A couple of questions regarding Serenians' weakness to Iron;

1.) Does the weakening affect relate to alloys as well, like steel?

B.) I'd guess that considering the character I was thinking up is mixed heritage the weakening would be lessened even though Adelan technically were originally Serenians?

C/3.) What are the most common place metals in Serendipity?

Hope someone can help me with this, thanks.

1.) Just iron affects them. :3 Especially wrought iron. Once it's been melted down and carbon gets added (aka steel) then it's fine.

2.) It would be lessened to the point of not affecting Adelans at all, since Adelans are pretty far removed from Serenians at this point.

3.) Common metals? Steel is one, I'd imagine, but feel free to make stuff up. :3

Oh, steel is fine? XD In some books I've read, steel wasn't, so I base my characters on that ><  I mean I guess it differs from character to character.... I've a character whose half Serenian but also has has very recent fae in her  blood, so iron makes her nauseated. But there would be some people in the world with a similar linage and would be fine. Genes :X

Yeah, if you wanna have a character so sensitive they're affected by steel, that's totally fine! 8D

I figure it's like any allergy so there will be variations among individuals. ^^ Like some people with peanut allergies have to ingest it to be affected, while for some folks even being downwind of a fire cooking with peanut oil is enough to make them deathly ill.

So yeah! Some people are more sensitive than others. 8D
