What are your favorite kinds of plots and relationships to play?
Organic and/or slowburn romances are always the best! While I love romance and don't mind if it makes a good portion of the plot, I do like it if there are other things going on--overarching themes, an end goal in mind, and things that challenge the characters to make hard decisions.

What are your least favorite kinds of plots and relationships to play?
Plots that have no end goal or rps where it's just "let's put our characters together and see what happens" with no plotting tend to bore me quickly. A conclusion doesn't need to be reached in every single thread, but the characters should have something to work towards over the course of time.

What are your favorite character types to play?
Any characters that challenge common perceptions and ideals. For example, the morality of Predators hunting Xenomorphs, or what the definition of life becomes when talking about AI.

Are you a planner or a pantser? Do you prefer to pre-plan and stick to a script when posting, or do you prefer to surprise and be surprised?
A little pre-planning is necessary to make sure the chemistry between characters is there and to establish general plot points to work towards; we don't need to determine the entire thread from start to finish, but an outline is best!

How do you feel about group threads?
Not a fan; life makes long-form group thread posting really difficult and it's rare that one will ever finish or reach the goals it was made for, which can be frustrating, so I tend to stay out of them.

How often can you reply to any given thread? How long should a partner wait before nudging you for a post?
Typically I reply within a few days, after that you can nudge me but I do work a full-time job on top of running my own business and dealing with life in general (ie sick relatives, laundry, just needing a day to sit on my couch and do nothing while contemplating my existence, yknow, stuff.)

What is the longest you're willing to wait for a reply to a thread?
Pretty much an eternity! I really love posting quickly and moving a thread fast but at this stage of the game I know very well that sometimes life kicks you in the ass and it can take months before something happens. I get it, man.

How do you feel about instant messenger RP?
Can be very fun and I'm definitely open to it! That's how I originally started roleplaying :D

Ho do you feel about post volleying/rapidfire RP?

What's your preferred posting style? Long posts? Short posts? Anything and everything?
Mid-long length posts (usually over 250 words) are preferred. If you answer with a post with just one sentence then I'm ollying outtie.

Comedy! I love writers that can make fun of their character and/or mine and make funny situations.

First-person perspective, it's extremely hard to do well and in a way that isn't annoying, so usually if I see this I run for the hills.



What are you limits regarding powerplay/godmoding?
Typically I prefer the implication that something may be happening--ie, "character A tries to throw a punch at B before following with a roundhouse kick". If something is important for plot or a joke, ie Character A slapping character B, maybe toss it to me as an idea first before writing it.

What are your limits in regards to romantic situations?
Characters under the age of 18 are off limits for romance (and tbh, I'm not too interested in characters under 20 either.) No lolicon (ie character looks 12, is 25.) One-sided feelings, IC rejection, and both pre-planned and organic romance are all great!

What are your limits with regards to graphic content such as sex, violence, drug use, sexual assault, etc? What is your comfort level?
Smut writing is fun, violence can be, drug use can be important in telling a story (as long as it's not being used as a trope or an excuse,) and sexual assault can also be important in making realistic characters (again as long as it's not being used as a trope or an excuse,) but I will only imply sexual assault and try not to go into graphic detail.

What are your limits in regards to pregnancy within plots?
It would reeeeally have to depend on the characters and the plot, and it needs to be talked about first. Generally I'm not interested, but there are some circumstances where it can be something really important that I am open to!

Physical Description
Lec isn't a short man but he's certainly not the tallest to have walked this earth either, but he certainly does have a lot of muscle. He's got to, after all, when his weapon easily outweighs several horses. His skin has tanned from a lifetime spent outside, but his long, shaggy ash blonde hair remains the same, with bright forest green eyes to compliment it. He's got scars and gashes all over his body, but they come and go with the times, some proving to be far more fascinating stories to tell than others. He's almost never seen without a smirk on his face--in his eyes or on his lips, doesn't matter, he just radiates confidence from his head to his toes.

