River landed with a soft thud as he fell through the portal. He got up and dusted himself off and fluttered his wings to make sure they weren't damaged. River looked up at the sky and saw a bird flying, it seemed to be getting larger. "Well that's strange." River muttered to himself. He then realized that the bird wasn't getting larger, it was getting closer. It was getting really close.
"Ballocks." River thought in realization. He then waited until the bird got close and he shot himself straight up and took flight, sending the bird crashing in the dirt. "Ha ha, don't mess with the River if you can't swim upstream!" He shouted at his attacker. Apparently, his predator heard this, turned around at flew after River. "My big mouth." River sighed. The chase went on for about an hour, then River saw a small pond. River then turned around stuck his tongue out at the bird and stopped flying.
River plummeted about 7 feet before hitting the water. As River landed in the pond he felt his energy replenish, and his heart rate slow down as he drew in oxygen from the water. A plan started forming in his head. As the bird landed to investigate, River could barely contain his laugh as he waited for the bird to fall into his trap. When the bird got as close as possible to the water, River let out a large guffaw as he shot the bird with a larger geyser of H2O.
River arose from the water, his white hair glistening, yelling a battle cry of triumph. He looked around, "I guess this is as good a place as any to set up a shelter." He confirmed. By the end of the day, River had completed, not a shelter, but a large lodge (Relative to his size), a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a nice living room with a relaxing fire place. River, sprawled out on his bed asleep, was awakened by loud foot steps. "Who is that?" He thought to himself.
Lukas approached a river and examined the water. It seemed safe to drink. He knelt down, cupped his hands, scooped up some water, and drank. He needed a place to rest and this was as good a place as any. It was right next to a river too, so he could wash himself, his clothes, and have a source of clean water. He set down his backpack and sat down beside the river.
River sensed water being tampered with. "There is a disturbance in the force." He said to himself. River got out of bed put on one of his navy blue robes and flew out of the door. About 5 minutes later he had gotten to the location of the disturbance. River saw a man sitting by a stream. By River's standards he was a giant. "Hey!, fe fi fo fum, stop messin' with the water!" He yelled at the man.
Well, it HAD been peaceful.
"I'll do whatever I want with the damn water. I don't see your name on it," Lukas shot back.
He came for some peace and quiet, and now there was some water-loving lunatic yelling at him.
River blood began to boil, and so did the water, turning the gentle stream into a moving hot spring. "Piss off you ungrateful little twat!" River yelled sending a giant org of searing hot water crashing over Lukas' head. He may have been 6 inches tall but River could down a bear with a thought so some guy wouldn't really be a problem. But this wasn't just some guy, he had managed to survive River's attack, which wouldn't be possible for a human. "Just what are you?" River asked the stranger.
"I am not one to be trifled with," Lukas replied. "Don't even try your little party tricks. You know you can't harm anyone in the Meeting Place."
Of course Lukas knew that the protection only applied to those who weren't armed, but maybe this guy didn't know that. For a little guy he had quite the temper. He had nearly boiled the river away. With any luck, he would soon leave.
River contemplated on what he should do "This guy knows more about this place that I do, I should probably buddy up with him." He thought to himself. "Okay, let's make a deal, I provide you with food and shelter and in exchange you tell me everything you know of this place." River bargained.
"I already have everything I need," Lukas replied. "And how could you live here and know nothing about it?"
Lukas was skeptical now. Was this a trick? How did someone not know about the Meeting Place, especially when they live there? Then again, being an ex-angel, he did know things that others wouldn't. He would just have to talk to this guy some more and find out, unfortunately. He hated talking to people.
"Alright you brought this on yourself." River said raising his hand to the sky, suddenly the sky got cloudy, and it started hailing. "Start messing with the water again if you change your mind." River said smugly.
"How about I piss in the water, small fry? What would you say to that?"
So, he wanted to play hardball. Very well then. Game on.
"Alright then I don't usually use this but you've proven to be a complete douche." River said annoyed. He conducted the water with his hands and it encased Lukas and froze, leaving him trapped, then mire water came out of the river and turned into hands, emptying the contents of Lukas' bag into the river and they were swept away by the current. "Later." River said triumphantly as he flew off.
"This is supposed to be a peaceful place you little bastard," Lukas called after him.
Now all his stuff was gone. To make things worse, he still had his sword and knife, so the protective powers of the Meeting Place would not free him. He would squash that thing if he wasn't in the Meeting Place. Lukas sighed. He would just have to wait for the ice to melt. Good thing he was immortal and had plenty of time.
River knew that the man would cave eventually, so he got to work on a log cabin. He hummed as he worked. About 12 hours later he finally finished. "I guess I should go check on him." River thought aloud. When he got there he was surprised at the state of the ice. The man didn't even make an effort. "Hey, you." River said sarcastically as he thickened the ice in his trap. "So how's it going?" He continued in his sarcastic tone. "What's your name anyway?" He asked flying to the top of the ice and sitting on it.
"You really just thickened the ice back up? What is wrong with you? What could you possibly gain by keeping me here? I have nothing for you. You threw all of my stuff in the river. Who goes and throws a poor man's hard-earned possessions into a river?"
"Well you have information, information I need if I'm going to survive out here." River explained. "And I offered you salvation but you said, and I quote, "How about I piss in the water, small fry? What would you say to that?", so this is your fault prick." River stated.
"You're kidding right? It's literally impossible to not survive in the Meeting Place. It's the safest place you could possibly be. However, since you're so bent on prolonging your life, here's a tip: don't attack strangers. I honestly don't know why you thought that freezing me would get you answers. I have nowhere to be, I have no commitments, I have nothing. You aren't depriving me of anything by keeping me here. Keep me frozen all you like, you'll die before I do. I've already lived for 125 years, and have plenty more to go."
"You provoked me." River started. "Whatever, I came to this place by accident anyway, I'm only 15 so how the hell should I know? Anyway, I'm moving you closer to my house, it's getting boring flying here." River explained lifting the ice into the air and making it hover to his lodge. He then made it rain so Lukas' prison wouldn't melt. "Talk to you later man." He yawned flying back into his house.
OOC: I hope our characters don't have such a rivalry in The Kingdom of Vlazdovistok. :P
Lukas sighed.
"I still don't get the point of this," he called after him. "What exactly is this supposed to accomplish besides waste time?"
The rain muffled Lukas' shouting so River was able to get some sleep, he dreamed of pretty girls and food. "That's it!" River thought deviously. As the sun crept over the horizon River darted out of the bed in search of attractive women and delicious food. He came back a 20 year old woman who's name was apparently Diane, and a turkey. Diane was still convinced that River was playing a sprite game with her when they reached his lodge. "Now this man is very sad, and very lonely, he is also a twat, and I need you to cheer him up." River asked Diane as he took her blind fold off. When Diane looked like she was about to refuse, River pulled off a level of cuteness equivalent to a dog and a cat eating a cheese burger together on the lap of an angel surrounded by babies.
"O-okay I guess." Diane said as River clenched his fist in triumph.
Lukas sighed.
"Kid, you need friends, a hobby, and common. Miss, I'm too old for you, but while you're here can you get this kid to let me go? He's been holding me against my will because I drank from a river that's not even his."
KLANK! The woman fell to the floor unconscious. "Okay that might be borderline psychotic." River said. "Yeah, this is bad, okay I'll let you go if you help me move her body back to her camp." River said.
"I'm going to have to," Lukas said. "You wouldn't be able to carry her."
"Okay." River blew at the ice and it fell to pieces. "Alright lift on three." He said as the small snow golem he created got ready to lift.
Lukas stood and cracked just about every joint on his body. He had gotten really stiff stuck in that ice. He then went over to the woman and picked her up by himself.
"So, where'd you get her from?"
"A camp about half a mile from here." River replied flying up to Lukas' shoulder and taking a seat. "So since we're accomplices now, we should probably learn each other's names, I'm River." He clarified.
"Half a mile? Damnit, kid."
Lukas sighed.
"I'm Lukas, and I am not a mount. Now, which way is the camp?"
"Just keep going straight until you reach the lake, then go left." River explained taking flight again. "And sorry about keeping you imprisoned and all, I don't do well in stressful situations." He apologized. "Also, how come I could hit her with that ice, and that boiling water did nothing to you?" River asked.
"This is the Meeting Place. Its magics protect those within its borders. Its meant to be a safe zone, set apart from the rest of the world. The boiling water did nothing because it would have done harm. The ice worked because it did not cause harm."
"But I was able to hit that woman over the head, why was that possible?" River questioned, making some water dance around his hand.
"I don't know. Maybe because it didn't kill her, but that doesn't mean you can just go around knocking people out."
They got to the lake River had mentioned and Lukas set the woman down.
"The river empties out here. Maybe I can find my stuff."
He waded into the water and started searching.
River sighed and reached his hand out toward the water, and a bubble rose up containing all of Lukas' things. "Oh thank you River for being so awesome and getting me my stuff back." River said mimicking Lukas' voice. "Oh, no problem Lukas. and I totally for give you for being a jerk before." River replied to himself.
Lukas merely grunted as he collected his things. He then picked the woman back up and started walking toward her camp.
"I sound nothing like that."
"Riight." River said rolling his eyes. "Anyway, what brought you to.. this place." River asked with a lack of words.
"I was looking for a nice peaceful spot to relax for awhile," Lukas replied. "Look how that turned out."
"Okay, I'n hindsight, I may have made some rash decisions but, I apologized, we made up and you now have a nice home and food, so I believe the risk was worth the reward." River stated.
"I don't have a home," Lukas said. "I just wander. Settling down isn't my style."
"Not your style, or you always push people away, because you're scared to be close to people, because your ashamed." River said creating a blazer and pipe out of ice.
"Maybe I'm just not a people person," Lukas shot back. "Not everyone in this world is a social butterfly."
"I'm not a butterfly, I'm a water sprite, if anything, I'd be a bee." River replied pointing to his white bee-like wings. "And if I was a butterfly I'd be the most beautiful Goddamn butterfly you've ever seen."
"Don't you have a home or parents to go to? Or are you going to keep trailing me like a lost puppy?"
"Oh would you like to explain to her worrying boyfriend that some magical sprite managed to capture you, knocked out a woman, and is ever-so-slightly unstable, because I don't think he'll believe that, he's gonna think you drugged his girl and shagged her whilst she slept. So if you wanna go alone go right ahead." River said.
