With all the work involved in maintaining records of hundreds of years of history while still remaining on the lookout for new events to record, sometimes even a demon could use an extra helping hand. After spending too much valuable time that could be spent searching for more information and generally getting some actual work done, Charlotte decided it was time to look into finding an assistant, or perhaps a slave - just someone who could perform the basic chores while she worked.

Of course, she had the capability of summoning one herself, but this wasn't the best plan. Any servant that she summoned would be demonic. This meant that it would most definitely be evil, and therefore they would likely be either plotting at all times ways to kill her, or too incompetent to perform the tasks she expects. And then there would be the complaining: "I want to rend flesh! My back hurts! Just let me eat that baby!" Yeah, no thanks.

Instead, the demon had a different solution in mind. She knew of someone within La'marri who was skilled with the creation of golems and other constructs. It might cost some money, but such a being would typically be obediant and strong, with a lot less complaining. Maybe not the best for stimulating conversation, but that wasn't what she needed them for.

Charlotte strolled through the village in her natural demonic shape. La'marri was just about the only place where a demon could walk around openly, so long as they weren't causing trouble, and it helped that she had gained some reknown as a historian as proof that she wasn't out to steal any souls. It was a freedom that she liked to take advantage of at any opportunity, although the casual dress she wore may have looked just a little out of place on a demon.

Arriving at the home owned by the construct master, Charlotte knocked on the door.

(I'll let you play the golem's creator.)

Scythe-Nova

((Thats probably for the best :P))

The house was large and made out of large dark cobblestones and a dim light were coming out of the windows of the house and faint strange sound could be heard from deep within the house. After some time the door creaked open and a tall woman in a dress that looked like it was made of frosted glass looked down on Charlotte. her eyes were like two large black opals and her skin were like polished Marble. she stood still for a moment before stepping backwards to the side of the door and gestured that Charlotte could go in.

-"The mistress is working but if you would like to wait she will be with you in a while... And please mind your wings so you do not knock anything over"

The inside of the house were beautifully decorated with exspensive silk clothed furnitures and painted wooden tables, The floor were carpeted with a black and purple rug. There were no paintings on the walls and the only other art was statues in all sizes and shapes none of them looked like they were Golem material though. The tall Golem woman gestured at the sofa group i the middle of the room while looking at Charlotte.

It didn't take very long to receive an answer - and as she might have predicted, that answer came in the form of a golem. Charlotte had to take a moment to admire the craftsmanship. It looked to be a fine construct, large and likely strong, made with sturdy marble or at least something that looked like it. It was pleasing to the eye as well; a beautiful sculpture that had been given life, or at least some semblance thereof.

Telling the venerable demon to be careful with her wings was an unnecessary warning. Through her centuries of life, she had mastered the amount of spatial awareness required to know where her wings and tail were and not break anything with them. It helped that she could use her own shapeshifting abilities to simply shrink them down; in fact, that's usually what she did.

Still, she understood the precaution. There was no need to be impolite.

"Of course," Charlotte replied with a light nod. Her wings would shrink considerably as she passed through the doorway. The demon took note of the many sculptures inside; obiously, this woman enjoyed scultping. It made sense, though, considering that a golem was just a sculpture animated by magic. That was the basis, anyway. The actual process was likely more involved.

"Thank you," she said with a polite nod when the construct gestured toward a sofa. Charlotte strolled gracefully toward the piece of furniture, where she would sit and cross her legs, waiting patiently for the 'mistress' to finish her work.

Scythe-Nova

The Golem bowed slightly and walked silently over to a cabinet and opened it revealing some bottles of wine and other liquids, It looked over at Charlotte and gestured at the cabinet in a manner of emphathizing the contents of the cabinet.

-"Would you want anything to drink while waiting for the master?"

The Golem asked and silently looked at Charlotte, and just some seconds after she asked the other door in the room opened and a Woman walked into the room. The woman had short Brow blonde hair and slightly masculine face she had a pair of small glasses resting on the bridge of her nose, She were clothed in thick leather overalls and she wore large gloves which were covered in intricate designs and arcane runes of unknown origin. A large leather belt held up her pants and many tools hanged from the belt together with some pouches with unknown contents. The woman looked at charlotte and smiled widely and walked up to her.

-"Hey there friend Agatha Mirran, Golem artisan and designer at you service"

she said with a Cheerfull expression and tone and reached out her hand to Charlotte wanting to shake her hand. There were some dirt and grime on her clothes and som on her cheek but she did not seem to mind at all. The Golem bowed to her master when she entered and silently looked at her waiting to be ordered something or to be dissmissed.
