As the sun rose over Adela castle, the thundering sound of vast beating wings filled the sky, growing rapidly nearer. Ravin Shreckspawn burst through the clouds, spiraling down towards the castle, stream-lined and graceful despite his great size.
At the last moment the dragon slowed up, fanning his mighty wings, and outstretched his four legs to perch on top of the tallest tower. Several large bricks were disodged by the impact of the huge creature's weight.

The dragon wrapped his long tail tightly around the tower, and his curved talons raked deep grooves in the brickwork as he sought balance. He opened his wings wide, casting a great shadow over the castle walls. And then, arching his neck proudly, Ravin parted his fang-filled jaws and uttered a bellowing roar to announce his presence...

Denkou was barely patrolling the castle wall right next to the very tower the Dragon landed on. That was something new. Nothing he would ever expect. Not wasting much time, Denkou leaped towards the tower the dragon is on and shifted into his bestial form, halfway to the tower. Once on the outer wall of the tower, Denkou digs his claws into the bulding and begins to speed up the tower as if he were dashing across flat ground, with his claws to support him.  Once the werewhitetiger reaches the area of the tower nearest the rooftop that is now covered by the dragon, he lunges upward, passed the dragon altogether. Still in midair, he quickly shifts back to his human form and grabs his double scimitar from his back. The second he lands on the dragon's back, he aims one of the bladed ends of his dual-bladed weapon at the dragon's back.
"State your purpose for raiding the Heart of Adela." Denkou demands with little emotion in his voice. It's not always a good thing to be the first on scene.

Vincent had just arrived back at the castle, and far later than he had initially intended. He hadn't meant to stay at the village for as long as he had...but, circumstance and his own annoying affliction forced him to stay the night and regain his strength. But, it wasn't too much of a delay, and he was certain Lykoth wouldn't mind. After all...it was unlikely she would be awake during the midnight hours, anyway, with all the duties that awaited her, duties that demanded rest and good health in order to be fulfilled. The coming week would be full of demands and adjustments, and not just for her, but for everyone in the kingdom, as well.

In any case, it was morning now, and he knew she was an early riser. Perfect timing. Hopefully, his presence had not already been missed.

Approaching the castle gates, he spoke a few brief words to the guards stationed there, and was soon admitted. They knew him well enough. At least, they knew and had been well informed that he was with Lykoth, and had something to do with organizing...whatever it was Lykoth had him organizing. Something to do with the guards, though he was by no means a guard captain, nor did he even hold rank among the guards or soldiers to begin with. Hell, he didn't even look like he did, to begin with...he didn't even look like he should belong in the castle, what with his rugged, casual clothes and a bandana covering the majority of his red hair. The only thing that really showed he was from the same nation as Lykoth was what was visible of his hair, which was braided in a myriad of tiny braids, a fashion that was commonplace and customary of Lykoth's old home.

Starting toward the main entrance of the castle, everything seemed normal enough, nothing out of place...not that he expected it to begin with...

Until, out of the blue, a strange, thundering sound, almost like wind, met his ears. And was soon after followed by a large...thing...that perched on the tallest of the castle's towers...

Vincent's mind immediately shouted "dragon!", but Vincent himself wasn't as quick to believe it. Dragon!? But those things existed in the wildlands...he'd never seen one in his lifeâ€"nevermind that he'd spent most of his life at seaâ€"only heard about them, and...he'd never heard of one coming this close to a human habitation. And, considering the historically bad relationship between the two races, he didn't blame them.

But, no...that roar was far too real to be counted off as some bizarre trick of the mind. The other guards had jumped, too.

And something else seemed to have also been attracted to it, as it was now dashing from the rooftops toward the creature...

Oi. No, this was just getting too weird. Maybe he wasn't quite as recovered as he thought.

Rubbing his temples, he continued on his way toward the castle's entrance.

