Traveling by boat to the mainland has made Vyeer sick to her stomach. The rocking of the ship and the motion of the waves made her collapse over the side of the railing numerous times and vomit whatever food she had prior to the night. She slumped over the rail with a green face and hanging on for dear life not to fall into the depths of the ocean. Her eyes glazed over and she felt her stomach rumble again as she was about to vomit once more.

Her sister had been kind enough to hold back her hair, also it was all for Vyeer to get sick so much. She was a natural avian flyer, but apparently, she didn't have a stomach for the sea.

"Why...the hell is this ship always rocking? Urk!" Her mouth puffed up and she spewed over the side once more, mixing fresh ocean water with a dry heave that she spit from her mouth. The soft pats on her back from her sister were welcoming as she pointed out that they would be landing soon. Vyeer thanked the Dragon Gods that they would be getting back on land until they had finished their business with the Dragoon Assassins, they had to hide their dragonic traits.

As the ship rocked into port, Vyeer cursed to herself as she stumbled lightly across the wooden plank that reconnected to the land. She was stood there and stoned herself in a stalwart stance and looked to her sister. "Come, Erith. We will need to continue through the city. We are still being hunted." Erith had fashioned them with clothes that would help them blend in the world of Serendipity. Scarfs helped hide their head and hair, and their bodies were warmed from the fabric by the cold breezes that were blowing through.

As they traveled, Vyeer would shake her head several times at Erith telling her not to touch anything. She was a curious girl, always was, anything she could get her hands on to play with and just being a silly girl. But there was time for play and time for serious business as well. As they passed through the city, it opened up to a large festival. A vast number of colored tents were set up, many people moving and going, clapping their hands at different attractions were stationed all over the place.

Vyeer's eyes got really big and wide as she looked at all the people. She was the paranoid one of the two. "E-Erith...stay by me. Erith? Erith!?" As soon as her eyes had fallen off her sister, Vyeer could see her scampering away towards one of the tents. Vyeer motioned quickly towards her, her rough hands extending out and pushing people out of the way as she clawed at Erith.

"Sister! No! We can't stay here. We need to keep going. There is a chance those Assassins are here on these grounds looking for us. We might be away from our Homeland, but we could still be hunted. We must keep going..."

Traveling was exciting for Erith who hadn't had much of a chance to explore the outside world since her youth and childhood.  She didn't really know much about people, about foreigners, about other races and cultures which made her that much more excited to see the world.  Unfortunately for her sister though the exciting journey she was experiencing wasn't quite the same for her dragon sister.  Holding the woman's hair back every time she wretched, Erith felt some measure of sadness, but she herself seemed fine, not even worse for ware.

"Erm... Are you okay Vyeer?  It's strange to see you like this."  She murmured with a perked brow.  Unlike Vyeer, Erith was perfectly fine, blinking as she saw her sister struggle to deal with the rocking ship.  Oblivious to the reasons for her sister's struggles, she could only hold her hair back and try to hum a soft tune to soothe her.  Like an airhead, Erith seemed to always have a strong resistance to sickness and illness, like the saying dummies don't get sick.

Being told that they needed to hurry though, reminded that they were being chased, Erith nodded in understanding, they certainly were after all.  It caused her to cheerfully reply with a sweet smile, believing everything would be alright without fail. "Don't worry Vyeer, we'll definitely make it out okay.  All we have to do is stick togeth-- Hey what's that?"  She couldn't help her head jerking to one side the moment she saw the glittering of an accessory on display.

Her thoughts as an artist rose to the surface, as she skipped with a sunny smile.  Trying to see what it was that was so sparkly, she just took a sharp turn as a detour to see it for herself.  After all if she found out the material, or the polishing method, she would better be able to understand the finishing process!

Naturally the moment she disappeared, her sister would be somewhat aggrieved pushing people over to try to reach her.  It made her hesitate when she was clawed at, feeling her sister dragging her away from that glittering prize. "A-Ah, Vyeer, no fair, it was too sparkly, you can't blame me this time, look at how shiny it is?  Those evil people set a trap for me clearly."  She spoke, instantly trying to pass the blame with innocent watery eyes.

Within one of the merchant stalls, Aislynn began to set up her own wares to sell during the course of the festival. The tall Starstrider elf was filled with joy and glee, her feet beginning to move of their own volition as she set up multiple pieces to be sold. She had been particularly productive that week, producing a few paintings that were sure to sell and hopefully enough funds to purchase more supplies. She was always running out of paint and canvas. Lynn wasn't particularly fond of staying in one place for long, after all and the only time she didn't feel her wanderlust was when she was painting or performing. A few notable pieces stood out from her wares. One painting, she was particularly proud of and she decided to place that one on an easel for display.

That particular piece was a landscape painting, depicting the seaside town she kept a small residence in. Depicting the bright coastline in early spring, the colors glittered on the canvas, with the aquamarine foam of the waves rolling in and then a young maiden standing on the beach, barefoot, waiting for her sailor husband to come home. Lynn had a bit of a gift when it came to capturing such moments in her mind and then duplicating it on blank canvas. Once the painting was posed on the easel and a starting price posted, she stood back and surveyed her work.

