After that ridiculous excursion into the catacombs beneath the local cemetery and its 'merry' group of inhabitants, Laetitia nearly lost her cool. Luckily, two things happened for her to help make up for that despicable waste of time. One, she was able to get out of there and continue her search for the ring of power as originally planned, and two, she was able to get lunch on the way. Of course, "lunch" consisted of a tasty and terrified young man whose blood was a fortuitous boost to her flagging energy levels as she needed to feed. It had been some time since her last hunt, and she was utterly ravenous for the sweet red drink of life. The vampiress had drunk every last delicious drop of his blood even as his skin got paler and paler with his oncoming death that awaited him with cold, clawed fingers.

Laetitia looked up from the dead body of the man who appeared to have once been Connloathian, which of course didn't matter to her in the slightest. She would have drunk his blood if he were Adelan or Serenian or any other ethnicity. Right now, food was a bit scarce in these parts, these Fell ruins of chaos, so the black-haired blood sucker couldn't afford to be terribly picky. Mouth covered in the sweet red liquid, she licked her lips and fangs, letting out an ahh! in the process.

Smirking down at the pale white corpse, she kicked his body to the side even as she commented out loud. "Thanks for the meal, whelp." Before laughing cruelly, her voice taking on a sort of cackling sound almost like that of a witch's.

Unsheathing her short swords, as the vampire would need them for where she was going, to search for the fabled 'Eclipse of Night' ring which was guarded by an extremely powerful guardian spirit of light. Laetitia scowled at the thought. If the being proved to be too much to handle, she had two options available to her. One was to gather her entire vampiric crew to provide both cover and 'bait' for her, which to Laetitia was the far more desirable of plans. The second option, was to simply give up and forget about it. Leaving the opportunity for some other vampire to acquire it, if possible. No, she would have it and by the very night Laetitia would do everything in her power to try to accomplish this. But it would be far from easy she knew.

Feeling much stronger after the recent meal, Laetitia continued on with more purpose and determination, head held high, her confidence soaring as far as the sky blackened by night's gentle repose. The night was still young, with plenty of darkness to be had for several more hours. And Laetitia would make the most of it. If all went in her favor, she would have the ring and be much more powerful because of it. No longer would the day hinder her, nor would holy power prove a threat anymore either. If all went according to plan, Laetitia would be nearly invincible and little in the way of previous dangers could stop her. She would be a goddess of the night, the Queen of Blood and a terror of both night and day. And it would all be because of said ring. Once it was hers, she would have much to celebrate about. And what better way to do that than go on a mass feeding binge with her whole crew of lackeys? It was the kind of power nearly every vampire dreamed of. Laetitia smiled darkly at the thoughts.

A lone crow flew by overhead, its caw caw caw! sounding loud in her ears as it passed by and disappeared into the distance. But underneath that noise, Laetitia heard the slight sound of footsteps somewhere behind her. They sounded carefully placed, almost like the person or whoever it was, was trying to trail her. The scent of demonic power filled her nostrils and Laetitia scoffed. If this creature thought her an easy target, she would show it how very wrong it was.

Without turning around, the vampire called out to the night air around her. "Who is it that dare follow me? I'll have you know I am not one to be trifled with." she said with an obvious tone of danger to her voice.
