Physical Description
Lucine holds herself with all the stature and proper pose of a young lady of nobility, her spine always straight and shoulders always back - no slouching! Shoulder length hair in a dark reddish burgundy color is often done in loose curls, though she often pins it back if she is going to be on a mission (for particularly sticky situations, she'll even braid it). She has a creamy pale complexion, though increasing amounts of time in the sun have brought a spatter of freckles out across her nose and cheeks. Her eyes are a sharp green with ample honey-gold hues, probably her most striking feature, although few could say there were glad to have her piercing gaze on them. Though she has lovely, doll like features - large almond shaped eyes, a dainty button nose, full lips - her expression tends to be so severe as to detract from these natural graces. Often her lips are pursed, her eyes are narrowed, her brow is creased - such is her default expression while in Mordecai mode. And she is in Mordecai mode more often than not.
Despite seemingly prim and proper, Lucine forgoes the norm that Mordecai women are relatively interchangeable with Mordecai men. She is always in a full dress, generally with two or three layers of clothing, not including the pantaloons under them (naturally it would be in bad taste to inadvertently flash someone while fighting). On that note, as it is often quite windy in Connlaoth, she has come up with a rather unique fix to the problem of wind-kicked skirts. Instead of utilizing a dress hoop beneath the outer layers of her skirts, she has instead modified one to fit atop them, essentially keeping her dress from flying up whenever a stray gust takes a blow at it. Unconventional perhaps, but she made it herself and is quite proud of her invention. She also has a habit of wearing boots with high heels to help boost her overall height (though she takes a more modest approach to footwear while on a mission), and her only accessories are generally silk-and-lace umbrellas/fans if it's warm. Beneath all her lady clothes is a body that is surprisingly slender for a Connlaoth woman, but due to her intense training, it has more muscle than soft curves.

Personality
Lucine is harsh and intense. She has her own set of ideals, morals, and views and she will not be swayed from them by anyone or anything. She is very articulate and stern, and thus most people would place her as a fair bit older than she actually is upon first meeting her. However her personality can come across as rather bratty as well, as she is incredibly stubborn and outspoken, often having to get the last word in even when she's lost an argument. She's been known to throw huffy fits and then storm off to brood - though this is when that veneer of maturity often cracks, when nobody is looking, and she cries the tears of sixteen year old girl made to be a soldier.
She strives not to show weakness outwardly, and it is through sheer force of will that she maintains the tough outer shell even in the midst of intense pain and discomfort. Even when all she wants to do is collapse and sob, she will set her jaw and force her way through, too prideful and pig headed to let anyone see her fail. Truly to be made fool of or to make a visible mistake would crush her, and she takes great pains to ensure neither happen. She's made sure to train twice as hard as almost any other female Mordecai in her swordsmanship and shield craft, sacrificing a properly voluptuous young woman's body for one of muscle and strength - she covers the calluses on her hands with soft gloves and the sinew of her limbs with layers of silk and satin.
She is determined to maintain a 'properly ladylike' attire and attitude, even in the midst of soldiers who scoff at the idea, and she will not be made to bow to someone else's expectations of her. Even if she is mocked and harried, she is determined to prove her worth as a proper Mordecai, and indeed those who have met swords with her in the ring often cease their nitpicking after they are knocked on their backsides a few dozen times.

Magic/Abilities
Mordecaism - she has the ability to nullify magic users within her sphere of influence, which is somewhat wider than the average half mile.

Sword and Shield - Lucine spends almost every spare moment training herself in these arts. While her sword is not as long or as heavy as those wielded by men, it is sharp and her skills are formidable. She is more than capable of using her shield for defense as well as offense - something many have found out the hard way.

Relationships
Open! Fellow Mordecai, Nobility who know her family, etc are all free!

History
Lucine grew up in her parent's estate in Uthlyn, the daughter of nobility. She grew up in proper posh opulence, without much of a care aside from what book she wished to pluck from her father's collection that day and what color dress she might wear. Even then she was opinionated, and though she never asked for much from her parents, she was quite firm on importing dresses from outside Connlaoth to wear. The 'immodesty' issue was met with her fashioning women's pants into something similar to pantaloons, and the wind problem was fixed after a fair bit of tinkering with the metal dress hoops. She was always the sort of child that was determined to live life on her own terms, and do it gracefully to boot.
Her mordecaism was discovered by an off duty Mordecai passing through the city, and though the ability is quite rare and prized, her parents were somewhat less than enthusiastic about sending their only child, a daughter no less, off to join the military. Lucine, for her part, saw it as a challenge and something of an honor. Or perhaps it was just the discovery of a purpose that drove her - regardless, she joined the ranks almost immediately.
Some days she wonders if it was worth it, but her pride will not allow her to consider backing out now.
