It was late summer into early autumn, and the Red-faced Salmon were in their spawning season in the heartland of Le'raana. Sundog enjoyed the lazy old stretch of river that took her to their stomping grounds, and it was always well worth the journey, when she could trade the massive fish she found here for a great many goods from the small villages and the orphanage. And it meant she would see old friends on the way - the way the sun-scaled Leviathinian saw it, there was no downside at all.

It was after a long day hunting those fat, lazy fish and trading them fresh down the river that she stopped on the banks, tied her craft in the lazy water of a deep lagoon, and sunned herself on the grass, her mane spilling long around her. Her soft, elastic scales glistened in the warm daylight, and she was... Not completely satisfied. There was a pang there, an emptiness... But she had traded for some good duck - a lot of it - so that was alright. But it wasn't just duck she longed for.

Deep sapphire pools twinkled a bit as she opened them to stare at the setting sun's panorama of golden clouds. The girl had married. Sundog thumped her forehead very gently to try and hake loose of the thought but it didn't work. Sameline had married that tailor, and didn't even want to see her when she came. That stung a little... Okay, maybe a lot. Sunny had desired her so, thought of nothing else all year, and now a ring tumbled at the bottom of the ancient river, frightening crayfish. The mental image made her smile a tiny bit, but...

Sunny had wanted to be hers.

She'd never have believed it, but there it was. 'Serves you right!' a bitter little part of her said scornfully 'how foolish she'd been to think a human would be faithful!' But that part of her she recognized as her mother's hateful and fearful upbringing, and soundly kicked its ass out of her mind. She'd met the tailor, Mr Janes. He was a wonderful man and he could provide her with all she so very much deserved. Sam deserved it - and what could Sunny offer anyway? A choice of fish, worldly knowledge and a skillful tongue? These things did not a good life provide, and Sundog left it at that.

"Here's to young Mrs. Janes" she whispered, and smiled at the sky. A questing hand found the cider she'd obtained and quietly, without getting up, toasted, taking a generous pull of the delicious apple-flavored amber liquid.

Days came and days passed but something this morning made Vivianne think that something really bothersome would happen today but somehow it did not make her feel bad quite the opposite actually she somehow felt good about it, She did not understand it at all and tried to forget about it by hunting but even after a lot of hunting she had caught nothing and the feeling in her head had only gotten stronger.

-"..."

She sighed as she pulled aside a branch from her face as she made her way through the woodworks of the forest looking for food, Unlike her feeling from waking up this day not much had happened which just made her feel a bit paranoid for the bothersome thing to jump her any second now. A strange wind passed her sight and she locked her eyes on the strange wind, it was not like anything she had seen before it seemed that it was of a creature of mind meaning that it was not something she could hunt for food it also seemed to be female.

-"...Is this..."

She whispered to herself and moved out from behind some trees and bushes and looked out on the body of water and followed the wind to it's owner seeing the yellow lizard lady, Vivianne tilted her head and examined the persons form with a bit of curiosity. Then from nowhere the smell of food hit her nose and her belly instinctively rumbled loudly and she looked down at her stomach with just a hint of suprise.

Sundog looked up instantly at the sound of a growl, her soft golden mane shifting and cascading over her shoulders as she sat up, her graceful long neck curving to point her snout directly at the human windreader. The leviathanian gave her a slow, thoughtful blink, and, birdlike, she tilted her head. The confused look on the girl's face was... was...

Priceless! At a time like this she desperately needed a good laugh and it came in a rolling joyful mezzo-soprano peal that surged from her belly mirthfully. She rolled back, clutching her sides, and struggled to get her breath back.

"Please!" She beckoned, mirth abundant in her features "Come along, come along, can't have you creeping around my camp all evening!" She chriped gleefully. "Come, share in my meal! I could use some good company right now!" She offered. Boy was that the truth!

Vivianne looked up at the lizard girl who clearly had noticed her, she felt a bit annoyed that her stomach had given her away it was a bit if a blow to her ego as a hunter. But she decided to ignore that and walked over to the edge of the riverbank and began walking trough the water of the river over to the lizard girl. Vivianne thought that the mane that the lizard girl had was very pretty, that golden colour really speaked more than the wind did and that was very unusual for Vivianne.

-"..."

She struggled to speak but no words came to her and she found it very strange, it was as if she could not concentrate properly today. And that would bite her in the tush as she noticed to late when she stepped into a sinkhole under the water and going down under for a second, She surfaced and blew out the water in her mouth and she notice she did not reach the bottom with her feet and instead began swimming towards the lizard girl.

-"..."

This time she really had no words as she got up from the water totally drenched from head to toe, and very unusually she had an embarassed blush upon her face even though her expression was still neutral. she brushed her wet hair from in front of her eyes and then looking at the lizard girl, She sighed before removing her bow from her back and put it down next to her followed by her quiver and dagger. She stopped her hands for a second as if she hesitated before she began removing her torso armor and her pants as well, underneath she had simple undergarments a sleveless thin shirt on the torso and a loincloth like undergarment for panties.

-"...Sorry for the mess..."
