Title: A Sticky Situation!

The world outside his home was a dangerous place, and though he had been warned all of the years of his youth, the young moth fae hadn't a choice. He had to run- and run far, far far away from his home before the curse that was destroying it would consume him as well. But what mark was left behind charred his skin, and though he tried to ignore it by wrapping the dark, ash color behind a few hasty wraps, once the full moon was in bloom- the mark would remind him of his blight, and he'd be left screaming in agony before blacking out and waking up to an even greater curse.

This time when he awoke he awoke to the sounds of braying dogs. Somehow he had shackles on his hands, and confused, he scrambled to his feet, the chains rattling as he looked this way, then that. But one thing was clear through the fog that laced the forest- there were dogs hunting after something- and they were getting close.

Only seconds after he had gotten to his feet did he realize how light headed he was and nearly fell over, clutching a nearby tree for support. But the sudden howl of a hound that crested the hill behind him sent the hackles on the back o fhis neck to rise, and soon he was running for his life.
He nearly tripped over his own feet, which he cursed when he realized they were shackled too- limiting his ability to run as he was soon tripping over them and landing face first in the mud.

And he was seeing stars and eating mud- but the shock of the fall only lasted momentarily when the hound was upon him and bit viciously at his defending arm. Miersck let out a scream, kicking at the dog and did anything he could in hopes to get away from the attacking animal. But then a second one was upon him, biting into his wings and he felt one of them snap. The cry he made was soon accompanied by tears and his body was burning where the dogs had sunk in their teeth. And the only thing he could do was push away from them and try to run, hitting htem with his metal shackles- which made the hounds whimper and back away, if only for a second. But as the moth fae found some reprieve, the second he tried to scramble away, he slipped and began to tumble down a muddy hill side- and at the bottom, he groaned as he lifted his gaze to peer into the darkened mouth of an open cave.

The dogs, he could hear well above him, were soon running down the opposing sides of the hill so as to avoid falling intot he same fate as the moth fae they were hunting, and with a grunt, Miersck, the moth fae, pushed himself from the mud and stumbled into the cave, and just kept running, even in the darkness- where his eyes quickly adjusted.

But quick turns through the cave had him looking back, listening to the fading bray of the hounds before he suddenly turned around and found himself plunging head first into a wall of webbing.

Miersck grit his teeth as he felt himself pulla nd become more entangled in the massive net- and it didn't take a fool to realize just what sort of thing he got himself stuck within. Coming from a forest far ancient than those familiar to the world of men, there were spiders who made webs far greater than the size of this one-
But they were no less damning, and as he struggled, he cursed to the great oak tree, his chains rattling as they too, would soon become captured in this sticky, white web.

Archne's forest had been slowly withering away. Each year that passed there would be less and less food available for her to eat. In addition she hadn't seen any of her own kind in years and the loneliness was getting unbearable. Archne paced back and forth in her web riddled cave considering leaving this forest and finding a new one. "But its dangerous out there at least I know its safe here." Archne reasoned with herself. "Yea but the food keeps getting more and more scarce and I can't just eat humans more frequently. If I did that it would only be a matter of time before the village would hunt me down. Who's to say something worse than that awaits me in another land?" Archne continued to argue aloud with herself when she noticed one of the web threads move, which could only mean some unlucky soul tangled themselves in one of the webs that guard her many entrances.

Approaching the web containing her catch Archne noticed it was a human tangled up or and elf. She didn't know what it was not that it mattered. Archne was resentful of anyone who had a human like appearance. He seemed to have some wounds, that was no good. She couldn't have her future meal dying on her so soon. Archne used her dexterous legs to wrap him up in a cocoon from using surrounding web, she left his head exposed though. Why might one of her no existing friends ask, well because she was bored and this guy might entertain her. Anything was better than just pacing around asking what if all the time.

Carrying him deeper into the holding room as she called it, Archne attached the man upside down to the ceiling before resting nearby. "I'm doing you a favor you know? That little cocoon your in is going to keep you from losing a bunch of blood." Archne said while considering how to play with him. "In case your wondering I'm not going to eat you. I would have paralyzed you if I was going to do that. I already ate so I'm not going to need to eat for awhile. It gets boring around here so I've chosen you as my new pet. Tell me pet what is your name?" Archne asked. She of course was lying. She planned on eating him as soon as she got hungry again.

Miersck didn't even get a chance to properly scream when the wicked spider woman was upon him, but his muffled cries of alarm eventually did croak out after he found himself nearly choked inside a sticky cocoon. The world was whirling after that- a bumpy ride as the drider dragged him deeper into her den then attached him to the ceiling.

