Title: No Rest For The Wicked [M] [Heretic King]
Post by: Codex on March 20, 2016, 04:16:21 PM
"Argghh! YOU SMUG LITTLE BRAT!" A tall, muscular man yelled angrily as he flipped a rather small table of on its side, snapping one of the legs in the process. His face red with hot anger as his brow swelled. He breathed heavily as he stared at the young pirate who seemed undisturbed by his sudden outburst. She simply sat in the chair across from him with her legs crossed over one another, happily humming a tune to herself as she tossed a pair of yellow dice up and down in her hand .

"I'm sorry, if you're suffering from bad luck, you can always try again." The girl replied with a devilish smile as she revealed her violet eyes. The man stared at her, but his facial expression slightly changed after her words. Something about the calmness in her tone made him slightly uneasy.

"If not, I'm afraid your cargo and coin now belong to me." She said without waiting for the man's response. Opening her lip to show her white grin.

The man's anger quickly returned, and without saying another word he raised his fist in rage, obviously not thinking about what he was doing. He gave a furious yell as he brought his hand down, aimed at the girl's face.

Less then a second later, he was blown back several feet by an unseen force, but everyone in the bar could feel the wind. He crashed heavily into another table, his weight snapping it in half, rendering him unconscious in the process... Everyone stopped and stared at the pirate, and soon the entire bar burst into a fit of laughter as they quickly grasped the situation.

The girl simply stood up, and gave a few swipes to her coat, knocking any dust off. She then held her hand in the air as another pirate came up behind her. "I won the game, cargo an loot be mine now. Y'know the drill. Kill anyone who tries to defend the cargo." She said flatly.

"Aye cap'n Soulscar" he said before editing the bar, two others behind him. At the mention of her name, a few souls looked up surprisingly at the girl... Their faces suggested they had no idea that the pirate known as "Captain Soulscar" was actually a young girl. Most who had heard about her assumed she was male. As it was rare to see the girl off her ship...

Captain Flint. For fuck's sake. With a low snarl, the strapping and rather young looking captain Flint downed his pint of ale. Already having two up for spares, aswell as three mugs of rum. His last money. Where those two pints and three mugs.

He tipped his large hat back and leaned back in his seat as he slammed the empty pint down. Letting out a rather loud belch.

Captain Flint was dressed in a long leather coat. Six flintlock pistols were strapped to his chest. An iron saber hung from his side. He kicked his heavy leather boots up the tablex tipping the chair back on two feet. Sighing slowly as he idly scratched the eyepatch over his left eye. He had a gruff exterior. Looking like he'd take shit from no one. But, that also gave him sort of rogueish handsomeness.

But captain Flint had no ship. It sunk several days ago. So here he was waisting his last savings to booze. Like any proper captain would do in this case.

And then, some random guy is thrown up in the air and had to land on his drinks. Of all the places. Wich made him positivly furious. The man sat up slowly and wanted to curse at Soulscar again. But he didn't even as much as face Flint.

He grabbed the tuft of the man's hair and slammed him back to the table, knocking him out immediatly. "Ruined me drinks, filthy curr." He stood up with a soft sigh.

He grabbed a hold of her collar as she brushed padt, lifting her up and facing her. "Oi. Ya ruined me drinks." He noted. Not even caring she was accompanied by two guards or the fact that she apperently could send someone flying.

As the young captain watched the three crew members leaving, an unknown force had quickly grabbed the collar of her neck. The girl quickly whipped her head around at her assailant as she felt her feet leaving the ground. Brawls were common in pirate infested bars , so this wasn't an unusual sight.

The girl simply stared into his eyes with a grin as he held her in place, before the clicking of a flintlock was heard underneath his chin. Had the man been paying attention to his waist, he would've noticed that the silent girl slip one of his several flintlocks from his holster.

She didn't need to fire though, as two more pirates who witnessed the scene quickly came to her aid. One of them aimed at his head from behind while the other quickly jabbed his elbow into Flint's ribcage to knock the wind out of him and to make him drop their leader.

"Now, that's rude." Mythica sneered. Twirling the pistol in her hand. She observed the young pirate, he was handsome enough to sway Mythica from treating him with a similar wind spell she used on her previous attacker. "Have another." She laughed, flicking a coin to his feet.

"Least I can do to help a fellow captain out. Oh wait, sorry. 'Ex captain.' Can't be a captain without a ship." She smirked, clearly knowing of Flint's troubles.

With a loud cough, the air was forced from his lungs as he released Mythica, dropping to his knees, clutching at his chest as he took several deep gasps.

He sighed bitterly. "Alright Missy.. I would've let the drinks slide.. I even would've let ya stealin' me pistol slide.. The elbow.. Even." He stood up slowly as he picked up the coin. "But ya just said tha wrong thing."

He flicked the coin in his hand, smacking the open palm with the coin in it against the pirate behind him, with the pistol, his face. He pulled the pistol from the staggered pirate's hand, flicking it in his hnd, ramming the butt against the other pirate's head.

Instantly, he pulled a second pistol and aimed both at Mythica.

Mythica simply stood her ground, and watched with a rather amused expression on her face as Flint quickly dealt with the two pirates who came to her aid. She had already managed to predict the outcome of the brawl however, and had already prepared for when Flint turned his attention back to her.

As the man whipped around with the two pistols, she had his, as well as one of her own to match in his face. By now the entire bar had turned to see the scene the two had created as both stood there on equal ground holding pistols at each others heads.

"Glad to know you're smart at least, but now what's the plan?" She said with a confident grin. Of course, had Mythica wanted to, she could have ended the squabble earlier with a quick burst of wind elemental magic to blow her opponent off balance. But it seemed like it wouldn't be needed.

Mythica stared at something behind him and took a step back as the yell of another Pirate was heard. He suddenly smashed a bottle on Flin'ts exposed head from behind...

"I dunno. Thow down that peashooter 'n gimme me gun back." He answered with an almost careless attitude. "'N ya gonna pay fo' me drinks. 'N I get shitface drunk and you just be gettin' back to whatever." He gave her a toothy grin. "Deal?"

Yet the step back and Mythica staring at something told him something was amiss. The yell behind him just affirmed his suspicion, before the bottle was rammed on the back of his head. Shattering with the blow. His arms slumped down as he turned around groggily to his assailant. "That ain't fair at all," he blurted out before he collapsed to the floor.

The girl watched as Flint fell to the ground by the sudden blow the angry pirate had made, holding the broken glass in one hand, while the other was wiping blood from his nose. He'd been one of the two Flint seemed to have smacked effortlessly only moments before.

"Guess that'd be one way to get yer revenge lad." Mythica chuckled before readjusting her rose feathered hat on her white haired head. She leaned down and tapped Flint's head with the end of her flintlock to only confirm her earlier suspicions of him being completely out cold.

