Ellis is quick-witted with a dry sense of humor. He's also a meticulous planner, and somewhat haughty for it. Most of all Ellis enjoys beauty, luxury, and style.

Its his obsession with aesthetics, and dissatisfaction with the world as it is, that fuels Ellis' alchemical talent.

On principle Ellis has a deep loathing for Connlaothians and tends to look on non-mages with disdain.


Magic/Abilities
Ellis is a talented alchemist. Given the proper reagents he can produce potions strong as any spells, and numerous curatives and poisons.

Years spent studying alchemy, and exotic fauna and flora, have given Ellis passable survival skills. He can bind a wound and survive in the wilderness.

A quick-wit, good looks, and fine-tutors have made Ellis quite the charmer.

History
Ellis is the scion of a small, yet very old, family of Serendipity. He grew up on a tiny ramshackle estate and was envious of children with prettier homes and less eccentric families. As a boy Ellis was bent on becoming mage-knight, but hated military life. His temperament proved more suited to magical research and he settled into that life nicely.

Fueled by a perfectionist nature he sees magic as a way to smooth the rough edges of the world.
