Title: A bar of social freedom
Post by: pryatama aphrodite on February 22, 2014, 07:26:52 AM
Pretty sure at least a few of you had been awaiting a room to which you could freely use obscenities and devuldge in any conversation you choose. Here lies a bar. The middle area bearing racks apon racks of liquor, water, soda, any drink you choose to obtain. A break in the bar is the entryway to the behind bar. A walkway in separation from the middle area and counter. Which is one sizeably large square. Start up conversations in a neatly kept booth, we have many lining the walls. Where there is not a bat or booths, there are tons of tables. So enjoy yourselves, and create a memorable experience. Just remember, play nice!

The one bearing looks like a female snuck to the door. A slinking pace, silent as a cat. Lady-kirn taking no chances with the ones known as 'hooligans' or 'ruffians'. She'd always been skiddish, and strived to avoid that type of crowd. Thus, explaining her silent arrival. The blue-green iris's scanned such an area. Unfamiliar to the surroundings, but more then willing to take a gander at sanctuary, without actually traveling among Catholics. Her feet were deathly silent as the cloaked kirn slid into a seat of the silent bar. Eyes hidden precariously behind closed lids.

Anzio walked into the bar and instantly saw the lone woman at the bar. This was too good to pass up. Anzio silently made his way over to her. He brought his hands down upon her shoulders and said "Hey! How ya doin'!"

She looked up in surprise, eyes as wide as saucers. "Oh! Lordy lordy, mister!" She chuckled, and ran a hand through her hair, heart skipping a beat... Or two... Maybe three. "Good, you?"

Anzio laughed.

"I'm just dandy! It's not often I find someone with a sense of humor like yours! Just for that, I'll buy you something. What do you say?"

Anzio sat down next to the woman and leaned his staff up against the counter and sigh contentedly. He was normally punched for doing stuff like that. It was nice to find someone that got just as much of a kick out of it as he had.

It was amusement, that provoked the upturn of her lips in a sincere smile. "Ah. That would be dandy, but you'll have to fight me for the check." Yes. She was conversing in what flirty way she could. Suggesting... Something along the lines of buying the second round should they decide to have one. Whatever was planned to drink.

Anzio smiled beneath his smiling mask.

"If you think you can fight me then you must not know who I am," Anzio said jokingly. "I am Anzio Kanerich, master illusionist and world renowned outlaw at your service. I could easily pay for as much as you care to eat or drink. I could buy this whole bar if I so desired. So, you think you can top that?"

"Oh, my dear. This is my country." She winked. A bit.. Shy... "Khainley... Khainley Meliorn, lady kirn, or cat woman as you can tell." She was never good at small talk. Her pale blue body fur complimented curves to come. A waterfall of dark blue resembling her hair flowed to mid shoulder. She was... As others would put it... The opposite of confident about her looks.

"A cat woman," Anzio said resting his cheek on his fist in fascination. "If that's the case, would you purr if I started petting you? Or maybe if I scratched you behind the ear."

Anzio continued with his playful tone of voice. He was having fun, and the fact that this woman's sense of humor was as good as his own made it even better.

She had to laugh at that. The sound, a resonation residing in her furry chest. The actual noise being half air and half sound, proclaiming her innocence as if it were on display. "Why, that would be telling." Humor dripped from each annunciation word, a smile tugging forcefully at her joined lips. "When the fun is in finding out for yourself." Oh, that grin. Her muzzle housing a look, hidden beneath her thick lashes, adopting mischief. Mayhaps she isn't so innocent after all? Her mind surely isn't.

It was then that her glamour slipped. Like the paint melting from a canvas. Revealing the biggest picture. In her case, instead of pale blue body fur, and even darker blue hair, there sat a lady Kirn of soft pink. Tufts covering every inch of her body. Visible, that is. A neatly kept head of silky pink hair cascading down to lower back. As if a time elapse had disturbed its original length. She felt the magic slide into nothingness, and had the Curtousy to blush under the coat of soft fur. "I suppose you could call this the 'pinkified predicament'." Literally...

Her tail took to a metronome-like sway, the color as deep as her hair. It unconsciously curled inward and around her form. Though, nothing proved to be fatal, or dangerous. Call the movement more of a habit. One that would never fade.

Anzio chuckled.

"I've never seen anyone blush like that. I'll take it that the answers to my question must be yes but, it never hurt to find out just to be sure."

With that, Anzio reached out and began gently scratching behind the cat woman's ear. This was a fun evening.

Screw steady. She smiled, and worked up the act of the common house cat. Tail in an abrupt shift and flick from left to right. Her eyes hidden behind closed lids, with a gentle, almost inaudible purr. Done absently, of course. Never on purpous... Heh. She sighed contently, vibrating chest ever-distant.

Anzio nearly fell off of his stool from laughter.

"I'll be damned! She does purr!"

After Anzio managed to calm himself down after his fit of laughter he said "You just have to let me buy you something now."

If one was to look EXTREMELY HARD, they would probably spot the heavy blush swallowing her cheeks to her neck. "Oh? And why is that?" She couldn't resist. "Trying to impress me, or something?" She smiled a bit, refusing to look at him, but the Barton instead. The smile turning a curvature to the sly side. "It's flattering. Really. Don't you have boundaries? I mean, dam... You come on strong." With that, he received a wink.
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: Wicked Basket on March 04, 2014, 05:42:51 PM
"If I was trying to impress you, my dear, I would do something like this..."

Suddenly, a bouquet of roses appeared in his hand.

"But these aren't roses, they're sticks. Now they're ropes. Now they're snakes. Now they're chains. Now they're daggers. And now, they're roses again."

The objects in his changed into whatever he had listed, and just as quickly. He then leaned in close.

"But these aren't really roses," he said softly. "They're not even real."

With that, he tossed the roses behind. Before the roses hit the floor, they turned into a flock of butterflies and flew out of the bar.

"I also do birthday parties, weddings, and anniversaries," he said with a grin.

Khainley, even with the addition of eyesore precision, couldn't follow the shifts, and things. Good god, when the butterflies arose in a swarm, and darted out, she was preparing for her golden green eyes, in all there newly found vibrancy in interest, to pop out of their sockets. She shook her head. "Lordy, mister." She grinned enough to show teeth, before registering that, and snapping her muzzle shut. Bearing teeth tended to scare whoever spared them a glance. Not this time though. She had magic to produce. Her hand rose, and soon, a sparked flame popped into her palm. "Take a look." If he should move to a closer proximity, the shadows dotting the center would then take to movement. Figures flouncing in an expert-like tango, then shift to the rose she once saw. Everything from images of her home, idris, to the tomb of sanctuary flashed in a flourish. Soon, the flame was diminished... By the closing of her palm.

Anzio watched the flame and the images inside with great interest.

"What was all of that," he asked. "What were those places?"

His interest had definitely been piqued, but it was always hard to tell with that mask he wore with its eternal smile.

She opened her mouth, as if to answer, but slowly shut it. Her eyes clung to the edge of the mask. Realizing he was wearing one, after being completely oblivious. "Um..." Focus, khainley. He asked you something. Don't. Be. Rude. "Oh, the first is my homeland. Kirn headcourters, and tomb of sanctuary. All places hidden warily. You would have to peel the glamour from then to recognize it at all." She released her look of distance, having had stared at the mask with interests of her own, and looked to the wall over his shoulder.

"Home," Anzio said wistfully. "It sure looks like a nice place to live."

Anzio himself had never really had a home, or a family for that matter. Anzio quickly realized that the memories were returning and he forced them back down and returned to his cheerful state.

"You hungry?"

Dam her and her constant worry for the littlest of things that didn't freaken involve her! She swallowed, already plunged to a state of lenient darkness with a smile dismissing any possible form of enjoyment. She tried again. A grin faking her cheer and bright glow provoked by extra, enhanced glamour. "Sure. Are you?" Around that time, she patted his arm, and returned it to her side, where her tail curled inward, and around her lower half in what was a lingering habit. Pretty well put, and everlasting.