Dressed for practicality that day, the pale elf wore a midnight blue blouse and her black leggings, paired with short, heeled black boots. Her long white hair was pulled back away from her face, in a loose chignon. She found her mind at peace; that was, until she remembered she was due to perform in a few moments in the merchant square with the other talent to attract more customers and draw in more business. Lynn mumbled to herself and shook her head. "Always seem to get side-tracked. Well, least I'm not late this time. That has to count for something, right?"

As Lynn went back within the shelter of her own merchant stall, she knelt behind her chair and table she set up for other wares and pulled out her pack, beginning to shuffle through it. She paused and looked up, hearing voices at the stall next to hers. She held in a soft laugh. It was the familiar sound of two females, playfully arguing with each other. Growing curious, she peered outside of her own stall and saw two rainbow haired ladies browsing wares; mostly jewelery and metalwork pieces. Lynn grinned and chuckled to herself. "Cute." She murmured softly to herself in thought and a slight smile pressed on her lips. It reminded her of her own sisters back home. Ah, how she missed the twins. But, the Songsmith didn't have much time to ponder such fond memories. Instead, she pulled her lute out from behind her chair and she began to head for the middle of the festival, deep between rows and rows of merchant stalls and then the space set up for fellow performers.

Lynn became overwhelmed with the sensation of color and sound filling the small square and juncture of the festival. She could see several familiar figures; fortune-tellers, jugglers, other singers, a few dancers and even a couple of mages entertaining with illusion and light shows. The pale elf headed for the clear space meant for her and she settled in, pulling the familiar weight of her lute between her pale hands. She then began to sing a folk song, strumming the strings of her lute and she fell into that dream-like state of playing, without much thought given. Her free hand kept track of her rhythm, tapping against the wooden side of the instrument and the Songsmith diving into her art.

Carry on gold dust woman
Take your silver spoon
Dig your grave
Heartless challenge

Pick your path and I'll pray
Wake up in the morning
See your sunrise loves to go down
Lousy lovers pick their prey

But they never cry out loud
Cry out
Did she make you cry?
Make you break down?

Shatter your illusions of love
And is it over now; do you know how to
pick up the pieces and go home.

There was a quick roll of her eyes, Vyeer was not gonna be lured into her sister's argument and blame game and paranoia. She was already dealing with more than enough of that with her own thoughts and constantly looking over her shoulder. When her sister argued about the items and the possible trap, she could only sigh and shake her head. A rough hand landed on the tresses of her hair and rubbed it gingerly.

"Alright, alright. But we have to be careful around here. There are those who wish to do us harm. Don't get too carried away and don't run off again by yourself! I will have to slaughter everyone here just to make sure your safe and that will draw too much attention. Especially when I am still trying to get the majority of my powers back." Vyeer would sweep a hand over her sister's cheek to dry away the moisture from her tears if she was actually crying that is. Her sister was known to be a good pretender to protect herself.

But she still couldn't detach herself from her sister, no matter what happened. So she shrugged and nodded her head. When she folded her arms and stood straight up, there was a careful look on her face when a blue-skinned woman was walking by. There was no eye contact between her and the other, but she seemed to be heading off in the direction towards the center of the festival.

"You like to sing and dance, Erith. Why don't we go see what the Mistrals are up to then? But as I said, don't get too carried away. I don't think they would appreciate a Disaster Dragoon coming in and messing up their show." Erith seemed to be in a chipper mood now that she was given a little slack to enjoy herself. Vyeer would do anything to see her sister smile all the time, so it was only natural she would give in to her temptations even if they were dangerous. But since the other night, that special release the two shared, Vyeer could feel her powers within once again and perhaps having those kinds of relations were the key to unlocking more of her powers.

Though she could not confront her sister about it, she did not want her to feel uncomfortable about that if it meant gaining her powers back. But she didn't seem to not enjoy what they were doing. Perhaps they could talk about it later. But for now...they had a show to watch.

"Come, Sister. Stay close." The Elder Dragoon Sister took the lead of the two siblings and lead them through the thick mess of roaming and traveling people. Vyeer kept a steady eye on the blue girl who was in front of them, carefully pulling the robe over her head to disguise her face with a dense cloth. She turned to see if Erith was right behind, and she was.

As they stood at the edge of the center, the music began to fill the air and the enchanting singing accented the environment and atmosphere with a jovial light. However, the lyrics were a little over her head. Vyeer was not a learned woman, she was a hunter and a fighter. Words and singing were not her strong suits, but she could accept the fact the music was beautiful and the elven woman was also attractive in her own way. It added to the music and the instrumentation.

The Miasma Dragoon would look to her sister and smile briefly and gave her a kind nod if she wanted to dance around in place or do something fun. She would just have to stay vigilant on the other people in the crowd. No doubt the other Dragoon Lords have already put a bounty on their heads, more so Vyeer would have the heavier price since she did most of the killing.

