Physical Description
Cute and petite, Dahnny (as most are apt to call her that know her well), stands under five feet tall, and is one of the shorter girls in her community, though she has a big mouth and personality. She has black hair, green eyes that are shaped in a way the allude at other potential ethnicities aside from her known Connlaothian heritage. Her hair is long and normally worn back in a tail. Her nose is a bit pointed, as is her chin, but she has rather full cheeks (her face being heart shaped). She dresses in well, simple dresses (it's all her family can afford). The war has been tough on her family, so she's lucky she has boots that fit (albeit are a bit too big) for winter!

Personality
Dahnny grew up in a community full of boys who, year after wear, were depleting in numbers due to the draft for the war. At first the war didn't really effect her, the duchy of Allar not being an easy place for rebels to place any sort of attacks, but also she lived in a small farm landing community that seems untouched by war. Her personality is as muted by the war as this is, except now that she's watched boy after boy from her childhood 'disappear' to join the war. Though it was duty, now that she, and her closest friend (http://www.spiritsoftheearth.net/smf/index.php?topic=23502.msg351081#msg351081) (who is the same age as her- even born on the same day!) are nearing the age of the draft, she's beginning to worry about him.

However, showing her concern was never her strong suite. Sure, she'll voice it, but she's easy to laugh it off along with the boys. She's a bit of a tomboy for it, and has a bit of a temper. Lucky for her, she's smart. She's one of the few in her village that can read (thanks to her father, who learned some from HIS father), and the rest she more or less self taught herself from the few books available in their small town.

She was always a self learner, and always pushing the limits, especially in regards to her gender.

Magic/Abilities
Smart and tomboyish, can fight with a stick, and knows basic swordsmanship, due tot he boys she grew up with who had to train for the war. She can even hunt rabbits with the best of them, but only got any good at it within the past year. She's still very much a rookie.

Relationships
Chase (http://www.spiritsoftheearth.net/smf/index.php?topic=23502.msg351081#msg351081) - there's a boy from her hometown who's about to be drafted. They're more or less best friends and well, she might feel a little more towards him. He's the reason she's snuck into the army and pretended to be a man- not realizing the implications of being a soldier, but fearing for her friends life enough to foolishly join the ranks in hopes to remain close to his side. (this coupled with the fact she always resented not even being allowed to join if she wanted to, anyway!)

History
A simple girl living in a small village mostly protected by the war. She has yet to see the real death and destruction of it- for had she seen it yet first hand, she might have reconsidered pretending to be a boy to join the army...
