In Eris's room, with the entire cosmos laid out before her, the titaness could not help by watch over the town. La' marri played host to many groups from time to time. The most famous of these being Zero, and Cleara Verdad. Cleara Verdad stopped in the city a few weeks out of every year and with it came much excitement. It was particularly rare for a huge organization such as the warrior religion to be nomadic. And while everyone knew that Zero existed, almost no one could prove such a thing. That day's posters would probably be checked up to a hoax based on the sheer number of recruitment posters. And Eris liked it that way.

However, the titan knew that they had several contracts available. The hard thing was deciding which one the newly formed team should do.

[With my next post I am going to do a time skip to morning. If there is anything else your characters have to do tonight. Let me know and I will belate my post until it is finished.]

For a while Vivianne said nothing and just looked at the "Sky" with an empty look in her eyes, And after some time she looked back down towards Siana.

-"I like the winds here..."

She said with a slight monotone and looked at Siana's reflection on the water, It was as if her mind dragged her off every oppertunity it got. That was not far from the truth as she observed the many winds in this place, the winds allways drew her attention away from things and made her seem so very distant or deep to other people.

Jasper sighed, he thought about how well they would all work together when it came down to it, who would live and who would die. The last team Zero had all died, and he was sure this team would too, though he didn't plan on being a part of any that died.
He continued to wash with some soap before getting out of the water, it was nice but he would enjoy being alone with his thoughts before their mission.

Siana blinked at Vivanne's strange response.
"Great," she cheerily responded through clutched teeth, though the girl-woman's head clearly was not on her shoulders. What a strange place... She pouted at the giant man, who  clearly was ignoring her.
He's no man to me, she thought sullenly.
Siana went back to scrubbing her body vigorously to the rhythm of a war song she hummed herself. She'd keep the stories for another night. Like Jasper, she suspected the fates of the earlier team, but that was the life of those that lived by the sword. She was grateful at least for the person's before her taste. She rose out of the bath, unflinching from any wondering eyes. She dried herself off and dressed in her pants and tunic, carrying the rest in her arms.
"Enjoy your winds, girl," she told Vivanne. To Jasper with a saucy grin, "See you in the morning."

The woman set her things on a chair but laid with her sword. The moment she laid her head on her pillow, she was out, her last thought a mental image of her husband.

Morning came quietly in zero HQ. Even though in the world above it was nearing mid afternoon, the magicked Windows and false skies were just showing the first twingis of dawn. Eris though that she would be nice to this group for now. They had all stayed after all. The titaness began to swirl the flow of magic and lifegiving ether within the HQ, that would rouse the wind reader wherever she was. Eris had already had the Visage Shekinah lay out food in the common area. A choice of bacon and scrambled eggs or oats and assorted fruits.

This of course was not a test of any kind but an act of courtesy, and perhaps a measure of appetite.

Scythe-Nova

Vivianne had spent a long time in the bath after Siana had left her alone in there bet she had just been sitting there thinking about things that did not matter in any way, She had eventually got out and dressed before going to her bedroom seeing that there were two left without an owner she took one randomly and made herself comfortable. In the morning her eyes snapped open as she could virtually feel the magic flowing through the air around her, It made her get up from her bed and dressing herself lightly before making her way towards the common area where the food was set up.

-"... well... i am hungry.."

She mumbled silently to herself before sitting down at the table and digging in on the food, It would show itself that she was quite the glutton as she wolfed down the food in front of her as if her stomach was simply endless. She did not eat too fast but it could be seen on her manner of eating that she was going to keep eating or quite a while.

Jasper rose when he heard rustling of the others rising. He personally had been up for a while, he wasn't one who needed, or enjoyed much sleep.
He excited his room fully armored and axes resting over his shoulder. He could smell the food, and before too long he could see Vivianne eating, and oh wasn't she a sight. He watched her from a distance for a moment, his head turning to the side slightly, it was rather impressive he thought.

The one thing about rooming underground was the inability to tell the time. Siana was used to rising two hours after dawn, so she could only figure that she woke up on time, feeling as fresh as anything. She, too, got dressed and carried her weapons. She followed her nose to the welcoming smells of the dining hall.
"Good morning!" she cheerfully greeted her new companions.
The woman's face lit up at the sight of the array of food. She took a plate of bacon and eggs as well as a bowl full of oats and berries. She was a tall and broad shoulder lady- a large belly warranted a large appetite!

