Is it still too late to join? I could for example come as a spectator, someone related to the doctor which officially would be outside of the tournament.

Not too late! Aura seems to be inactive so you can replace him, the tourney is only on the first fight right now so you can easily be apart of the fighters. Spectator though...they're complicated. The only people on the island are fighters, the Grandmaster, and their workers.

If/when Aura returns, he can jump back in with Terenas, so we should just continue without him for now. But we shouldn't discount him just yet IMO.