"Can we kill him now cap'n?" The pirate asked her in a low, cold tone. Mythica would have usually let her crew do whatever after an event like that, but the pirate did show some talent that peeked her interest.

"No. I feel like he'd be useful to us. After all, he's without a ship. Doubt he 's old enough to be giving up now." She said with a sly smile. Only moments after the doors busted open and the pirate who Mythica had ordered around earlier returned.

"Captain Soulscar. We've loaded the little cargo onto the ship." The girl turned her head. "Oi Kale, we have need of another store boy correct?" She asked, already knowing the answer.

"Err.. Yes ma'am. Our last one was killed during our skirmish at summervale." She looked back down at Flint , then stood up and walked out past him.

"Load him up with the rest of the cargo. We're leaving now. I want the Seraph prepared for departure in 30 minutes..."

He didn't seem to be knocked out. He was snoring heavily. It seemed pretty obvious that he was infact sleeping off the booze, rather than being knocked out.

(OOC: Whoops. Void what I said then about him being knocked out cold xD)

The two men nodded in response as they both picked up two of Flint's limbs, and began carrying him out of the tavern. Few minutes later, they dumped him on one of the hammocks situated in the Seraph's crews quarters.

The day was late, and twilight had already set upon the horizon. The deck of the ship was bright with lanterns as the crew scurried across the ship's long body, preparing to leave port. Soon, the captain walked aboard from the dock, stretching her neck slightly from the strain of being picked up by the collar. Mythica went straight for the captains cabin, wishing to not be disturbed.

Mythica sighed as she flipped her feathered hat off her head, and twirled it onto a hook on the wall of the expansive room. Today had been rather dissapointing by her standards. She'd spent most of it at the tavern, recruiting new crew members, gambling cargo, and looking for rumours on possible cargo shipments. However, she received little luck on all three aspects. The girl only assumed news of the "Summervale Skirmish" had gotten around by now. An event she was foolish enough to instigate... She had lost much of her crew, even though the Seraph came out victorious from the battle. It was a trap set by the Serenian navy. They were waiting for Mythica, and her ship had gotten boarded by two of their boats at the same time... The bloody battle may have been the reason why many sailors were reluctant to sign their services to the Seraph's Requiem. She had to resort to other tactics to gain crew members...

Her thoughts were interrupted however by another member of her crew. "Captain Soulscar. We're ready to depart." She turned from the large window in his direction. "And our newest member?"

"Still in a coma..." He responded. She smirked and walked back out of the cabin onto the deck. "Pull anchor, get the mains down. We sail for Kunata!" The crew roared in agreement as they got to their stations. The large, grey sailed boat set sail out of the cove... It's black flag depicting a skeletal music note waved silently in the early night breeze.

(Well. Yeah. I had no idea how to make a move. So I made that thing to get you a post. Since I can't do much when my character's unconcious. xD)

With a loud and sudden snort, Flint woke up and rubbed his head, groaning slowly. For fuck's sake, he had a headache. Faintly remembering the bottle smashed on the back of his head. It made him feel a slight tingle of relief. It'd be utter garbage if he had a hangover from just three mugs of ale.

He dropped from his hammock, face-first down on the floor and let out another, more annoyed than pained, grunt. Before he stood up straight, limping up the stairs, towards the captain's quarters.

And heavens beware. He was fucking pissed. As he reached the open door, he slammed his boot down against the back of the knee of the crew member reporting in to Mythica, pulling his pistol and pressing it to the back of the man's head. "Still in coma m'ass," he murmured with a grit of his teeth, before looking up at her. "Gimme one fuckin' reason not to litter yer beautiful quarters with this guy's brains." He asked, his other hand grabbing a pistol as he turned sidewards, his back pressed against the doorpost, holding out a pistol to the deck and one against the back of the pirate's head.

That way, he wouldn't get any bottles smashed on his head any time soon. "And don' you fuckin' come tellin' me I'm surrounded. I couldn't give a rat's ass about that."

The girl stopped speaking when a all too familiar figure was seen behind the pirate. She watched as he quickly subdued him, holding a flintlock to his head. One thing Mythica knew for sure was that he wasn't happy to be here. But she also knew he hadn't grasped the full extent of the situation she had kindly put him in.

"You should be thanking me." She said flatly, rolling her eyes. "You don't seem to know why I brought you aboard my ship." The girl said casually as she slumped into the chair behind the captain's desk, twirling her flintlock in her hand, but not showing any signs of hostility with it.

"I mean, if you DON'T want to make a king's ransom worth of gold then you can just throw your life away." She hinted, a smirk across her lip as she leaned back in the chair. She didn't show any signs of nervousness as he held a gun up to one of her crew, only because she was confident enough her words could sway him.

"Ya fuckin' twerp." He merely.answered. "Yer know me name. So ya prolly know reputation." He raised the pistol and pulled the trigger. The bullet smacking into the floor infront of her feet. He slammed the butt of flintlock against the pirates head and pulled out another to replace the unchambered one. Aiming it at Mythica. The pirate dropping forward unconciously.

"So. Yer better be talkin', before I get real mad."

Mythica gave an annoyed sigh by his response. He clearly didn't understand the hint she just tried to give him, so she naturally assumed the rum was still infecting his brain. "Aye, I know your ship sunk. And I was thrilled to witness your skill when you effortlessly took out 2-.. 3 of my men" She elaborated.

She crossed one of her legs over the other, and rested her arms on the armrests of the large chair. Obviously made for someone much larger then herself. "Take a look. I have a plan to score big, and I figured you'd want in on the job. Now I'm giving you the chance." She said smiling mischievously. No one could ever know if Mythica was trust worthy, her calm and amused demeanour built onto this personality trait. She motioned to a piece of parchment strewn across the edge of the table... It looked like the building layout of a heavily fortified naval Fort...

"That's no strategicly placed hall monitor... They're guarding something expensive..." She told him, the sly grin still on her face.

Flint arched an eyebrow, flicking one pistol its holster, still keeping another aimed at Mythica. He stepped over the body and walked over, glancing at the lay-out. "Aye. I can understand yer thinkin'. But what would be me role in this?"

He hadn't said anything binding yet. He was just informing now. If it was as good as she made it to be. It could mean enough money for a new ship. Or at least a lot of booze.

"Simple really." She began. "If I'm going to pull this job off, I have need of skilled individuals like yourself. Of course my crew is well equipped, but help from you would enhance our chances of succession." Mythica said.

"The fort itself is too heavily fortified to attack head on, we'd need the element of surprise to get the drop on em..." She got up from the chair and walked around the table, pulling another peice of paper from it. "I'm offering to give you a cut if you join the crew. For at least this mission..." She said smiling, not revealing the contents of the paper in her hand.

"What. Yer abra ca-fucking-dabra won't cut it?" He asked with a rather amused arch of his eyebrow, before shrugging. "Ya could've jus' asked, rather than havin' someone ruin me drinks 'n day." He rubbed the back of his head. It would've also prevented quite a headache.

