Although Kalali liked Ameena, she was alarmed and unsure about her now. She noticed the flush of life returning to her face and replacing the weathered skin she had had only minutes ago. She had heard tales of creatures with such abilities but this girl was human. Or, at least she looked human. She recalled the warnings of vampires and demons and fae that would trick people with glamours and hypnosis and was suddenly on guard.
"You look more well, Ameena." She said, doing the best to camouflage the uncertainty in her voice by clearing her throat. "I am happy you find my help."