"I don't eat around other people because then I would have to take my mask off. I've got to protect my identity," Anzio replied.

That last part didn't come out sounding as sure as he wanted it to, but maybe she wouldn't bother him about. Then again, she clearly noticed the home thing because she had put her hand on his arm. His mask was to hide himself from others, to keep them from seeing his facial expressions and figuring out that he was holding something inside. If anything, his mask was a cork that prevented the contents of his soul from spilling out.

She sure as hell noticed. Everything was her video, providing constant updates. He didn't hide anything well from her, for she could still see his eyes. That... Is something one would be careful to control. Those looks... Loneliness, creeping sadness, all like her own.

She most definitely would keep that all to herself. Wouldn't breathe a word about the mask, and make him uncomfortable. More then he probably already is. She has a knack for disturbing people, even those with the toughest stamina.

Anzio chuckled. However, this wasn't like the other times he had laughed. This one sounded sort of hollow.

"Not much gets past you does it," he asked already knowing the answer. "I appreciate your not bringing it up, but I'm not sure that there's a way around it. Not that you'd want to hear about the humble beginnings of an infamous outlaw."
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

"A charming outlaw. And I'm willing to Lend an ear should you need it." Her bottom lip snagged between her mostly straight, semi pointy teeth. "But you don't have to." The last part was hastily added. Feigning a smile sure meant nothing now, but of course, she did it anyway. His sake, not hers. She must look like a flustered fool. That thought bringing forth a blush she strived to avoid. Composure seemed to be foreign to her as of now.

"Yes I do," Anzio replied. "If I don't, you might die of curiosity. Curiosity did kill the cat you know."

Anzio sighed deeply and stared at the counter.

"I was an orphan, well technically I'm still an orphan. I lived in an orphanage and have no knowledge of my parents. It was a very poor orphanage. We hardly ever had anything to eat, and our clothes were rags. I wanted to help, so I started stealing food and giving it to the other orphans."

Anzio paused and sighed again. At this point it was really obvious how big of a lie that smiling mask really was.

"One day, a man that I had stolen from showed up at the door. He wanted me to be brought forward so that I could be punished. I figured that the other orphans would cover for me, you know, because I did so much for them. They turned me in immediately. Those little bastards."

Anzio stood and turned his back toward Khainley in order to compose himself.

"Those ungrateful little bastards!"

Anzio hurled a stool across the room in anger.

"After everything I did for them they just throw me out like trash!"

Anzio sighed a third time and simmered down.

"I jumped out the window and ran. I've been by myself ever since, and have never trusted anyone."

Anzio turned and faced Khainley again.

"That's my story," he finished solemnly.

Khaki let's lips parted, eyes wide. It wasn't a reaction to the anger. But to the excruciating pain she saw, that took control of his simmering gaze. Speechless for a beat, she was reminded of her own story. One she had every right to tell.

"I was once the victim of a car wreck. Not my doing, but my nested of freinds. Once was enough to cause my fathers anger. He had let her and me borrow his car. One he loved more then life itself... Even me..." Unlike his mask, her fur had no physical protection from tears. One slipped, down her cheek, to her chin, where it dropped. Chrystalline, and pure. Wetting splotch to her chest fur. "He beat me... A bottle to the head twice knocked me out, woke up, tied to a desk chair, with staples in my knee, clearly accidental. Since he was drunk... I had no mother to stop him from..." She sucked in a shaky breath, with an equally unsteady exhale. "From killing me."

Anzio suddenly felt that his own story was nothing compared to hers, and he was overcome with a sudden urge. He decided to go with the urge. He walked up to Khainley and hugged her. He didn't know why. It just seemed appropriate. Her fur was really soft. Anzio had  never really been hugged before, nor had he hugged anyone before now. It felt nice though.

She paused, not expecting this reaction, since no one really cared. But eventually, she looped her arms around his middle, and snuggled against his chest. Relief coursed through her. His story had slowly killed her for the second time. This one internally. She felt his pain. Having been thrown into an alleyway after her father killed her. Eventually, since kirn healed fast, she was back. And bruised to all hell. Lest not forget the pain. If he were to press a hand to her lower back, he would feel a scar running diagonally, left, across her spine. From where the knife insertion happened.

Anzio hadn't put any thought to what he would do after he hugged her. Should he say something? Should he let go? Should he keep hugging? He didn't really have much knowledge on women since he had lived alone pretty much all of his life. Part of him didn't want to let go and, since that's the only lead he had, he went with it and just kept hugging.

"You're soft," he said softly.

"I am?" She was humoresque by the tell tale of his lack of women knowledge. Obviously, if he wanted to disengage the hug, then he w should. She never meant to cause discomfort.

"Yes."

This hug sure was lasting awhile. Anzio decided to let go and took half a step back.

"Sorry, I.....I don't know. It just felt like the right thing to do just then."
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

She inclined her head in what was famously known as the 'submissive' pose. "It's fine, really. I needed that... S-sorry if I... Caused you to be... Uncomfortable..." Again, not the best at conversing and such.

She took a full step back, flustered nature teetering the point of no return. Did she do something wrong? Was it too long a hug? Was she not supposed to talk?
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: Wicked Basket on March 04, 2014, 08:04:18 PM
"No, no, it's fine. I'm just not used to hugging. I never really got any hugs," Anzio replied. "You didn't do anything wrong. You were wonderful."

Wait, what? Did he really just say that? Anzio blushed bright red beneath his mask. He couldn't believe what just came out of his mouth.

Well, that made her stop all movement, thoughts... Did he call her... "Wonderful? I wouldn't say that." Crap, she didn't want to correct him. Wait...is she... Did she just internally admit it was something she wanted?

Post by: Wicked Basket on March 04, 2014, 08:15:05 PM
"Why wouldn't you," Anzio asked. "You're the first person I've ever talked to that actually cares. I would consider that pretty wonderful."

While the compliment had originally been involuntary, Anzio knew that the only reason he had said it was because it was true, so now he was going to stick with it.

She had to press her hands to her thighs to stop them from shaking. "Same to you." Her voice was small, tight. How could a conversation once flirty and fun, turn dark and awkward so fast?
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: pryatama aphrodite on March 05, 2014, 12:08:32 AM
Her eyes lowered, leisurely trailing to the upward curvature of his boots, and onto the floor caked with dust. Among all who could've set foot in here, she was the one to leave a bare trail. In actuality, the only disturbance, was her tail, streaking what sifted behind her.

The glamour peeled not just her looks, but her humanity from her soul, and innocence coming to a hideous taint. For what was she to occupy herself but with her mind? Had it not been mentioned that, despite outward, provoked appearances, she was one of mischief? Not that much, but a lingering nag to her mind was what it was on her end.

She bit her lip, canines digging, pinpoint contact driving it into the slab of useful skin. Salty, thin liquid with quite the tangy aftertaste drizzled into the compartment of her bottom lip, directly in front of her teeth. The mini aliased area filled halfway, before her paw applied pressure.

Given another circumstance, she would've let the blood drain. Not in her mouth, but onto solidified ground.

She despised those who took comfort in taste testing there body fluids. Blood was something one would keep mind to nurture, but not as connected as that.

A shiver raked her spine, descending from tailbone, to lower back, left of the scar. Hoping to gods green earth the shift of moods and nervous movement didn't snag his notice.

"Anzio, is this too... Awkward for you? I mean, I can drop it all. I don't want to be the cause of your discomfort."
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: Wicked Basket on March 05, 2014, 05:00:57 AM
Anzio put his hands on her shoulders.

"Why are you like that? You're doing nothing wrong. You don't have to drop anything."