"I've bested worst things than pissed off boyfriends. I was a soldier at one point, a damn good one too."
"Is-is that what you're gonna tell him? I shagged your girlfriend but it's okay because I was a soldier." River asked sarcastically.
"I'm going to tell him that his girlfriend was kidnapped by a pixie, but I rescued her. I would then inform him that if he touches me I'll remove his arm. This sword isn't just for show."
"Yeah I totally just saved your girlfriend from and evil pixie." River said mimicking Lukas' voice. "Can you hear how ridiculous that sounds?" River asked.
"It is ridiculous, but it's also what you did. It's not my fault you thought you could torment me so easily with some woman."
"You would've succumbed your primitive desires, either that or you would've wanked in front of a girl which isn't very polite." River said.
"What do you take me for? I am beyond the primitive desires of man. You on the other hand need discipline, a lot of discipline."
"Yeah, I'm not really into that kind of stuff and, I'm 15, but It's cool. In no way am I juding your sexual preference." River replied.
"What do you mean my sexual preference," Lukas asked angrily. "Are you insinuating that I'm a homosexual?"
"I dunno man, you have that creepy look on your face and you also compared me to a butterfly. All I'm saying is that I don't judge." River explained slightly raising his hands.
Lukas snatched River out of the air and pinned him against a tree.
"I'll have you know that I loved a woman more than you could ever imagine, you little brat. And I compared you to a butterfly because I could easily squash you like the insect you are!"
Lukas then threw River to the ground and continued walking. He needed to calm down before something bad happened like what happened last time he got like this.
"Okay, okay, wait a minute, before you said you've lived over 125 years, what the hell are you?" River asked.
"I'm an angel, alright. I'm an angel sent into exile because I messed up. I lost my powers, my rank, my halo, my men, everything. All I've got left are wings and this sword. You happy now?"
"Wait you've got wings? And you've been fappin around walking places, we would've been there by now!" River yelled "But nooo I'm so sad and depressed and too much of a bummer to fly anywhere." River mimicked in a sulky version of Lukas' voice.
"How stupid and immature can you be? Have you any idea how disgraceful it is to be banished? I was captain of the guard. I was one of the best soldiers in the entire army. I was all set to...."
Lukas's voice trailed off.
"Maybe I just don't want people to know what I am. Now leave me alone, you insipid little snob. I have to get this woman home."
"Whatever man." River muttered as he turned around and headed home.
Peace at last. Lukas had no problem finding the camp. He left the woman at the edge of the camp so that she would wake up and the camp would be right next to her. He then began wandering through the woods again, looking for a place to relax.
River let out a large yawn as he got home it was nearing night fall so he decided to take a bath in the lake. Using his abilities to heat it up he stripped and entered the warm waters. He sank to the bottom. "It's no my fault he screwed up." He thought as he drifted to sleep under the warm water.
Lukas stared into the fire he had made while he dried his things. He was alone again. His thoughts drifted back to the time before his banishment. He had had it all. Life had been good. Everything had come to an end in one day. All it took was an exceptionally rude human and a very angry Lukas. They were all so disappointed in him. The look on her face had been the worst. Her look of fear and disbelief of what Lukas had just done. Lukas sighed. What was wrong with him? Why was he so different?
River dreamt of his old village. Children were playing in the yard as River read a book by the stream. A ball flew and hit River in the head, the children laughed. River picked up the ball and placed it at his side. A kid approached his "Hey, give us our ball back!" The child yelled.
"I'll pass." River said defiantly turning a page in his book.
"I said, give uss urr bwralll bacccscs." The child slurred as he turned into a giant black monster made of a strange goo. River woke up and swam to the top of the lake.
"Trippy." He murmured getting dressed.
Lukas awoke from another sleepless night. It seems that dreams had also been taken from him. He didn't smell too good after carrying some woman half a mile yesterday. He needed to bathe. He walked down to a nearby river and made sure it wasn't the same one as yesterday. Taking a look around to make sure no one was around, he stripped down and got in the water. The cool water was very refreshing. Lukas took another look around to be absolutely sure that he was alone. Convinced that he was alone, Lukas let his wings out. He stretched them out to full length. They used to be so vibrant and white, but now they were black as night, a reminder of his shame and disgrace. It was one of the reasons he kept them hidden. He hid them not only from others, but from himself as well, because of what they now symbolized. Still, it felt good to stretch his wings. He hadn't flown with them in a long time, but he wasn't going to try. He didn't want to be seen. He sat in the water and relaxed, hoping that no one would show up.
River, once again, sensed something impure entering the water. "Might as well see who it is." River said putting on one of his robes and walking over to the lake. He looked at his reflection, then tapped the surface of the water causing ripples. his reflection then turned into an view of the river Lukas was bathing in. "Oh god I did not need to see that!." River yelled the reflection of himself in the river shielded his eyes.
Lukas was snapped out of his relaxed stupor after he heard a voice shouting. He looked around, but he didn't see anyone. He quickly got out of the river, hid his wings, and put his clothes back on. He also made a point to strap his sword back on as well. It was a nice intimidation factor. Lukas stopped and listened. He didn't hear anything. Did the person leave?
"Dude what the hell man, there is a family of ducks that bathes in that river. Is that what your into now, showin' your pernis to a bunch of baby ducks?" River asked disgusted.
"Can't a man even bathe in peace," Lukas asked angrily. "And were you spying on me?! I should break you in two for that!"
It's not my fault, you got kicked out of heaven, you're branded as impure, anything impure enters the water I have to go check it out it's sprite law." River explained.
"I'm so glad you're here to tell me things I didn't know," Lukas said sarcastically.
Lukas got to work packing up his things.
"Now if you're done creeping on me, I need to be on my way."
He didn't have anywhere to go, but he just wanted to get away from that sprite. He had no privacy with him flying around.
"I know someone who can help you." River stated as Logan walked off.
Lukas stopped and turned around.
"Do you even know what banishment means? It means I can't go back. I've lost, I'm through, It's over. I can never go back home again! Understand?!"
Lukas sighed heavily. He was getting all worked up again.
"No one can help me, kid," he said calmly this time. "I just want to find some reason to keep breathing."
"I never said I could get you back into heaven, I know someone ho can get your purity back I just need you to answer these two questions honsetly." River explained
"Purity can't be regained. You can't erase the past. How are a couple of questions going to help anyway?"
"Just listen, okay question one, have you ever had sex with a piece of fruit, question two was it a melon." River asked.
"What? Why would I have sex witj fruit? I've never even had sex before. What kinda questions are those?"
"Are you sure, you look like a right melon shagger." River laughed.
"That's it!"
Lukas drew his sword, the blade igniting as soon as it left the scabbard, and pointed it at River.
"If you have nothing useful to say, then leave me be while you can still speak."
"Is that what you use to cut holes in the melon, I bet that flame keeps 'em nice and warm." River teased. "Ugh, oh yeah." He said pelvic thrusting rapidly.
Lukas charged River and swung his sword.
"I've suffered too much to have to deal with you!"
The sword hit the water and the flame was extinguished. "I'm just a reflection man, talk me later when you don't have an anger boner and your ready to apologized to all those melons you defiled." River said jokingly as his reflection dissipated.
The sword instantly re-ignited, the blade unable to be extinguished. Lukas sheathed his sword and started walking.
"Stupid kid," he mumbled.
"Melon Facker!" River's reflection yelled after him before it completely dissipated.
"If this wasn't the Meeting Place I'd kill that little bastard," Lukas muttered to himself.
He didn't know where to go now. That little creep would undoubtedly follow him wherever he went, so it probably didn't matter where he went. He sat down under a tree and pulled an apple out of his backpack. Breakfast time.
The morning dew on a leaf held River's reflection. "I was gonna apologize but now I know that I'm right." He snickered over Lukas' head.
"All you are is just some stupid kid lost in the woods," Lukas replied. "You have no discipline, no respect, and you barely qualify as an intelligent lifeform. The only reason you're here is because your parents wisely dumped you here so that they wouldn't be associated with you. That's what I would have done."
"Wow, y-yeah your totally right, I'm just some annoying little prick no one wants." River muttered. "I'll go now, sorry about callin' you a melon facker." River apologized as the dew dropped to the floor.
Lukas ignored the apology and just started eating his apple. He had to get out of the Meeting Place. He was going to go insane if he stayed much longer.
River sat on his bed, he was depressed. He knew what Lukas said about him was right, River never really belonged with the other people in his village, he was always the freak. He was the one who was born with some weird power, a power that made him hated.
OOC: I think River just turned emo X(
It's funny the things you miss when you're lost in thought, such as a really, really steep hill. All Lukas knew was that one moment he was walking, and the next, the ground disappeared and he was tumbling down a hill. In case that wasn't enough, rocks and tree roots were there to keep things exciting. If THAT weren't enough, he did not have the magical protection of the Meeting Place because he was armed. Lukas was not feeling too great when he hit the bottom. He was covered in scrapes and bruises, and his left arm wasn't feeling to good. It still worked, but it hurt like hell. Lukas decided to just lay there awhile until some of the pain subsided.
River heard a loud crash. "No, nope, I'm not going over there." He commanded himself.
Lukas managed to pick himself up after much struggling and groaning. He was pretty sure he had a concussion, and the left side of his head felt wet. He would have to clean his wound, but he would have to find a body of water in order to do so, and that ran the risk of running into him again. He was an angel, he would be fine. Lukas took one step and ended up back on the ground. He was not an angel anymore, and he was not okay. He couldn't just lay there, but he didn't have much choice. He would try again in a few minutes.
River decided to take his mind off things by adding a new addition to his lodge. He decided to build a pool. He used hid powers to bring water from the lake. He created a team of Snow Golem workers and supplied them with ice tools. By sunset they were finished. Instead of making them dissipate like he normally did, he decided to keep them around, they made good company. River then learned that since the golems were technically alive, the protective power of the Meeting place protected them from melting in the warp pool water. River spent the rest of the night hanging out with his new snow friends
Lukas knew that he couldn't just stay where he was any longer. He needed to get these wounds cleaned or risk infection, if it wasn't already too late. He picked himself up off the ground and started limping. It was getting dark. Lukas drew his sword so that the flaming blade would provide him with light. He eventually came upon a small lake. Surely this was far enough away to not be included in that sprites territory. He stuck his sword in the ground for a continuous source of light and stepped into the lake. He removed his shirt, but nothing more, just in case. He had many cuts, scrapes, and bruises on him, and he got to work cleaning himself off. He was covered in blood and dirt.