His face would have remained pale were the blood not rushing to his head. And the fact he was able to move his neck around- a subtle plus to this other wise very scary situation. The second he caught sight of the spider lady talking to him, his face twisted in confusion.

"You expect me to believe that!?" he spat, and soon was wriggling around withint he confines of her well meshed cocoon. "Let me go, you rotten acorn breath of a spider! Let me go! I'm not your pet. I'm not anyone's pet!" And he grunted, still wriggling. "Now release me! I don't have time for your games!" And he certainly didn't want to become her dinner- considering he hardly trusted anyone that was a spider as far as he could throw them!

Ugh, the irony of this 'moth winged' fae being stuck in a spider web. The very thought soured him and his wings would have wilted, could he move them, But they were painfully suctioned against his back, bond easily by her threads.

Rotten acorns- what horrible luck!

It was clear to Archne she had made an excellent choice in choosing to keep his head exposed. He was amusing her to no end. "I don't think you've fully grasped the situation your in yet. Can't blame you for that though." She said approaching up to him again. She began gently pushing him with one of her legs causing him to sway back and forth. She repeated this rhythm as she spoke. "You are my pet now which means it doesn't really matter what you think. Its probably not a good idea to insult me either. You might end up convincing me to eat you. Now if you don't tell me your name I'll have to assign one to you and I'll probably just go with Moth."

Miersck growled at her, and as he began to rock in his little cocoon, it only made him all the more volatile.
"What does it matter to you what my name is? You say you're not going to eat me, yet you'd keep me here as a toy? Rotting Acorns! I wasn't born yesterday! I know what your kind is all about! And most spiders like fresh meat!"

"Your not very optimistic are you? Lets say for a second that I am in fact planning on eating you. What good is it to dwell on that, knowing your demise is imminent and that there is nothing you can do about it. Would it not be better to think that you will be spared and hope that you may one day escape. Now to be completely honest the only reason I want to know your name is because I'm board though it seems I'll have to settle with referring to you as Moth. As far as I know there aren't any of my kind left in this forest so as you might imagine conversation is hard to come by. So Moth why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?" Archne asked with genuine curiosity. Archne of course continued to rock him. She found his predicament amusing and therefore wasn't planning on stopping any time soon.

Miersck was a stubborn one as he glared and bared his teeth at her.
"So I'm simply a convenient meal used for your amusement?" He struggled around, growing quite frustrated before he stopped, breathing heavily and glared at her.

Archne was disappointed with Moth's response. "You were here for amusement but your not doing your job very well. Maybe you just need a day or two to think things over." With that Archne departed. She walked off to her own room to call it day. Hopefully tomorrow he would be more in the mood to talk. No sounds around you, nothing moving around, and most of all you stuck in place unable to move anything but your head. It would be enough for Archne to beg for death.

Archne just remembered she had been in a situation similar to his before. There were people talking in the distance though so gave her something to listen to. Then there was also that boy who made her stay there so much more bearable. He actually conversed with her like she was just another human, like she wasn't a monster at all. He eventually helped her escape and she never thought to ask his name. With that last thought Archne drifted into sweet sleep.

Despite being able to see in the dark, the darkness was unnerving. Perhaps it was because it was too quiet, but he didn't get a wink of sleep, even if he had wanted to. Fear also drove him to stay awake, for fear the spider woman would.come back and try to eat him this time. He didn't trust her or her kind as far as he could throw them. Any creature that set such traps , to him, were like the devil themselves!

Archne arose the next day or maybe it was night. Not easy to tell when you live in a dark den. Still not hungry and board out of her mind Archne just paced around and daydreamed about the good old days back when there were still her kind around to talk to. She also dreamt of the forest recovering to its former glory and things getting lively again in the area.

It was a few hours before she remembered she had some entertainment and future food wrapped up in storage. She practically shouted with joy with the realization that she wouldn't have to spend the rest of the day in board agony. Archne walked into the room her Moth was stored in and poked his cocoon with her leg to make sure he was awake. "You ready to entertain me with some decent conversation yet? I can wait for months you'll start talking your head off eventually. You might as well start now and ease your own suffering."

Miersck bristled as he was tapped awake with the foot of the drider. His red eyes cut to her. If he was being grumpy before, he was always more so when he first awoke. ANd last night, he barely got a wink of sleep- though for all he knew, it was still night. Not that it mattered, he did prefer the dark with a flame to become attracted to...