Anzio had never seen anyone act like this. It was as if she thought everything was her fault and that she was constantly doing something wrong. Did it have something to do with her past?
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: pryatama aphrodite on March 05, 2014, 10:42:13 AM
She tensed a bit at the point of contact, but allowed relaxation to settle. It wasn't anything in her past causing such a recoil. Just the waryness of men in general. She was unfamiliar with how they reacted, thus, rendering her mindset to be on the watch.

"I just thought.. Since you weren't familiar with the senario... And the action..." oh! Cue the blush! "Ya know... Um..." Dam... This was one awkward turnaround.

Khainley took to a steady gaze, adopting a look of indifference. His hands were warm atop her silk like fur. Something she had taken to noticing, but not elaborating. Any further... Until now.

Registering even the meekest of touches seemed to calm her more then the average thought ever would, or could, for that matter. No matter the situation, she always faced conversing head on, and careful. This one was the first to be so carelessly free.

"You need to stop thinking," Anzio told her. "Just go with the flow. Act on an impulse. The world is constantly in motion. If you just sit back and try to think about it all, you'll miss it. Clear your mind of all of the 'what if's. Focus on what is."

"Sometimes..." She replied meekly, "impulse takes hold of an... Abrupt aspect."

She was speaking from complete experience. One being marked as the time her friend had kissed her, acting upon his instinctive, 'impulse'.

"And sometimes it turns out to be the best decision you ever made," Anzio replied.

"It's the only place I don't feel lonely in..."

Her eyes took to a singular shimmer. She'd admitted to what wasn't remotely close to what she was consciously playing in her ensnared, minds eye. Also, it seemed to cause a cringe as an after affect. She felt the need to apologies for being like that. Only god knows why it was spoken.

"No, you don't." She walked a leisure pathway towards him, seductive twinkle in her eyes, with a low, husky tone to match. "You have no idea what you agreed to."

She laid a paw to his chest, claws poking halfway, and dragged them down his chest playfully. He would regret he ever accepted the challenge.

If agreeing to this is the outcome, then that's one hell of an impulse."

She eyed him, feeding him what he was about to be the victim of. "You couldn't possibly match me in this round. I already reign victor. But where's the fun in quitting now?"

Her paw halted in a hover, claws brushing bare skin, and traced his waistband with her forefinger. To the point where she had made a full circle. Pressure applied increasingly with each progressive step.

"That doesn't really help me much. I'm a dumb orphan, remember?"

The smile slipped, like paint melting from a canvas into a blur.

"Don't talk shit, Anzio. You and I know we'll enough that you are faaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrr from dumb."

As if to prove her point, impulse in a domination, she hugged him again, cheek pressed against his chest. "Never have been, and you never will be." The last line... Was a whisper.

Anzio returned the hug. He liked this hugging thing, and Khainley was just so soft and warm.

"The orphanage couldn't afford to school us," Anzio said. What he said next was said in a whisper.

"I can't read or write."

She froze. Yes. She was soft, but the lining of her muscles could surely be felt under her fur now, even though they were small. "Anzio," she asked softly, "would you like to learn?"

Anzio chuckled softly.

"I think I'm beyond the point where I'd be able to," he replied. "I just never really needed to read or write to rob places, or maybe I'm just too lazy that I never got to it."

He lips curled into what is familiar as the expression marking a person taking notice of exaggeration.

"Sometimes, you can act so weird. I am lazy, and still make time for the essentials... Like, ya know... READING!! Writing ties into that. What happens when you want to..."

Her lips pressed into a line. About to suggest writing to a family member, or reading a newspaper. Both of which, would be responded with the infamous 'don't need to do that' phrase.

"Want to what," Anzio asked.

He knew that literacy was useful, but he had already made it this far without it, so it must not be all that important. Right?

She stilled, thoughts racking her brain only temporarily, before shaking her head twice. A gesture meant to assure him the subject was discontinued, and confirm her dislike to where her thoughts were leading.

"Nothing. Nevermind. Not everyone wants lessons."

"I see," Anzio said simply.

Secretly though, Anzio was still curious as to what she was going to say. He was also still waiting on that mysterious dangerous thing that she had been talking about. He was hoping to get to jump off a building or something.

"So, are we still going to do something dangerous?"

"There's a place called Twilight Island South of here. It's in it's own pocket dimension, though I know a way in. It has a volcano. Thought we could go swimming in molten rock fer a while."

"I thought you said dangerous, not suicidal," Anzio joked. "Can you even do that? Is your fur fireproof or something?"

"Hey. Dangerous and Suicidal have more similarities then differences..." she muttered. Then half-smiled at him at the mention of her fur, and the power she doesn't possess.

"No. I am as flammable as you, if not more. But did I not present a spell not fifteen minutes ago?" The event that started the awkward period of time...

"Did I not present one to you as well," Anzio replied.

Well, this was getting boring again. Time for fun.

"You know what? I'm going to jump off the roof!"

Anzio turned and headed for the door.

But he was talking to nothing, for she was already in a ninja crouch on the chimney. Overlooking his leave, as the breeze took to ruffling her glistening fur.

Anzio nearly fell off the roof in shock when he saw that Khainley was already there.

"How did you get up here so fast? Can you teleport or something?"

"Ok. So you're super fast, really soft, you can make fire pictures, is there anything else I need to know about. Are you going to start flying or something?"

This was no ordinary woman. Well, besides being a cat there was something very different, something hiding beneath the surface. Anzio needed to find out what. He needed to.

She looks at him with a glint in her eyes, but doesn't answer.

Instead, she slowly rises, and triple flips to a treetop, where the ninja crouch comes into play again. This time, she doesn't register if he's following her. Instead, she plunges into the sea of dark trees, and appears on the doorstep of the bar again. Picking at her cuticles, chest rising and falling at a normal pace. Not at all tired.

"That's totally unfair," Anzio muttered.

Now, it was his turn. He took a running start and jumped off the roof. The moment he reached the apex of his jumped, several more Anio's formed underneath him, forming a stack of Anzio.

"Bet you can't do this," he called down from the wobbly stack.
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

"You're right. I can't do that."

She strolled into an underbrush with a passing grin. No longer skiddish on covering her more-than-ordinarily-pointy-anthro teeth. Not a second later did she appear on the opposite side of the clearing. Face impassive.

When Khainley took a creaking step on the roof, the Khainley strolling in the clearing dissolved instantly.

"But I can induce hallucinations."

Anzio twisted around to face her. He had been dooped again! Unfortunately the act of twisting around so quickly managed to throw off the delicate balance of the stack, and it began to fall. Every single Anzio looked up in horror as the figured out what was happening. The all spoke the same thing at the same.

"Oh shit."

Down the Anzio's went. The copies all hit the ground and vanished soon after while the real Anzio landed in a trough of water with a splash. He lifted his head out of the water.

"Ouch."

"Don't help me or anything," Anzio called as he climbed out of the trough.

Her eyelids drooped to half closed, and she rolled her eyes.

"Yes you can," Anzio retorted. "I'm going back inside to dry off. I don't have any spare clothes."

Anzio went back inside the bar and sat by the fire. He was soaked. It would take forever to get dry, and he couldn't take his clothes off so that the could dry faster because Khainley was around. He couldn't even have a drink because he didn't want to be seen without his mask. All well, at least he was having fun. That's all that really matters.

She was also freezing, though, she didn't want to seem clingy. She should give him space. She could get oh-so irritating if she tried. She exhaled, and let the habit of her tail curling inward take place. Warming only part of her.

A shiver racked her spine, and she gazed into the moon, hoping for a distraction. Then... Inevidably... She began to sing....

"Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel light when you're gone away

As Anzio sat by the fire he heard something. Was that....singing? Anzio walked back outside and saw that it was Khainley that was singing.