River felt a disturbance, but it was to feint for him to really care. He was too busy trying to improve his golems. "Well for a start, you guys should be able to talk." River said, he snapped his fingers and the golems grew mouths.
"Ahh that's so much better." one of the 3 said.
"What took you so long?" Asked another. The other one stayed silent.
"Did I mess up on that one?" River asked the two.
"Nahh, he's always that silent." The other confiirmed.
"Always?" River asked, as he had never made the golems talk before.
"We golems share a telepathic connection due to the magic in the snow we are made from." On explained.
"Okay it's getting hard to tell the difference here, can you get some color coded hats or something?" River asked. The three went out side in search of things that would set them apart.
Lukas finished cleaning himself up and got out of the water. He felt a little better, but was still incredibly sore. He retrieved his sword and started walking. He didn't know where he was going, but he was going. He heard rustling in the brush and froze. It was getting closer. He sheathed his sword and hid. Emerging from the undergrowth came...a snow golem? Lukas stepped forward.
"Shouldn't you be melting?"
"Shouldn't you have a shirt on?" The golem asked, getting some red berries and squeezing them over his head, making it look like he had crimson hair.
"I just washed it. It needs to dry," Lukas replied. "What are you doing?"
"I'm havin' a nice stroll through the woods." He replied sarcastically. "Come on mate, you know this, that lady River knocked out." The golem recalled.
"What about that lady? You're not one of that little runt's golems, are you?"
"Noo, I'm just some other magical snow golem." He said sarcastically.
"Yup, you are definitely one of his," Lukas said.
He turned to walk away, but stepped on his leg wrong and fell.
"Damnit," he exclaimed clutching his leg. "Stupid hills."
"Alright mate, see you later." The golem replied walking back to the lodge.
(OOC I'm running out of things to say. I'm not sure how much longer I can keep milking this. :P )

Sheilas wandered through the forest, the young Akridian spotted a shirtless man covered in wounds clutching his legs. She rushed to the mans side. "Do you need any help?" She asked, her elf ears twitching slightly.
Lukas had just started standing back up when someone came out of nowhere and startled him, causing him to topple back over. Toppling over was bad enough, but the fact that it was a woman and he was shirtless amplified the embarrassment. Lukas quickly put his shirt back on.
"You startled me," he said simply.
"Sorry, I tend to have that effect on people." Sheilas apologized. She helped him up. "Hi, I'm Sheilas, but you can call me Sheils." She introduced.
"I'll stick with Sheilas," Lukas replied. "My name is Lukas. "What brings you out here?"
"Adventure!" She yelled striking a pose. "Things get boring in the hive when you're immortal."
River was waking up from a nice nap as his three snowy companions returned, one had some red berry juice in his head, another had on glasses and a , while the third had some yellow berries for eyes. "Well, that helped alot, so what are your names?" River asked.
"Well I'm Teal." The one with glasses started. "The one to my left is Mayus, and the one to my right is Whisper Dan." Teal stated.
"Cool, cool cool cool." River replied putting on one of his robes. "The sun is rising, I'm gonna go look for food to plant, you guys, umm, patrol the waters." River said.
Pheonix was walking around lost. She stumbled upon a strange log cabin with a large swimming pool. Maybe they could help her find her way out of this place. She walked up to the door and knocked loudly. Hopefully whoever lived there wouldn't be intimidated by her leather and metal spiked armor and her dual chained blades strapped to her back.

"Adventure huh," Lukas replied. "I've been wandering around for years, and adventure is hardly the word I would use. And immortality makes it even less exciting."
River was flying over head when he noticed some one at his door. "May I help you?" He asked flying downward.
"Oh my gosh you are so cute!!" Pheonix said immediately blushing and looking down at her feet. She inwardly cursed her impulsivity.
"I was looking for so.eone to help me get unlost... If thats even a word..." She mumbled extremely shy after embarrassing herself.
"Well frankly, I don't even know where I am, I fell out a portal and was chased by a bird, I just ended up here." River explained. "Your welcome to stay here as long as you like, I'm River and you van call me cute all you want" he chuckled
"Oh. thank you." she mumbled. "I'll set up a camp in the trees. Were you going somewhere? Cause if you need help I can go with you." She said. There goes my impusive side again she thought. She started blushing, her cheeks flaming. Literally. Her entire face started flaming.
"Well, I was running low on food so I was going out to look for.." River noticed that the woman's face was on fire, he calmly controlled some water from the pool and put out the flames. "So I'm guessing, novice pyromancer?" He estemated.
"You're immortal too, you don't look like an Akrid, so what are you?" Sheilas asked.
"I'm just one of the many lost souls in this world," Lukas replied.
He looked Sheilas up and down. She was one of the more attractive women he has seen in his long life, but he had seen many throughout his long life. This one seemed somehow different though.
"You don't look like an akrid either."
"Okay one, why are you undressing me with your eyes, two, you don't know much about akrids do you?" She replied
"Well... I'm actually an expert dark mage and pyromancer... As well as being a bad-ass dragon rider in the Adela military... My fire sometimes corresponds with my emotions if im not paying attention..." She admitted even more embarrased. It was a ametuer mistake. She needed to pay more attention. "Sorry... Can i come with you to help?"
"I was not undressing you with my eyes," Lukas told her. "It was a visual evaluation to ascertain the validity of your claim to being an akrid. You just look like an elf to me, not like any of the akrids I've met before."
"Well being a giant reptilian insect isn't very princess like, so the Royal families can shape change, it's limited to elves because if I turned into a 180 year old human I'd be dead." Shelias explained. "And I'm also much sexier than the other akrid females." she added.
"What emotion was that?" River asked.
"I don't doubt that," Lukas replied. "It appears you are also the most humble. So, a princess. What would a princess be doing going adventuring, and without any sort of royal guards no less."
"Ummmm. Wasn't it obvious? Blushing usually means someones embarrassed." Maybe he was just socially incompetent. "Are we gonna go?" She said grinning at him.
"It's boring in the hive." Sheilas replied "I told father that and he said." Sheilas replies clearing her throat, "If you want to leave then fine, but don't come back until you find a mate so I can die already." She said in a deep voice. "So, yeah." She said blatantly.
"Well, it's hard to guess when you have no shame." River replied as he flew over to the woman and sat on her shoulder.
"A mate, huh? Then I suggest traveling abroad. You won't find many people in the Meeting Place."
Lukas took a step forward and instantly winced and had to support himself on a nearby tree. He took a deep.
"Ouch," he said casually.
Although it was pretty clear that there were plenty of other words that he had wanted to use.
"I dunno, you're here." She said coyly taking a step towards Lukas.
"I know where I am," Lukas replied. "I've been just about everywhere, but it seems like I'll be here awhile. What's your point?"
"What do you mean have no shame? Did i do something wrong?" Pheonix frowned worried she'd done something to upset him. She looked down to her shoulder as she spoke.
Sheilas laughed. "I was making an innuendo." She explained
"I mean I literally have no shame, look watch." River flew down to her chest, "Boop." he said as he poked her breast. His expression didn't change, not one shade of red came to his cheeks. "See, no shame."
"I'm not used to innuendoes...or laughter," Lukas said. "I travel alone mostly."
"That is no shame i guess... And that's kind of a personal area so can you stay away from there..." She stated turning even redder. "Well... What do you eat anyway? Are you vegetarian or something? I don't want to offend you if i hunt some deer or something."
"Naa, I'm not a vegan or anything, I just don't eat fish." River said as he sat on he shoulder again. "Mush!" He yelled playfully.
Sheilas sighed. "How thick is this guy?" She thought. "I'm trying to seduce you." She said blatantly.
"Believe me when I tell you there are plenty of better candidates out there. I don't think you want an impoverished washed-up hobo as a mate."
"Well.." She said changing into akrid form. "Then you won't be able to stop me from eating you." She said the 10 feet tall reptilian insect amazon like warrior towering over Lukas.
"Now THAT looks more like an akrid," Lukas said calmly. "But being washed up does not equal being a pushover."
Lukas drew is sword, the blade igniting as it always did when drawn.
"I liked you better as an elf to be honest."
Sheilas cut down a group of trees behind Lukas making them topple over so she could see what this immortal could do.
"Well, you're clearly not one of those activists who oppose deforestation," Lukas commented.
His still did not hold hid sword at the ready, but kept it at his side.
"If you wanted to kill me I'm sure you would have done it by now. Trying to procure pieces of the puzzle are you?"
"you could say that" Shelias replied returning to elf form.
"Why does everyone start swinging at me right away when they want answers?"
Lukas sheathed his sword.
"No one talks anymore. The mortals are all to busy killing each other like animals to reason with each other."
"Pfft, anyway, I'm mating with you, that's final." She stated.
"You are definitely a woman who knows what she wants, but I must decline. I understand how hard it must be finding a man that's not too young for you, but you don't want me polluting your reputation and gene pool."
Lukas had finally encountered something he never had before. This was going to be interesting. He didn't know if there was even a way out. She was a giant bug after all.
"Yeah, it's not up to you anymore." She said grabbing Lukas' wrist and dragging him along. "I saw a log cabin this way, that's where we're going." She explained
"Ow! Hey! I fell down a damn hill. Take it easy on an old man."
He didn't like where this was going, and he couldn't put up much of a fight in his condition. There had to be some way out. Hopefully the cabin was really far away so that he would have time to think.
Unluckily for Lukas, it wasn't they spent all of 5 minutes walking to the cabin. As soon as they were inside she threw Lukas into the bed and................ (Fade to black). The sun was setting and Sheilas was just starting to wake up. "Now that wan't so bad was it?" She asked.
"Well, it would have been a bit more enjoyable if you hadn't TIED ME TO THE DAMN BED YOU CRAZY BITCH! What part of 'no' don't you understand?! Did you want to go home THAT badly, because now I sure can't! Not that I could in the first place."