But now was not the time to think of that! Baring his teeth at the spider, he struggled once again in his confining cocoon.
"I would be a better guest if I weren't tied up like some sort of prisoner, ready to be eaten!" he growled.

"Well I'm sure you can understand I can't give my new pet a chance to escape not till hes trained. How about we make a deal? You must be very uncomfortable with all that blood rushing to your head. If you start talking I'll put you down on the ground upright. Just don't pass out on me." Archne asked really hoping he would accept. If all else failed she probably would let him go just for a little entertainment.
Title: Re: A Sticky Situation!

Miersck grit his teeth, holding in a hot retort for all he was worth. He was actually going to untie him? Untying him meant a chance at an escape- and also,s he was right. His blood was really going to his head.

"It would make conversations a bit less predatory!" he snapped, which was the best he could do in a reply considering his predicament. But any other heated words he swallowed back still.
"Though I don't know what sort of things you'd even want me to say," he growled, adding that last bit in begrudgingly.

Archne pulled the string that attached her Moth's cocoon to the ceiling and let him fall a foot before catching him in her feet. She then put him down on the ground against a wall so he stayed upright instead of falling to his side. "How about we start with your name?" Archne said crossing her arms under her breasts. "You've been avoiding telling me your name for awhile. After that you can tell me about yourself and where you come from. As you might have guessed I don't get out often so I don't know a whole lot about the world."

Miersck felt his heart lurch into his throat as he fell, releasing a yelp once he was caught, then a soft, nearly inaudible hiss as he grit his teeth, realizing just how close he was.
"What? You're still going to ask me all of these questions without releasing me?" he said, looking quite indignant, despite her actually beginning to appear to 'warm up' to him.
"If you want to know my name, it's Miersck," he said through a sneer. "Though I won't tell you the rest until you get me out of this thing!" It made him feel like a sushi roll!

Archne was happy to finally know his real name though she had grown attached to calling him Moth so she was planning on continuing to call him that. She glared at him making his demand. "Since when did the moth command the spider" She thought to herself. Still she was board out of her mind. "Fine but naughty pets who try to run away get punished for being disobedient." She said sternly before eating the webbing that held him so tightly so that she may reuse it in the future. In no time at all the moth was free from his restrictive cocoon. "You looked much better all wrapped up."

Miersck, elated to be released, wilted a little at the sensation of finally being free. He had no feeling in his limbs, but as he wobbled before her, he began to feel the prickling sting of his blood flow returning back to his limbs.

But as his senses were coming back to him, he recalled just how she freed him-
eating the threads...
The very idea made him shiver. And it just reminded him how dangerous this situation really was.

So at her comment about escaping, he simply shot her a glare and tried not to fall over. Ugh, he hated this feeling, and his head was still spinning from being upside down.

"Yeah, of course I did to you," he sneered. "Much better as a snack roll, all wrapped up."

"Well hopefully now that I've given you a bit of freedom you'll believe me when I say your my pet not my snack. So loosen up a bit and tell me your story." Archne said annoyed with his stubborn insistence to be difficult. Archne sat down by resting on her thorax and abdomen.
Title: Re: A Sticky Situation!
Post by: visualspice on January 04, 2015, 04:19:49 PM
"Loosen up?" he said, still bristling but when he tried to move a defiant step forward, he felt dizzy and just stopped there. "Being someone's pet isn't exactly my idea of a nectar feast! You might as well just call me your slave, considering that's what this is- and I really have no choice here!"

Even though he knew (somewhat..) that he should really keep his mouth shut, his pride was too great, or maybe it was just arrogance, as he cast the spider lady a tempered glare.
Title: Re: A Sticky Situation!
Post by: Kitty on January 04, 2015, 04:31:33 PM
"Come on be more optimistic. Make the most of what your given or your just going to be miserable. Besides pets are much funner than slaves both in practice and in title. You are right you don't have a choice but look on the bright side I'm not going to eat you. Though maybe you want to be eaten? Is that why your giving me so much trouble, because its working your getting on my nerves. You certainly are making yourself out to sound like a better snack than a pet." Archne said getting back up and ominously approaching the moth. Pinning him to the ground with her legs she extended the stinger out from her abdomen and made it hover right above him just a few inches a way from stabbing into his stomach. "So what'll it be, a snack to keep me going during these hard times or an obedient pet who does as hes told?"