There was a silent sigh as the atmosphere was mixed with her own thoughts such as what to do after this. They were still on the run, but it was getting annoying to have to constantly watch their backs. Maybe she should mount an attack...or perhaps leave her sister somewhere and fight the Dragoon Lords herself. The woman would look down at her hand, forming a fist as her eyes narrowed. If she could just get a little more power...she could probably deal some real damage to the others. It would at least buy them freedom.

Erith blinked, when her sister wiped the moisture from her cheeks, she smiled brightly.  She certainly was a good actor, but it didn't help that her feelings were a little honest.  There was at least some reality behind her playful attempts at passing the buck, but the tears weren't out of concern, but more that her sister might be upset that she wandered off.  "Muu, Okay... We'll have to figure out how to make you better again, but what to do?" She asked grabbing hold of her sister's arm, as if trying to lead her around like a date, her soft chest pressed into her sister's arm while she hummed in her own thoughts.

Certainly if it was a situation in which she could help, she'd want to be of some use to Vyeer.  The strong woman took good care of her after all, and Erith herself had a penchant for causing problems rather then trying to solve them.  For all of her power of song and supporting as well, the best she could do was reinforce and strengthen rather then genuinely heal.  There was no way for her to put a bandaid on whatever happened to be bothering Vyeer now.

She couldn't help sighing a little, feeling it was her misfortune for being useless in this time of crisis, making things worse even.  She was a little down but tried not to let it show on her face even though her efforts were largely in vain.  She had a firm pout on, her gaze a little distant as she lost herself in her thoughts.  It was probably noticed well by Vyeer who offered to let her play around instead.  Again she felt a twinge of guilt for her sister constantly looking after her, but she tried to brush it aside for fun, the best she could do now at least was have fun and smile so her sister didn't worry quite so much.

It was among the line of minstrels and bards that Erith perked her brow in concern and confusion.  With so many of them playing at he same time would it not drown out their songs?  If they tried to be an individual at these moments would it not ruin the quality of their work?  It made her feel a bit of sadness and pity for these artists, as if a superior looking down on the less able, Erith who tried to pursue the peak, to reach the zenith of possible potential, this was something that evoked a sense of sympathy from her.  They should be given places where their sounds and only their sounds could reach the audience, they should be given some kind of place to grow and flourish their talents.  Thinking this, Erith's pout deepened just a little-- The festival was nice and all, but it triggered her sense of righteousness as a creator, it provoked her adorable and completely non-threatening fury that was little more then a kitten swinging it's clawless paws at the stuffed mouse.

It was unfair!  She thought but in the end, had nothing really that she could do to stop it, nothing she could do to try and show them the way.  It was clear everyone was happy in their own way, they were all doing what they loved.  Was it right for her to try and interfere with that because this was contrary to her aesthetic?  For a moment, she mused-- completely forgetting about her sister's warning and concerns as she sank more and more into the line of thought of being an artist and helping fellow creators understand.

What if she showed them?  If she played a piece that could rise above the chaos?  Did she have the ability to do it yet?  She didn't know, but the thought was a little appealing, trying to show the way for people to reach the next level made her smile, after all, being happy was important, but for people trying to perfect a craft, trying to grow as an artist, there was more that was needed!  Simple practice wasn't enough!  There needed to be discipline, inspiration and a place for them to develop before being released into the world.

But Erith didn't have an instrument, didn't have any tools.  She had to leave all of those behind when they fled in the chaos.  Her sister had taken her from their home before she could prepare any luggage or equipment.  That made her pout adorably again, at least until she came to the lovely elf woman who was playing a lute.  She had a nice voice, played good sounds, it was very earthly and fun music, Erith wouldn't talk down about her efforts if asked to critique them for certain, but she was simply the closest one that she could reach out to.

Suddenly rushing to Lynn's side, Erith didn't hesitate to hug the stranger with a bright smile.  Erith herself was dressed in a peculiar fashion, very revealing silk clothes that showed off her soft pale skin and tender appearance.  Her eye color was a bright and amethyst purple color that matched her hair that seemed to seethe and writhe with different shades of the color. "Hey hey, can I borrow your's for a minute?"  She asked, her voice sweet as sugar and warm a nice heavy blanket in the cold.  There was something to it when she spoke, something that made it resonate, that made it sink deeper when she spoke.  If Vyeer had been watching her closer enough to see the shift in her hair and eye color, she'd know dangers of allowing her to speak and sing in such a state, but she still happily tried to urge Lynn to help her from the tips of her toes to the top of her head.

Maiden of Loss

Aislynn was pretty deep into her song, her secondary Voice ringing out in proud and vibrant tones, her soprano tone being pushed to its limit. Once she reached the apex of the folk song, she let her aquamarine eyes wander over the crowd and she focused on Erith and Vyeer. She tilted her head slightly, studying the two women; even while finishing up her performance. They were a pretty unique sight, even in the diverse land of Serendipity. The two had horns and colorful hair that certainly stood out from the rest of the crowd. Lynn's lips twitched with amusement and curiosity, her sea form eyes sparkling. Once the song was finished, Lynn lowered her lute and bowed, letting the gathered crowd clap for her in praise.

