M for, I'm too lazy to add it later, so I do it now. Probably gore, most certainly adult themes since the plot direction ^^

"Lovely," Kurome sighed as she leaned back against a rock, eyes sliding shut momentarily. She wasn't the biggest fan of water, or swimming altogether. Though, there was a creature residing that had caused quite the problems for merchant ships, traders, Cerenis and several other coastal settlements. A soft sigh came from her as the scent of blood filled her nose. She enjoyed the sun quite a lot, it was good for her tan, but the downside was the scent of the blood and guts of the cow she had nailed to a post nearby.

But, if she could scent the blood. So could the monster she tried to lure out. She took another deep breath, slowly drifting off. What was the harm in a little nap? Surely, a creature that caused such problems was by no means subtle or silent. So, as soon as it emerged, she was more than sure it'd be accompanied by a loud roar.

Roughly half an hour later, Kurome's predictions were realized, an ear-splitting roar resounding, shaking the ground underneath them. Kurome yawned slowly and blinked her eyes open lazily, pushing herself up and dusting the sand from her coat with a disgruntled look. "Damn sand gets everywhere," she murmured, ducking under one of the large crab maws. "Well, let's get to work," she sighed, the scythe materializing in her hand.

Without a doubt, it was an absolutely lovely day. Ky had settled himself at the shore at the crack of dawn, and intended to pass the day in relative quiet. He had bypassed the nearby village for the sake of avoiding any curious villagers, so he was totally unaware of the danger posed by any monstrous crustaceans.

It was the third hour of his meditation when he heard a mighty roar pierce the quiet, and immediately, he shot up. The roar was followed by sounds of conflict, the entire disturbance sounding like it had originated a bit further down the beach, past a thin copse of trees that obscured a section of beach.

He ran into the trees, ducking down to get a view of what was happening before he moved in.

Rather than actually making her attack, Kurome was a tad more playful, dusting off her coat with a soft sigh. "You are so slow," she murmured as a maw slammed down towards her.

Sand flew everywhere, the oversized crustacean stopped momentarily to see whether he had reduced the kitsune to a bloody mess. Yet ontop of the enormous pincher stood none other than Kurome, smirking softly.

She turned the scythe around and hooked it in the pincher, before dashing forward, slashing through the arm. While it was difficult to see from Ky's distance, a broad grin sat on her face.

Ky's eyes widened at the size of the creature that this woman was combating. While he did notice that the woman had a fox's tail and ears, those details fell into the category of "not as important" as he watched her fight. Ky considered himself a great warrior, but in the end, all he had was his fists and a sword he'd promised to never kill with, so he took cover, and continued watching the fight.

It was more than obvious the kitsune was toying with the enormous monster, it's claws and attacks failing to connect to Kurome time and time again. And the oversized crab as getting quite annoyed with it as well. A large roar resounded, causing Kurome to sigh softly.

She held the scythe up as she lunged herself in the air, flipping it around to slice the blade through the monster. Splitting it cleanly in two, blood and gore splattering across the beach.
