Hi everyone,

I'm Sarang, but you can also call me Jess. I've been a roleplayer for about 30 years, from pen & paper, over IRC to Email, but it's my first time in a Forum.

English is not my native language, but I have been writing almost exclusively in English for the last 15 years. Still, any typos or grammar mistakes can be collected and turned into a beautiful collage you can put on your wall.

I like all kinds of different genres but many RPs are very strict with the lore, possibilities, skills and such, which often holds me back unless I am really really really into the fandom and so I was thrilled to find a forum that has more creative oriented and less strict.

I hope we can have some fun together and I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Hello Jess! Welcome to SotE!

This place is really great! You can make basically anything you want as long as it doesn't completely break the setting, so the site really lends itself to creative ideas. I know I've gotten away with some pretty strange characters before XD

While you're getting settled in, you might find it helpful to make a Wants & Limits page! Looking forward to seeing you around!

Welcome aboard!

I also just joined the site a few weeks ago, and it's been really great so far. I also know exactly what you mean by finding a place that focuses on creativity. Spirits is definitely allowing me to spread my wings RP-wise and explore different characters and situations.

Another thing, and most importantly, I just saw your character, and I'd love to maybe RP with you at some point!

Welcome to the site! I've been away for a while and came back into the site recently but am always excited to see new members join! Feel free to ask any questions if you got em! And no worries about typos, I'm pretty sure I'm the queen of them!

The Never King- a king erased from history because of his dabblings in dark magic (among other things...) suddenly because a present day problem when an unlikely group of adventurers 'awakens' him from the grave. You can read more about the event on the plotting page here and information page here!

I ran the Connlaothian civil war. For more info, check out it's page here. The war has now turned into a 'Cold War' with it's plotting page found here. It's no longer a huge site wide event but the scars are there.