Once she was finished, she continued watching Erith and Vyeer playfully bicker with one another. She couldn't help but be reminded of the twins back home; no doubt missing their older sibling. The bardess sighed softly at this thought, feeling a little momentarily homesick. It was a feeling she didn't get often but once in a while, it snuck up on her.

Lynn snapped out of her thoughts and she glanced to the other artists and performers. She noted Erith's expression of concern and confusion; empathy, even, as those amethyst eyes of hers took in the other artists. While she wasn't certain what would happen next, the empathy did make the elf smile a bit and she found it sweet, even, Erith's concern for those that were rarely thought about and whose art often tried to brighten another's day. It was something of note and Lynn wasn't one to forget such things. Empathy and kindness went far with the blue elf, and it intrigued her, even. She deeply wanted to know who the two were and while one looked a little displeased with her sister, the other took time out of her day to try and brighten her sister's and others' moods.

The Starstrider elf seemed a bit taken back and astonished, even, when the colorful Erith approached her. The bardess tilted her head to the other side, considering the two sisters and the other bards and performers, before her sea foam gaze returned to Erith. Lynn gave the brightest smile and a slight blush crawled over her pale cheeks. When she was wrapped up in Erith's arms, she blushed a bright red and her eyes widened. Still, it had been a while since the pale elf had any physical contact at all and she slipped an arm around the pretty lass. The bardess stammered a bit shyly, still quite taken back in surprise.

"S-sure. You can borrow My Lady, if you want. Er, that's my lute." She chimed softly in response, a wide smile stretching upon the elf's lips. Who were these two? Lynn was both astonished and deeply intrigued; both sensations a little foreign to her and rare, even. She cleared her throat softly and then pulled back gently from the stranger's embrace. With a bright smile, she held out the lute and offered it out to Erith. That blush remained and she felt strangely compelled to help the strange and intriguing purple-eyed violet-haired lass and the elf seemed to just go with it. What harm could it do? She could always afford another lute and while My Lady was special, unique and dear to her, it was just an item that could be replaced. If Erith's intention was to spread joy, who was Aislynn to stand in her way? With little fanfare, she decided to hand Erith the lute and she gave a little smile towards the two.

Vyeer had little knowledge of music and the arts unless tracking a monster down and slaying them was considered an art? So when it came to music and the singing, and the instrumentation, she drew upon her arms and folded them over her massive chest and watching with mild interest but not enough of it to break from her previous state of mind where she was thinking of gaining more power and to counterattack the Dragoon Lords who would eventually have a bounty on their heads.

Her dark eyes shifted to the growing crowd and she grew uncomfortably anxious as so many people seemed to come from all over the festival to listen, to watch and even join in to dance as the songs were being played. The blue elf woman from before seemed to have made an appearance and her voice seemed to carry over all the others as if enchanted.

The Miasma Dragoon knew little of the elf-folk and their ways, although she knew they were cunning and were graceful fighters when provoked. She had met a few of them before but she didn't remember seeing of the blue types. Vyeer was capitulated by the music by the songstress. The words giving meaning to her present predicament but at the same time made her stomach flutter, almost as much as it was when her sister touched her privately. She could feel that mild sensation build up around and she got lost in that voice and the music.

When the clapping and cheers resounded when the song ended, Vyeer blinked rapidly and was brought back to reality. She unhooked her arms from one another and clapped gently noticing that Erith was making a B-Line towards that same blue elf.

"Oy! Erith!" The younger sister made way towards the young woman as they moved through large masses of people to get to the lute playing girl with the snow of white hair. Vyeer nearly grabbed Erith's arm to make her slow down but when they were finally at their destination, Erith hugged the girl and asked for the lute to play.

"Don't hug strangers, Erith! I apologize for my sister she can be a little touchy." Vyeer's voice was not as pleasant as the sweet tone of her sisters. It was more commanding, authoritative and less jovial, but had a strong demand for respect when speaking to others. They were of a noble house after all, even though Vyeer sometimes had 'forgotten' civility. She had apologized to the lute player and allowed her sister to engage in conversation.

She once again turned to her sister noticing the small changes in her hair and eyes, and of course, she was getting antsy and wanting to show off some of her own skills. Vyeer had to step in, of course, having Erith do these things would probably end in a disaster in some sort of fashion. So she leaned into Erith and spoke, "Sister. Do be careful, like I said, we don't want to draw too much attention to ourselves."

Vyeer flashed her eyes towards the woman, "This is Erith and my name is Vyeer. Thank you for being so nice to my little sister, she doesn't get out much and I'll make sure she doesn't her My Lady." It was odd to call an instrument by name, but perhaps it was not so odd since she sometimes called her weapons by names. Those powers were locked behind a wall of energy within her though and unable to manifest but all in due time. The long curly locks of vibrant flame colored hair unfurled before her and her eyes narrowed at the blue elf woman.

Erith was mighty close to her, and even hugged the stranger who the blue elf woman did so in return. That girl better watch herself, Vyeer would not hesitate in ripping her in half one way or another.