Sheilas started crying. "I just, wanted to *sniff*.." She interrupted herself with more crying.
"Ok then lets head out. Which direction are we going to go?" She asked. "Lets go this way!" Pheonix flew towards the edge of the forest her feet encased in a cloud of darkness, proppelling her along. "Saves more energy this way." She explained.
"You.. are.. awesome, random question, do you know any permanent growth spells? I may have promised a couple kids in my village that I was gonna turn into a giant and stomp on them." River asked amazed.
Lukas noticed that she was crying, but he wasn't done.
"Sexual purity was the last bit of purity that I had left! First murder and now sex out of wedlock! All my chances of going home are out the window! Well, I hope you're happy that you can go home now and make your father happy! I'm going back to the hill I fell down to look for the stuff that fell out of my bag!"
Lukas got up and redressed himself. He may have seemed angry on the outside, and he was, but he was also very sad. He had already had someone in mind with which to have his first time with, and now even that was gone.
"Well... I know a healing spell. It might possibly work but i wouldn't risk it. It might just make you really fat... And you probably wouldn't want that." She said laughing as they glided through the forest. She chuckled imagining him that way.
"Yeah, that would be bad." He said also chuckling at the thought, suddenly, one of his snow golem's walked in front of River and the woman he was traveling with.
Sheilas rolled around nude in bed, situations like this were very irksome, if she was to win Lukas' favor she would have to think of something quick. An idea hit, she got dressed quickly and went after Lukas.
Lukas didn't get very far before he had to stop and think. Where was that hill again? But as he tried to remember where the hill was, his thoughts drifted backed to Sheilas. All she had wanted was to be able to go home again. Lukas of all people knew what that feeling was like, but he had yelled at her for it. He started feeling guilty. Guilty? Why should he feel guilty? He was raped by some stranger he met in the woods. And yet, he knew where she was coming from. Lukas sighed and leaned up against a nearby tree. This world was too complicated.
Sheilas was walking when she saw Lukas "Lukas!" She yelled running after him, she then pulled up her shirt to epose her breasts and she pounced on him, putting his face right in between them. "I missed you." She said in his ear.
Poor Lukas had not been expecting Sheilas to come flying through the air. Not only was he unprepared, his wounds were not yet fully healed. Lukas was knocked to the ground as pain shot up his leg. He had felt guilty. Now he just thought she was nuts.
"What the hell was that," he asked, his face contorted with pain.
"A boob tackle, she explained, oh crap that's right you're still hurting." She said sitting up. She took a stick off the floor and cut her arm with it, a glowing orange liquid seeping out of the wound.
"You're damn right I'm still hurting," Lukas grunted as he sat up. "And now you're bleeding. Orange?"
"It's thermal energy." She explained forcing the cut over Lukas' mouth "The ultimate medicine." she added
"Whoa whoa whoa, wait. You want me to drink your blood? I'm not a vampire."
"Just drink it, it's not blood, it'll heal you." She prodded.
"It's coming out of your arm. How is it not blood? And how can I trust you after you just raped me? I am capable of healing on my own over time."
Lukas got to his feet using a tree to help him up. Which way was that hill again?
Sheilas tackled him again. "You aren't going anywhere until you feel better!" She commanded. Some thermal energy that was still seeping out her arm dropped to the floor, a huge flower sprouted up. "See?! Now drink it!" She putting her arm over Lukas' mouth.
Lukas threw her off and drew his knife.
"That's enough," he said getting to his feet. "Is the word 'no' such a foreign concept to you? I want to live out the rest of my miserable immortal life in peace. Why won't you let me?"
"Because you deserve better than that.." She muttered. "You deserve t be royalty, you deserve a second chance." She continued. "But you don't think so, I'm sorry for sexually assaulting you, I'll go now." She said getting up and walking off.
"Second chance," Lukas muttered. "What a bunch of crap."
He looked around. Where the hell was he? Was the hill that way? Was it that way? Lukas sighed. He could always just go find new stuff, but he needed to clean himself up first. He smelled like sex.
Lukas kept walking until he found a river. How many rivers did this place have? He looked around. He seemed to be alone, but how long would that last. Maybe if he was quick no one would get there in time to see. He quickly undressed and got in the water. He started cleaning himself up, especially his groin area, and even let out his wings so he could let them stretch. So far so good.
"Dick." She muttered to her self. She stomped away. She decided that she'd have to go cut down some tree to blow off some steam.
Lukas successfully finished bathing without being caught. It was a miracle. Lukas couldn't explain it, but he felt empowered. As he was re-dressing himself, he paused when he had everything but his shirt on. A thought had occurred to him. It would be a lot easier to find that hill from the air. It would also give his injured legs a break and allow them to recover. Lukas tied his shirt around his waist and took off. It was a little awkward at first, but he soon got the hang of it. He had missed flying. He could see everything from up here.

An ice monster appeared in front of them with out warning. Pheonix pulled the darkness magic around her instinctively hiding them from view. "What is that thing? And how is it not melting?" Pheonix whispered to River.
"It's cool it's cool, he's one of mine." River ensured. He hopped off Pheonix's shoulder and walked up to his snowy companion. "What is it Teal?" River asked.
"It's Lukas, he's flying." Teal replied. River's expression turned to one of malice.
"Go look for seeds with Teal." River said. "I'v got business to take care of.
"What's so bad about someone flying? And I'm coming with you. You can't stop me, you'll find I'm a very stubborn person." Pheonix said, starting to follow River. "I can take care of myself if that's what your worried about."
"Nothings wrong with the flying its the person who's flying. And you don't have wings, and there aren't any dragons around here, so how are you going to fly?" He asked.
"Maybe you don't know this but an accomplished fire or darkness mage can fly using either. And i happen to be a master of both." She said huffily, starting to over 5 feet from the ground in a cloud of darkness. "Well. Lets get going."
"Okay then, lets race." He said shooting 30 feet into the air in mere seconds. "If you can keep up." He said smugly.
(OOC: I've run out of things to say, your character's loner personality makes it kinda hard to write.)
"I guess im gonna have to use my fire..." She said, summoning a fireball around herself and rocketing away after River, slowly gaining on him
(OOC Yeah. He's very rough around the edges. Didn't you say you were going to level some trees? That would be very noticeable from the sky. And who knows what will happen when River and friend catch Lukas. Stuff will happen. Very soon probably.)
OOC: Salida just wait till we catch up to him and then we can have a fight or chat. And seriously... You raped th guy. Hes going to be hostil to you. ;)

River and Phoenix were flying for over an hour until they found Lukas. "Knock him out quick!" River yelled at Phoenix.
Lukas had completely forgotten about his lost things. The feeling of air rushing through his air, across his wings, and over his chest and stomach was very invigorating. As he flew, he could have sworn he heard something behind him. He looked back and saw River, and he brought a friend. Lukas's good mood was suddenly ruined. Lukas turned around, hovered in place, and drew his sword.
"I've been through enough these past couple days you little imp," he called to River. "Turn around before I show you what 80 years of soldiery feels like!"
"Quick woman throw some fruit at him! He will be compelled to defile it!" River yelled, arming himself with an ice sword and a small hammer.
"You think you can fight me with those children's toys? That's insulting."
Lukas flew straight at River. Now that River was armed, he could cleave him in two. He flew up to River at high speed and began his barrage of well-practiced strikes.
River dodged the attacks, it wasn't that much of a challenge he was a quick little guy. "Your aim seems a bit off, too tired from shaggin' those fruits?" River asked sarcastically.
"You're the runt who doesn't have the balls to hit back," Lukas countered.
River may have been smaller, but Lukas had been trained in aerial combat, giving him the advantage. River's weapons were also a lot smaller, so Lukas also had longer reach. Lukas was pleased. The fight was in his element now.
River was quick, but he was out of his element he looked down to see a large lake. He stopped flying and free fell into the water. Once he landed he shot up a large boiling hot geyser.
This was stupid. She wasn't about to fight someone she didn't even know about. It just looked like a petty squabble. She flew in between them and spread her arms. A gigantic wall of dark flame (Combination of fire and darkness) exploded inbetween them, seperating them. "All right, Will someone tell me whats going on here. Why am I supposed to be fighting him?"
Lukas easily dodged the geyser. He was about to taunt River again when River's companion showed up demanding answers.
"That THING kept me frozen solid for about 10 hours, insulted my honor, and needs to learn what happens when you act like a little bitch! Now get out of my way or share his fate!"
"Yeah, well this twat got kicked outta heaven for banging melons, and he killed over a hundred fish!" River yelled back. "He also said some very hurtful things, knocked a girl unconscious, shagged her, and then blamed it all on me!" He added.
"You knocked her out you little prick! I had to take her home! Get back up here so I can cut you in two!"
"Really, a seven inch tall sprite knocked out a woman five times his size?" He said with extreme sarcasm."I think the melon juice is going to your head." Man he added on.
"I'm gonna take your head clean off!"
Lukas knocked Phoenix aside and went straight for River. He knew River had a trick up his sleeve, but Lukas had one of his own.
As soon as Lukas got close enough, he trapped Lukas in another ice cage. "And back to where the problem began." River said as Lukas' ice prison floated in the water. "Did you miss it?" He asked ingenuously.
"Not at all," Lukas replied slyly.
Just then, then flames on his sword intensified, allowing Lukas to break free from his prison. He then took off and strafed the lake, dragging his sword through the water. Any water that contacted the sword vaporized instantly. Lukas made it to the other side of the lake and smiled.
"How many passes do you think I'll have to make before the whole thing dries up? Then what will you do? It must be horrible not being able to fight without water as your crutch."
"Ohhhh, dick move man." River pointed out. "You see this." River said holding his fingers less than an inch apart. "That's how close you were to beating me." He said. "And this." he continued putting his fingers closer together. "Is the size of your pride." He said. "And, you know what? It's also the size of your dick, weird how things line up like that right?" River mocked.
"That's rich. The poor little baby can't fight so he's gone to petty insults. If you're too pathetic to fight, then I declare myself the winner and you will forever be a coward."
"Okay dude, whatever makes you feel better." River replied. River then decided to use his very last trick. He directed his hands at Lukas and then moved them down, forcing the blood inside Lukas to move downward, taking Lukas down with it. "I could reverse your blood flow right now, the feeling of all that blood clogging up your heart, your immortal right? You would have to live through all of that, or I could stop blood from flowing to your brain, turn you into a vegetable, which would you prefer?" River asked cynically.
