As they got higher into the mountains, Vyraena began to get cold even with the coat on. She moved closer to Kruz'Iik to keep herself warm.

"Something's not right. I think there's a blizzard coming..."

"If it's a blizzard, we need to find a cave now." Vyraena said.

His eyes started glowing, and he began to look around. The snow was starting to whip up around them, obscuring their visibility.

"This way!" He called, and pulled her along as he turned sharply to the left.

Vyraena chased after Kruz'Iik, staying right behind him the whole time. At the moment, she was focused more on finding shelter than thinking about what could have caused such a drastic change in the weather.

Kruz'Iik made sure to keep close to Vyraena. He knew mountain weather was treacherous, but for a blizzard to just come crashing in like this felt...unnatural. Most likely, the Formians knew they were coming. If anything, they probably thought they were just two curious travelers, and were trying to keep them from digging their noses in too deep.

Soon enough, they were in a fully formed, raging blizzard, and Kruz'Iik motioned for Vyraena to stay under his arm, in case she slipped or a random gust came rolling in.

Vyraena got as close to Kruz'Iik as possible as they kept going, using his body for support to keep herself from falling. With the blizzard being as intense as it was, she couldn't see anything very well. It would be up to Kruz'Iik to find shelter.

After a few more minutes of being battered by the blizzard, Kruz'Iik and Vyraena came to the entrance of a shallow cave. It must have been only a mere thirty feet deep, but it offered somewhat decent protection against the raging snowstorm outside. It was still cold as all hell, but at least they weren't being buffeted by winds or blinded by snow.

Kruz'Iik slumped against the wall, sitting down as he caught his breath.

Vyraena positioned herself right up against Kruz'Iik in order to stay warm. She was shivering from the storm they had just been in, and she wanted to warm up as fast as possible.

"It rolled in far too quickly to be natural..." Kruz'Iik commented, looking out towards the entrance to their shelter and the blizzard beyond.

"Perhaps...the Formians are manipulating the climate to help conceal themselves."

[Vyraena]

"Well, it seems we'll be stuck in here for a while." Vyraena said with a frown.

[DaGlobster]

Kruz'Iik tightened his arms around her, covering her more snugly. "Yes, it appears that way. We can always make the most of it, however," he said, looking down at her with his beady bull eyes.

[Vyraena]

"There are all kinds of ways we can stay warm, too." Vyraena said. "We'll have to figure out what the best one is."

[DaGlobster]
