[center:1cky7ov9]One of the stakes came loose, freeing Philip's left arm. He tore it free of the ground, whipping his arm around to pull others loose. He may not be a big, tasty meal after all. With a kick of his hind legs, the stakes holding his hinds in check were ripped from the turf. There was no time to remove the trailing ropes from his limbs, he was already loping towards the tree.

A sudden burst caused him to skid and side step away, his eyes wide as they set upon the mostrous creature that smelled heavily of blood. It seemed sickeningly familiar yet so alien at the same time. Philip's ears pressed back before he scrambled beneath the tree. He glanced up at Liebe, checking if she was OK.

The chestnut froze as Bax set his eyes on him. Snorting, the chestnut broke and ran, fleeing the scene. He was not being eaten by this thing.[/center:1cky7ov9]

Liebe looked down at Philip then at the horse. What a strange creature yet it was so amazing looking. She glanced back down at Philip, unsure of whether or not she wanted to climb down where she could possibly get attacked by centaurs.

Bax released his current victium and burst forth. He raced after the chestnut and breezed passed Philip without even looking at him.

[sorry bad post]

[center:2yhwi8ol]The centaurs scattered, galloping off in all different directions. The chestnut was scampering as fast as he could, determined to escape the hell horse that chased after him.

Philip watched as the scenes played out, glancing up at Liebe again when felt it safe to look away. He held his hand up to her, gesturing that she could come down. He rared onto his hinds legs, setting his forelegs against the tree so that she wouldn't have to climb so far. He felt protective of her. Perhaps because she was the only who hadn't tried to hurt him in some way? Or maybe because he found her facinating.[/center:2yhwi8ol]

Liebe watched what Philip did and hesitated before slowly climbing back down and to Philip. What an unsusual day this was.. Her eyes moved away from Philip and to watch to see what would happen to that chestnut.

Bax gained up on the young centaur and came up beside him. He snorted and looked over at it. "You're mine." He said before side ramming him in hopes of knocking him down.

[center:io9psfnm]As she came down to him, Philip placed his hands under her arms. Pushing himself away from the trunk of the tree, he took a few steps backwards before easing himself back onto all four hooves. Gently placing Liebe down onto the ground, Philip also looked to see the fate of the chestnut. The young centaur was one of the males he had known during childhood.

The chestnut looked at Bax with wide eyes. The beast could talk. However, it was short lived before he was thrown off his hooves and sent rolling into a hedge-like cluster of bushes.[/center:io9psfnm]

Liebe felt awkward when he held her, but imediately went to watch and see what was to become of the poor Centuar. The fool had it coming.

Bax slowed to a stop and watched the centuar roll off before making his way to the brush. "Hmm, defenseless are we, centuar?" He asked with a crackle of laughter before he smirked. He stopped only a couple feet from the hedge and waited.

[center:2d44lbgc]Philip slowly came to stand behind Liebe, watching the fate of the centaur he had known for a while. It would be a sad thing, despite the constant teasing he recieved.

The chestnut rolled to his side, fighting to stand up again. The branches were clinging to his shaggy coat and tail, restricting his movements. A few moments passed before he did stand again, one hand snatching up a dead branch. If he couldn't get away from the beast, he'd kill it.[/center:2d44lbgc]

Bax saw the male grab up a form of weapon. He snorted and pinned his harks back and screeched out a ear busting cry. Liebe put her hands on here ears and back up into Philip on accident. He finally deseased his cry and snapped at the chestnut.

[center:3d0fhvji]The chestnut burst from the brush, seeking to strike a blow to Bax. His arsm swung downwards, coming back up at a different angle.

Philip flinched at the sound, his sensitive ears ringing in pain. His body tensed as he clamped his hands over his ears, trying to block out the sound of shriek. The thing that brought him back from his pain filled thoughts was the feeling of Liebe backing into his lower chest, causing his eyes to open.[/center:3d0fhvji]

Bax moved out of the way, swung around and kicked out with his hind legs. "Put the stick down." He then repeated to the chestnut what he and his buddies said to Liebe. "Come on, I won't hurt you... much." He smirked and swung back around before coming extra close and reaing up, striking out with both fore feet.