"You think I fear death? You think I honestly believe that you'll kill me? You just want me to beg for mercy in order to inflate your already oversized ego. I've seen it all before. So tell me, where are your threats now?"
(OOC I think we got a bit too carried away and took off without our other two companions, Donkey. Poor Phoenix never got a say in this whole fight. :P Maybe we could have an admin delete everything up until Lukas threatens Phoenix? I feel bad for leaving them behind like we did.)
(OOC: I'm fine. My character is probably just floating there watching this... Being amazed at how strange your characters are. :) )
Pheonix floated there watching all this take place. Wow they were like a group of kids... Wildly dangerous, murderous, and magical kids, but kids none the less. "Are you both serious... What are you even fighting over. You, handsome dark winged guy. You have too much "honor" and to short a temper. AND YOU! River are you serious... He was flying along minding his own business, in fact he was leaving the area, when you decided to go try to beat him up, for no good reason other than your enmity! I can't believe this. You guys can kill each other for all I care. I'm ashamed of you River, and you too, person. You're just like kids. Get a grip on yourselves!... Now... You're going to shake hands and apologize too each other... BEFORE I GET ANGRY!"
River muttered a stream of curse words under his breath as he released Lukas. "I'm going home." He stated flying backwards. On his way back to his lodge he noticed a girl crying around a few leveled trees. "What's the matter?" River asked flying down to her side.
Lukas took to the air as soon as he was released and squared off with Phoenix.
"Who are you to give me orders? You're probably just another whore that River was going to try and tempt me with."
Pheonix had started to turn away to follow River when the man called out to her. "First of all if I was going to seduce you I wouldn't be wearing spiked armor. Second, people aren't that desperate to do it with you. You aren't that attractive. And why would River want to give you a whore... Granted it's probably the only person you could get. And now I'm leaving before I lose my temper and start a gigantic forest fire. Bye!" Pheonix flew away quickly as her entire body burst into flames from her anger. She had just been trying to help them. And he thought she was a whore? What was wrong whith him.
"I'm not finished with you whelp!"
It wasn't the fact that Phoenix had said only whores would be with him, it was that he translated that to mean that any woman he had been with was a whore, including who would have been his wife had he not been exiled.
"How dare you call the woman I love a whore! Come and face me! Hopefully you'll fight better than that child who tried before! Or are you just some silly girl who's in way over her head?"
It was at times like these where Lukas was most dangerous. His temper was out of control, and anything that was said could be taken as an insult to him or a loved one.
After Sheilas explained what had happened to her River was livid, the air turned dry as River boiled the moister away with his anger. He flew back to Phoenix and Lukas like a jet. "YOU BASTARD!" River yelled as he formed a sword twice the size of Lukas. "YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST GO AROUND RAPING GIRLS 'CAUSE YOU'VE GOT NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE!?" He screamed as he slashed Lukas on the back with his large sword.
(OOC Whoa there. She didn't post anything.)
OOC: Sali was Lazy.. she told me what she had planned :P
(OOC Um....ok then. You wouldn't mind sharing that with me would you)
River's yelling made the incoming attack very obvious. Lukas spun just in time to see the largest sword he had ever seen come right at him. Lukas stopped flapping his wings and dropped, the sword swinging over his head. He spread his wings once more and caught himself.
"What are you talking about? I never raped anyone! I might be exiled, but I still have morals!"
OOC: Sali just said that Sheilas lied about who raped who
"YEAH RIGHT! THEN WHY IS THERE A DEFLOWERED GIRL CRYING IN THE WOODS RIGHT NOW? DOES THERE HAPPEN TO BE ANOTHER LUKAS WHO IS AN EXILED ANGEL?!" River yelled back, lengthening his sword to make sure he didn't miss again.
"That 'girl' is an akrid! She raped me! How does she even know I'm an angel? And how are you able to hold a sword that large?"
"Oh my gosh. Are we doing this again?" Pheonix exclaimed. "Oh well." Pheonix puled out her dual chain blades and around one of them she put a cloak of darkness and on the othert one of fire. She swung both of them at Lukas holding them in the center of the chain.
"MAGIC BITCH!" River yelled at Lukas, swinging his sword again.
Lukas dodged the next swing with the same ease he had the first.
"Big weapons move quite slow and are awfully easy to avoid," Lukas said. "Now stop trying to kill me! I haven't even done anything!"
"LIAR!" River yelled as he threw his sword in the air and it turned into a thousand daggers, causing a rain of knives.
Pheonix was flying behind Lukas about to attack when a rain of ice knifes shot through the air at lukas, and her since she was behind him. Two of the knives shot through the air hitting Pheonix in the chest and then the leg, causeing sputrs of blood to squelch out as she fell unconcious towards the ground..
"Craaap, crap crap crap crap crap." River said as he created a platform of ice under Phoenix. "I'll deal with you later." River snapped as he flew down to the plat form and treated her wounds. He glared one last time at Lukas as they floated off back to River's lodge.
Lukas finally had time to breathe. He sheathed his sword and landed. Flying was fun and all, but sometimes you just need some nice solid ground beneath your feet. Sheilas had lied to River, and River wanted to kill him. So much for peace. Lukas sat down on the ground.
"Why does all this crap only happen to me," he mumbled.
Pheonix woke groggily in Rivers lodge. "You know... if you weren't so small I would have already tried to kiss you." she mumbled still disorientated. Realizing what she had said her cheeks lit on fire, bringing her back to conciousness completely, and with it the pains of her wounds.
River stuck his tongue out playfully as he continued to treat Phoenix's wounds. He used his abilities to clot up the blood on the surface of her wound quickly creating large scabs. Making sure to be gentle around her chest as he had learned earlier, was a personal area. He slowed her heart rate down a bit to put her back under. "This is gonna hurt a bit." River informed as he got ready to pull a shard of ice out of the back of her leg. He stopped the blood from flowing from the knee down to keep her from bleeding out. He yanked out the shard with tremendous force. Luckily, that was the only one.
Sheilas wandered through the woods until she once again found Lukas "Hey there, you miss me?" She asked coyly leaning against a tree.
Lukas sprung to his feet and turned around.
"You! Why the hell did you lie to him? You know damn well who raped who! He wants to kill me now! You've got some messed up ideas about courtship."
Sheilas shrugged. "Anyway, you are all beaten up, you can't wash your wounds and you're supply less. I have the solution to all those problems." Sheilas said holding out a leather pouch on her middle and index finger that contained all of Lukas' belongings. "You just have to do a few things for me first." She clarified.
"What kinds of things," Lukas asked suspiciously.
While he still didn't trust Sheilas, he needed to get away from here. River had gone mad, and was a threat to everyone and everything. Almost anything was better than sticking around. Almost anything.
Pheonix glanced over at her armor. It had a hole gouged in it from the knife. "That shouldn't have pierced my armor. It should have bounced off. How hard are those things?" Pheonix asked River.
"Things to be discussed later." Shelias replied in a convoluted manner walking towards Lukas.
Lukas took a step back and put his hand on his sword.
"Things to be discussed now, or there will be a nice little patch of flowers where you're standing."
"Well, I believe you are aware of my intentions." She replied continuing to walk forward.
Lukas drew his sword and pointed it at Sheilas.
"I told you to stop. Haven't you defiled me enough, woman? All I ever wanted was some relaxation, and now I have some psychotic sprite who wants me dead and a giant bug who wants me to provide her with offspring. I'm really starting to lose my mind, and that's when I'm most dangerous."
"I enjoy dangerous." Sheilas replied, pushing the blade away and taking a few more steps forward until their faces were only inches apart.
Sheilas was now way to close for comfort. Lukas wanted to strike, to push her away, but couldn't. Why couldn't he. Is it because she is unarmed? Is it because she is a woman? Now morals and logic were at war. Kill the giant bug, or spare the unarmed woman. Lukas took a step back. He didn't like this.
"Aww, now you are starting to hurt my feelings." Sheilas pouted crossing her arms.
"I'll hurt a lot more than that if you try anything," Lukas replied sounding less sure than before.
"You don't sound to sure about that." Sheilas replied with a grin. "Think you are putting on an act to hide your exitement."
"Excitement is hardly the word I would use. I'm just not too keen on harming an unarmed woman, but that doesn't mean I won't."
"Oh really? She said sarcastically pulling his sword up to her throat. "Do it then"
"I don't have a reason to at the moment."
Lukas didn't know what she was up to, but it wasn't sitting right with him. He could kill her now and end all his troubles. Then again, River already thought that he had raped her. If he killed her too, that would really send River over the edge.
"Okay then, and, you never really answered my question earlier, so, what'll it be?" Sheilas asked.
"It's just magic infused water, nothing that special." River replied
"You already got what you wanted. What more do you want from me?"
"Well, I guess you'll have to find out." Sheilas whispered into his ear.
"Merchant must have ripped me off. Dang it. I payed a lot for that." She said lying back down.

"What's that armor made of anyway?" River asked covering the wound on Phoenix's leg with ice.
"Its supposed to be mithrail, the hardest metal in the world. But its probably plastic.. I should have checked first. And stop that i have my own healing magic. it comes with the dark magic, amazingly enough.".
"Okay." River said raising his hands to signify that he was backing off.
"I don't make blind deals," Lukas told her pushing Sheilas back a bit. "You tell me the terms, or the answer is definitely no."
(OOC: thanks i can be a bit forgetful at times. :D )
A pinkish light flowed from her wounds bathing the room in a cacophony of light. A few seconds later Pheonix was gasping and pale, but without even a scar. "Im not a master of this. Its just an unwritten rule that it is harder to heal yourself than someone else." She explained gasping and sweating.
River shielded his eyes when the light came. When the glow faded he saw Phoenix pale and breathing hard. "Are you okay?" River asked with heavy concerned.
"With healing someone else, a lot of the time you either tak other wound or it uses energy. Or a combination of both with you taking on a smaller version of the wound. Since i healed myself it took away a lot of my energy since there was no wound i could take. Understand?" Pheonix asked, her breathing steadying.
"I get it, so, you need anything, food? Water?" River asked still slightly concerned.
