'Struth woman!' he grumbled. He did not like the way he had tricked her with his staff. He reachedout and felt for his staff. It had a cloth on it so he held onto it rather than dropping it on the ground.

I know you arent fragile...I just spared you a lot of pain..unless you would like to fall on a couple boulders and razor sharp rocks, I could arrange that.

'No, you just didn't need to help me. I don't want your help.'

Smooth. Real smooth, he thought, now she's gone into sulking again. He turned and went to his own training, focussing on controlling the shape of the fire so it moved in regular patterns and shapes. He didn't quite had the imagination or reason to make anything elaborate. It wasn't like the girl would be watching.

Amber sighed. "Have it your way. I dont really care if you wanted me to help you or not, I did. The truth is, My body moved on it's own." She turned and looked at the shapes he was making with the fire. She tilted her head. "hm..."

((sorry for the short posts ^^;;; Writer's block Strikes Again.))

'Hm, it is good that you have your instincts I guess,' he said. 'Do you wish to join then?'

He made a house then put a blacksmith next to it. The detail inside was poor but the outside looked exactly like how his house looked when he could see. It was how he still pictured the old place. 'I used to live here,' he said. Perhaps if he was friendly she would not be so.. pathetic. Friendly was something that was hard for him to act.

She prodded him playfuly with a paw. "Scince when are you friendly? heh. And...nice home. I never had one. We just slept under the stars and moved where the prey took us...ah, forget the past..the future is more important." She said the rest to herself, "And if I live in the past, I won't have a future."

Randver let the image go and brushed her paw aside. 'Leave off woman, I offered you the chance to train,' he snapped. He heard the woman talk again and calmed down slightly. Why were women so touchy-feely? 'The past is important as the future. If you do not learn from and remember the past it may as well have not happened. The past influences the future.'

Her gaze into the distence hardened, and she sat as straight as a soldier. "I smell an enemy..be prepared...they are hostile, and have the intention to kill. I hate to put you in danger, but excitement is what this place needs. And I know you will probably say you dont need someone to care about you and if you get hurt, but that's my nature..." A feeling she hadent felt scince she had a family stirred inside her. The feeling of wanting to protect, and another...she didnt remember what it was called...it started with an..L? She shook her head and focused back on the world. 'get real, this is a battle..and I cant be feeling that again!! I need be tough to survive in this world!!' She thought. She let out a fierce snarl as the enemy appeared. It was a huge demon.

'I can't sense his hostility but I can sense the fire he gives off. I do not need protecting: I am a soldier of Adela. I will not attack until he angers me.'

Randver got ready to fight anyway. Kitsune's were known for their extra senses, even if they were annoying as hell.

When the demon came close he heard Amber snarl. 'What does he look like?' he asked. He merged all the fireballs he had around the ground and moved tham around the creature to get a better look at it. 'Can you tell what it can do?'

"He is giant, and is covered in fire. A fire demon. He has fangs and horns...and has a giant club in his right hand, with spikes. Oh, and claws... It's attacks...pretty obvious."
She winced as she felt the burn she got earlier.

Fury had just escaped from her bewitched castle. She had just awakened from a sleep that spanned thousands of years, yet she hadnt aged a second. Why she had awoken, she did not know. The dry, cracked, burnt soil that used to be where her castle was turned into some huge forest. 'heh, landscape shure changes tons when you've been asleep for thousands of years', she thought. Her castle had been overgrown, and she had to burn her way out. Shackles with heavy chains still atatched were on her ankles and wrists. Fury wondered why they hadnt rusted, then remembered they were magic. She was in human form, also. As she scanned the now foreign lands that she once knew, she saw a large hill. She sensed 3 creatures there, and walked to the highest point of the hill. "You! Fire demon! Stop bothering them!" The fire demon's eyes widened and it kneeled. "I have been waiting for your return. Orders?" She waved twords her castle and said, "Fix up my domain, and find the others." She turned to the other two creatures. "Now. Who are you two?"

'Greetings demon,' Randver called to the giant fire. 'Leave now and nobody shall be harmed.' He doubted the demon would listen but as a soldier, it was part of his training to give the opponent the chance of surrender.

Randver widened hius stance as he waited for the demon to attack and was glad he did. The hill began to shake and another creature appeared. It was of human shape but its heat was far stronger. He waited as the demon knealt to the newcomer.

Now. Who are you two?

'I am Randver, a soldier of the Adelan army. Who would you be and what is purpose here?'

Amber looked straight at the lady. "I'm Amber." She sat down and her spiked pelt went down.

Fury nodded. "I am Fury. I used to rule these lands, long ago. Everyone has forgotten me, and even my legend has dissapeared into the earth. I was betrayed by one of my followers and put into a sleep that spanned thousands of years. I have awakened and not aged a second."

Anonymous

'I hate to be rude then Queen Fury but you and you're demon are interrupting our training session. I suggest you take this up with the current ruler, or if you wish, I shall escort you to the main city myself.'

He turned his head towards the kitsune. There was less heat coming off her, which meant that she wasn't all jumpy anymore. 'And what was it you wished to do Amber? Will you be able to handle yourself now that you have your new tail?'

Anonymous

Amber closed her eyes and nodded. "yes...i'm fine now."

Fury nodded. "Terribly sorry to interupt. And, I'll deal with the power thing later. May I inquire to what training you are doing? I was once a warrior before I became queen."

Anonymous

'Fire. Amber and I control fire. Her abilities had become unstable,' he turned his head towards Amber's heat. 'It was stupid of you to not have a regime in place if you knew this was going to happen. You will run drills with me so you know for next time.'

He used small fireballs to once again map out the area and trace out the circumference of the hilltop. 'Will you be training with us or shall I escort you to the capital first?'

Anonymous

((I'm not going to say what amber does, because she's just sitting silently.))

Fury nodded. "If it's okay, I would like to train with you...and do you want me to stay in this form, or my normal form?"'

Anonymous

OOC: Okay. Are you sure you don't want them all to train?

'Good,' Randver said. 'Other form? I do not care what form you are in. What aspect do you wish to train first: indurance, control, strength or speed?'

Randver believed there were four major aspects of training. Indurance was how long you could last last. Control was all about accuracy and dexderity. Strength was how large and strong you could push yourself and maintain. Speed was how fast your reaction time was and how long it took to do the moves. Together these aspects came together and aided one another. Without a balanced ability in all four areas, your opponent could easily overcome your weaknesses.