"Ai'ght. I be in. Fer the time being." He finally decided with a shrug.

Mythica smiled at his response.

"No, I'm afraid it's more complicated then that." She told him. She then put the piece of paper on the desk. It showed the layout of some sort of watch tower, ranging to be about 50 feet in height. "The fort is located on a small island, secluded from the public. My magic won't work because of these towers that dot the island's jungle behind the fort." She pointed to the top of it.

"That rooms holds some sort of beacon, powered by mages. They act as magical watch towers that can pierce my fog..." She said, giving an annoyed expression... "That's why we're making port on the other side of the island, far from the towers. We be sending in teams to infiltrate each of the three towers, taking out the beacons, and hiding the bodies..." She said smirking.

"Stealth is crucial. Once their taken out, we'll meet back up at the ship, then I can easily create fog to surprise them. And we storm the fort, killing and stealing anything we deem worthy."

Flint walked over to the unconcious pirate and pushed his hand sidewards, holstering the two pistols he held and picking. He picked up the third, starting ro reload the flintlock. Flint turned around to Mythica. "So. 'Nough magic pirates around to have defenses against 'em," he concluded with a bitter snicker.

He nodded as he listened to the rest of her plan in silence. "Yer got this all planned out, don't'cha?"

"One reason for my winnings." She replied. "We be heading for Kunata first however. I have some... 'special' cargo waiting for me that will help us in our raid." She said giving him a smirk.

"We should arrive by the morning. For now, I suggest you see Maul. He be my first mate. He'll get you situated and give you something useful to do." She walked back around to the chair and sat in it. "Welcome to the crew."

Flint shook his head. "Lookie here, missy. I ain't none of yer crew. I'm not doin' shit fer dick on a ship that isn't mine to command. I signed up fer the mission. I didn't sign up fer yer fuckin' crew." He folded his arms. "So fuck Maul. 'N fuck doin' anythin' in particular."

With a swoosh off his coat, he turned around. "I'm back in me hammock. Ask me when ya fuckin' need me," he said, before he walked off.

The girl simply shrugged as he walked out, clearly the response she was expecting. "Well then." She simply said as he walked out the door. The girl stood up and grabbed a bottle of rum, before slowly pouring it over the knocked out pirate's head. "Oi, wake up." She said. He snorted, and slowly shook his head before looking up at the captain. She stood there, holding the bottle with an oddly evil expression.

"Get back to your post, we got work to prepare for..." He quickly got up, rubbed the back of his head and turned without saying a word. Knowing all to well the ship would arrive at Kunata by morning, the girl took off her hat, and placed it on the table. She also did the same for her cutlass, before flopping back in the chair, after taking off the trench coat. She leaned back in it with her feet up on the table, before she slowly faded into a peaceful sleep...

Flint didn't even turn around to her answer, he just went back down to the decks, brushing his way past Mythica's crew, not even looking around. People that got in his way? Though shit, they ended up on the floor in the wake of the ex captain.

He pulled himself up in his hammock and rested back, tipping his hat down infront of his eyes, snoring delightfully only several minutes after.

A few hours passed as the young captain slept, when she was suddenly awoken by a crew member who had burst through the door. A worried expression on his face. She popped an eye open by his rude interruption and gave him a face to match.

"C-Captain, we've arrived at Kunata, but there seems to be Serennian naval ships... 2 of them..." She cocked an eyebrow up when she heard this. She wasn't expecting to see them here, but she could guess why. The girl quickly leaned up. "And they've taken battle positions I assume?" She said, rather calmly. The sailor nodded in response. Mythica gave a sigh, before standing up, grabbing her coat and cutlass. "Well then, might as well give them the fight they obviously want." she said smirking.

The girl walked out of the cabin to gaze far ahead. The small sliver of the island of Kunata could be seen on the horizon as the sun was rising behind it, giving a blood red light to the water. Barring down on her ship were two Serennian naval boats, already getting ready to attack.

"These boys obviously don't know what had happened to their friends at Summervale. Battle Stations!" She yelled at her deck, as the crew members scrambled. Most of them seemed confident, just like their captain who was staring at their two opponents with a devilish smirk on her face.

The commotion of pirates getting to their battlestations didn't even get to Flint. He was still lazing around in his hammock, humming the all too famous 'drunken sailor' under his breath. Even when one of the pirates approached him and yelled that he had to get ready, he gave a careless shrug and raised his middlefinger in response. With a loud curse and a wad of spit on the floor, the pirate left again and Flint leaned back in his hammock. Closing his eyes again.

A cannonbal slammed through the hull and zoomed above him. Narrowly missing the careless ex captain. He opened his eyes with a sigh and jumped down from his hammock, strapping his rapier and dagger to his body. His fingers rang along the gilded buttstocks of his flintlocks as he proceeded to walk up the stairs in a casual manner, stopping next to Mythica. "Ya got yerself a hole in th sleepin' quarters, Soulscar," he said with a careless shrug, before looking at the two ships.

"The adjudicator and the Sainted Patriarch," he glanced back at Mythica. "Fifty five cannons each side, twenty seven canons each side. Yer want tha start a fleet, soulscar? Since I'm always wanted to get me dirty hands on th'Adjudicator." He smirked as he raised his eyepatch. "Call it a means of sweetenin' tha deal. Ya get me th'Adjudicator and I'll help ya. Plus whatever yer small ass finds in that fortress is yers fer the keepin'."

It wasn't long till the battle began. The young captain quickly wrenched the steering wheel, as the large vessel began to turn, revealing its 30 cannon side towards the two approaching ships.

"FIRE!" She screamed, her first mate responded by yelling the same. Within a few seconds, a large flurry of fire and smoke exploded from the Seraph's side, blasting towards both of the ships, who had only just begun getting into a stance to fight back. With many direct hits, her cannons struck multiple holes within the hull of the larger vessel, named the "Adjudicator". However, it responded with equal force. Among the smoke, more flashes could be seen, and soon a flurry of steel spheres flew overhead, many hitting the hull of the ship. She shook from position but only for a moment. While the Seraph had been distracted by the bigger vessel, the smaller one crept right beside...

Soon, sailors began flying on board the Seraph from the Sainted Patriarch. The girl quickly unsheathed her weapon, and hurtled over the railing the wheel stood in front into the blitz that had instigated on the main deck. As the girl landed, she let out a roll to regain her balance. releasing a shock wave of wind magic, knocking over a few pirates in front of her. Her entrance was greeted by angry yelling as two men hurled themselves at her. Parry, spin, duck and slash. They were down. She quickly engaged the others, focusing on defending the main deck so the lower one's could focus on holding off the bigger vessel.

Partway through the fight a familiar voice spoke beside the girl as she held her cutlass in a defensive stance. He seemed to be striking a deal with the girl in the middle of the fight.
"Help me sink this boarding party's ship, then we can focus on the Adjudicator!" she grunted before ducking a swing, before spinning and stabbing the attacker, kicking his body with wind magic, sending him flyover the railing of the edge.