Personality
Lectyr is a hotheaded sunuvabitch who takes the phrase 'the whole world is your oyster' to new levels. Carefree and free-spirited, there's rarely a time where he's not grinning or making a joke or being a smartass. He lives to enjoy life to the fullest, and can best be described as a party animal who makes himself the center of attention and loves it under the spotlight. One thing Lec surprisingly knows is when to tell the difference between times to be serious and times to play. He can be surprisingly intuitive, and often has good instincts regarding the emotions of others; he knows sensitive subjects when he sees them, and is surprisingly caring in that he'll gladly take time out of his day to be there for someone who needs it the most. He's a good guy, even if he can be a reckless fool most of the time.

Magic/Abilities
Lec has gained access to minor magic abilities over the years, mainly with simple magic tricks that enhance his own strength and speed as well as his trusty giant warhammer. He's got spells that can make him faster, or make it harder for his swing to miss, among many other small things. However, he can usually only cast one or two at a time, and while he's gotten good at casting them quickly when in a pinch, he still can't use his magic on anyone else but himself yet.

Need something transported from city to city, town to country, house to Bumfuck Nowhere? Something you can't trust with your average carrier or the wanderer on horseback going to the next town? Then Lectyr is your guy.

Lec can do anything--he can sail, he can ride, he can even take your goods on foot if you like. Are they illegal? Shameful? Don't worry, he'll take them for you. For the right price, of course.

Specifically, Lec often tends to deal with items of the criminal variety, namely drugs. He's an adept smuggler, with a small ship of his own tethered to port near his house by the beach just outside of Cerenis, he can get just about anywhere any way, but don't be fooled by his good nature--he'll do what's necessary in order to get a job done.

Born to a family of four brothers, Lec was always the most troublesome. He's gotten himself into a lot of shit over the years--shit that's led to him being shot at more than once. He's got the scars to show it, but apparently taking multiple beatings over the years has yet to put any kind of damper on his peppy personality. He can handle himself, for the most part, but he knows that when he does need help, he has his brothers at his back when he needs them, just as he's there for them. Friends in higher places? Sure, that too, but if you really want to ask him where he thinks he gets his success from, he'll just tell you he's got a very kind angel looking over his shoulder and a LOT of luck.

Physical Description
A good height for a gal her age, Atashi is rather lean, but don't let her slender appearance fool you. In all of her travels she's become rather adept at parkour, easily able to lift her own body weight and climb just about anything. She's strong, and quite fast due to her long legs. Her hair sweeps down her back when not in its signature high ponytail, gracing her hips with its rich brunette tones. Her right eye is blue, and her left is red, suggesting she might have other interesting genes mixed in from her heritage, but as far as she knows she is just your every day human girl. She is also covered head to toe in strange black stripe and arrow tattoos, which she likely got over the course of a few too many drunken episodes. But hey, she thinks they look good against her lightly tanned skin, so it's fine. Probably. She also sports a few scars, particularly a long thin one that starts at her left shoulder blade and arches downwards and diagonally across her back to end at her right hip.

Personality
Atashi is a girl who crows about her greatness and will cackle in the face of danger. She is daring and doom all wrapped into one; wild and fiery she will charge headfirst into action without so much as a second thought, and more often than not causes problems and adventures for herself by her poor ability to think things through, clumsiness, or just sheer dumb luck. It's rare that she can take severe situations seriously, because it's a good way to curb fear. Though surprisingly when it comes to others, when it really counts she can sober up quickly because she understands that there is a time and place for everything. She may like to blindly dive into trouble, but when it's something serious that involves others she has no hesitation in doing whatever she can to help them out regardless of her own selfish desires. Loves parkour and rock climbing.

History
Born and raised in the great city of Reajh, Atashi was no stranger to the dangers of mages and the potential for evil waiting around every bend because of spooky scary skeletons magic, finger waving and all. Her mother, an Adelan raised in Ketra, had slightly different views however, ones that she passed onto her rambunctious daughter.