"If you're so lonely why don't you come inside with me," he called. "It's warmer in there than out here."

She snapped out of a daze, a movement he might just find humorous, and smirked.

"Fo yo info, I was expressing my utmost outcastlyness in the form of a depressing musical!" She chuckled, and let her tail take a sway. A hidden message was behind her eyes. I don't want my presence to be of any uncomfortable pressure.

"Oh good. You're still here," Anzio said slightly out of breath. "Now come inside. It's freezing out here. Then again, that might just be because I'm soaking wet, but still. You'll get lonely out here by yourself."

She hopped from the chimney, but instead of summersaulting from the rooftop to the ground, she started toward him.

He looked like a wet dog. Clothes transparent, and she couldn't help but think about the mask.

"May I try something?"

She reached up, and touched only her fingertips to the mask. Then drew back. No... She should respect his privacy. Her paw then moved to his arm, and rested on it's damp surface. She could feel the lingering warmth of the fire.

Soon, she would begin to glow, pink skin illuminating like the dimmest of beacons. He would feel heat course through his veins, heated t warmth, instead of fire-like brightness. Then, his clothes dried instantly.

Khainley opened her eyes, pirate gold blinding, and solidified. The pupil not visible until the spell wore away.

She smiled, feeling suddenly lightheaded. "Lordy lordy. The things I sacrifice for you."

She then tripped and fell. Tendrils of wind wrapping around her form. "SHIT!"

The warmth that Khainley sent through him was one of the coolest sensations he ever felt. But before he could say anything, Khainley fell. Anzio dove for her and grabbed her arm, then they were both falling. Anzio latched onto the edge of the roof with his other hand, but their combined weights was too much for his shoulder to bring to a complete stop. The pair ended up falling anyway. Anzio made a copy of himself and sandwiched Khainley in between himself and the copy to keep her from hitting the ground. Sure enough, they did hit the ground, sending them sprawling and the copy vanishing. Anzio groaned as the pain in his left shoulder caught up with him. It was definitely dislocated.

Once she hit the ground, her breath was forced from her. She skidded, back slamming into a tree. She then heard a sickening crack, and pain shot from her spine. She couldn't contain the scream that broke out. Shrill and bloodcurdling. She arched her back, and rolled onto her stomach. Groaning while hauling herself into a sitting position.

Lucky her, she was too weak, and fell back down, Dislocating her OWN shoulder. "Fuck," she said through a hissed breath.

Anzio just stayed where he was lying on the ground. The world was spinning after his head's harsh encounter with the ground. As if a dislocated shoulder and a concussion weren't enough, there was now a crack in his mask.

Anzio suddenly started chuckling, obviously a little delerious from hitting his head.

"Well, THAT was dangerous."

"I think I would like a drink now."

Anzio picked himself up off the ground as best he could with only one arm and a swimming head. After managing to get to his feet, he took one step and immediately went back down again. He started chuckling again.

"This hurts so bad."

She could feel the tendons once teared begin to mend. She layed on the ground, facing the sky, and conjuring new constellations with her mind until she was more so healed. She looked up, and struggled to her knees. "Anzio. Let me help you..." This was said through a bursting breath, body spiking with pain at the sudden shift in posture as she stood.

"Anzio," she insisted. Her head was pounding, and she hurt all over. She couldn't deal with internal pain added to what she already had. "Listen, you have head damage. You don't really mean that, ok?" She said, tapping her head. Since she was standing, and he was laying, she dropped to her knees, gently brushing stray hairs from the forefront of his mask. She thought she saw a flash of skin through the crack when he moved.

"Hold still..." she said softly.

"The uneducated orphan can tell that you're pretty, so why can't you," he asked as he stayed still like he was told.

His head was still pounding, and it looked like the stars were spinning in circles, but he could see Khainley clearly. He couldn't understand why Khainley thought so little of herself, but he never mentioned it until now, since is logical reasoning has been temporarily disabled.

She closed her eyes in unison with an unsteady exhale. "Why can't you have your sanity when you say all this..."

Anzio chuckled again. His head hurt so bad and he cringed under his mask. So much pain.

"Shh. Please relax." She cupped the back of his neck, supporting his head, and pressed her index, and middle finger to his forehead. Tendrils of pink hair falling into his face, and circling her head as she closed her eyes, and chanted in kirn oh-so-softly. The same ritual of healing that happened to her, was repeated, but it took less time for him to heal. Once he was done, she gently circled an arm around his shoulders, and helped him into a sitting position. "Better?" she asked.

Anzio groaned as he sat up. The pain in his head had been reduced to just a headache and his arm was once again working as it should.

"Much better," he replied. "I think I'm done doing dangerous things for the day."

Anzio ran his fingertips over the crack in his mask and sighed. It would be difficult to get a new one.

What he didn't know was that she wasn't done. Her paw leisurely brushed over the crack in the smiling mask. As her hand gave way, it was as good as if he had just put it on. "There. Done..." She said softly.
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

Anzio ran his fingers back over his mask. It was as good as new. He didn't know what to say. No one had ever treated him so kindly or done so much for him.

"You've done more for me than anyone in my entire life," he said softly. "Why?"
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

She looked to him as best she could behind the mask. "Because I see potential in you. Good nature, and fun tendencies. You deserve a life to which you could live it like you want."

She smiled weakly. "We can't have you hurt right now, when there is so much danger to be explored. Of course..." She looked at herself and cringed. "Might need to refrain from doing that for a day... Or two... Or a week."

That was meant more to her then to him. She felt herself smile in spite of the pain. She hoped he realized she meant every word.

Anzio stood and offered his hand to Khainley to help her up.

"Let's get inside. There's a fireplace just begging to be sat by."

Although he gave no indication, he thought about Khainley's words. Good nature. Potential? That wasn't what he saw in himself, but he didn't feel like arguing. It was time for relaxation.

She silently nodded. Sliding her paw into his and allowing him to pull her up. She refused to look at him. Not out of anger, or hurt, or even embarrassment. Just to ensure he can't read her eyes. What she was thinking.

Anzio did not release Khainley's hand after helping her up, but continued to hold it as they went back inside. Anzio took her to the fireplace, grabbed a bench that had been sitting up  against the wall, set it down in front of the fire, and sat down. He patted the spot on the bench next to, indicating that he wanted Khainley to sit there.
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: pryatama aphrodite on March 07, 2014, 07:11:46 PM
She obliged. The bench only had enough room to accommodate the two of them, and nothing more. Her legs tucked underneath her, and her tail did it's wrap around motion, acting as a shield to prevent her from soaking up to much heat. Which, evidently enough, is repellent for kirn's like her.

She was almost flesh up against Anzio, and she faintly blushed beneath the layer of fur on her cheeks. The fire illuminating the silky shine to her pelt.
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

Anzio stole a glance at Khainley and noticed how her fur was shining.

"It seems that firelight works just as well as moonlight."

She looked at him from under her dark lashes, and tilted her head a bit. She knew what that meant. She looked back to the flames licking at the logs supporting them. He was... Only being nice... Yeah.... Nice.... Just an observation...

"You don't believe me," Anzio said. "Why do you doubt yourself? Who treated you so poorly that you have become like this? Do I need to kill someone?"

The last part was both a joke, and a serious question. Anyone that would act cruel to someone like Khainley deserves only death. She was one of the nicest people he had ever met.

She chuckled sadly. Wrapping an arm around her knees, and clinging to them. "Nah."

The lie hurt so badly, it left a pain worse then what she had experienced outside three minutes ago. Anzio didn't deserve anything short from the truth. And she was feeding him lies. Why does he find her so appealing?

"Khainley. I am an illusionist. I make my living through lies, deceit, and misdirection. You can't lie to a professional liar."

Anzio was struck with two emotions that he didn't often get: empathy and guilt. He felt guilty for making her tell him, and empathy for what happened to her, though he could never imagine how horrible it must have really been. Anzio wrapped his arms around Khainley and held her close.