"Yer not tha only one with a gift, missy." He answered as he turned around and flung a flintlock from the bandolier, shooting an assailant through the gut, before sheathing it and putting a hand on his rapier, brandishing it.

He raised his eyepatch, a black and deep purple revealed. He dissappeared from sight and appeared on the boat of the boarding party, starting to unleash hell with his rapier, dagger and flintlocks, killing the remaining crew before they even boarded the seraph.

As he stood between the corpses, he reappeared next to Mythica again, closing the special eye as a trickle of blood ran down from it. "Shit. Overused it." He murmured as he lowered his eyepatch again.

As Mythica continued to fight back the boarding party, she turned in Flint's direction at his last comment, only to his his eye patch upward, and his eye swallowed by a purple and black colour. Her own eyes widened for a minute in surprise, as she had never once seen anything like that before. He held onto a magic power she never knew.

It wasn't long until he seemingly puffed from the deck into thin air, and then appeared again on the enemy ship. The captain kept her eyes focused on him for a moment, as he quickly mopped up the last few crew members. When he reappeared next to her she was speechless, but only for a moment.

"Raah!" He attention quickly shot back to the battle at hand when she heard the familiar angry yell of a sailor trying to take her life. Raising her cutlass, it perfectly blocked her attacker. Within a few more blows and parries, she elegantly cut his side as he fell on the deck, bleeding out.

"Right then, now we'll board our next attacker." She told Flint, before nodding to her first mate who was just finishing off the last Navy man. Both the Seraph and the Adjudicator were currently engaged in a fierce canon brawl. Smoke and splinters of wood shot between both ships before Mythica took the wheel, and wrenched it to one side, lining the Seraph's Requiem up for a boarding run...

Flint nodded as he stepped sidewards rather wobbly, a bullet ringing past his ears. Well. He was nauseaus now. So. Barely a difference with being drunk and fighting. He took a deep sigh as his hand clenched down on the dagger behind his back.

Flint opened his right eye again and let out nothing short if a devilish grin. He made his way to the side of the ship and put his foot down on the edge. "Y'ARR. COME 'N GET SUM, YER A BUNCH O' SPINELESS COWARDS!" He called out above the thundering fire of cannons.

The captain rolled her eyes when she realized the effects of the magic he had just used had begun to make him tipsy. Drunk or not, she couldn't tell the difference. With that however, the ship had started to make it's boarding run with speed. "Aye! Lower the mains, and tae out the crew! Don't damage her more then what needs to be done!" She yelled at her crew before they quickly boarded the enemy vessel. She grabbed a rope hanging from the mast and nodded at Flint, before swinging off to meet the fray.

She quickly aimed her flintlock, and hit a navy man square in the head before landing on another, kicking him to the ground. She then unleashed a flurry of wind magic to gain her distance from the opponents that began to surround her. "Aye! TOday be a great day for fighting! Although the the winds of the water say ye be sleeping in Davy's locker!" She laughed somewhat like a maniac before continuing the fight, taking a few seconds with each opponent before quickly dispatching them, and moving to the next.

Flint followed at Mycasi's nod, flinging abourd the Adjudicator with a boarding rope. He smacked against the deck with his face first, as unceremonious as one could imagine. The sailors he landed between backed away, taken aback by this rather comical display. Yet they stood on guard as Flint rose to his feet again, the same grin plastered to his now bloody face.

A group of five sailors charged him. The first directly charged at him, scratching Flint's throat as e sidestepped. He pulled the dagger from his back and sunk the blade into the first one's chest. The second sailor pulled out a pistol. Flint turned around with the corpse to shield himself. With a loud bang that was lost in the racket of battle, a bullet dug into the first sailor. Flint smirked as he pushed the corpse away. He swiftly pulled out one of his own flintlocks and shot the second assailant in the gut, before ducking underneath the cutlass of the third sailor. The cutlass stabbed through the chest of another sailor, who slumped to the ground, bleeding heavily. Circling around the third one, Flint flicked the knife in his hand and plunged it in the back of his neck, before glaring at the fifth.

And that sailor was completely terrified. He dropped his cutlass and backed away from Flint, who gave him a manical grin.

Parry, duck, slash, flip. It was a dance the girl was all to familiar with. It wouldn't be long until the ship was under the pirate's control. She swung left and right, seeming to favour taking multiple opponents on at once. She fought her own group of navy men about 15 feet across the deck from Flint's position.

With a furious yell, a man came charging straight towards her with his sword held high. She quickly rolled across beside him, dragging her cutlass across his side. However, she immediately spun around to block an incoming strike to her waist. She let a powerful burst of wind magic go from her body, making her assailant stagger. Just enough for her to run up and kick him off the side of the boat. She backflipped as a sharp piece of steel hit the railing where she once stood, impailing the attacker before using her strength to turn his body to block the next hit. She quickly removed her weapon from the man's body, and used a powerful wind kick to kick him into his friend, who both stumbled into a hatch leading to the lower decks. With that, she got a flintlock from her side and spun around, shooting a man square in the head... Who seemed to have had his focus on Flint, as he backed up on the deck away from the former captain.

"Beat you to it." She said with a sly grin before blowing the smoke away from the barrel of her gun.

As the shot resiunded and a red mist splurted from his head, Flint glanced over his shoulder with a curious look. "A waste of yer bullet, missy." He replied, glancing around and grinning. "I think wa cleaned tha ship." He lout out a soft, content snarl as he rushed over to the captain's quarters, kicking the door down.

She quickly put the flintlock back into her holster as she surveyed the deck. Only people that were still standing was the Seraph's crew. She grinned and raised her bloody cutlass.

"The ship is ours!" She exclaimed as a thunderous roar of approval came from her crew. She turned her head to witness Flint going straight for the captain's quarters of the ship,. She grinned and followed him, keeping her blade drawn. She came up behind him, her height was much shorter then his.

"She everything you dreamed?"

A smirk came across Flint's face as he entered the captain's cabin. "Stylish," he murmured to himself as he glanced around, sitting down behind the desk on a soft, red linnen clad chair, richly decorated with gold trimmings. He kicked his boots on the desk and tipped his hat. "Aye, she's a beauty. That 'n more, cap'n Soulscar," he glanced down as he heard sope whimpering, seeing the captain of the vessel cowering under the desk. He let out a soft huff and pulled out a flintlock, shooting him through the head, several splatters landing on his coat and face.

"And ya kept yer deal. So I gotta keep mine," he replied, "but first we get this baby to tha cove and have it repaired, aye? Get it with a crew up an' runnin'."

"Heh, no need to go out of our way. I'm sure we just destroyed any Serrenian Navy in the area, so the port is as good as ours for at least a few days." She replied before walkin up to the captains desk. She lifted herself onto its edge and sat with her leg crossed. She the. Continued to wipe the blood off her cutlass on the edge of the table.