"You have any fire? thats much better than food. Theres more energy." She replied. She hoped he didnt ask why she couldnt eat her own fire. She didnt feel lik explaining that that was like eating your own waste.
(OOC: She's like Natsu. XD)
"Sure, I'll get you some." River replied without question. He grabbed some fire wood and some flints, he then lit the wood and handed it to Phoenix.
Sheilas sighed. "I believe we've been over this, I left, I can't come back without a prince, I gotta produce offspring, yahdda yahdda yahdda." She said annoyed she had to repeat herself. "You really just ruined the moment." She complained.
"That wouldn't be the first thing I've ruined," Lukas said sadly.
He weighed his options. If he stayed, he would have to face River and Phoenix. Had he still been an angel he could have easily beaten them both, but since he was stripped of his powers when he was exiled, he didn't stand a chance. If he went with Sheilas, he would have to marry her and make offspring, but he would have somewhere to live and wouldn't be killed. Probably.
Lukas sighed. There was no way out of this, so he had to choose the lesser of two evils.
"Fine," he said sheathing his sword. "I'll come with you."
"Smart choice." she whispered into his ear. She then grabbed his hand and started to lead him somewhere. "Hurry up." She said playfully.
Lukas didn't have a choice but to hurry up as Sheilas dragged him along. He remained constantly on the lookout in case River should return.
"Where are we going exactly?"
"To celebrate." Sheilas replied with a mischievous grin as the log cabin that they had been in earlier came into sight.
Not this again, Lukas thought as he saw the cabin. He should have seen it coming. After all, it's what she was after this whole time. Hopefully she won't tie him to the bed this time.
As the pair entered the log cabin insted of forcing Lukas onto the bed, she stipped down and laid in the bed waiting for Lukas to join her. "Well, get on with it." She insisted.
Lukas sighed. At least he was safe from River and friend. Lukas drew in his wings so they wouldn't get in the way, stripped, and unenthusiasticly climbed into the bed. This was what he chose. Now he would have to live with it.
Fade to black..
The sun was rising, and Sheilas with it. "Okay, now was this time so bad?" Sheilas asked cuddling up with Lukas.
"The lack of rope was a nice change of pace," Lukas replied.
Sheilas was cuddling him, but he didn't cuddle her back. As far as he was concerned, this was business. He was safe, and in exchange he had to provide her with offspring. Weird half angel half akrid offspring, but offspring. Lukas wiped the sleep from his eyes. He wasn't used to sleeping in an actual bed, let alone with another person. But he did have to admit, he had slept very well.
"Did you enjoy it?" she asked clambering on top of Lukas and resting her head on his chest.
"It beats being killed by a bloodthirsty little sprite and his friend."
In all honesty, Lukas had. He had never felt anything like it before, and not being tied up this time WAS a huge improvement. However, he couldn't admit that to her.
"Wanna go again before we head out?" She asked playfully trailing her fingers across his bare chest.
"Do I even have a choice?"
"Yes, I'm actually giving you a choice this time, but you can't lie to me, promise?" She stated.
"If that's the case then we better get moving. We're burning daylight, and the longer we wait the greater chance of River finding me."
Sheilas pouted. "Okay then, I'm gonna go wash up, I'll bring some water back for you." She said, taking caution to River's sixth sense.
Lukas sat on the edge of the bed. Was this it? Lukas, Captain of the Guard and General, was now an akrid fertilizer. Why couldn't he have just let it go? Why did he let his anger get the best of him? If he was still an angel he could have been second in command by now, but he was here, in a log cabin, having sex with a stranger in order to save his life. Lukas sighed. What has happened to him?
Sheilas was washing up in a river, her mind drifted to Lukas. The way he had yelled at her before, what Sheilas was doing was wrong, but she had chosen to ignore it up until now. She felt, disgusting and guilty. She finished washing up and got dressed. She took a couple buckets of water back with her as she had said. She walked into the cabin again. "It-It's okay if you don't want to come with me..' She started. "I don't wanna force you to do something you don't wanna do, I'll go back on my own, you can stay here or do whatever." She stated, her voice covered in guilt.
"Where did the sudden change og my come from?"
It seemed that guilt did have an effect on everyone. Still, if he did leave, where would he go.
"I have nowhere to go," Lukas explained. "If I leave, there will be nothing for me. Although I'm still not sure whether or not it's a good thing, but my best option right now is to stay with you."
"Okay." She said putting the buckets down now in a better mod. "I'm gonna go collect supplies, mind if I borrow this?" She asked picking up Lukas' bow and quiver.
"Do you think that I am incapable of using it," Lukas asked.
He was just teasing her now. If he was going to be stuck with her, he was going to have some fun.
"Well, I don't think that some animals would appreciate being chased around by a sexy naked man." She replied jokingly.
"I don't think they would appreciate being chased by a ten-foot bug," Lukas replied getting dressed. "Have you even ever used a bow before?"
"No, I've never used a bow in my life, that's why I am asking to use it to go hunt." Shelias replied sarcasticly.
"Well, I think I should use it because I've been using a bow for well over 100 years. Not to mention that it is my bow and I'm probably a better shot."
"Alright then strongman, don't take too long." She said giving Lukas a gentle push on his chest.
"Oh."
Lukas took his bow and quiver and left the cabin. A thought occurred to him as he hunted. What if he just didn't go back? He could easily just escape and never come back. He could be free again, but at what cost. He had told her that he would go with her. He couldn't turn himself into a liar now. She had entrusted him to leave and return of his own free will. Yes, she had raped him, but she did seem to care about him. He had already betrayed the first woman who had entered his life, he couldn't betray the second. He was better than that.
Lukas made up his mind. He would find an animal and return to Sheilas. Whether he liked it or not, he was the man in this (forced) relationship, and if being in the military had taught him anything, it was responsibility.
Sheilas was a bit relieved that Lukas was gone, she needed some time alone to contemplate on what she could do. She wanted to leave and let Lukas do what he wanted, she didn't think she could handle the guilt if forcing him to come with her. She prepared to leave him but as soon as she was about to walk out the door, Lukas came back inside with his kill.
(OOC Wow. That was fast. :P )
"Um...I got something," Lukas said after a brief awkward silence. "I already gutted it. We just have to skin it. And cook it."
Lukas noticed that Sheilas looked like she was ready to leave.
"Are you going somewhere?"
"Oh umm, no, just getting ready." She said convincingly hoping Lukas would buy it.
"Uh...Ok."
Things had gotten really awkward all of a sudden. It was unsettling.
"Where should I put this thing," Lukas asked hefting the deer.
"Out back, I'll take it." Sheilas replied grabbing the deer and heading to the back door.
Lukas followed her out the back door.
"Look. I know that we literally just met, but I can already tell that something is bothering you."
"It's fine, I'm alright." She reassured lighting the fire pit.
"Do you honestly think that you can successfully lie to a man that's been around for 125 years? Contrary to common belief, I'm not a complete idiot."
"I honestly doubt that." Sheilas relied. "You're worrying about me so much it's starting to feel like you're coming onto me." She laughed.
"What's bothering you," Lukas persisted. "This is an unavoidable question. Don't try to change the subject. I didn't have to come back here, so you can answer my question."
"I dunno, I'm just feeling a bit guilty is all, It's nothing really." Sheilas explained.
"What did you do to feel guilty?"
"I don't appreciate that form of prodding." Sheilas replied narrowing her eyes a bit as she began to skin the deer.
"I know exactly what kind of 'prodding' you prefer," Lukas replied. "Talking about it usually helps. At least, that's what I've been told."
"I just feel guilty for dragging you along with all of the sudden." She explained as she finished skinning the deer. "Maybe a little 'prodding' will help." She said sticking he tongue out at Lukas play fully.
"I do believe that I chose to come with you while fully being aware of the consequences. It seemed preferable to getting killed. For royalty you sure know how to prepare a deer."
"Does that mean you're accepting my offer, because, if you want i can prepare a different piece of meat." She said with a devious grin.
"I thought I had already accepted. That's the only reason why I'm here. And I believe you've done enough 'meat' preparation for now."
This woman's libido was off the charts. Did she ever have anything else on her mind besides sex?
Sheilas laughed. "I'm kidding." She said cooking the meat. "Of course I could always get more, serious." She said jokingly.
"I'm not sure if anything is serious with you," Lukas replied. "You're always alluding to sex when you're not having it."
"If all you think of me is a whore then you can stay here and get murdered by sprite and friend." Sheilas said sticking her nose up.
"Then show me that you're not just a whore. Can't we just have a normal conversation?"
"Sure, lets have a nice 10-foot reptilian insect to exiled angel conversation Lukas, what would you like to talk about." She said in a loud sarcastic manner.
"You don't have to be such a bitch," Lukas replied. "I just wanted some semblance of normalcy for once in my life. I guess that's too much to ask."
"Normal is boring, and you now owe me for calling me a bitch, do you know how hard it was to keep from killing you just now."
"Gods you're feisty. No wonder your dad let you leave home."
"Whatever." She replied as she took the meat off the fire. She cut herself a large piece, and left what was left to Lukas.
Lukas began reconsidering his decision to go with Sheilas. She was impossible to get along with, and the two of them shared nothing in common. Lukas started going through strategies in his mind on how to beat River. Possible death didn't seem so bad at the moment.
Sheilas noticed the contemplating look on Lukas' face. "No dude, you aren't getting out of this, we've had sex twice, no going back now." Sheilas reminded.
"I'm sure I'm not the first guy you've ever met. So why'd you pick me over anyone else? What does a poor nomadic hobo have that no one else does?"
"Well for starters immortality, and you were also able to go five minutes without starin' at my boobs." She explained.
"Angels have great self-control. It helps combat temptation," Lukas explained. He then added, a bit quieter, "and contain anger."
"Okay, we should get going." She said finishing her meal.
"Going where, exactly?"
Lukas was getting really tired of surprises. Why couldn't anything just be straightforward?
"Deep under ground." She said going back inside.
"Underground?"
Lukas followed Sheilas inside.
"Why are we going underground? What's underground?"
Sheilas grabbed her bag. "Akrids are underground." She explained
"Oh boy."
