The Esoteric Order of Salem

1. Organization Name
The Esoteric Order of Salem, but this name is known only to its followers.
2. Objective
The Order was founded by the followers of a god named Salem. Salem is an obscure and weak god compared to all the others, but still wields magnificent power. Salem is a champion of purity and humanity, and The Order was incepted to carry out his will. The Order's ultimate goal is to rid the world of anything that isn't pure human, and are indiscriminate in who they target and how they are destroyed.
3. Who may join?
Only humans who have decided to be the pious and stalwart defenders of humanity and its purity in this world of tolerance towards the filth that threatens to pollute it may join, and there are many trials associated with entry. Those who enter must have it in their hearts and souls to purge these lands, whether it involves burning down a poorhouse in an elven quarter, or securing the economic downfall of a prominent individual that supports non-human endeavors with his money.
4. Organization Location
The Esoteric Order of Salem has a grand castle-monastery in the ThunderBlack mountains, where the holy power of their faith and the relics interred within the monastery protect it from the dragons that circle the area and any non-humans that wish to enter. Any non-humans that approach the area without the blessing of Salem (a blessing only given to non-humans if they are being brought in for interrogation) fall into fits and writhe in agony.
5. Current Members and Ranks
Unless there is a character's name written next to the rank, it is open for the taking. Anybody wishing to be Imperator Excelsus or a Magnii will have to send an application to me via PM.

6A. General Equipment

Most generic Order members are equipped like this:

6B. Position-specific equipment
Venatores: All Venators are given vampire, werewolf, and witch-hunting equipment, along with a sword.
Sicarii: Sicarii are given whatever they need to complete their tasks
Expositors: being the instigators, Expositors are given plenty of gold for bribes and are trained on how to start riots and raise anti-nonhuman sentiment
Iudices: Iudices are trained in the holy laws of Salem and how to pass judgement over humans who aid non-humans. They are also given spiffy white hats.
7. Additional Information
This is a serious organization, with a serious goal. It is not recommended for Goofball characters or peacey-lovey types.