Erith very happily accepted the Lute, though was interrupted by her sister before she could get started playing a single note.  It made her pout cutely in reaction, Erith was indeed a living disaster after all, but one wouldn't happen all the time after all!... Or so she hoped. "Muu, Vyeer is being mean.  When have I ever damaged an instrument or tool." She complained back, and to an extent Erith was correct, she'd never usually break her equipment, just everything around her if something happened to occur.

Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately though, Vyeer had turned her attention away from Erith to apologize, and with a sweet smile, Erith brought her hand to that Lute.  Playing a few simple and gentle notes, like a simple lullaby or music box at first, the notes were rhythmic and repetitive at first as if she were adjusting to a foreign instrument.  Her voice even came out delicate and gentle to match the earlier sweetness she spoke to Lynn with as her song started only after she was confident in knowing the notes of the instrument.

"I pirouette in the dark, I see the stars through me.
Tired fanatical heart, beats til the song disappears."

It started docile and quiet, but Erith's crafts rarely remained such.  Finally having equipment beyond just her hands and her own voice, her nature as a living disaster could finally peek through the surface.  The purple drained from her hair and eyes, replaced with hair like roiling blue waves and eyes like glittering sapphires.  As her confidence in the tool to withstand her performance grew, her voice rose with the notes.  Despite her delicate appearance, it was strong enough to cut through the sounds of the festival like a blade, to sheer through other sounds as it gathered strength with every note and lyric.

"Somebody shine a light, I'm frozen by the fear in me.
Somebody make me feel alive and shelter me~
So cut me from the line, dizzy, spinning endlessly.
Somebody make me come alive and set me free~"

It got more intense as she passed through the chorus, the air becoming heavier, the song creating very real pressure in the air as it was sung.  Though she had a smile on her face, her gaze changed from that usual docile doe like gaze into something else, something that only Vyeer had seen in the past while watching Erith work.  The sharp gaze of a sovereign power, the atmosphere of a high class royal, a figure filled with strength and potential that grew fiercer as her brows furrowed.  Demanding more of herself, pushing further in an attempt to reach perfection.

Only once the chorus ended, the build up of increasing volume and sharpness bared down all at once as she played the Lute.  Her hand flicked across the strings, moving at a high speed, the speed Vyeer used to fight and kill was revealed when Erith played the Lute.  The notes came out amidst a heavy reverberation that made the air shake and turn.  Bass that couldn't have come from the Lute shook the ground as Erith's eyes began to emit a dull Blue glow she was oblivious to.  It was an atmosphere Vyeer would be somewhat familiar with, the dawn of a disaster.

Soon, cracks began to form along the Lute, but the wood itself wasn't splintering, instead, it seemed like blue veins were rising to the surface from within, a rhythmic throbbing matching the base could be seen.  Matching cracks appeared at the corners of Erith's eyes as that dull blue glow brightened.  People close to Erith would be the first effected, finding their skin or face cracking in different places.  Some grabbing their cracked ears in pain, other grabbing their eyes as the redness in their eyes began to turn blue.  Some twitched as their arms or legs began to have blue Veins rise on their skin.  The Blue disaster was largely beneficial, normally it wouldn't cause any problems, but a person suddenly experiencing enhanced eyesight or hearing would be overwhelmed if they weren't skilled enough to deal with the change.  If Erith wasn't stopped, the disaster would spread to more, strengthening them, but perhaps frightening them with the changes in their body as time passed.

Maiden of Loss

Aislynn quickly gathered herself and judging from the venomous look Vyeer gave her, the blue bardess had crossed a bit of a line and that was closely noted by the Starstrider elf. Given the earlier study she had given Vyeer, Aislynn wasn't about to test her. The red-head certainly possessed the deadly gate of a warrior and if the two were more than just sisters, she wasn't about to test the limits. Deciding that she would rather stay alive and not be punched in the nose, Lynn quickly recoiled away from the hug Erith gave her and she cleared her throat softly.

"It's really no problem." She responded softly to Vyeer with a small smile. "I'm Aislynn. It's nice to meet both of you." The elf's lips lifted into a warm smile and she offered a polite nod in greeting to the two. Goodness, she thought, the two couldn't be more opposite from the other. If she had indeed stepped on a metaphorical toe, she had a feeling she would rather stay on Vyeer's good side. The woman really did give Lynn a look like she would tear her limb from limb and this caused the blue elf to take a step back from the two at a polite distance.

Though she greeted the two with a warm smile, the older elf couldn't help but be rather amused at Erith's eagerness and even the feigned innocence she had to her. Lynn raised a brow. Was the innocence real or feigned? She couldn't tell yet, not from a glance, anyway. But she had a feeling that she didn't want to know. Though the remark about drawing attention to themselves made the other white brow furrow out of curiosity. Aislynn was about to open her mouth and ask about the remark; that is, until Erith began to play.

Rather than interrupt Erith's performance to ask about the remark, Lynn slowly shut her mouth and listened to the music with avid curiosity. Her brows relaxed, even if her thoughts did not; the lyrics, however, held her complete attention. Her lips curled, her expression shifting to one of curiosity and empathy, even. The blue elf's eyes widened when she felt a sudden shift in magic around the three.