Lukas reluctantly gathered his things. He was not too fond of the notion of going underground. Angels liked to fly and be free, not stuck under the dirt. Now he was being stuck under the dirt with a bunch of giant bugs that could tear him in two. This was going to be fun.
Lukas and Sheilas headed out the door, they walked about 6 hours until it was night fall. Sheilas let out a large yawn. "Can you set up camp for the night, I gotta take a piss." She asked as she walked into the denser part of the woods.
Lukas didn't get a chance to answer before Sheilas left to do what she had to do. Lukas simply shrugged and got to work. There was only one tent, which he should have seen coming. He got to work setting it up. Having to do this many times before, the tent was set up in no time. The next step would be a fire.
Sheilas had finished reliving herself when a mouse scampered across her foot. Sheilas et out a small scream and punted the poor animal about 60 yards. "Dirty little son of a bitch." She muttered under her breath as she started to head back to where she had left Lukas.
Lukas had climbed up a dead tree and was breaking the branches off for firewood. Out of nowhere a mouse landed in his lap and startled. He then fell out of the tree and landed on his back, his pile sticks flying everywhere.
(OOC: Lol.)
As Sheilas got back to where she left Lukas she found him on the ground."What are you doing, messin' about on the ground, what the hell happened to making camp?"
"The tent is set up right over there, your highness," Lukas said sarcastically. "And I'm not messing around. I fell out of the damn tree. Some crazy mouse attacked or something."
Lukas got up and brushed himself off. He then picking up all of the sticks.
"The fire is still a work in progress."
Sheilas let out a large yawn. "I'm going to bed." She blatantly stated crawling into the tent.
"So, does that mean we don't need a fire?"
Lukas stood there with his arms full of branches. He worked hard to get those branches and would be mildly disappointed if they weren't needed.
"Do what you want." She yawned before dozing off.
Lukas shrugged and built a fire. He always liked sitting beside a fire. There was something relaxing about siting around a campfire. Lukas started singing softly to himself. He figured that Sheilas was asleep and wouldn't hear him.
Sheilas dreamt of Lukas serenading her, but this dream didn't last very long. It soon turned into something more, sensual. Sheilas let out a small chuckle as dream Lukas and Sheilas did some unmentionable things.
After awhile of staring at the fire until his retina burned, Lukas went into the tent and laid down next to Sheilas. It wasn't like there was anywhere else to lay down. Eventually he fell into a dreamless sleep.
Sheilas giggled in her sleep again as she suddenly put her leg around Lukas and dragged his closer to her with sheer force. And, still asleep, she put her hand on his crotch-area.
Lukas was an interesting sleeper. The smallest of sounds could wake him in an instant, but you could slap him and he would not stir. Only noises roused him for some reason, so he didn't notice the location of Sheilas's hand. He simply rolled over in his sleep.
Sheilas hand was trapped beneath Lukas' body and the sudden pressure woke her up. She opened her eyes and noticed the position her hand was in. "Well all you had to do was ask Lukas." She said removing her hand.
Lukas was woken up by the sound of Sheilas talking to him.
"What?"
Lukas then noticed where Sheilas's hand was. Lukas suddenly felt embarrassed and moved to free her hand.
"Sorry. I'm a restless sleeper."
"There is a way to pay me back, and you still owe me for calling me a bitch earlier." She replied with a devious grin.
"So I guess I'm NOT getting any sleep tonight then?"
"You guessed correctly" She replied climbing on top of Lukas.
Fade to black..
Lukas was slightly confused when he woke up the next morning with something on top of him, but it didn't take him long to remember. She certainly was a lot more peaceful when she slept. Lukas rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He would be stuck there until Sheilas woke up.
Sheilas awoke with pleasure, for she and Lukas were still "connected". She let out a soft giggle. "You like it in there?" She asked in a sarcastic, playful manner
"I didn't want to disturb you. The only time I get any peace is when you're sleeping."
OOC: I'm a little surprised at Lukas' lack of will power,
(OOC Lukas was exiled, but his honor and morals are still intact. He is being so submissive because he made a decision and feels that he must honor it. It's willpower that keeps him from running away.)
OOC: Gotcha, want me to post what Sali was planning? She's out with friends rit now, or do you wanna wait?

Pheonix ate the fire and it quickly restored her energy. She sat up and summoned a wave of dark energy. She curled it around her useless armor and crushed it into a ball about an inch in diameter. The then proceeded to throw it through the wall and into the river. "If he really raped that lady we had better get after him before something worse happens." She said determination written on her face. "This time be more careful. Wait until im out of the way or just dont use spells that cover a wide poetion of area. Were going to need to work together." She said, strapping on her dual chain blades and variety of daggers.
OOC: Question, what kind f clothing is she wearing under her armor, because I think River might crack a joke about it if it is what's in Phoenix's profile page.
Its not whats on the profile page. Thats just to show her weapons. Shes wearing a short blue skirt and a white short sleeved shirt.

"Here that melon facker?! We're coming for you!!" River yelled flying out the window.
Pheonix flew after him, this time in a cloud of darkness.
They were flying for about half an hour before they saw the camp. "Let's go down there and see if they saw Lukas." River said. When they landed River walked over to the tent and opened it. He saw Sheilas on top of Lukas. "RAPIST!!" River shouted while encasing Sheilas in ice and pulling her out of the tent. "QUICK! KILL HIM, KILL HIM WITH FIRE!!" He yelled pointing at the tent.
Pheonix didnt move. If anything it looked like Lukas was the one being raped. The girl wasnt being held there and she seemed to be concious. Something strange was going on here.
"What were you waiting for?!" River asked as he encased Lukas' tent with ice until the layer was about 6 inches thick. "Did you see what I saw, Lukas was all, ugh ugh ugh." River said while pelvic thrusting. "And this girl was like, nooo nooo nooo." River added while making a face that looked more like he was extremely constipated rather than a victim of sexual assault.
"What the hell?!"
One moment Sheilas was on top of him and the next she's gone and the tent is encased in ice. Ice. River. Lukas quickly put his pants back on a grabbed his sword. The blazing weapon had no trouble melting through the ice barrier.
"What the hell," Lukas shouted as he broke free. "Who just yanks a naked woman out of a tent like that?! At least cover her with something, you animal!"
"River I dont think he was raping her. She looked like she could have gotten away if she wanted." Pheonix said as Lukas charged out of the tent.
"Well, you've got a point there." River said rubbing his chin. "Ma'am was this guy raping you?" River asked Sheilas who was encased in ice naked and shivering.
"You've got to be kidding me."
Lukas grabbed a blanket from the tent, melted the ice off of Sheilas with his sword, and threw the blanket over her. He then proceeded to swiftly punch River in the face.
"I've been wanting to do that for awhile," Lukas said satisfied. "Now what is your problem? Is your own life so dull and pointless that you have to meddle in the affairs of everyone else and give a woman hypothermia?"
Pheonix set a fire in front of Sheilas with her magic, getting her a blanket and completely ignoring the other two.
"Hey it was her idea!" River shouted rubbing his face and pointing at Phoenix. "And she told me you raped her! So excuse me if the first thing in my mind is'nt that you two are just having a nice chat!" He yelled creating another ice sword the same size as before.
(OOC Um, Phoenix. I already got her a blanket. :P )
"Kid, your weapons are made of ice. This sword can't be extinguished. I can just cut through your ice weapons, so just put the thing down before I have to hurt you in front of the women."
(OOC: I got her another one.)
"You did not just blame this on me!" Pheonix shouted at River. She summoned a wave of fire and blated the area River was in.

Sheilas sat in awe at the commotion that was unfolding before her. "Are you guys always like this when you're around each other?" Sheilas asked Phoenix after she finished blasting fire.
"Pretty much."
Lukas enjoyed watching River getting blasted by his own ally. If he got the chance, he would probably hit River again just because.
"Im pretty sure you caused this commotion lady." Pheonix said to the lady. "Im not sure whats really going on but i hope one o you will explain to me."
"Well, I was walking through the forest then I met Lukas, then we talked, I led his to this cabin, we had sex, he yelled at me then he left, River found me, I was angry so I told him Lukas raped me. Lukas came back, I offered him his supplies back if he married me and made offspring with me so I could go back to me kingdom. We had sex again, we left to get back to my kingdom, we set up camp here, we had sex again, then you guys found us." She recapped as if it wasn't a big deal.
Lukas pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head and sighed.
"It was that or get killed by you two. The choice was difficult, but not impossible."
"Why was it difficult Lukas?" Sheilas said glaring at him.
"Well you did rape me and all," Lukas replied.
Lukas was never more humiliated in his life.
"Pfft, you know you enjoyed it."
"Oh yes. Being tied to a bed and forcefully stripped of my virginity was wonderful," he replied sarcastically.
Pheonix stood there watching them bicker. "Next time try it the old fashioned way. You go on a date with them. Then they evemtually ask you to marry them." Pheonni said to the elf like lady.
River was watching the debate when he smelled smoke, he crinkled his nose. he turned his head around to see that he was on fire, his wings were burning up like paper. "F-" He started before he plummeted to the ground. He landed head first and fell unconscious, a large puddle of blood bathed his back in a crimson red. River was dying, dying fast.
Pheonix ran over to river. Stupid idiot. He could block pretty much anything but was too dumb to fly over a wave of flame? How could he have possibly not blocked it! She reached down to his back and let her healing power flow out of her hands. It was a death wound and Pheonix realized the risk of healing it. As it closed up an identical, but proportionate to her body, appeared on Pheonix's back, blood already pooling on the ground beneath her. She continued to pour healing energy into him.
River started breathing, it was forced, be he was breathing. He slightly opened his eyes to see that Phoenix was healing him. He gave weak bats at her hands. "S-stop it, I can handle myself." He said weakly.
Lukas knocked Phoenix over to stop the spell.
"Half and half is enough. We can dress the wounds from here."
Lukas helped Phoenix back up.
"I can bandage it or cauterize it. Your choice."
"Don't you dare touch me melon facker." River said sitting up. "I got it." He said using the same method he used on Phoenix to treat his wound.
Pheonix cauterized her own wound using her fire. "Thanks but no thanks. I don't trust you that much." Pheonix said as she dropped her head onto her knees, exausted. Her hair dragged in the blood but she was too tired to notice or even care.
"You shouldn't have done that for me." River said with concern coating his voice.
