take a few hours, since I actually have to put effort into them- but most of the other sketches only take a few minutes (hence the blobs of colors most get when applied X3 )

Aww thank you for the compliment :) I'm kind of rusty right now (haven't done much in almost 2 years art-wise @_@ ) so I'm glad that my stuff isn't as BLARGH as I was afraid it might be with such a long hiatus.
I hear you on practicing with line art though. I actually hate doing line art X) I am more a scribble artist but I'm trying to work out a good line technique. And for being mostly quick sketches I think your stuff turns out wonderful. I'm REALLY bad at color so I'm slightly jealous you can whip up some "blobs" of color and have it turn out so nice XD

I can't believe I haven't posted on this art thread yet--niiiiiiice job on all your artwork Spice! I have to say your work is so incredibly awesome and I am not trying to be a bootlicker or anything, really! I just realllly like your art!
With that said, I have a favor to ask. Well, a small favor really. Plus I am wondering when you're going to host another art exchange. My favor/request is in exchange for a drawing I did of your character Layana (your Yoreiqi character I meant to post for the last art exchange but didn't get done in time cuz I got sick) is can you draw a pic for me of Dilwen, my storm mage healer? I'll post a proper link to her profile in just a bit. I have to post the sketch/drawing I did of your character on Photobucket first so I can show it here so you can see. But will post that in my own art thread so as not to hijack your thread. The pic I drew is a color face sketch as I was too lazy to actually do the entire body, but I hope that's alright.
I also plan on making a sketch of 'The Gambler' hiding in a haystack as he did in the thread 'Hide In The Shadows or Bask In Uncertainty'. That scene just begs to be drawn, LOL. But I'll get to it soonish I hope. Anyway, if you wanted to draw another character of mine in exchange for the haystack scene, you can pick any of my characters to draw to surprise me with.
One last thing: I absolutely LOVE the pic you did of Admar, my color invoker. That robe of his is completely cool and so awesome in its shimmeryness. I have it in my character binder (yes I have a character binder, don't laugh.) The binder is where I keep information and pics of all my characters because I'm OCD like that. @Ivory wanted a character sketched but I've been so busy and had a lot of personal life drama get in the way of me doing much of anything art related as of lately >_<
but yeah, can't wait to get back into drawing again :D
And as far as crafts go, I'll probably offer things like mini custom made character keychains or something. Either way, I'll post something up if/ when I get around to making a sample!