"Uhh. Vyeer. What's going on? I seriously feel that and...it doesn't feel quite right." The two centuries blue elf had no clue what was happening or what the whole festival was in for. Suddenly, it was as if the whole land shifted or the aura around Erith transformed. Lynn began to feel rather uneasy, shifting on her feet and her body preparing her to run. She couldn't resist it; every instinct in her whole lithe frame was warning her and her newfound friends to run for their lives. Being sensitive and in-tune with magic, Lynn could feel the uneasy and unnatural shift in the air, as Erith's lyrics began to gather strength.

When the air got heavy with the pressure, her aquamarine eyes widened and the elf lifted her hands, shielding her ears from the magic buzzing through the air. The lyrics and music were undoubtedly lovely but Lynn was acting like an animal reacting to a building storm; the pressure could be felt over her own body and soul. It even seemed to bother her second Voice and the poor Songsmith whimpered, in a mix of pain and uncertainty. "Please stop!" She begged, straining her second Voice in the process, but it was far too late.

The Chaos and Disaster invading the air filled up the poor elf's lungs and her pale skin grew paler still; it was as if her whole body was having a negative reaction to the magic and her sensitivity to the Disaster seemed heightened by her own magical abilities and the elf didn't know any way to shield herself from it. Once the magical aura grew and grew; then, as someone deeply attuned to magic, Lynn felt it implode over the whole area. Her pale body shook, feeling her own alabaster skin begin to crack in places and sapphire blue veins formed along her skin; bulging beneath it. Her hearing and eyesight became too much to handle and the poor inexperienced elf wasn't sure what to do. Her whole tall frame began to feel heavy and faint; too heavy, that she couldn't even run away from the Disaster.

The Starstrider's body certainly wasn't reacting well to the sudden changes in her body and the magic thrummed through her veins. She suddenly felt cold and very numb. The pale blue elf tried to shout to Vyeer out of desperation. "Please make her stop! Dear stars, what's happening?!?" Lynn shrieked in a frenzy of utter panic and fear. A sudden wave of wild magic began to surge through the whole festival and their surroundings, causing the ground to shake. Or maybe it just seemed to be shaking. In either case, the wild magic surged too quickly for Lynn to escape it and tendrils wrapped around the pale elf.

Lynn felt uneasy, being wrapped in tendrils of that wild and blue magic, but her frame still felt heavy and she couldn't move or escape it. She felt a bizarre tingle travel through her torso, up her frame and then around her upper chest. She had no idea what was happening but she did her best to try and shield herself from it with her own magic. The bardess felt the magic transforming her, too, changing her body in some form and entrapping her.

Then, a moment later....a wild shriek escaped her lips.

"What the hells are these things?!" She exclaimed and she quickly wrapped her hands around herself, blushing furiously. The magic had given her...breasts of all things?! Lynn felt panicked and faint at best. She looked left and then right, hugging her arms around herself and holding in another shriek that could very well worsen the current disaster. Only her will power kept the pale bardess upright and standing, still wrapped up in the chaos of this very odd magic surrounding them all.

Folded arms remained so as Erith started her music. The sweet notes fled from her mouth and soon began her mastery of the Lute. She had not seen her sister play such an instrument before, but she couldn't help but tap her foot to the melody. That was to say until her dragonic eyes read Erith like a book. She knew her sister better than most and when she was into something, the entire material plane would shift.

Enchantment rolled off her tongue and the sensation of pressure began to build. There was a low growl from the Miasma Dragoon as she shot her sister a dangerous look, a warning, "Keep it down...Erith..." although her words would find a way like an arrow, it was the heavy atmosphere of the enchantment that would split it in half and her words coming out muffled and dull.

Vyeer could sense it all too much, her heightened senses making things unclear and muddy in her brain as the music began to cascade and ripple through the plane of existence. Vyeer had barked at Erith once more, but she was too into her mastery to just simply drop things. Even the poor blue elf girl, Aislynn knew very well something horrible was going on. The Disaster Dragoon known as Erith was coming in full turn, her bright colored manifestations slowly turned into sapphire heat and the energy poured off her like a venomous web.

It was not only Lynn who was falling for Erith's magic, but the others seemed to fall dead on the spot while listening to the music. Screams erupted when bodies just tumbled over or would be pulled as the Ether Veil would snap and crumble. Tendrils of hot energy whipped around everyone frantically like tentacles spewing forth from a mighty Kraken! The energy was intense and Vyeer could not maintain herself much longer.

As Erith was going through her transformation, Vyeer fell to her knee. There was a pulse inside, like something growing and awakening. She felt it wrap around her heart like an icy hand gripping her insides. She grunted loudly and began to sweat from her forehead. Flaming hot red hair began to churn and mix into a black silk and ash and death seemed to manifest around her.

The souls of the deceased were sucked into her mouth like a vacuum as her body began an eery glow of purple. Poison seemed to seep from her eyes and a dark haze would begin to spread from her hands as she slowly began to transform.