"I'm sorry," he said softly.

She wrapped her arms around him for support. If not for Anzio, she would've fallen off the bench. "It's not your doing..." She replied quietly. Despite her hugging him, the tears never halted, but increased. Her voice wavering a lot more then she intended. She must sound so pathetic.

"I shouldn't have forced you to tell me," Anzio replied. "That was very personal information."

Anzio couldn't help but once again notice how soft Khainley was. He wanted to help her, but he didn't know how.

"Can you tell me where I can find him? I'll shove his own balls down his throat."

"And don't apologies. Everyone gets curious."

Yes, he did like to keep his face hidden behind his mask, but after what he had just heard, after what Khainley had just told him, wearing a mask paled in comparison.

Her eyes widened, and she looked up at him, searching his eyes for doubt. "But... It's your identity protection..."

She couldn't help the feeling of surprise and curiosity. She had been wanting to see what he was hiding. Judging by what she knows, he's merely obscuring something wonderful. But anyone would do anything to protect their identity...

She hesitated, lips parting in surprise. Ten, she leisurely reached up, and gently laid her paw on the familiar place where the mask overlaps his skin. "You want me to take it off? Or do you want to do it?"

She nods, then looks to what she's doing. Her paw lets her claws peek out, never making contact with the skin, as she hooked it over the edge and pulled it off, revealing what was the mystery underneath.

Without his mask, Anzio looked nothing like the hardened criminal he claimed to be. His face had soft, gentle features, and and seemed to have this look of innocence about it. The only feature that portrayed any sort of ruggedness was the scar that ran down the right side of his face. With the mask gone, Khainley could now see Anzio for what he really was, a lost child.

"So, do I look anything like what you expected," he asked somewhat sheepishly.

He was handsome to no end. Claiming innocence like herself. He was as lost as she was, and just as much of a child. "Anzio... Your perfect." She had to breathe a second before she continued. "I see no reason to hide yourself." She looked down at her fingers entwined in her lap.

"You'd have... a lot of women wanting you by now..."
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: Wicked Basket on March 07, 2014, 09:18:49 PM
Anzio smiled at Khainley's compliments. He felt weird to smile without being covered by a mask.

"I wouldn't say perfect," Anzio replied. "I wouldn't be winning any beauty pagents."

Anzio could tell by the way Khainley was acting that she was one of the women that would chase after him.

"You're very shy. Maybe you should open up a bit, let some of those feelings out. You'll feel better if you do."
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: pryatama aphrodite on March 07, 2014, 09:22:31 PM
She wouldn't chase after him. She would watch on the sidelines, perhaps wishing she could beat them all, but in his case, in a swarm of girls, he wouldn't give her a passing glance.

"You can predict pretty much all of them, Anzio. You're smarter then you interpret. Same with the mask, but different scenario..."

"I'm smart in some ways, just not book smart," Anzio said. "And I am quite good at reading people, so let's see what I can get out of you."

Anzio watched her, taking every detail, every minute sign, every slight movement.

"You're obviously interested in me, but you don't think you're good enough or you think that I won't find you beautiful enough. You still doubt your appearance."

"What if I did find you beautiful enough?"

"I've seen plenty of women during my robberies," Anzio replied. "None of them compare to you."

Anzio moved in close to Khainley. He took her hand with one hand, and caressed her cheek with the other.

"You. Are. Beautiful. You may not realize it, but I do."

On the inside, Anzio was scared as hell. He had never been so straightforward with anyone in his life until now.

Her pale gold eyes lifted to his, ones that she had associated the feeling of warmth and, for once in her life, safety. The hand he held was warm, as was the one on her cheek. Both touches careful. He may work up a good criminal reputation, but he can be gentle.

They were close enough to be breathing the same air, if she could remember to breathe. 6 inches was all that separated them. She reached up and gently brushed hair from his face, paw resting on his cheek. The look gave away, and she saw his fear for being straightforward. If he would listen, he could most definitely hear her heartbeat mirroring that said fear. Though, it felt... different then the fear she called normality.

If there was a time for acting on impulse, Anzio felt that the time was now. He doesn't know what came over him, but it was just something he felt he needed to do or be kicking himself in the morning. He kissed her. He closed the 6-inch distance that separated them and initiated his first ever kiss.

It was as if time had stopped. One minute, they were staring at each other, the next their lips our connected. She'd never, ever, EVER kissed someone. Not even family. They thoughtit shameful. And she looked at affection and love with fear. Fear of getting to attached and getting let down.

This was somehow extraordinarily different. A warmth spread through her, causing her already unhealthy heartbeat to increase. She twined her fingers into his hair, feeling the fire at her back, but emitting no affect.

Anzio was able to relax and fully enjoy the kiss once he knew that Khainley had signaled that she was ok with it by intertwining her fingers into his hair. Anzio wrapped his arms around Khainley and pulled her close as they continued kissing. He didn't want this moment to end.

She could feel both of their hearts through the intertwined threads of his shirt. When he pulled her against him, she knew she'd done something right, and felt as though the moment should be never ending. She snaked an arm around his waste, and sighed his name against their connected lips.

Both Anzio's heart and breathing rates had increased. He had never felt anything like this before. His heart was pounding so much that it felt as though it would crack a rib. Anzio slowly broke the kiss in order to meet his body's increased demand for oxygen, but he kept his arms wrapped around Khainley. He didn't want to let go. Anzio felt that since he broke the kiss that he now had to say something, but couldn't find any words. He simply stared into Khainley's eyes.

"I...uh...never did anything like that before," he said softly. "Was it too much?"

She had to pause to clear the blinding haze, and take in much needed air. Keeping her arms circling his waist. She'd seen many on the streets hugging, kissin, yadda yadda, and thought it wasn't a big deal. Always questioned why they felt the need to do something like that. Now... She was fully educated.

"No. For someone who hadn't done that before, you're pretty dam good at it." She couldn't find the will to look away. Not that she wanted to anyway... "Did I mess anything up?"

Anzio leaned in so that his face was barely an inch away from Khainley's.

"If you want to get better at something, you need to practice."

With that, he kissed her again. Now that he knew she was interested, he was a lot more confident. He never knew that the simple act of kissing could be so amazing.

"That's because men feel the need for dominance." She speaks the truth. She places two paws on each of Anzio's cheeks, and brings his lips to hers. A light, feathery touch. She started it, he can add to it. So meh!

Dominance huh? Then that's what she'll get. Anzio put one arm behind her back and the other under her legs. He then pulled her over so that she was sitting on his lap and leaning backwards while he held her, all the while never breaking the kiss.

"There's nothing wrong with being childish. Being an adult sucks."

Anzio brushed a strand of hair out of Khainley's face.

"You sure don't look like a child. You look like a fully developed, beautiful young woman. One who's probably going to blush now."
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: pryatama aphrodite on March 08, 2014, 01:49:13 PM
"N-No!" Of course came the summoning of the blush, with firelight licking the surface of it, that beamed bright crimson from beneath her pink coat.

Anzio laughed.

"Don't you just hate it when I'm right," Anzio quipped giving Khainley a kiss on the forehead.

It was then that Anzio noticed something. Something deep down inside of him, something about holding this woman in his arms. It was a warm sensation, and it felt really good. A question popped into his mind. Is this what love felt like? He had only just met her, but there was no denying this feeling. Did she feel the same way?

Her lips twisted into a scowl. "Ya know, there has to be a law stating the minimum amount of right's you can have in your life."

She smiled up at him sweetly, innocently. Only partially feigned. "But hey. It's fun to contradict you!"

"I'm a criminal. Even if they did make that kind of law I'd break it," Anzio countered with a smile.

The smile soon vanished as he thought about what he wanted to say next.