Great, no wonderful actually. First Morning sickness now a dragon. Who could have asked for more? Well, Tarlaka for one, she could ask for no throwing up and no dragons. But that appeared to be to much for knight, so when she saw the dragon she gave a groan and began to complain like any female knight who was feeling like crap. Tarlaka Opened her now healed black wings and flew up towards the dragon and she held back a blush when she saw Denkou, wonderful, this was getting better by the second.  The winged knight pulled out her sword and held it, her wings beating so she didn't plummet to the ground. She gave a glance at Denkou, he had asked the question, so she would say nothing. But she was ready, just in case Mr.Dragon decided to attack, yay for more missing feathers.

After his bellowing roar, Ravin had shut his jaws with a snap and lowered his head, his long neck weaving this way and that as the dragon sought keenly for any signs of movement on the grounds or around the castle. Ravin had either failed to notice the weretiger sneeking up behind him, or simply failed to care, and it was more likely the latter. But when Denkou jumped onto Ravin's back, the dragon hissed angrily, his extended wings jerking slightly, suggesting surprise. The vicious spines that ran along the length of the huge creature's spine raised up threateningly, and the dragon's great head snapped round to fix his burning red eyes on the small creature that was now shouting boldly at him, a dual-bladed weapon held poised and ready to strike.

Still hissing, Ravin parted his jaws slightly,  thick wisps of smoke wreathing around his long, wet fangs. The dragon was not afraid of the weretiger or his scimitar - the weapon was little more than a toothpick to the huge dragon, and would do him little damage even if it managed to penetrate his thick hide. The dragon seemed simply angered that someone had dared to land on his back and threaten him.
"Raiding I am not." Ravin retorted flatly in his deep, booming voice. "Now off my back, or thee I shall burn."

Then, a movement on the grounds caught the dragon's attention, and Ravin turned his head away from Denkou, his burning gaze briefly flicking to the form of Vincent wandering below, before yet another movement caught the dragon's flawless vision, and he arched his neck back as a winged woman floated up in front of him, brandishing a sword.

"The Queen bring to me. I to see her wish." the dragon said to Tarlaka in his strange, latinised form of speech.

So, this dragon ment to harm. Tarlaka shelthed her sword and gave looked down at the Weretiger.
"Denkou, stand down, but keep him under watch... I'll fetch the Queen"
Tarlaka gave the dragon a nod and gave Denkou one last look, that clearly said, 'do anything to piss off Mr.Dragon you'll have my sword up your ass'. Tarlaka dropped down to the ground and gave a low grunt when she closed her wings and dropped to the ground, her armor give unrythmic clanks as she touched the ground.  Well, at least it seemed he would do no harm. Now, to find that Queen. Tarlaka gave her head a shake and brushed her blue bangs out of her eyes, then gave on last look to the Dragon, he was huge! Tarlaka had never actually run into a dragon before, and running into one in the morning or... whatever time of day it was, was something that she wouldn't forget, at least, not until something more 'exciting' happened. Now to find that Queen. Where the hell would she be? Probably still sleeping, or, out an about, which would be bad, because then Miss.winged knight would have to look for her. Yay.. a game of tag! ... Not.. With one last sigh Tarlaka picked up her walk to a run and began to search... She would go to the queens rooms first.

Denkou didn't comply to the dragon's demand. What is fear or intimidation to the Adelan knight? Even if the massive beast did insist on trying to fry Denkou, he would be in for a surprise. Though, when Tarlaka told Denkou to stand down, he did so. Whether it was through love or the fact that she is his superior, it worked either way. Denkou lept off the dragon's back and landed on a lower tower. He turns back to the dragon to glare up at him with an emotionless face. His bladed weapon was still clenched in his hand, but no longer threateningly. First, the immortal assassin, now a dragon. What's next? (heeheehee... ^_^)

As Tarlaka spoke, Ravin's crimson eyes blinked once, slowly. Then the huge dragon watched silently as the winged woman gracefully swooped down and out of sight.

The dragon shifted his weight idly, dislodging yet more brickwork, before his spiny head once again swung round to glare at Denkou, who by now had leapt off his back.
Ravin's fang-filled jaws parted slightly, and a low, drawn-out growl reverberated from his throat.
"A simple beast, thou thinkest me. But simple I am not. Foolish of thee it would be, to think such things."