She had to help the people, but more importantly, she had to stop her sister! Moving with swiftness until black fire wings erupted from her back, the Miasma Dragoon taking on a new hybrid form as black scales burst through her skin. Her long clawed hands moved for Erith and the instrument, My Lady caught in the grasp and immediately shattered in her hand as she held it. Wood became ash and then with dark glowing eyes she stared at her sister, "Forgive me, Erith! But I had warned you of this!" Forming a tight fist, she thrust it into her sister's belly claiming her enchantment and devouring her magic in a single blow causing her to topple over in her hand.

Her unconscious body fell limp over her arm as she tossed her Sister like a rag doll towards Lynn. With a clawed armed reaching for the sky, she bellowed a ferocious dragon-like roar that was inhuman. In her hand manifested a dark glaive. As she stood there almost resonating with a dark energy pulse. Her blacked eyes saught the blue magic that had escaped from the Either Veil. She twisted and turned her glaive in her hand masterfully and sped forward as the tendrils of energy came forth. She flew into the midst of the dense energy and began to fight off the energy.

Every swing of her Glaive was like chopping off an arm off an octopus. It left a dark energy that was consumed for Vyeer to eat and absorb into her body. She knew the others would not have a favorable fate. As the Either Tendrils would snap and lash out at the citizens. Some would explode into dust, others would fall over dead, other would be consumed in the horrific disaster and then spat out only bones and flesh leaving their souls to the whims of the Other World.

Vyeer opened her mouth when she felt full and a burst of cataclysmic energy erupted from her mouth as black fire fought back a wave of massive energy. She roared like a dragon as the smoke billowed around her and she turned to see the devastation. The land had been purged and the veil of energy to keep the two dimensions separate had begun to repair. Her body turned to the others as the yells and shrieks manifested over the wave of energy that was slowly dying. Vyeer sought for her sister and took her by her unconscious hand and swung her over her shoulder.

When she heard Lynn another time, she turned back and wasn't sure what happened until she saw the massive chest threatening to decimate her clothing. That shirt was way too tight for breasts of that magnitude, even rivaling Vyeer's own. She growled and ran forward, her hand reaching out towards Lynn and grabbing her by the arm as they flew off a small ways away from the devastation.

Finding a small section in a forest north of the festival, Vyeer dropped both her sister and the blue elf on the ground. She turned and fought back her own energy that was seeping everywhere from her body. The poison that she was consumed in that made things horrifying to the mentality of those who sought her began to recede slowly. Vyeer has to concentrate. The bots of magic were fading from her body and the black scales were shifting once more until she could see more clearly. A naked torso was found as the black hellish hair turned vibrant with red flame once more giving way to the natural color.

Vyeer moved to her sister and dropped down to her knees, "Damn it all...not again..." Like it was a normal everyday occurrence for this sort of thing to happen. Although she might have put too much power into her fist. Vyeer leaned over and slapped her sister in the face a few times to rouse the sleeping woman. Then her eyes motioned for Lynn and she stood, the thickness in the air was still heavy and those eyes beamed down at the down heavy chested Starstrider.

"And now...what to do with you..."

Erith kept playing, happily, a little obliviously to the things happening around her as she usually was.  All she thought about was putting on the best show she could, to make a song that was enough to draw everyone's eyes.  A song that could do more then just warm someone's heart and lift their spirits, Erith had always pursued music that could genuinely support people.  Unfortunately she was hard pressed to know just how much was actually supportive until it became self-destructive.

Erith's Blue Disaster blessed many with great strength, insight and abilities, but few people were strong enough to contain the power suddenly forced upon them, few could really react in time or prepare themselves without any warning like this.  The blue veins expanding through their body, overwhelming them as people lost their lives.  The air and wind being empowered until the space around them didn't seem able to contain it creating rifts and tares.  Inanimate particles banning together gaining strength as they came together as tendrils and tentacles to try and maintain their independence not wanting to revert back to what they once were.

It was pandemonium, disaster, something Erith was familiar with but hardly recognized until it was too late.  Being punched though was naturally enough to stop her, almost losing her lunch in the process from surprise as she passed quickly, eyes shutting unpleasantly at first until she was thrown to Lynn.  Despite being so petite and small, Erith was on the heavier side for a normal woman.  All of that draconian strength compressed into a small package made it so.  Though in reaction to the sudden attack her outfit seemed to react.  The formerly soft silk and fabric changed color becoming a sharp yellow as it began to move, even growl as her long sleeves and sash began to explore and measure the surroundings watching for threats.  While Erith was in danger, her outfit would never stay docile, it was it's own disaster that reared it's head when Erith was in danger.

Fortunately, Lynn wasn't much of a threat, the girl herself on the verge of a nervous break down didn't stimulate flight or fight in Erith's clothing at all.  Instead, Erith fell comfortably against her chest, grabbing onto the girl's body in her discomfort.  With a sharp arm movement, the sound of clothes taring could be heard as she ripped down from Lynn's collar before settling in, hugging the woman tightly as she usually did while asleep.