"After that battle, I'm sure many will join your crew. Well, as long as they don't know what happened to your previous one at least."

"Ye be renaming her then?" Mythica asked curiously. She seemingly ignored the wimpering man underneath the desk, until Flint put a bullet through his head. Some of the blood leaked out from under the desk as she stared at it for a moment.

"Damn Serrenians. Cowards the lot of em. Could've at least tried to defend yourself..." She mumbled.

Mythica simply rolled her eyes. "Flattering, but I can't have a ship named after me that I don't captain." She told him. "Name it something based on what the ship reminds you of. Unless Ye be having her apperance changed as well." She said with a smile.

"Now that the Seraph kinda incapacitated yer boat, guess I'll have to pull her into port myself." She said standing back up picking up a bottle of rum that lied on the captain's desk.  "I'll be at the local waterin hole when we make port. Suggest you get the ship fixed before you start recruiting." She said with a wave of her free hand before exiting the cabin, barking orders to her crew.

"'N join me in the cabin 'ere if ya wanna chat." He stated before she walked out and before he leaned back to take a deep swig from the rum.

About 15 minutes later, the grey sailed ship shifted into port, hauling a larger ship behind it. Brittled with damage from its previous battle. As the plank was let down to the dock Mythica lazily meandered the deck of her ship, closely eying the one she had hulled in. With proper treatment, and crew, it would most certainly make a fine pirate vessel. What was the feeling she had...? Was it jealousy? No, no. Of course not! The Seraph's Requiem was one of the best ships in these waters. And it had just obliterated half of the Adju- The Juggernaught's hull.

As the captain was lost in thought, her first mate came up from behind. "Cap'n. Are ye sure this is a smart idea...? Helping this man get back on his feet could just create another rival for us to compete with." She shot him a somewhat annoyed glance. "Relax. If all goes according to plan, we won't even be in these waters much longer to have him as a rival..." She said again. Maul didn't say anything, understanding what she meant. "Now, we got some... Pirates to meet in the town." She said with a sly grin... It made Maul unsettled...

Flint stulbled down the walkway, holding a bottle of rum in his hand. He took a deep swig before snorting, "empty," to himself and slamming the bottle down against the docks. Adjusting his hat as he glanced at Mythica. "It's gon' need repairing. A new layer of paint." He lifted his head to soick thriugh his greasy black hair and sighed. "I'll try and hire some seadogs." He said as he walked off to the nearest pub.

"Honestly miss Soulscar, this is preposterous!" The brown haired, fancy dressed man said with a stern glare. They had been sitting on opposite sides at a small table in the corner of the pub. "With such reckless actions, I don't know if I can continue doing business with you." At this Mythica stopped twirling the unusually fancy wine glass in her hand. "Is that how you feel? I just raided a convoy last week. With that money, you and your 'associates' will be set for another 5 years." She said rather calmly, however the uneasiness in her two crew members said otherwise. "My point. It's stolen gold. I don't want to get involved in that."

Mythica put down the glass and giggled. "Stolen gold? Of course it's stolen! When you're willing to sell to a pirate, what do you expect? We aren't exactly honest workers." At this the man sighed, and eyed her carefully as she rested a hand on the bulbous hilt of her weapon. "I do suppose you're right." He began. "Then do we have a deal?" Mythica said suddenly. He sighed before taking a sip from his glass. "I don't know what you're planning with these, but I agree to the terms."

Mythica stood up and gave a sarcastic bow. "Thank you, Lord Enevia." She concluded with a grin. "Seraph's at the docks, bring yer crates there, Maul will handle the rest." She said before walking towards the counter, shoving off some flirtatious drunks.

Flint was in the same pub as Mythica. Yet, she didn't notice him since she was too busy with bussiness. Flint in turn didn't notice the captain. He was focussing on the task at hand. Getting booze.

Or was it a crew he needed? Both. Definitly both. Flint sat down on the counter and ordered a bottle of rum, before swinging around and taking a deep swig from the bottle.

After that, he took a deep breath. "Aye listen up, ye scurvy curs!" His voice thundered thriugh the entire room, silencing all commotion. "I'm captain Flint, aye?! 'N I got me a ship, none other than tha' blighted adjudicator! Or as I'm callin' it now, since it fuckin' belongs to me, tha juggernaut!" He loud out a loud laughter, before being surprisingly met with cheers. The charismatic captain had some kind of charm to him.

"An' I need a crew o' the most rotten bastards that crawl in this fitlh! Meet me tomorrow at tha docks 'n we'll see if yer cut out for me crew!" He called out, before raising his bottle and downing it in one go, slamming it to the floor, before turning around to the bar again.

He ordered a bottle of rum as he felt a hand on his shoulder. He glanced up at someone who was at least twenty centimeters taller than him. Looked quite pissed off and not half as drunk as Flint currently was. "Oi, wat'cha want? I said tomorrow," Flint snarled.

"Woha girly! What'd do they call you?" A rather drunk, and frankly awful smelling pirate exclaimed as he groped Mythica's arm. She simply stopped and returned "Soulscar on most days, but never 'girly'." She snarled before pulling her arm away, just enough force to knock the rum infested pirate over. She sat about 10 feet across the counter from Flint as he began his announcement. This scene was all too familiar. She leaned back against the counter as he enticed the tavern, and seemingly attracted a much taller, and angry looking man. This should be interesting...

Mythica simply sat there, observing the scene while holding a mug of rum.

Flint looked up at the pirate with lazy eyes, pretty drunk, that was for sure. He let out a soft, bemused huff. "Oi. You wanna know how I made yer mum scream last night?" He asked, his tone growing rather agressive. Flint knewbthis guy wanted to fight. So he happily obliged and gave a reason.

The pirate raised his fist and smack right against Flint's face, nose cracking as he slumped to the floor, blood running from his face. He laid there for a short while before he suddenly shot up to grab the man around his waist, toppling him and getting ontop of him. Flint raised his fists to block the first punch thrown at him. He grabbed the second punch and forced the pirate's hand against the floor. He started to smack his fist down against his assailant's skull, each punch accompanying a word. "You. Made. Me. Spill. Some. Good. Rum!" He got to his feet again with a deep breath, leaning againqt the counter, before turning around and taking his seat again. "Another one of the same," he said, nodding towards the man on the floor. "His tab."

The pirate got to his feet again and approached Flint, who had recieved his bottle and sighed. "Make that two bottles." He gripped the neck and turned around, smacking the glass against the man's face with a loud clang as it broke to pieces. "'N stay down, ya rotten scumbag."

"Not unexpected." Mythica whispered to herself as she observed the brawl between the two pirates. As the larger fella tumbled on the ground, Soulscar held up a hand and retrieved a coin purse from another pirate. Evidently she was gambling upon the outcome. She leaned over to another bigger looking man and his friend. "Bet you can't knock some sense into him." She giggled. He raised an eyebrow. "How much you bet lassie?" He asked. "30 pieces says you can't beat the snot out of him." He smirked and looked at Flint. "You're on girly." He said through yellow teeth.

