Honestly, Stellan had no clue where the dog might be. They'd been walking for more than ten minutes and there wasn't any doubt that if he got up somewhere, he could have gone off anywhere. Stellan didn't know what he was thinking, dragging this lump of a woman along with him. He guessed if she had supplies somewhere she might help him with a little, uh, encouragement.
"Look, I don't know!" He admitted loudly and thought for a quick second why was he wasting his time.
At least one good thing came out of this, now he had a gun.
And instead of waiting for her to answer him, he just took her gun and book it in the initial direction he was going, running between the trees until the underbrush grew thicker off the main path. He only hoped her dog wasn't close behind him.