She whistled at the sight of Vivianne.
"We sure the storage ain't gonna run out?" she asked in amusement as she sat down.
she went for the bacon first, closing her eyes in delight.
Bless the gods, even her own mother couldn't beat this cooking!

Zane

"Good morning all" the titaness said with a slight smile. Her eyes were a little bit softer than they were the previous night, it looked as if the nights rest had done her well. "Did you all rest well?"

Eris pulled out several ceramic mugs and passed them out on the table before it's occupants, then they each in turn filled with a hot drink that would most benefit the person who was to drink it. For her, it was a rich and dark hot chocolate.

Scythe-Nova

As she ate she noticed when the others came by seeing their wind drifting closer to her, When Siana complimented her she looked at her with calm eyes and a miniscule blush.

-"Thanks..."

She said quietly before consuming another whole apple before going back to the bread and bacon on the side. And as Eris handed out the mugs Vivianne's eyes drew to them and gave them a curious glance and saw inside her mug was hot chocolate with mint leaves, It was giving of a strong smell of chocolate and mint allmost overpowering the smell of her breakfast.

-"It's a good bed..."

Vivianne replied to Eris question and nodded to herself as if she agreed with herself, She took her mug and took a nice mouthfull of it. Oh it was heavenly for her the taste of the mint married very well with the chocolate, and since it's hot it eased the cooling effect the mint would have in the mouth.

Jasper looked down in his cup as the smell of warm blood filled his senses. He didn't hesitate in taking a big sip out of the cup, the taste sending a chill up his spine. For a few moments he didn't even notice the other people, what was being said, nothing. This was why he didn't indulge himself with blood, but if they were going on there first mission, the extra strength he would receive from the blood couldn't hurt.

Winters-Feather

The moment Siana touched the cup, the smell of strong Adelan coffee filled it to the brim.
"Whoa!" she exclaimed, letting  go.

Magic! Everything was magic.  She looked at her employer, quizzically. That giant of a woman wasn't trying to curse them, was she? Siana munched on her food silently as she examined the others. They didn't seem cursed or poisoned, and the wine from the day before proved true. Siana supposed the food was somehow magicked, too, and she ate enough for an army. Siana reached for the mug and began to sip from it.
Oh, gods, this is amazing, she thought, satisfied.

She humphed at Jasper. Sitting next to him, his cup smelt metallic, and his lips were being stained with red.
"You're a vampire, too?" she teased before turning towards Eris.
"Alright, so what's the plan for today? You have one, don't you? You've fed us nicely, and I appreciate it, but I suspect we've a  hefty job ahead," she said, addressing the elephant in the room.

Zane

The titaness finished off her hot drink and nodded to Siana, "Your right, I hope you all have warm clothes, We have a contract from Hyoite, to hunt down a self proclaimed Arch-Mage, Marshol Gelyoo, and kill him. If what the contractor says is true, this man has been terrorizing small bands of hunters and fishers, cutting off the livelyhood of the Hyoitian Community. If he isn't stopped, Hyoite will die before the end of the season. It is started that he can reduce the living to little more than ice.

"Their offered reward is very minimal, less than a hundred silver septoms, which is to be expected from a poor city such as Hyoite. However, we are taking this job for something the man has on his person. Knowledge of Epic Magics. If the report is truthful, this man has enough latant power to begin an ice age. Whether the target knows this, is unknown." Eris spoke calmly then picked up the last of the bacon, for herself.

"If there aren't any objections, our first order of business is to get to Hyoite."

Scythe-Nova

Vivianne kept on wolfing down her food as she listened to everyone at the table, And when Eris started to talk about work she focused her attention to her. Her expression never changed but looking at her eyes one could see that she was interested, Mostly because she had never been to Hyoite before and as Eris said to have warm clothes she remembered that she did not have such a thing.

-"I don't have any winter clothes..."

She said simply as she looked at Eris with her neutral gaze before looking at the other two at the table for a short moment, She returned her gaze to Eris as if she had asked the titaness something. Vivianne's short form of speech was sometimes hard to understand but if one thought about it for a moment they could discern what she meant by her short statements.

-"...How will we travel?"

She then asked as she looked at Eris now with a slightly curious look in her eyes.