"Holy Forest Spirits!" Miersck exclaimed, eyes going wider than the tower in Uthlyn when he was pinned down and saw the stinger point at him. He could have sworn he saw the glint of poison on the end of it as he grit his teeth. His mind whirled and he found it difficult to breath, difficult to think. It was almost worth it to just give his life up now...

Except he was very afraid of death. Gritting his teeth, he turned away from her- his mind still rolling over his options.

Be her 'pet'... or die?
A fool would choose the latter, but in the moment- he found his tongue and mind unable to be used.

Well she succeeded in scarring him as any sane person should be, but he seemed to be so scared he couldn't answer or he couldn't decide an answer. Either way this didn't produce the results she was hoping for. She wondered how long it would be before he called her bluff. She still wasn't hungry enough to eat him and wouldn't dare waste such a precious meal just to prove a point. On the other hand though she really wanted some entertainment and this moth didn't seem to want to give it to her. She was about ready to tie him up and just forget about him till she was hungry, go find something else to entertain her. She decided to try one last approach.

"Maybe telling you a bit about myself will help" She said getting off of him and retracting her stinger. I was born with so many siblings that I couldn't even count them all. Unfortunately this cruel world took nearly all of them away from me. I often wonder why I was one of the few survivors perhaps its a curse to have lived rather than to have died. As you might have noticed the forest is dying. Food is hard to come by and I've resorted to eating people like you. There you go thatss my life story. Not a whole lot to tell."

Only after the stinger was gone did Miersck breath easy. He didn't realize it, but he trembled too. But he told himself that was just from the blood returning to his limbs. He looked up at the woman, not daring to get off the floor just yet as he closed his gaping lips and tried to swallow the dry lump away tht was trapped within it.

But something caught his interest in what she said, and he stared at her, his expression actually that of surprise.
"That's a lot of spider people to die." For he was well aware just how many a single egg sack from a female could produce. He couldn't imagine what had caused it, not that he asked, but he at least seemed interested in her rather than being snappy-

After all, part of him wondered...
At the mention of the forest's dying-
Was she from the same forests as he?

"Yes it is." Archne said with a sorrow tone. "I do not enjoy eating sentient beings like yourself. I do it because I have to. Its not a one sides as I'm the predator and your all the prey either. Apparently my web is very valuable and worth a whole lot of currency. Many have tried to kill me and not so that they can survive but so they can get rich. I was even captured once though I managed to escape. Don't get your hopes up though this is an entirely different situation. Besides not like I'm keeping you here for worthless money. Now your turn to tell your story, hopefully its longer and more interesting than my own."

Miersck hadn't expected her voice to show case anything but a dark, playfulness to it- and deceit. So when he noticed the sadness in her voice- and a sadness that seemed genuine, he actually felt sorry for the drider- though such a thought was easily drowned out by the doubt that still clouded his brain.

At her comment, however, to eat him, he peered up at her, a slightly tilt to his head as he registered her thoughts. But he couldn't help but growl out a soft reply, "It's still a choice. ANd you made it." He bristled, wings ruffling behind him before he glanced away- glaring over at one of the cave walls.

However, at the talk about being killing her kind for money, he tensed and felt some sort of pity for her since...
Well, he and his kind suffered the same. It's why they rarely left the forest. And the fact he had left...

Well, the circumstances had been dire. Still, it was a hard pill to swallow, that he and this 'enemy' of his kind should be similar to one another at all. And it took him a while to chew over his thoughts as he continued to furrow his brow.

Tell her a story? What was he to say. He simply turned his back to her and muttered, sourly, "My story's not that interesting. I just ran away from home. Most beings who have acorns for brains try that at one time or another. But despite what you think of me," he went on with a defensive sneer. "I hadn't a choice." And his lips sagged souredly, as did his wings as he continued to glare, much more angrily, at the wall, as he recalled the fateful night when he had seen the forest's disease himself-

And had been tainted by it.

He shivered, recalling the forest spirits warnings and internally tried to shake them away. But they were like a haunting echo, a fading scar-
something that just never could go away.

"Its still a choice." Archne teased him. She was disappointed he didn't have more of a story. Little did she know as time progressed she was growing ever so slightly attached to him even though she was doing most the talking and he had been for the most part uncooperative till now. It was like reverse Stockholm syndrome. Little did she know Miersck was also experiencing some of these symptoms involved with it as well.

"Maybe I should run away as well. This forest isn't sustaining me very well and its only a matter of time before the nearby village gets pissed off with me eating them. Would be difficult to bring you though. You would likely take off as soon as you saw the light of day again. And I sure as heck don't feel like dragging you in a cocoon everywhere."

