(( This is a continuation between characters who know eachother and their opinions on shizz, or pretty much. Know what they look like, know what they can do. Btw Illy, if there are more then five mistakes. Lemme know, cause I was testing out this websites ability to spell check. ))

Wandering. Wandering across places, across lands and even across magic itself, Demarius had been moving for a long time. He remembered how he crossed across great distances through magic. There were many lands he touched, many people effected forever by his passing. Some hailed him a hero, others condemned him a killer--heartless and without compassion.

Ultimately, Demarius did one thing perfectly. He got in other people business and whenever he came to a new land, there was always an altercation between himself, the local crime lords and the leaders of cities and states. Demarius did not respect the law outside of the light, and acted always within it.

Well, he had been walking the land of Serendipity long enough to irk some of the wrong people. His name wasn't spoken yet by the people as a vigilantly nor a hero. Just a handful of assassins had been dispatched to slay him. What they did not know was that this was exactly what Demarius had wanted. When they came after him, they fed him. They gave him exactly what he needed to know his life was worth anything. Because of this, Demarius fled.

He ran to Selevea, knowing this would be an wonderful proving ground to show the criminal underground and the entire state that he had come and that nothing would be the same again. Yet, what Demarius did not know was that he was walking headlong into an adventure that perhaps not even he could handle.

Regardless, after a week or so wanted posters would be posted against the peers, docks and doors of taverns. The poster would be next to no good however, showing little but a face hidden by half of a mask with spiked hair. This would be after a series of violent, bloody murders. The odd thing was, even if a good eighty percent of those killed were criminals. A small percent seemed to be just normal people.

That was the first of things that did not normally happen when Demarius made a city his home base. Or at least, those who were not criminals being slain. The second, was that he was being followed by a exceptional agent sent by combined efforts of three of the great houses. Following Demarius on his road, with a special mission.

Word would spread quickly of this killer, slaughtering local smugglers who brought both drugs, weapons and slaves. (The latter actually being a criminal offense in this country) A few wanderers had come, curious about the uproar. The local cartels were up in arms and the shadow of death was looming over them all.

It was rumored that the blessed slayer (the name that sprung up) used a local bar as a hunting ground. Waterfront Spirits, an accurate name for it was a few feet away from the docks.

Inside of this bar would several tightly knitt groups of tattooed thugs, smugglers and the like. The only one who sat alone was a man with tight leather armor, soft brown eyes and stark white hair. The others seemed to ignore him, for he let nobody speak to him.

For one who knew Demarius however, they might look for him in areas that they knew where he favored. These being the sewers and the tops of abandoned buildings. Finally... Demarius always seemed to be pulled into conflicts.

No matter what happened, the board was set and the pieces were moving. A plot had begun that not even Demarius could keep under control, or at least not alone. Would this be his final adventure? Only time could tell.

((Mmmmm maybe just one spelling mistake, and I'm not sure about it. I'd say the spellchecker did fine. <3))

Her mind was heavy with questions and worries. They say he killed mercilessly and that alone made the yoreiqi cringe. She didn't know how many he killed, nor how many of them were innocent. A part of her didn't want to know. At times, she felt like he was drowning, and she was trying her best to keep him out of the water. But there were times when he threw her compass into the grey, and she knew that she would either pull him into the light, or the darkness would swallow both of them. The woman feared their joined fate, yes, but she wouldn't give up on a friend, no matter what.

And so, as the majority who have heard of him feared him like some fairytale monster, Rica was too busy worrying about the shadow that loomed over the shadowdancer himself. Was the man slipping? Would she be forced to stop him?

She tried hard not to think about it.

There she was, perched on a rooftop, occasionally observing the people below. He wouldn't be down there, she knew, but she still looked in idle wonderment. She'd been following his trail across the land, and had just arrived in this town. Truth be told, the woman was far too tired to search for him, yet she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep right if she didn't. In fact, she hadn't slept right for days now.

Rica waited for the sun to set, so she could go on a mad hunt for the buffoon, for the umpteenth night in a row. She waited, with one of the wanted posters in her hands. The yoreiqi had picked it up the moment she walked into the city. The bloody things were everywhere.

His image was spot on - the barely visible green glint in his solitary eye, the silver hair and the mask. They pegged the appearance with no problem, vague as it was, but that still wasn't the man she knew.

"Damn it, Demarius. You look too menacing on this." The winged woman grumbled in annoyance, crumpling up the poster and throwing it over her shoulder. She wished she could make all of them vanish with but a thought, if only that could help him.

((Lemme know if the post is okay. :3))

The crumpled piece of paper would slowly arch over her shoulder, falling through the air behind the woman's back. There it would hit the ground and bounce, slowly rolling end over end as it rolled away from her. End upon end it would roll as it slowly hit something a few feet away. The door that lead down into the building had opened with only a soft creek. Out of the door there would step a doeskin shoe, followed by a link of metal. A man with dirty, reddish orange hair would step out. He was wearing leather armor that had its different parts connected by links of metal. At his hip he wore a pair of bolos and what seemed to be a circle, with a handgrip.

Rica would know it as a knuckle, a punching weapon. The metal would cover the fingers, allowing for a more vicious punch. Yet he wasn't wearing them. He was just bending over to pick up the piece of paper before unfolding it and opening it up. He'd smirk before looking over to the winged woman. He'd blink for a moment, not sure what to make of her before shrugging.

"You are the not the only one." He'd mutter quietly as he took a step towards the winged woman.

"Looking for him, that is. Half of this city has gone mad. I'm not going to repeat what they say, I am sure you have heard it. The guards are on the look out. Spell casters seek him, yet he is a slippery devil. Tracking him through magic isn't working or so they say."

He chuckles, shrugging. He'd slowly walk up to her side, looking to her.

"I heard talking from down below. I was looking around myself. Do you know him at all? And before you ask, I only know he's killed a few people who weren't exactly wise to kill. I knew some of the people he's killed, some of them weren't exactly the nicest chaps around. But hey... Its not like they were entirely deserving of death. What do you think?"

The man laughed, peering at the yoreiqi.

"What do you think of all of this?"

The woman paused, catching the soft peal of metal behind her which put her on alert, mind and body alike. With a grunt, she cast a glance over her shoulder, spotting the stranger's weapons and armor. Grand, another mercenary running around like a lost puppy, and Rica couldn't help rolling her eyes at that fact, not caring much whether he saw her doing so or not.

Yet, as he spoke of Demarius, the winged woman caught herself smiling a bit smugly. They are never going to find him if they're going about it like this. Heck she couldn't find him, and she knew him better than many people. The yoreiqi gave the stranger a bitter laugh, contrasting his own to a degree.

"Well, you obviously think this ordeal is very amusing..." She began when he asked her, straightening and turning to level her eyes with his. "Enough for you to bother random people on random roof-tops when they obviously want to be left alone."

"Nobody deserves death, and it's not a laughing matter." The woman glared at him. "And if you don't want to cut your own life short, I suggest you run home to your mother and wait until this blows over. This man -won't- be found by the likes of you. Got it?"