Mythica leaned backed against the counter and raised a glass to Flint as the two Pirates came up. "Right then, we got money riding on this brawl, so let's make it worth it." He said after crackin his knuckles.

Flint rubbed the blood from underneath his nose and took a swig from the rum, before glancing up at the two pirates that approached him.

He flung his elbow back, hitting one of them square in the chest. He doubled over gasping for breath. Flint grabbed the back of his head and slammed his face down on the counter.

He stood up and faced the second pirate, taking a deep swig from his rum, before slumping down to the floor as he started to snore loudly.

Mythica's amused face quickly vanished from her expression as she witnessed Flint fall to the floor, pissed drunk again. She gave a heavy sigh before the only standing pirate turned his attention back to her. "Guess I win then lass." he said, cackling through his yellowed teeth. "Seems so." she responded coldly, before flipping a few gold pieces his way. Even though they both knew the pirate didn't do anything to hinder the captain's movement. Although she wasn't here to make enemies.

She simply lowered her hat and leaned back against the counter. However before she could demand another drink, she felt a large, greasy hand fall on her leg. She flung her head around, her eyes pissed with what she assumed the man was trying to do. It was the same pirate who she recently gave a few gold pieces to. "I see ye got a sword. Why not triple the stakes?" he grinned, patting his own blade. Mythica hesitated for a moment, because of the awkward position his hand was. She was about to accept his offer, but then he made the wrong move.

His hand slipped farther up her thigh. Wrong move. With a quick burst of magic, he found him self staggering backwards before Mythica lunged forward. She ducked under his arm, and grabbed his blade from its sheath. With a quick turn, she was behind him, and kicked him against the counter. Within an instant she lunged forward again, holding the sword.

"AUGH!" The man yelled. His hand lay stuck the counter, oozing with blood. Lodged in between the bones of his hand was his dull rusted razor, stuck several feet into the wood below it.

It was at the same time Flint woke up that a pirate seemed to get a little frisky. He sat up and rubbed his head, hearing the cry of pain from behind him. He stood up and turned around to see the scene and recognize the face of the pirate that attacked him.

Well, it seemed Soulscar was handling the situation just fine on her own. But she was too preoccupied to see yet another pirate coming from her. But he ignored Flint. Quite stupid. Because Captain Flint loathed being ignored.

"Oi Soulscar," he blurted out as he stumbled forward, grabbing the pirate by his hair as he did. He put a hand on her shoulder and shoved her aside, before the pirate's face crashed down on the one she had pinned down, with a dry smack and several cracks.

Flint stumbled sidewards, slumping down on a stool with a soft grin. "Anyone else fancy some fisticuffs? You can just call out, then lie on the floor and cry!" The way he did handle two pirates just now, the same for Soulscar, caused an anxious silence.

It seemed like his point got across. Don't mess with the two captains.

After the short rumble the duo had seemingly started, Mythica simply wiped the blood from her cuffs on the whimpering pirate's back. "Now then, guess you won't be putting your hand anywhere else." She said in a rather annoyed tone. After witnessing Flint's routine, she grinned and adjusted her hat.

"You don't need to go easy on em y'know. We kinda just sunk the law a few hours ago." She told him with a sly smile as the rest of the tavern had their attention focused on the duo. She shot a glance to the bartender. Without needing to say a single word, he knew exactly what to do. Mythica caught another bottle of rum in her hand and quickly ripped the cork out with her teeth.

"I'll be at the Seraph, captain. I'll give you some time to gain a crew and repair your ship." She said as the girl walked out.

"Pfah, I'm too drunk to stab or shoot straight," was what the captain blurted out. One of his hands pulled something from the pirate's belt, before throwing it over. A small purse. "This is yers, I believe," he said, snorting slightly, before spitting out some blood.

"We'll be at ready tomorrow noon," Flint replied as she walked out. He glanced sidewards at the two unconcious pirates, before sighing. "I need another drink," he concluded.

But despite Flint being completely wasted, he held true to his word. Repaired, outfitted and even painted by noon, the juggernaut loomed in the docks. It was pretty clear it was the biggest ship currently docked there. A slow, yet extremely powerful warship.

And Flint was yelling orders next to his new first man. With quite the colourful language.

And as fate would have it, Flint kept his word. It wasn't long until the loud commotion of the docks awoke the young pirate. Her ship slowly rocked as her eyes squinted open from the large chair she had been sitting in. An empty bottle of rum on the desk in front of her. It was morning, although there wasn't any sunlight... Something was shading her windows from the morning's greeter.

She observed the source, which seemed to a larger ship then her own. It shared a similar resemblance to the one she had boarded, only the day before. It wasn't long until her curiosity got the better of her, and Mythica stepped out onto the deck of the Seraph. On the dock next to hers, was the Juggernaut. A much different boat then the day before.

"Aye, not sure how you managed to lose your last ship if this is how fast ye are." She told Flint as she wandered onto the deck of his boat, taking a seat on an idle barrel. Few of the crew members gave her a strange look, some staying nearby with their hands on their weapons, obviously not knowing who Mythica was.

"Oi!" Flint called to the pirates who were on edge when Mythica boarded. "Get back to work, ain't the first time ya saw a woman," he snarled. The pirates nodded and grinned, before heding back to work.

Flint lazily stepped down the stairs and leaned against the rail with a soft snort, raising his hand and rapidly curling and unfurling his fingers. "Magic fingers," he replied, before leaning back.."Can I invite ya to me private quarters, cap'n soulscar?"

Mythica simply smirked as she carefully eyed the nervous crewman watching her. Her facial expression told them: "I dare you to try something." And it seemed none of them were brave enough to test her. Or at least that's what she thought. Turns out their captain warded the curious off.

"Magic fingers?" She snorted. Although, judging by the display he pulled during the battle between the Seraph and the Serrenian naval ships, nothing would surprise her.

She cocked an eyebrow and put on a intriguing grin after his last remark. "Oh? Got something on yer mind captain?" She asked in a playful tune, one that sounded very uncharacteristically for her. Some of the others also heard this, and gave awkward glances to her and each other.

"Aye, magic fingers," Flint assured with a soft grin.

Mythica stared at his hand for a moment before standing up. She gave a sly smile before taking his hand. "Well then, let's see what you got, cap'n Flint." She said in a more hushed tone "Better not be a fucking puppy." She then said again under her breath, still containing the grin as she let him lead her into the captain's cabin.

Flint snickered softly, guiding her to the captain's quarters. "Aw shit," he joked. "You got me," he said as he pushed open the door, allowing her to step in first, before closing the door behind himself.