"Um...Khainley?"

She rolled her eyes at the comment from the lawbreaker, only then remembering his oh-so-frightening life of crime. Then his smile slipped, and she tilted her head a bit, tendrils of pink hair falling on her face.

"Hmm?"

"Um...Do you...Have...uh....Have you ever been....in love...before?"

Anzio was incredibly nervous once again, and without his mask to hide it. He felt that he might vomit, but since he hadn't eaten lately he knew he wouldn't. He had gone from never being interested in finding a woman to professing his love to one all in one day. It was an awfully big step.

She shook her head, answering without hesitation. "I'd have to say no. I haven't."

But she sure as hell was experiencing something NOW. She couldn't detect exactly what, but Anzio seemed to have emotions flitting across his face. She pressed a hand to his cheek, and let her thumb glide over his cheekbone. "You ok?"

"I...uh...I love you."

Anzio held her even closer and returned the kiss. She did feel the same way. A surge of warmth passed through Anzio. Someone loved him. Someone actually loved him and cared about him. To hell with loneliness. To hell with fear. To hell with darkness. Tonight, none of that existed. His presence alone was enough to block any negativity. Why hadn't she seen it before? She slipped the other arm around his waist. She would never... ever... let him go. And she felt that if he left, he would be taking her soul with him. But she knew he wouldn't ever leave.

Anzio had to break the kiss for air again. He really needed to remember to breath. He gently stroked Khainley's cheek and smiled.

"All these years trying to fill the gap in my life when I needed someone else to do it for me."

He hugged Khainley as a tear managed to escape and run down the scar on his face.

"Thank you, Khainley," he whispered.
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

She squeezed him reassuringly, running her paw along the muscles in his back. "Shh. No need to thank me, for I should be thanking you. For coming into my life and bringing humor, and fun... And love with you," she said quietly. Using her thumb to eliminate the tear, and it's track along his scar. To her, that mark was part of him. A perfect imperfection.

"18 it is," Anzio replied.

He carried Khainley to the room and stepped inside. There was a only one bed, and it was queen-size. She was a sly one. Anzio set Khainley down on the bed. He couldn't undress fully, but he wasn't going to sleep with all of his clothes on. He took off his coat, his shirt, and his boots. That should be sufficient for sleeping.

She sat up, and snagged the brush on the bedside table. "I'd kill for a mirror," she muttered. The bristles separated those mischief-like strands. Straightening them at their full length. Once she was done, she set the brush down. What was once straight, was now partially curly. Tendrils of pink swirled around her face, and she had to pat down the cascading waterfall of strands down her back to eliminate any static affects.

This had somehow turned into a kissing contest, not that there was anything wrong with that. Anzio had learned from past experiences and sneaked breaths between kisses to keep himself going. His hands ran up and down Khainley's tantalizing form as their kissing contest continued.

"If you say so," Anzio said with a chuckle. "I, however, still got the best prize."

Anzio grabbed Khainley's waist and pulled her on top of him so that he was lying on his back and she was lying on her stomach on top of him.

"I got you."

Tendrils of pink hair fell around their heads in a sort of 'barrier'. A sweet smile molded her lips, which were inches from his on account of the position change. His bare chest was warm against her's, for she couldn't help but notice.

"And that makes me the luckiest of women."

"That problem is easily solved, my dear," Anzio replied. "I'll just tire you out."

Anzio's arms wrapped around Khainley's lower back as he began kissing her once more. Anzio couldn't help but wonder if he would tire first, she did seem to have a lot of endurance.

She had a tolerance... But he was screwing with it. Her elbows supported her upper half, and she returned the kiss with all sincerity.

Anzio didn't think it was possible, but all the kissing they had done had worn him out.

"Don't you ever get tired," he asked. "How are you still going? You're gonna wear me out faster than a cheap pair of shoes."

"Yes. I do get tired. And you were cheap pink shoes?" She lifted an eyebrow, and looked at herself. She was wearing a really girly color.

"I wear a nice pair of quality blacks boots that I might not have paid for," Anzio replied. "And I'm finding it hard to believe that you don't get tired. I feel like my lips are worn out from all the kissing, not that I have a problem with all the kissing."

"I'm not saying that you started all of them," Anzio replied. "I'm saying that you have amazing stamina."

Anzio smiled and added "Maybe I don't want you to get off."

Anzio gave her a small squeeze and a peck on the lips.

"How could I be," he asked blowing on her face in return. "I'm to tired to fuck anything. Maybe."

Anzio grinned. He was somewhat impressed. He had managed to not make any innuendoes until now. It was a personal record. He was joking of course, unless she agreed to it that is.

"You are so adorable."

"Don't think I'm not getting ideas when you're lying on top of me and I'm topless," Anzio said with a sly smile. "I can't help myself. You're just so irresistible."

Anzio started thinking that he was being ridiculous, and that he was pouring on WAY more charm than was necessary. But, seeing that Khainley had not been complimented as much as she should have been throughout her life, he figured that he would make up for it. She deserved to know that she was desirable and that she was wanted.

She couldn't even begin to believe it. How... How the hell... Was she blessed with this man? Educate her, cause she got nothing!

Anzio had been expecting her to say something, but she hadn't. She just did some more of that hypnotic tracing with her her. Anzio simply smiled and pulled her down against him in a hug. He could have sworn that their heartbeats were in sync as he held her.

"A man like you should be illegal..." She muttered next to his ear softly. Smiling, of course.

You see, she knows of her fur's silky feel. The soft tufts that glide over anyone's touch (not that anyone had touched them)

But his skin was warm. Smooth. Two things she had come to recognize as comfortable. Thus, his embrace comforted her. And she wondered idly if the beat of their hearts were at the same time... It felt like it.

Anzio chuckled softly again. She was skipping the thinking part and going right to the speaking.

"You give me plenty of comfort," Anzio replied. "You've also given me something that I've never had before."

Anzio held her even tighter and closer and spoke so softly that Khainley could just barely hear him.

"Something to live for."

Again, she felt the tease of paranoia telling her there was space between them that needed elimination. Of course, her grip tighten ever so slightly. And his barely audible explanaition caused her to strain to hear. But, it was caught, word for word.

She breathed deeply, and matched the pattern of inhales and exhales to Anzio's. "And you've given me something I've never had before."

"What might that be?"

Anzio felt Khainley's grip tighten as well, eliminating any space that had previously been between them. He liked it when that happen. There was now nothing, not even air, separating them. There was just her and him.

"Life isn't fair, my dear," Anzio said with a grin.

What Khainley didn't know was that Anzio had just lied to her. He was, in fact, very ticklish, but he knew what would have happened if he had told her he was.
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

"Dam straight!"

She loved him, but he would have to deal with her experimenting. She reached over, and lightly trailed a paw down his side along his ribs.
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: Wicked Basket on March 09, 2014, 05:04:37 PM
Once Anzio discovered what her paw was doing he knew he was doomed. His ribs were the most ticklish part of him, and her fur made it even worse. Anzio involuntarily twitched as Khainley's hand ran down his side. He looked at her face and knew full well what would happen next.

"Uh oh."
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: pryatama aphrodite on March 09, 2014, 05:10:00 PM
She smiled sweetly. "You're a horrible liar."

Her fingers pressed hard onto his ribs, and began to poke him in said area. She would be smiling devilishly as she did so, of course.

Now it was Anzio's turn to laugh and squirm. He always hated how ticklish he was. It wasn't a very manly quality to possess. Anzio decided to put a stop to the tickling lest his sides become sore due to laughing so hard. He grabbed Khainley's wrists and rolled over, switching their positions. Now Anzio was on top and pinning Khainley's arms down above her head.

"I should have seen that coming," Anzio said short of breath from laughing. "But you are no match for my male dominance."