Miersck snorted.
"Wouldn't it be easier to just let me go?" he grumbled. "Running away is best done alone anyway."
He sorta knew from experience..
Sorta!

Others... always complicated things.

"No actually it wouldn't be easier. I don't want to lose my pet" Archne said reverting back to her dark and playful way of speaking. "I would surly die of boredom without you. Though you don't seem to be very entertaining. I could always steal another pet. Though you just kinda walked into my door saying 'here I am take me' wish all my prey were that easy. Only problem is if I do capture another you two would prolly scheme a way out. Why can't you be a good obedient little moth pet?"
Title: Re: A Sticky Situation!
Post by: visualspice on January 06, 2015, 11:11:35 AM
Miersck growled, still bristling.
"Because I am not a pet. Brainless squirrels or chipmunks are pets- NOT fae," he growled.
"If you're that lonely, get a dog." He'd seen the way the humans of this world worship those disgusting animals. All he saw dogs as were sharp toothed flea bags!
Title: Re: A Sticky Situation!
Post by: Kitty on January 07, 2015, 03:33:35 PM
"Fae is that what your kinds called? Well fae I don't remember anyone ever saying pets had to be brainless. Maybe its like that in civilization but this is the wilderness. There are no rules out here except stay alive. An intelligent pet is much more entertaining. Unfortunately for me you are a brainless moth and not a very cooperative moth at that. I don't like to insult but you seem to be an expert at getting on my nerves." Archne said before sighing aloud and leaving the room to calm herself. She wasn't worried about him escaping. There was far too much sticky web at all of the exits.

A few minuets later she came back, her attitude and tone when she spoke was completely different. "You ran away from home right and I assume you haven't found a new one? As I've said this forest isn't cutting it in the survival department. What do you say we take journey together to find a new home. Not as my pet but as my traveling partner. I've kept my word not to eat you haven't I? I even let you free of your bindings."
Title: Re: A Sticky Situation!

"Get on your nerves!?" Miersck barked back indignantly at her fleeing form. "Who caught who in their web!? How do you expect a prisoner to act, huh!?" But she was already gone. Releasing a haughty breath, he began to pace about, contemplating escaping, but realizing what he was surrounded by.

"Rotting acorns," he muttered. "I have the worst of luck!"

Upon Archne's return, Miersck was simmering rather that boiling made as he shot a contemptuous look her way. It only became more venomous as she tried to pry into his story about running away from home. But what she suggested next made him stare at her, unable to speak, his lips ajar.

"What?"
Maybe this one was crazy. What on earth did she mean by THAT proposal?!
Title: Re: A Sticky Situation!
Post by: Kitty on January 12, 2015, 02:46:36 PM
"Do you need some time to think on it?" Archne asked a little confused. she figured such a proposal would have an immediate answer regardless of if you planned on deceiving her and escaping. "Um, I don't see how you can interpret my proposal in any way other than how I meant it. "Is it necessary to repeat myself. I want you to help me find a new home. You know much more about the outside world than I do."

Miersck face remained crinkled and confused.
"And I'm still confused on why you'd ever think that, after threatening to eat me and keep me as a pet, I'd just be all friendly with you." He looked the spider woman over before shivering, gritting his teeth some before looking towards the ground.

"And I don't know that much about the outside world," he grumbled softly, arms folded across his chest.

"Well yea, why not?" Archne asked.

Archne was a little sad he didn't know much about the outside world but it at least gave her something to say that might hopefully lighten him up. "Well we could learn more about it together."

At such a thought, Miersck clamped his lips shut. It almost appeared as if he were to be sick. But after a moment, he released a long breath and finally lifted his red eyes back to her.

"You know the outside world doesn't take kindly to us. Humans claim most of the land."

"I would have figured they would take far more kindly to you than me. Besides it doesn't matter to me. I can't stay here. I'll die eventually, probably in only a couple more months. I can't get you food here either no matter what you eat so your in the same boat. What do you eat anyways?"

Miersck was taken back when she mentioned death. He looked her over. Was she so old it was nearing to her time? Or... was it something else?

But at her last question, he grit his teeth and looked away again.
"I forage... berries and nectars mostly." He shifted uncomfortably. "Moth fae are.... er.. vegetarian. But I don't really eat many plants."And he made a face thinking about it. "Or all vegetables, as humans call them," and he sneered at the thought, really laying on his distaste in his tone. He folded his arms tighter. "Potatoes are just weird and don't get me started on carrots."