The quarters were tidied up, cleaned slightly and rid off the corpse Flint made prior. But it still was a pirate's cabin now, so several empty bottles littered the place. "I thought I'd share this with ya, seemed pretty valuable to," Flint said as he pulled open a cupboard,.the lock obviously forced open. He pulled up an odd bottle, richly decorated with gold touches. "How 'bout crackin' this open?"

"Huh?" Mythica stared at the bottle for a moment before giving her response. "An how do these navy captains get better rum then me?" She asked, not expecting an answer before carefully glancing around the cabin for any more hidden goodies.

"Aye, haven't been wasted in a while. Why not celebrate my victory and your new ship?"

"Would you now captain?" Mythica told him as she stretched her legs on the expansive desk. It was true, Soulscar didn't usually have the patience for those who tried to get in her pants. But she had to admit, Flint was charming. Enough to let him in on her 'get rich quick' scheme she had been planning for several months now.

She leaned upwards on her elbows and faced him. "Occasionally, I can be convinced to stay my blade." She said with a smal smirk, biting her bottom lip.

"Then I bloody well hope so this is one of yer occasions," Flint replied with a crooked grin, leaning forward, to wipe away a stray streak of hair from her face. "Yer a pretty thing, y'know, besides yer posture 'n such. Those eyes 'n hair. It's intruigin'." The grin turned to a soft smirk. "And that ain't something I usually say to the ladies, given the lack o' ladies in this career path."

Mythica stared at Flint's eyes as he spoke softly to her, her face getting somewhat red when he removed a strand of her white hair away from it. Her expression turned from a sly smirk to a surprised face when the captain kissed her. She didn't fight it however, only her hand slowly made its way up Flint's arm and onto it's shoulder before it was over. Her other hand pressed against his chest.

"Salty like any experienced sea captain." She made a remark to him with a small smile, implying she had done this before. But in truth, this was the captain's first time with anyone.

Doesn't sound like yer complainin'," Flint retorted at the remark, resting his forehead against hers. Despite her tricking him into believing she had multiple partners, he wanted to take this nice and slow. He was experienced enough to be able to tell she was at least hesitant. And the last thing he wanted was to make her feel uncomfortable.

Thus, he ocasionally pressed soft and lingering kisses on her lips, waiting for her to take some initiative.

Mythica silently fell into the rhythm of things as Flint began to kiss her more. He gloved hand on his shoulder gripped slightly tighter, and her other hand slowly snaked towards the holsters on his person, flicking off the straps to loosen them.

"My captain... You have a large flintlock." She said, giving a smirk.

"Oh?" The girl remarked. She gripped one of them in her hand, and dropped it on the table behind her. She did the same for a few others, before moving onto herself. Carefully, she un strapped the sheath of her bulbous cutlass, and placed it on the table beside her. Removing the extra weight.

(OOC: So sorry for the late reply. I had no internet access for a week, and was caught up writing stuff for the event.)

((No sweat ^^))

Flint smirked softly. "Aye, cap'n Soulscar," he assured, putting one hand on her hip, leaning in for another kiss. Letting her take lead.

She let the man kiss her as the captain's hands went for his coat, slowly removing it from his shoulders... "Can't say I've done it with another captain though... Most end up dead." She said softly with a small smile.

Flint assisted in the removing his coat, shaking it off and pulling his arms up, before resting his hands on her hips. "Aren't I the lucky one?" He asked with a soft grin.

"That you are..." Mythica said again. Suddenly, she used her weight to push him downwards on the desk as her lips were still closed with his. Her fingers silently unbuttoning his shirt.

The captain smirked softly as he was pushed down, his shirt came undone and he pulled it away, discarding it to the side. Flint seemed to have a relatively muscled body, yet it was littered with scars. The most notable one was a burn scar that ran up from his left hip all the way to his left thorax, his nipple completely gone.

Flint let out a soft chuckle against Mythica's lips, before his hands crept up to her shoulders from her back. He aimed to push her coat off and return the favour of undressing her, breaking the kiss and starting to nurse at her neck softly.

"Mmmm..." Mythica would moan as she let herself go to Flint's will. His mouth on her neck as her coat fell from her shoulders. The blouse underneath would be silenty lifted off. Her body was rather smooth, and showed little sign of injury. There was a scar across her stomach, just below the belly button, but other then that it was left mostly unharmed.

Flint worked the soft kisses from her neck up to her jawline again, before pressing a soft kiss on her lips, smirking slowly. "Halfway there, Cap'n."

Mythica clenched her jaw as Flint carresed it with his mouth, her shirt now completely off, revealing her black bra. Her white hair was rather long, falling over her shoulders. "Ooh captain, what would your crew think?" She retorted, smirking misheviously at her companion.

"That I'm one lucky bastard," Flint answered with a soft smirk, his hand smoothing down her back to slowly unclasp the bra, his other hand travelling down to grip her thigh and pull her closer against him. He pressed another soft kiss on Mythica's lips, closing his eye again.

After that... The two pirates gave themselves to eachother as the sun slowly set on the horizon...

The morning lights flickered in through the windows of the boat's captain quarters. Mythica was sound asleep with messy white hair over Flint's naked chest. It was evident that the two had moved their operations to the bed sometime during the night, as that's where they had been lying. The young girl's body was completely naked, but most was covered by the sheets of the large bed. On the other side of the quarters Mythica's belongings lied. Her blue trench coat and rose feathered hat stood dormant beside her cutlass. She had a hand over his stomach as her head rested over his beating heart. Still sound asleep from the night.

As Mythica was resting on his chest, Flint was sleeping on his back, completely naked save for the eyepatch he always wore. One arm was wrapped Mythica's frame, his hand resting on her shoulder. The male captain snored softly, a crack of light passed on his face and he stirred with a soft snort, trying to sit up.

But the weight of Mythica's head stopped him and he kept still, glancing down at the mess of white hair. He couldn't help but smirk softly as he remembered the night prior. He gave the captain a soft squeeze to wake her up.

Mythica silenty began to stir in her slumber as Flint pressed the weight of his arm around her.  Soon, her violet eyes began to flicker open. She felt Flint's chest underneath her head, and wearily looked over at the captain. She suddenly remembered the night. Her face looked tired as strews of hair passed over her facial features.

"That was... Entertaining..." She spoke softly, still weary from sleep. She could still feel the ship creak and groan as it swayed silently on the dock. That's when Mythica suddenly remembered: This wasn't her ship. She was aboard Flint's new vessel. Not on the Seraph's Requiem.

"Crew's probably wondering what happened to us..." She yawned.

Flint smirked softly as he leaned forward to press a kiss against her head. "Thats all I get? Entertainin'?" He inquired teasingly, sitting up slightly as he pulled the smaller captain up with him. "At least I'm still alive, given yer reputation," he concluded with a soft chuckle.

"Probably," Flint answered to the latter remark, face screwing up slightly as he groaned, before letting her go to stretch his arms with a deep groan.