At that, she feigned what was a seemingly difficult struggle to free herself. "It's not over till the fat lady sings! And i cant hear a dam thing!"

She beared pearly white incensors in what was a dangerous smile.

"I didn't see an opera house anywhere, so I don't think there will be any fat ladies singing," Anzio replied.

She was putting up as much of a fight as she was capable of, and that smile looked dangerous. What was she planning?
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

It wouldn't be much fun in the telling, now, would it?

Her hands, pinned, body, pressed, it made strategy all the more complicated. But, while actions speak louder then words, conversing would eliminate full focus on such a tedioud task. "Granted, you have me pinned, I can't help but notice you ensnare me without the slightest arrival of my middle name," she muttered, clear and sultry, as if it were stated to a doe.

For you see, hypnotic transment, and enticement is what fueled her inner fire. Thus, they are her mastered skills.

"Care to provide an explanation?" she cooed.

"Rajaram," Anzio repeated. "Khainley Rajaram Meliorn. You have such a beautiful name. You make mine sound so boring."

Anzio smiled. It wasn't really sure why. Just being with Khainley gave him reason enough to smile. Never in his wildest dreams had he ever imagined finding someone that he loved and loved him back.

She grinned, all pearly whites and pointed incensors. An inch more of a wider growth, and they would sink into the flesh of her bottom lip. Sometimes, --and this was doubtlessly hard to admit-- she found plans concluding to her dominance reigning at a climax getting rudely halted. All because of a 'make you melt' cheeky grin. Dam you, Anzio. Damm... you...

She laughed lightly. "Ah. I wouldn't self depricate yourself yet."

Anzio chuckled.

"You're too kind," he said giving her a kiss.

Anzio then rolled off of her and flopped onto his back beside her. He then yawned. They still had not slept, and it had to be close to morning by now.

"I think I've shown enough dominance, and I'm really getting tired."

Anzio yawned again.
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

Her lips parted slightly. Deep breathing, mch different from yawning. She lay, back against the matress, hair a messy fan around her head atop the pillow, rigid. Though, it was only temporary.

She suppressed a sigh of exasperation, eyes refusing to close, but the pull of sleep, once unrecognizable, becoming increasingly demanding. "Sleep sweet, love," she muttered. Knowing full well she would remain consious, while he rested. But, not wanting to bat away his worry, she shut her eyelids.

Anzio rolled onto his side and wrapped his arm around Khainley's waist. He then pulled her into him so that she was also on her side and her back was against him. The contours of their bodies lined up perfectly and Anzio draped his arm over her and he gave her a kiss on the cheek. He fell asleep shortly afterward with their bodies fitting together like puzzle pieces.

She, of course, snuggled closer, body slightly curling so it was fur covered spin, to muscular, yet bare chest. She was content.

Two hours of just scattered mind as company, she saw a sliver of dim illumination emitting from the window. The sunrise, shunned by the closed velvet curtain. Though, she would rather die then move as of then...

Anzio gave no heed to the rising sun. He incoherently mumbled in his sleep and snuggled closer to Khainley, burying his face in her hair. It was a rare thing for him to get a decent amount of sleep, but he found that it was a lot easier with Khainley beside him.

She grinned shyly. When he was at a closer proximity, head burying in her hair, she felt a wave of warmth. She'd never met someone who would ever think to look at her the way Anzio did. Speak to her like he did. Touch her, kiss her... love her. No, she hadn't had anything remotely like that.

The fact of the matter was, she had it now. And it was something she would forever cherish.

She bent her neck a bit, head now against his collarbone. So this... THIS is what love is like...

As the sun rose, as it normally tends to do, the sliver of light peaking through the curtains eventually came to rest on Anzio's closed eyelids. The intrusion of brightness was unwelcome in the land of sleep, and Anzio stirred. He opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was Khainley cuddled up against. He thought to himself how he would like her to be the first thing he saw every morning. He gave her a small squeeze and a kiss.

"Good morning, beautiful. Sleep well?"

"Not the longest, but by far the best I've slept in years," Anzio replied giving her yet another kiss.

He made no move to get out of bed. He didn't want to. He could stay in that bed, like that, with Khainley for the rest of his life. He knew they would have to get up eventually, but he was going to delay that for as long as he possibly could.

She turned, a 180 so they were face to face, though, not daring to break the circle of his arms around her. She ran a paw through his dishevled locks, and smiled. Bed hair on him looked stunning. She refysed to acknowledge what she looked like.

She kissed him tenderly, and grinned. "You look HAWT in the morning, by the way," she said, mimicking the tone of a teen talking about taylor lautner.

"You flatter me, my dear," he said running his hand through her long pink hair.

"So, what do you want to do today? Swim in lava? Jump off a building? Wrestle a bear?"

"Anzio..." she muttered, "you don't mean that. Eventually food and water will win over me." She smiled crookedly against his collarbone. "But... I might as well make this minimalized time count, right?"

As they kissed, Anzio's stomach decided to notify those present of its need for nourishment as loud as humanly possible. The resulting obnoxious growl that came from his abdomen caused Anzio to start laughing as they were kissing. This, obviously, broke the kiss.

"I think that someone's trying to tell me something."

Khainley chuckled, and poked his abdomen. "Told'ya so!" She ducked from his encircled arms, and stood, having to clutch the tables edge for balance before strength replaced the numbness of disuse from her legs. Another chuckle. This one, having no trail of words.

She let her tail sway as she ran a hand through the static provoked hair of her's. She sighed, and snatched the brush, bending to retrieve his clothes from the floor. "Hang a sec, love." And she was gone. Behind the closed door of the bathroom.

Anzio simply enjoyed the view as Khainley entered the bathroom. Once she was gone he sat up on the edge of the bed and stretched. That had been the  best night of his life so far. Of course, men can never peep. Not even in roleplay. She rounded the corner, bathroom door left ajar once she was done. Only five minutes.

She tossed his clothes at his face with enough force to knock him over. To which, her hips swayed in a sashay as she slipped from the apartment to allow him some privacy.

Meanwhile, she descended the stairs, bar as scarily empty as it had been the night before, around the time she had gotten here before Anzio.

And she was proud to note last nights events never brought forth a blush!

Anzio was just about to say something when he was hit in the face by Mach 1 clothing, knocking him onto his back. Well then, this was war. He got himself dressed and slunk down the stairs. He crept up behind Khainley as she was reminiscing, wrapped his arms around her waist, picked her up, and spun her around. He then put her back down, but kept his hands wrapped around her and awaited her reaction.

"You outta what, my dear," Anzio asked with a cheeky grin spread over his face. "You hit me with clothing. I couldn't possibly let that go unanswered."

"Hey, you deserved it mister!"

Since his arms had not yet let her waist go, she pressed him against the wall harder, smiling ghoulishly. "My dear, I would advise a better route of thinking before intruding on my revere. One thing. You better be glad I love you."

"You have no idea how I am that you love me," Anzio replied.

Anzio moved his hands from her waist to the sides of her face and he gently pulled her in for a kiss.

"I love you too."

"Mmmhmm" was the only response coherently said at the time since his lips were in the way. BUT SHE AINT COMPLAININ!

Anzio broke the kiss and smiled. He seemed to be doing that a lot lately.

"I still need foods," Anzio said. "What are you hungry for?"

"Let's put the female stereotype into action, shall we?" She broke away, fully aware his question had gone unanswered, but slipping through the break with a subtle grin. "What will it be, kind sir?"

She mimicked a British bartender, accent coming easy since she'd been born in the Kirn Highlands of London. Her hip swiveled outward, paw resting on it, as she twisted a spatula in her other, unoccupied paw.

Anzio chuckled at her display. It was nice to see her shyness had melted away. She was so cute and funny, the perfect match for someone like him.

"What do you have?"

"Ah." She then switched to German. "Vell, Ve have some scrambled eggs, maybe a touch of bacon?"