Archne had no idea what a potato of carrot was but she assumed it was either a veggie or a berry. "Well you aren't going to find a single berry or veggie in this withering forest. So do you want to die with me here or hopefully come with me and find somewhere to live?"

Miersck bristled, staring at the spider woman for a good long while before releasing a long, hot sigh.

"I'll travel with you, but I ain't looking for a home." And instinctively, he covered the wrappings on his arm. The mark that cursed him that was hidden beneath...
That was where his destiny would guide him. And well, the least he could do was agree to get out of this cave!

"Really?" Archne asked with surprise. She hoped he wasn't planning on taking off first opportunity he got. "Yay! alright I'll clear one of the entrances so you can get out without getting stuck. Would you prefer traveling at night or during the day time?" Archne asked before getting to work removing and ingesting her own webs.

Miersck thought he was going to be sick. Watching her eat her own webbing, as well as see her well- excited, it was just so strange to him. He almost didn't hear her question before he stammered, "Uh.. night. I'm nocturnal."

"Excellent night works better for me as well since it hides my black body from those who might want to try an attempt to kill me." Archne would say in between clumps of web. She noticed Miersck was a bit disturbed by this. "What its not different from you eating food. Its tasteless and lets me re-use it later. Anyways were in luck it happens to be night now so as soon as I finish this we can take off."

Miersck still looked green at the idea and just avoided looking at her altogether.
"Yeah.... sure. Well, I'm ready to go whenever you are."
And the sooner, the better! He wasn't normally claustrophobic, but this place was definitely getting to the better of him!

It didn't take long before Archne was finished clearing the exit of her own webbing. With that she walked out into the cold damp night and assumed Miersck followed. This was the moment of truth would he stay or would he run. Most likely he would run. She held out hope that he would stick with her instead though.

Miersck was more than happy to be outside of that cave. And to at least have the environment to make a quick get away, should he need to. But lucky for Arachne, he had injured his wing, and it would take some time for the poor, crumpled thing to heal- but only perhaps another day or two.

Then again, he could run, but given she has more legs...
and he still wasn't sure whether or not to believe she wouldn't eat him, he figured he'd at least, for now, risk remaining with her.

His red eyes scanned the forests. All seemed calm, the crickets chirping, the owl's hooting, and fireflies dancing lightly above the tall grass.

"Well, looks like we picked a good night to travel. So which way should we go? I'm not familiar with this area, so I'm not sure what direction there's a town to avoid."

"Well thankfully I know where one of the nearby villages are so I suppose we just go in any direction except that one." Archne said leading the way out of the forest in some slightly random direction. Assuming Miersck followed the two would eventually leave the forest only they had a welcome party waiting for them. "Well well well the little spider grew up and brought a gift for us too. Look at that boys spider web and moth dust at the same time told you it would pay off." A slightly familiar man said to the some 2 dozen people around him. "You didn't think we would forget about you did you? We knew you'd have to leave eventually and feasting on the villagers insured your doom and their not going to let me keep you alive either they want you dead. You shouldn't have escaped last time we caught you, you would have lived a longer life." The man said before giving the order for the group of archers to fire.

Archne swiftly turned around and curled her legs around Miersck protecting him. He was her traveling buddy and she couldn't lose him. The arrows bounced off her exoskelaton and the archers continued to lay down a constant barrage. In the mean time some of the close range fighters were encircling them cutting off any escape. Archne didn't know what to do. Maybe Miersck had a plan? She hopped he did cuz it looked like to her she was doomed. If she exposed her fleshy torso then that was the end for her and if she left Miersck that was the end of him.

Miersck couldn't believe what was happening as he found himself trapped beneath Archne as the arrow literally bounced off of her. Gritting his teeth, he shouted up to her, "Do you have a plan? Seems your friends want us dead!"

The humans threw a few bolas. One missed but two others tied some of her legs up. She now only had 3 legs to work with which wasn't enough to hardly stand. The arrows stopped coming and the gang closed in around them. The tied up Miersck and then one of the posed a question. "Uh boss how we going to move it and how do we open up her butt for the web." "We'll drag her and figure out the other thing later" The leader responded.

2 humans each took one of her legs except the ones that weren't tied down and began slowly dragging her across the ground. "Sorry Miersck." Archne apologized out loud.

Miersck could not believe his rotten luck! Not only had he just escaped ONE bad situation, but he now found himself tied up a second time and dragged off unwillingly by NEW captors! So at Archne's apology, he simply grit his teeth.
"Where are they taking us?" He growled.