"Fer now." She chuckled at Flint's question. She leaned up with her head on his shoulder before lifting it up along with the sheets to cover her body. Her eyes squinted as the morning sun flickered in through the curtains of the window.

A few minutes later, the captain was nearly fully dressed, pulling on her blue trench coat, checking herself in the mirror of the captain's cabin. Finally, she placed her rose feathered hat on her head and was satisfied with her looks. She turned to the other captain before putting a hand on his cheek. "Better inform yer crew of the job we're gonna pull off." She said through a devilish smile. Before turning to the double doors of the cabin, opening them suddenly only to be bombarded with the smell of sea salt and the un's rays. All of Flin'ts crew stopped dead in their tracks, staring at Mythica with wide eyes. She simply gave them a wink before walking off the ramp and towards the Seraph's Requiem, steadily swaying a few docks over.

"Then I'll just haf'ta try better next time," he answered with a soft chuckle and another soft kiss on her forehead.

Flint just sat back in bed and watched her get dressed, smirking and crooning as she did. And as she left the ship, thoroughly eyed by his crew, the Captain sat up and followed her out. "Oi! You curs! Don't'cha 'ave anythin' to do but oogle a cap'n?! Get back to work!" He called as he stood in the doorpost of his cabin.

Stark naked.

After dodging all the questions her crew had bombarded her with upon her return to the Seraph's Requiem, Mythica seated herself in the captain's cabin. Her hands hurriedly scribbled out a letter to an unkown party, but judging by her speed and sudden shift hand movements, as well as the expression on her face, she seemed pissed about something. Finally she finished the final word of the letter , and scraped the feathered ink quill off the edge of the paper. Slamming the letter on her desk she sighed in an annoyed tone before lifting herself off the large chair, and opened the double doors.

"Right then! You all know the drill? Tonight we take that Serenian fort! So get to your stations!" She yelled while gripping the railing of the deck tightly. "And my new friend will be helping us! His bigass ship will be close behind, so smile would ya?" Mythica turned to her first mate. "Make sure our special cargo is kept safe... And it doesn't get wet..."

Flint retreated back into his cabin after both Mythica left and his crew went back to work, to get dressed ofcourse. After all, trying to commandeer a ship in the nude was not only ineffective, it was cold. And.those were prior exepriences.

He stepped out his cabin again, tipping the large hat as he walked up to the helm, sliding his fingers across the marge wheel, smiling softly. "Alright ya scurvy dogs!" He piped up suddenly, his crew standing at attention. "The personbwho gave y'all a purpose in yer forsaken life wants us to raid a fortress! And this ship's perfect fer doin' just that! Set sail! We follow the Seraph's Requiem!"

And so, the monstrosity that was the newly dubbed Juggernaut trailed behind Mythica's Requiem, dwarfing her ship inb comparison to the Juggernaut.

She stood at the bow of the ship as the morning mist began to billow in behind the two boats. This hadn't been caused by Mythica though, it was all natural. The fort the two pirate crews were headed was very large, but still quite a ways away. They wouldn't reach Mythica's planned location until sunset, assuming the winds would hold. She glanced up at the sails of her ship, spotting the Seraph's colours. A music note made completely up of skeletal bones swayed silently in the dawns breeze. Somehow that reminded her of something. Not wasting anytime, the girl quickly trotted through the deck, avoiding eye contact with her crew as they hurriedly attended their stations. She walked up to the rear of her ship and eyed the Juggernaught. Flint's new vessel was by far very large. It even dwarfed Mythica's boat, and she owned your average galleon class ship. She was taken off a moment by its size, but quickly shook the thought and remembered what she had been doing. Turning to her first mate who was currently at the wheel.

"Oi, Maul!" He looked over with interest. "Aye cap'n?"
"You think I'll need to bring ol Raken into this battle?"
Maul shifted slightly with discomfort. "Not with that ship backing us up... And not with our cargo." Mythica turned her head again, pondering his hypothesis. "Besides, I'm sure he's still tired after the LAST confrontation you forced him into." She chuckled at his comment. "I guess that's a safe bet... Either way, I'll have him on standby in case things go south..." She said, looking down at the back face of her hand. She silently removed the glove to reveal the serpent tattoo lacing around her wrist onto the back of her hand. It began to silently glow a faint grey light...

Flint mostly spent his time on the wheel himself. He steered the ship behind Mythica's, his crew at the ready, all doing their assigned tasks. The man glanced up at the horizon as the fortress rose in the distance, the sun setting. Flint took a deep sigh.

"Ai'ght! Everyone to battlestations! Ready yerselves!" He bellowed as his men scurried to their positions.

With the wind getting stronger, Mythica could feel the presence of an approaching conflict drawing ever closer. Steering her ship silently as the sun began to silently set on the horizon, a large naval for blocking half of it from view... They had been sailing near the island, and through her spyglass the captain could easily make out the faint outlines of towers dotting the jungle landscape behind the naval fort. She nodded to her first mate, who knew exactly what to do without saying another word. He quickly walked down the stairs, barking orders at the crew as they got prepared for battle. No doubt the fort hadn't seen the two ships, especially Flint's. After all, it hadn't gotten its name for nothing.

Now it was time for the smokescreen. The magical towers on the island would be able to see the two ships, but the fort itself would have trouble through the thick fog. Something Mythica had planned perfectly... Her crew was simply going to dock near the fort, but out of the tower's vision. Hopefully Flint would distract the fort's attention through the fog, while Soulscar and her crew snucked up to the fort's gates, and busted it down...

Wasting no time, Mythica let go of the wheel as the alarm bells of the fort could be heard ringing furiously in the distance. She silently raised an arm to the sky, and closed her eyes... Taking several deep breaths as the air around her began to shift, blowing her long white hair behind her, as a large ball of mist manifested around her palm. Suddenly, she opened  her violet eyes and uncurled her hand. Within an instant, the entire surrounding water was engulfed in a gigantic smoke cloud! The cloud moving rapidly across the ocean straight towards the fort, obscuring it completely from view...

"Alright men! Some of you are new 'ere, but I'll explain exactly how things go 'ere!" He called out, some of Flint's older members that knew him prior to his previously sunken ship grinned, having already heard this speech. "People are gun' die. But ya see, more of them are gun' die!" He started, grinning as he called out. "We're on a behemoth of a ship, bigger than me own mum, god bless 'er, and more durable than the chastity belt of a noblewoman!" He called out, met with laughter and agreeing shouts.

"I ain't promisin' a ticket back home, y'all knew what ya signed up for, but survivors will be rich as kings! Take all we can and give nothing back! Let's show these prissy military men jus' how it's done!" He called out loudly, a chorus of loud aye's resounding as his answer.

Flint only grinned as the alarm bells sounded and the fog gathered. "Load up the cannons! We're goin' in blind!" He called loudly, before a thunderstorm of cannonballs was shot at the fortress.