And then, onto high pitched japanesian! "And maybe some orange juice?"

Anzio found it very difficult to respond while laughing.

"You know what," he manged. "Surprise me."

"Ah, yes! Yes indeed!" THIS time around, she was acting like Disney characters. Stitch was the lucky one chosen for that line.

She bustled around, banging pots and pans, until she managed to conjure a decent feast. Just what she exclaimed in british, Japanese, and german, except with apple instead of orange juice. "THERE! LOVE YOOUU! WELCOME!"

"Such excellent service deserves a tip," Anzio said.

He gave Khainley a deep, passionate kiss and then sat down with his meal.

"Won't you join me?"

"Perhaps that tip  might've sufficed. Though, I charge every three seconds," she said playfully. Debating a seat closest to him, or across from him. Hmmm....
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom
Post by: Wicked Basket on March 12, 2014, 03:58:41 PM
"Every three seconds huh? In that case I'll eat reeeeaaaallly slowly."

Anzio watched Khainley's eye movements.

"Shouldn't you get something to eat before you decide where to sit?"

"Not a problem. Don't worry." She opted for the closest chair, taking a seat. Upon closing her eyes, bare sections of the table shimmered and soon, exotic foods and spices went from transparent to reality, like a travel through a rift in visual time.

Anzio looked down at his food and then looked at what was now on the table.

"You could do that this whole time?"

"Yes. But I wanted to 1) make you awestruck, and 2) whip up a little something fer ya not using magical stuff. Don't worry, plenty variety here if you don't wanna eat that."

"I'll eat this," Anzio said quickly. "I waa just curious."

He grabbed a strip of bacon, folded it, and stuck it in his mouth. It was really good! For someone who didn't need to cook, she was quite good at it.

She reached for a breakfast burrito. And a soda. Eh...

Her face hardened. "Seriously, Anzio. You don't have to eat what I made. Plenty here, hun."

She knew how bad she was. And there was a hidden flush of embarrassment, no doubt, behind the fur.

Post by: Wicked Basket on March 12, 2014, 04:37:35 PM
"You took the time to make it. The least I can do is eat it. I'll get to that other stuff after this."

Anzio was determined. He would eat what she had made. It had been years since anyone had made food for him. He had always had to steal to eat before. It wasn't that he felt guilty not eating it, it's that no one had ever cared enough to give him a proper meal before. That breakfast, no matter how simple it was, was a luxury to him.

She shrugged. Biting into breakfast.

It didn't take long for Anzio to finish his breakfast and chug down the apple juice. He then moved on to the various other foods. He kept eating beyond the point where someone his size would normally stop. It was as if he hadn't eaten in days, which was partially true.

"Leave the table behind, please." She said, snickering a but, but otherwise keeping silent. It inwardly wounded her that he didn't seem to get plentiful nourishment.

After eating enough to satisfy a man three times his size, he was done. He slumped back in his chair and burped loudly.

"That........was delicious."

Anzio just shrugged.

"I'm not a lady," he said simply.

He then stood up and stretched before walking over to Khainley.

"So, how much do I owe for that lovely meal?"

Anzio hit the floor not entirely sure of what just happened. All that he remembered was that he was standing and then he wasn't.

"Well, I'm definitely paying for for it."

"Yes, you are." Had he not realized she had cushioned his fall? She winced, and smiled a bit. HE was on top of HER.

"It looks like you're hardly in a position to demand payment now," Anzio said as he trapped her beneath.

"You're all mine now."

Anzio nuzzled his face between Khainley's head and shoulder and began kissing her neck. He figured he'd switch things up a bit.

She smiled, and arched her back so she was pressed closer to him. Her paw entwined in the tendrils of his hair, and her mouth in a curly smile.
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

Anzio kissed his way from her neck, to just below her ear, and then across her cheek until he found her lips. He gave her an extra long kiss on her lips before he stopped.

"Let me guess. That wasn't enough," he asked with a smile.

"I was hoping you'd say that."

Anzio went straight back to Khainley's neck just like before. However, it he couldn't play with hair because he was using his hands to keep himself from crushing her. So, Anzio rolled over so that Khainley was on top and continued giving attention to her neck and ear as well as running his fingers through her hair.

She wondered if she imagined it, but she heard a small moan. Not sure if it came from her...

Her paws tangled in his hair, playfully yanking a teensy bit. Pleasure spiked through her, and she shivered, in the good way. Not fro the cold.

Anzio knew that he was doing something right when a small moan came from Khainley. Seeing no reason to stop, and since she obviously enjoyed it, he kept going. He ran his hands up and down her back and sides, enjoyed the smoothness and softness of her fur.

As it had been like in the room, the temperature increased rapidly. She pressed her lips to his forehead, and kept them there as her paws trailed leisurely down his sides.

Anzio chuckled as best he could with what oxygen he had.

He needed to rest just a few seconds more. Then he would start again. Only it she wanted him to of course.

"You really take my breath away," Anzio said with a grin.

"Precisely," Anzio replied standing up and then helping Khainley up.

"We can't let a full day just go to waste without doing anything at least moderately stupid."

Anzio grabbed his staff and his mask. He then gave Khainley a quick kiss before putting his mask on and taking her hand.

"Let's go. We can suck each other's faces off later."

"Oh. Pfft. Almost forgot."

She released Anzio's hand, pelt shimmering before it disappeared completely. Soon to reappear at the door, Khainley no longer Khainley.

"Hi there, hun." Khainley's new form grinned. She was brunette, hair curly at the tips, that reach for lower back. Her form was curvy, and agile. Skinny with the legs and shape of a model. She was adorned in a raven colored jacket, plain, atop a zebra decorated tee. Overlapping faded denim skin tight jeans. Eyes the same color of autumm, as Khainley's.

"You got accustomed to my other form. This is the real me."

With the same look of love she reserved for only him, she sashayed from the premises, leaning against a tree, and twirling a dagger skillfully through slender fingers as the door shut.

Had Anzio not has his mask on, Khainley would have seen his mouth hanging open. Only after she left the building was his trance broken and he followed after her. He approached her while she was twirling a dagger.

"A dagger huh," Anzio observed drawing his own.

"If you give me yours then I'll have three and I can juggle them."
Title: Re: A bar of social freedom

Her chuckle was half air, half sound. Like the soft ring of a bell. "This is a special dagger."

She flicked it, point jutting towards him, and the blade had grown sizes bigger. A golden aftershine, with intricate patterns along the blade, and handle. "Since I'm a shinigami shapeshifter, I bear weapons of this strife in every possible hiding place on my person," she said, each word previse with annunciation, as if she was reciting it from a scroll.

Her supple pink lips curled to a trademark smirk. "I suppose we should sciddadle before I sexify you into clarifying those places by a thourough search."

She licked her lips, tongue gliding over the barely visible cupids bow, bafore she turned and began walking. Not bothering to gaze behind her to ensure his trail.

"Twilight Island? Never heard of it."

As Anzio followed Khainley down the street, he couldn't help but enjoy the envious eyes that fell upon him and Khainley. 'That's right fellas, she's all mine,' Anzio thought to himself.

"Nonesense."

She retreives a device looking, from afar, like a cell. With the keypad, taking up very little room on the actual device, translated into the script of shinigami-sama. "We have to portal there. So, follow me. The sensor should depict the area location right about-" the rest of her words were drowned out by the insensitive chirping emitting from the sensor. Her lips twisted in annoyance, but she ducked into a clump of mis-shapen trees, body agile and quick.

Khainley swivled here and there, avoiding trunks, and dodging branches. They reached a clearing under a canopy of entwined leaves and twigs. The ground speckled with rays of the sun. "Here we are."

She brought her palm downward and flat against the ground, as a pentagram ressurfaced to it's former glory, glowing a deep shade of crimson, hinted pink.