Jasper leaned back heavily in his chair, so much so you could hear the poor piece of furniture groan in protest.
"Do you know if he is human, elf, fae, demi god?" Jasper questions as his mind churned over the man, and how best, at least he could stay alive. The tribal rune markings on his axes left them immune to elemental magic so they would offer up as atleast a bit of protection. As far as the cold, that was something Jasper didn't have to worry about. One touch to his skin one would instantly be able to tell he was as cold as ice himself, if not colder.

Finally he turned to Siana, "Half," He said simply with no explanation.

Winters-Feather

Siana almost spit out her drink at the job description. Hefty job didn't even begin to cover it!
She looked around the table and did some calculations in her head. On her own, she would have never taken upon this task , ever, unless she conceived some way to get close. However, she had a feeling with this crowd, the odds were in her favor. The price was even good- not a lot of coin, to be sure, but she was being boarded, fed, and bathed for free, which is where most of her salary went, anyway. In a way, she was saving big time.
More for wine and whores, she thought, delighted.
The thought of knowledge on epic magics concerned her, but, as she figured, better in her hands than some loony mage. It might come in handy.

"Half."
Siana frowned at Jasper's answer.
"Half?" she repeated, wondering where his mind was at.
Half...
"Half," she muttered. What had she just asked him?   Her eyes trailed over to the cup of blood. She pursed her lips together and nodded in awe.
"Figures," she replied before standing up and stretching.

"I agree with the quiet one," Siana said, waving towards Vivianne. "I need winter clothes, or time to get 'em before we move out. I wouldn't like to be kissed by that one's ice."

Zane

A small amount of air rushed out of the woman's mouth in was could be taken as a laugh trying to escape. "I guess none of you bothered to look in the wardrobes in each of your rooms? Really now, I figured at least some of you would be nosy. As for our target, the report says that he is human. But Elves are often confused for humans, Fae have glamour, and Demi-gods are a wildcard. They can be whatever they want, expect the worst. I will handle the ride, just gather anything you need. Take a dip in the bathhouse, raid the food stores, grab a brew in the tavern above. Meet in the tavern in two hours. See you all soon." With that she turned and made her way to the bathhouse.

Scythe-Nova

Vivianne looked at Eris as she spoke and as she mentioned the wardrobes she remembered that there were magic around them unlike last night, She nodded when the titaness made her statement and got up going towards her room in silence.

-"..."

She arrived in her room and went to the wardrobe and opened it to see that her need of warm clothes was well taken care of, She made some simple choices about what clothes she would use and placed them upon her bed. Vivianne then made her way to the bathhouse as well bringing with her a towel she found in the wardrobe as well.

paganchick

Jasper didn't really care about what resided in his wardrobe. He didn't need the warmth of clothes, he didn't need warmth at all to survive. He was much more durable than humans and elf kind. He was half demon, half vampire, a force to be reckoned with in his own right.
He finished his cup of blood, tipping the cup back and downing the remaining contents in a few large gulps.

He then stood, making his way towards the bath house. Just because he didn't need warmth did not mean he didn't enjoy it. Actually it was quiet the opposite, he enjoyed hot water, it was soothing, something he wasn't going to have the luxury of for at least a couple of weeks he would guess. It didn't take his long legs to carry him into the bath house were he quickly disrobed, clearly showing, once again, he had no shame of his body.

Siana sat back in her chair, satisfied. She humphed and nodded. She got way too cozy with that place- she should have snooped around more. That was what she does! So, after breakfast, she thanked her host, and marched right back to her bedroom.

She threw open the wardrobe doors, and whistled. There was soft wool, not the coarse stuff sh was used to, and fur lined vests with a hood. Siana eagerly changed clothes, though still kept on her  her original gauntlets and pouches. She could dance, she was so happy.
I'm a queen, she thought, proudly, flaunting in front of her mirror.
Just to be sure of her mobility, Siana did some quick exercises. The clothes barely weighed her down, it was like wearing a cloud. The woman shivered.

Magic, she thought, a little concerned. The stuff FELT real- she didn't think it was going to disappear any time soon, but that's what magic did to a person! Still, she was working on a contract, now, so she could only assume this magic was for her benefit... wouldn't make sense to give someone magicked clothes to then just take them away when facing someone they were paid to kill.  It was too her favor... Siana figured she could handle that.

She sat at the edge of her bed, and pulled out a welting stone from one of her pockets. It was important her weapons were in top shape, so that a mere touch would slice the skin. Siana hummed to herself as she worked.