"I know i shouldnt have. Cause you deserved it. If i thought you thought you would survive it i would smack you." Pheonix was still angry at River. Normaly this would be intimidating but she said it on her knees as she started to throw up what seemed like every thing she had ever eaten.
River stuck out his tongue, laid down on his back and looked at the sky. "I miss it already..." He said trailing off.
"Oh lovely," Lukas said sarcastically as Phoenix vomited.
They both looked in bad shape. He didn't care about River, but the girl just got dragged into it.
"I'll get a fire going."
Lukas started gathering sticks and branches. Fire always made him relax and feel better, and it gave him something to occupy himself with during this somewhat awkward encounter.
She sat up and cleaned herself off. She couldnt wait to see the other mans face when she ate his fire. She smiled at the thought before leaning over to River. She created a cage of darkness around him almost like a bird cage, for her revenge.
River looked at the cage and shrugged his shoulders non-nonchalantly. "I'm already in a cage, I can't fly, I don't feel like moving anyway." He said closing his eyes.
Why was he so cool headed abou this. She st the cage up to automatically run off her magical energy before curling up into a ball and falling asleep for a nap.
Once Phoenix was asleep River took his chance to escape, he created five snow golems and some shovels. Once they had dug River out he decided it was time to send a message. He shot an ice needle at a bird that was flying ahead who, coincidentally was the same bird that had chased him before. He slit the birds throat in a quick motion and placed the body on Phoenix's head. He then left with his golems manically snickering.
Pheonix woke when a dead bird was placed on her. She was so fed up with River that she woul put herself on the brink o death to get even with him. And she knew that that was what this ancient spell would do. No words could explain the anger she felt. She mumbled a few words in an old unidentifable language. You could feel the power in the words as they resonated throughou the camp. Five dark and fiery creatures appeared in front of her. They were almost invincible and would operate on the command given to them at creation. The creatures were gigantic and fast with spiraling horns. They held flaming swords and whips made of the most potent of darkness. Pheonix slipped into unconciousness right after giving her command. "Kill River." she mumbled before goin into the equivalent of a coma. The Balrogs (just what she decided to call them) Ran after River roaring loude than ten dragons combined. It was unlikely pheonix would recover anytim soon. it might be weeks before she even woke up.i
(OOC: each of them has fire and darkness magic. They can only be defeated by an angels sword or their master. Which would b Pheonix in this case. and yes swords of fallen angels do count. ;) )
(OOC It is an angel's sword. It's the same sword that was given to him when he became Captain of the Guard. It was the only thing, other than his wings, that he was allowed to keep, though not even he knows why. I'm waiting for our fourth companion to post before I post again.)
Sheilas shrugged at the problem that was unfolding before her. Instead, she turned her attention to Lukas. She grabbed his hand and attempted to drag him back to the tent.
"What are you doing? My fire isn't done yet."
Lukas was looking forward to his fire. It was also weird how Sheilas didn't seem to care about everything that was happening just then. The girl looked like she was dead, and River was gone, but she was dragging him back to the tent. What was she up to now?
When Lukas and Sheilas were sitting in the tent she put a shirt on. "Luukaaas, your friends are hard to put up with." She complained leaning back resting her head in Lukas' lap.
"They are not my friends," Lukas replied. "They're the two that came to kill me because you said that I raped you, so technically, it's your fault that they're here. Also, I think the girl might be dead."
(Hello?)
OOC: Sali is cramming for a quiz she will be posting again in about 4 hours or so

"Well if you didn't go off on me like that I wouldn't have had to tell them that would I?" She replied. "But, your mistakes are in the past and I forgive you, so lets go see what's wrong with this girl and we can get moving again." She said exiting the tent.
"Well you....di...ju..gi...AH!"
Lukas stormed out of the tent after Sheilas and checked on the girl. He checked for her pulse. It was there, but very faint.
"She's barely alive, and I don't think she'll be waking up anytime soon."
Lukas stood and examined the tracks that had been left behind by the balrogs.
"It doesn't look like River will be alive much longer either."
When River got back to his cabin he turned and saw a trail of darkness and fire. His face turned to one of determination. "All right boys you trained for this!" He yelled as he rushed inside. Suddenly, a shield of snow golems sprouted up from the ground. "Let's play." River said sitting in an icy chair he created.
(OOC: Since my character is unconcious, i'll be controlling the balrog thingies! YAY! ;) )
The balrogs smashed through the shield spewing fire everywhere. They each cracked their whips in unison and raised there firey swords, charging at the cabin where they sensed River in his ice chair.
OOC: the golems are technically alive so they can't be hurt in the meeting place :) the sheild is still uo
(OOC Just because they can't be hurt doesn't mean they can't be sent flying.)
OOC: Crap.
When the balrogs burst through the door the force of the blast knocked River off his chair. He scrambles to get up. He then dusted himself off and then stuck up two very rude fingers. "Were in the Meeting place, you can't hurt me pantie sniffers." He stated with a large grin.
(OOC How does he know that the protection is only granted to those who are unarmed? Lukas never specified that you had to be unarmed.)
(OOC: The weapons are like parts of their bodies. Does that count as them having weapons?)
(OOC If the weapons are physically attached as opposed to separate entities, than I suppose they would be technically unarmed. But I'm not entirely sure that the protection would carry over to hellbeasts with intent to kill :P )
The balrogs swung their whips simultaniously at Rivers outstretched fingers. Their flaming bodies set the cabin on fire as it licked the floorboards.
"Ack, son of a.." River started holding his fingers. Then suddenly, Teal, Mayus and Whisper Dan dropped in from the roof.
"Someone call for backup?" Mayus asked smugly.
"No, no one said that, anyway KICK THEIR ASSES!" River yelled pointing to the two intruders.
(OOC: Switching to golem control please don't attack River, I'm not that good at multi-playing)
(OOC: But i can't hurt the golems and there are 5 of them...)
The golems charged in unison, playing a game like whack a mole. Eventually they gave up on fighting the golems and started picking them up and throwing them. 1 of them broke off to get something to make a cage with so they could stop messing with these golums and start there main objective again.
(OOC: Exactly..)
As one of the Balrogs broke away from the fight the the golems river had summoned had over powered the first one and had it pinned down against the floor. River then summoned more golems to put out the flames and deal with the second Balrog.
(OOC I'm starting to think that the golems should lose the protection of the Meeting Place, because of intent to cause harm. That, and this isn't gonna get anywhere otherwise. They are technically being used by River as weapons in and of themselves. The Meeting Place protects innocence. The snow golems don't seem so innocent at this point.)
(OOC; The have to intent to harm, the have intent to protect. So, technically within the requirements of the meeting place they aren't weapons)
(OOC River's order weren't to protect, they were to attack. They are being used by River to inflict harm on the Balrogs. It's also not very fair if the Balrogs can get hurt but the golems can't.)
(Good point, but the golems are not nessisarily "hurting" the balrogs they are just pinning them down. But I guess q good solution to this problem would be that the golems just can't be melted but the can be harmed in other ways)
(OOC I suppose that's fair.By the way, where's our fourth companion?)
(OOC: She is out of town for a funeral.)
"Do we have to go save him?" Sheilas complained stumbling about like a frustrated zombie
"Not necessarily, but we should do something about her though," Lukas replied nudging Phoenix with his foot.
"We can't just leave her like this."
"Well if we save her we have to go save that fairy guy, isn't it part of your hero's code or something?" Sheilas asked sitting down
"If I was still an angel then yeah, it would be," Lukas replied. "But since I've been exiled, I tend not to care too much anymore. To be honest, I could care less about what happens to that damned sprite."
As the first on was pined spikes shot out from its body, made of darkness, throwing the golems that were pinning it all over the place and destroying most of them. It stod up and joined the rest of the balrogs and started slicing and dicing the golems that were attacking. The other balrog came back empty handed to join in the fight.
Pheonix felt th nudge, bu it seemed like it was coming from far away, like when you sit too long in one position and you lose feeling in your leg. Except this was her whole body. Her spirit seemed to float away from the body, but stopped abruptly, still tethered by the little bi of life left in her. She knew irt was dangerous to be leaving her body open like this. A wandering spirit might decide to take her body, and who knew what would happen to her if that hapened.
"Well if you don't care then let's just leave her here." Salidia replied.
"We can't just leave her here," Lukas insisted. "I don't care about River, but she has not wronged me in any way. If she were to die and we did nothing about it, it would be the same as murder."
Lukas kneeled and began checking Phoenix's vital signs.
"I'm not completely heartless."
As Pheonix floate aboved above her body, a dark wave seemed to aper on the horizon with a noise like thunder. As the others talked Pheonix realized that they didnt see it. It was only visible in the spirit realm. She realized it was a dark spirit approaching quickly. She hoped it would pass by quickly and not notice the empty and vulnerable body beneath her.
River let out a long disgruntled sigh, he was beaten. He looked down to the one scar on his palm. "Only two left now." He sighed. River dismissed his golems and waited for the balrogs to take his life.
"Fine." Sheilas sighed as she walked over and hefted Pheonix's limp body. "Pack up and let's go." She complained.
"Are you that heartless," Lukas shouted at Sheilas. "Is it so difficult to help someone?! Look at her! Look at how young she is! She has her entire life and future ahead of her! You can't just....You can't..."
Lukas sighed and his volume and tone returned to normal.
"You can't just take everything away from her while she's in her prime. It's not right."
It was obvious that Lukas was speaking from experience. He had had it all, only for it all to be taken from him in an instant.
"Technically speaking yes, Akrids don't have hearts, and yes I don't really wanna help this girl, she too that little guy's wings away, and did you ever even consider what he may have going on, what his future might hold?!" She shouted back putting Pheonix down. "He is just as old as she is, and if your willing to help her and not him you're being a hypocrite!"
The wave crashed down around Pheonix's body, entering through any opening it could find. Black viens spread from her eyes out a bit. Pheonix's eyes opened, glowing scarlet. She grabbed Sheilas's shoulder and flipped her into the ground, while she landed on her legs. She recalled the golems to her, as she was curious as too what this body had control over. Pheonix spirit watched horrified still tethered to her body. The spirit would be dispelled in about a week when she got pulled back into her body, but it was still a week for it to reak havoc in her body.