[center:r3ma9r7t]The chestnut was caught in the lower shoulder, being forced to one side. He neighed in pain, going for another wing with his woody club. However, the strike from the beast's hind legs was ebough to throw him the side again, this time colliding with a large tree trunk. A few audible snaps echoed from his lower body, signifying the breaking of ribs.

Philip winced and made a pained face, imagining the pain of what the other centaur was going through. He sub-consciously placed a hand on Liebe's shoulder.[/center:r3ma9r7t]

Liebe stared blankly as she watched the scene, the sound of cracking made her shudder as she remembered bit of her own past. Her right hand rested on her left side. She knew exactly what it was liek to bust a few ribs...

Bax snorted and advanced on the chestnut with jaws gapped. "Your time has reached an end." He growled before lurching forward at the centaur with open jaws of sabored teeth.

[center:1jakkxnw]The centaur clutched painfully at his ribs, breathing deeply and unevenly. He raised his club in defence, however, Bax's jaws hit home. The chestnut's windpipe was crushed in impact, the unfortunate creature suffercating.

Philip's grip tightened noticeably, his ears perking more as the chestnut began to suffercate and writhe on the ground. That could have easily been him or Liebe instead. He shook his head before turning away from the scene, unable to watch the goring ending of life.[/center:1jakkxnw]

Liebe looked at Philip as he turned away and sighed. If only there was a way to comunitcate. She glanced back over only to see the boney remains of what was a fleshy centuar.. Bax was a quick eater. The equine calmly walked toward Philip and Liebe, obviously full with no more risk of killing anyone else. "Hmm, what is a human and centuar doing together?"

Anonymous

[center:2nqhau99]Philip's head came back around, a hand flying up to keep his previous meal from coming up. Sure, he had seen dead centaurs before, but not freshly stripped bones like that. His attention turned back to Bax who had spoken. His ears flicked back, his pulling back into a sneer to show his profound dislike for the equine creature. He may not be able to speak, but he could show. He took a step forward so that he was standing next to Liebe.[/center:2nqhau99]

Bax caught the gesture, being equine himself and stopped walking toward them a took a step back. He then glanced at Liebe, and back at Philip before snorting.

Liebe glanced at Philip and looked back at Bax. He was scarey looking with those fangs.. and.. did he have piercings? How strange. She examined the features of the equine and then tossed back some language to him. "Nothing that your are thinking of."

Anonymous

[center:3lsunonu]Philip glared at the equine like beast. One leg pawed at the ground as his hands were balled into fists. He didn't trust this thing, even if it appeared to be full. Besides, Philip was still pretty big himself and he was sure he could at least wound the beast to an extent. He glanced down at Liebe as she spoke. What did she mean by that?[/center:3lsunonu]

Bax snorted and raised a pierced equine brow, and flicked a pierced ear. "Well then, you humans are that smart aren't you." He snickered a bit and looked at Philip. He decided the best thing to do was to speak in the tounge of a horse. "What's your issue?" He glared slightly and bared his upper teeth.

Anonymous

[center:ti7t566o]Philip bared his teeth back. "You are. You reak of bloody flesh and you ate one of my kind right before me, Monster who takes the form of a horse." His horse language was much more human sounding than a horse, but he could speak it. His tail swished in irritation. There was nothing more he hated than a carnivore taking the form of the cousins to centaurs.[/center:ti7t566o]

Bax glared. "It was not my choosing to be born a carnivoris equine. I am filled, full.. And you should thank me for saving your little human friend. I'm sure she wouldn't have enjoyed the treatment your 'own kind' wuld have given her." He stomped a hind hoof as he threw his head up.

Liebe looked between the two, seeing that she'd never understand them, she walked over and sat against a tree.
