The hot desert sun seemed to be cooking the metals of the craft, glinting and glimmering to any onlooker in the distance. The ship seemed to jut from the sands a great height, her hull scorched black. Markings could be barely made out on the side of the ship. Shattered windows seen blown out, large deck guns still attached to portions of the vessel. This ship offered shade, shelter, and even a home for wayward travelers, whom simply called it the "Great fortress of metal." The front end of the vessel would be the coolest in the hot desert, having been buried in the cool sand underground.

The vessel also surprisingly still had power. At night, a few undamaged lights still shone, illuminating what they had pointed at, the interior was also illuminated to an extent, hallways and even a few rooms were lit up, as the Reactor was still hot. Ammunition caches, everything, an ideal place for someone to pillage, if they understood the weaponry that was contained within, enough weapons to arm a small militia cell. A few scrubbery would be seen growing from deposits of soil in the creases of the vessel. But it seemed to be a large, dead, shell of a ship.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! "

Ric was running in the sand, trying her best not to sink like a rock abandoning the shell of her cannonball spell. Her furry feet where already hurting because of the warm sand, her arms where burning and her hair felt like it was on fire. Frustration over the lack of moisture to conjure up water and the distant rumbling of an empty belly only made the situation increasingly frustrating.

Eventually, after hours on stumbling, cursing and anguish she saw something in the distance, a rock formation of some kind or maybe even a city. In retrospect she cared not what it was, shadow and cover from the sun lured her towards it like moth to flame.

A huge oddly shaped mountain of metal awaited, disappointment seemed to be on the menu a lot these days. Just the thought of menu made her stomach rumble and filled her dry mouth with saliva, wasting what water she had left. The only comfort within this nightmare was the shade provided by the large metal formation.

However it didn't have the basic shape of an ore, there was no rock. This metal bore with it signs that it had been forged by someone; the strange thing was that it had no magic signature.
There was something to respect about people that could make such large structures if only she could find the entrance.

A levitation spell got her up on the melting hot deck, not intending to touch the warm metal she floated past it and into a window leading into the structure away from the searing heat.
Wiping the blood that ran from her nose, she would have to be careful or suffer the consequences of magic abuse while under pressure and fatigue. Confronting a locked segment of the wall obviously a door she realised that it would be hard to conserve what little energy she had left, especially considering that fact that no one answered her knocking. Not knowing the strength of the metal there was only one option.

A few seconds later, imperial dagger, a dark energy blade made out of anti matter magic cut the door to shreds. Any attempts at shouting while moving along where hard because of the dryness in her throat.

The sound of the metal rend asunder, the sheer wail of it's fragments hitting metal woke the soldier from his slumber, having been in the lap of luxury in the core of the vessel, Air-Conditioning blowing on him and having been enjoying an ice cold glass of water, of course, all was set aside as he woke up, grasping his rifle he looked around the brightly lit room. A few inner-portions of the ship were still intact. But to conserve power he had only powered essential functions of the ship, Standing up he keyed the door and with a hiss it opened up to reveal darkened halls, flipping on a flashlight he began to scan the halls. "Something broke in and through the blast doors... but what.." He muttered as he keyed the door shut behind him.

The interior of the ship would definitely be a sight, painted signs on the walls, what used to be LCD terminals, and various control panels.

Hurried footsteps clanked on the metal flooring of the ship as Ichiro ran through the halls, his flashlight illuminating and reflecting off the cool metal surface. Making his way through the ship's halls he would be determined to find the source of the break in. Seeing the sundered door he would shake his head. "Great... something got in.." He then would make his way through the halls once more. "I need to get to the Bridge and lock the ship down.." He muttered as he keyed open another door, looking inside as the scorching sunlight illuminated the room, he had reached the bridge.

Finally he would approach a Computer terminal, keying the controls a whir would be heard, the screen booting up then displaying the OS. Keying in a few commands, wherever Ric would be, she would see something strange happening, bright white fluorescent lights coming on and brightly lighting the halls, air also began to circulate, and wall terminals sprang to life as the ship activated.

(OOC: Sorry for the delay, life calls. )

Sudden bright light blinded Ric forcing her to stop and wait until her eyes had adjusted. Hopefully there would be a friendly encounter from the residents of this ship. Scratching her head confounded that nothing of the blinking stuff made any attempts to communicate with her. The cold air was so soothing, compared with the outdoor sand and sun theme.

There was no magic at work here, it didn't take a genius to see that everything here was man made. Some dimensions had machines and large buildings, this may be something from those realms. Darkness wrapped around her again, a chilling embrace even with the cold air ventilated around her. <Make sense of this for me.> commanding it while letting the cold darkness embrace her, its malice melting with into her persona as the aura became a dark silk cloak.

Ric opened her eyes again the darkness feeding on her tiredness giving her the illusion that everything was fine its energies renewing every ounce of her body, removing the dryness of her throat and the hunger from an empty belly.
Sending out waves like sonar. Darkness gathered information on the surroundings latching onto the lights and machinery like octopus arms sending her mental images of people in weird suits running.

Dead men, most of their spirits had departed but some had desperately hung on, something about accident and wormhole. Hungrily it sucked out the remains of their souls as fuel, the cost of using the darkness that had taken root within her.

These people actually travelled from planets using giant metal constructs. Entering the shattered mind of soul residue wouldn't give a complete picture but it gave her direction in the confusion.
According to the souls everyone died during some accident but there would still be fresh water and food available within the cantina. Adopting that fast paced militant walk to march off in that direction.

(Np. I like slow posting alot more than fast paced posting. just take your time and think your posts trough ;) )

Men in suits running, fires, and an uncontrolled re-entry into the planet's atmosphere, and something about Hyperspace through a sun. The white pristine halls in the visions were a stark contrast to the wrecked halls of this crashed ship. However, she was being watched, Ichiro would be standing around a corner watching Ric as she made her way to the Cantina. Shaking his head he started after stealthily like a soldier would. Finally, Ichiro would shout. "You! Freeze!" He barked before cocking his weapon, chambering a 7.25mm HVAPFSDS (High-Velocity Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discard Sabot) Bullet. Pointing his rifle towards the figure as he shouted some more, a flashlight shining on her. "You, State your business now!" He barked, somewhat nervous, one soldier versus this being, this thing trawling through his ship, bearing careful aim. Watching. Trepidation was a foul adversary, as it creeped it's way up the soldier's spine. Flashlight and weapon set and aimed, as he waited for compliance or a response.

The dark passenger in Ric's head chuckeled lightly as it let illusions of the collected soul residue play images of its newly claimed souls within the darkgreen aura. Hungrily it wanted to latch onto its newly found fresh victim who had his soul intact calling its previous meal breadcrumbs for pidgeons with unsatisfied mental roar's.

In the wake of conflicting desires they struggeled against each others, not by force but with empty promises for future meals. It didnt take long before the shadow retreated into its host overwhelming Ric with the previous hunger and thirst, followed by premenstrual agony.

Gripped by fatigue much resembling lactic acid her back rocked backwards into a slow fall leaning her into the wall. She gazed upon the man nochalantly suddenly noticing his fear.

"Am i that scary, Officer? " she finally managed to croak out. To tired to be fazed by the fact that her rather eventfull life could end here.