It was because of this that Atashi grew up with a strange outlook for someone raised in Reajh; she really didn't think mages were all that bad, especially if they weren't hurting anybody. Especially when she and her best friend were out playing one afternoon and her friend discovered that she could make flowers grow. In seconds.

They were extremely young, at the time; and for a while, they kept it a secret, figuring it wouldn't do anyone any harm, mostly at the convincing of Atashi.

It was when they were teenagers, out a little too late at night and surrounded by a group of drunk men that it did hurt somebody.

Atashi was always a brawler, playing in the mud with the rest of the boys, while her best friend was the opposite, and while Atashi did her best beating the men back, one of them managed to get a hold of her companion, and in a moment of panic, vines sprouted forth from the ground and impaled him like spears. It had been an accident, a defense mechanism. Her friend had been sobbing uncontrollably the entire time, while the drunks called for help and mordecai showed up immediately on the scene.

The only reason Atashi wasn't punished equally for hiding the truth was because her friend, though panicked, was smart. She did the only thing she could think to do to keep Atashi from being considered suspicious, and attacked her with her magic.

Her friend was publicly executed, considered a psychopath who had been corrupted by magic, and Atashi watched with tears in her eyes. It was the least she could do when she thought it was all her fault. Afterwards, she left Connlaoth, immediately, and said she'd never go there ever again. Deep down, her heart still aches and she still blames herself for what happened, something she'll never truly be able to forgive herself for.

So she spends her days being an idiot, refusing to really grow up and trying to have fun and still find joy in life--and for the most part, she's been successful. But there are some nights when she stays in the tavern too long, finds herself at the bottom of a bottle and feeling too guilty to enjoy anything at all.

Physical Description
Shini is a tall, pale and slender figure that often gets mistaken as a ghost. His long white hair reaches his waist, sleek and straight. His body boasts a few scars from the past, but is otherwise unmarred by things such as birthmarks or tattoos. His face is a kind of gentle and effeminate, entrancing beauty that typically leaves others' mouths agape, or asking if he is some kind of spirit or deity (which he kind of is?) He emanates grace and fluidity, not quite touching the ground as much as hovering over it so as to not harm the life growing underfoot, though he still "walks" in such a dignified manner most people tend not to notice. Where he walks he leaves trails of blooming plants in his wake. He tends to favor lightweight and long, flowing clothing with lots of layers and soft colors.

In his Qirin form he is a large, four-legged herbivore that seems a cross between a horse and a deer. His white fur carries an almost pearlescent sheen that is mixed in a few spots along his shoulders and backside with iridescent white scales. His tail is long with sweeping, shimmering hair, and he boasts a thick mane of equally soft hair that goes around the entirety of his neck similar to a lion.

Shini is a pure being, a living personification of the beauty of life and good fortune. He has endless patience and understanding, values the life of every creature, and is a nurturing soul. Sometimes he may get a little wrapped up in himself in his own excitement, and sometimes he may come off as being a little selfish or perhaps not thoughtful of others' emotions, but when he does slip up he is quick to apologize and do his best to make amends. He doesn't exist to hurt anyone, rather, he thinks he exists to help them. He wants to be there for others to watch them grow and be the best version of themselves they can possibly be!

Shini has been around for many, many hundreds, or perhaps even thousands, of years.

Qirin are often associated with the rise of rulers, good fortune and auspicious omens, and Shini has already done more than his fair share to help benevolent people rise to power to protect their citizens. Typically he will stay with his chosen person until such time as he is sure they no longer need his help, and then he will bid bittersweet farewell and wander off to help someone else. Sometimes, during times of war and strife where his powers are exercised to their fullest, he will enter a period of deep sleep, hibernating somewhere hidden in nature until one day when he is fully rested enough he can return and go back to his wandering ways.

Most recently he's found that he has awakened in the frosty snowscapes of a place now called Gushui... And he has no idea how long it's been since he was last conscious!