Her sister had managed to fight back a great deal of the disaster's effects, allowing them the room to leave, though as they escaped, Vyeer and perhaps even Lynn would hear an otherworldly screech behind.  From the village's center, a large crack was beginning to form, as a creature began to breach the surface from below.  Like a large worm, the creature had scales here and there, other times flesh, other times furs, it was hard to distinguish the creature's true nature.  That squealing roar echoed as it tried biting and taring into the blue tendrils, feasting hungrily on them, clearly drawn by the blue energy.  With two heads, no eyes and a strange mouth that seemed to have a pair of beaks and a spiraling interior filled with teeth it stretched it's large frame through the town, trying to eat as much of the energy and those effected by it that it could.

With each gulp and each creature, blue veins along it's body grew more pronounced.  A small nub where it's pair of heads met began to squirm, as if a third one was struggling to force it's way into being.  Luckily they didn't have to see the creature for long though, escaping to a safe place away from the chaos of the unfolding disaster.

Erith had spent her nap happily grabbing onto Lynn and snuggling in, a soft cheek pressed to the girl's generous chest during the transition without a problem in the world.  Only when she was slapped did she suddenly blink herself away.  "O-Ow, Vyeer, slapping is mean.  If anything I'm the one who's supposed to--"  She murmured, the rest becoming indiscernible muttering as she rubbed her cheek with a soft pout like a child who had been scolded.

Maiden of Loss

Between Vyeer shifting into what looked like a huge, black dragon hybrid and her chest now sporting large breasts, poor Aislynn herself was torn between utter shock and just plain having a panic attack. She turned to Vyeer and her aquamarine eyes hardened, then the bardess inhaled softly and finally, she spoke. "What. In the abyss. Are. These?" The Starstrider elf gestured to the extra flesh now hanging from her chest and her blue eyes narrowed into slits. Between being shocked and just plain irritable now, she wasn't sure what to absorb first. "And what are you?!" The bardess burst out, her secondary voice ringing with her tangible panic, anxiety and shock. She had absolutely no idea what was going on, between Vyeer shifting, the sudden magical transformation and not to mention, the very heavy woman resting on top of her now.

A sudden kaleidoscope of emotions tore through the very shocked bardess, rendering her eerily silent for a moment or two. She gave a huff and when her shirt tore, Aislynn gasped. She raised a pale hand and poked at the nipples now crowning the tops of heavy breasts, the bardess suddenly letting out a loud, piercing and keening scream.

"What are THESE?!" Her secondary Voice screeched out, not in her usual delightful soprano tone but utter shock. It was clear the Starstrider elf had never seen bare breasts before, let alone nipples. Aislynn's jaw dropped slightly and it stayed there, her eyes wide. It was out of sheer and utter shock that she didn't pass out right then, deeming this a dream.

"What did you do to me?!" She shook Erith awake from her slumber, holding her suddenly and giving a firm shake to the other woman's shoulders. Poor clueless and unexperienced Aislynn had no idea what was going on, between Erith snuggling up to her and Vyeer eyeing her like she was about to be devoured. A notable, red blush rose to pale cheeks and her lips parted softly. Really, between the shock and confusion, curiosity and even more surprisingly, arousal rose within the elf. Lynn never really had the chance to explore her sexuality and a pretty woman laying on top of her? Well, talk about confusion. She had no idea where this was going and the whole day had been too much for Lynn to absorb.

Her white brows rose and she murmured softly in confusion, the elf giving another notable poke to her pale breasts, watching them bounce and jiggle. Her brow knit even further, torn between puzzlement and fascination. Still, the nipples themselves weirded the Starstrider out and from the look on her face, Lynn genuinely had no idea what they were.

"You two are the strangest creatures I have ever come across." She gave a soft sigh and then an inhale. She decided to gently lift Erith off her exposed chest and lay her down next to Aislynn, before the pale elf rose to her feet. She had no idea where they were or what it meant for any of them after the chaotic disaster of blue magic. For once, Aislynn was entirely confounded and her pale cheeks flushed further as she realized her shirt tore.

Lynn coughed softly and her gaze turned to Vyeer. "Don't suppose you have any idea of where we are?" It was clear from her expression and the inflection in her voice, the bardess was still entirely in shock. Her eyes went wide once more, as she tried to gain balance on her feet and then nearly fell off kilter, thanks to the newfound weight of her body's transformation. She felt conflicted and entirely exposed, not necessarily in a comforting way and she barred her tiny fangs gently, groaning.

Between the chaos roiling about in the air and the many, many questions asked by the Starstrider, Vyeer had been the only one who had their head on their shoulders and was thinking. But she could not think with this persistent bitch droning on about not knowing what happened to her chest.

"Breasts! They are breasts! A bi-product of Erith's Blue Disaster that is no less than eating and consuming everything in its wake below. I am not nearly as powerful as I can to take that on. Either it will feed and feed and eventually kill everything off in the land or it will feed till it bursts to send poisonous magic throughout the land and killing everything in the radius."

With Erith awake and giving her a scornful look, she could not keep that face along with her sister pouting and rubbing her cheek where she laid a hand on her. She sighed evenly though somewhat labored from her manifested powers that had come from the awakening of the blue magic, but as much as it had come to her quickly, the power had faded and she could not transform like that again, not unless she got another boost in Blue Magic which could certainly be even more disastrous than the previous. This is pretty much what happened when Erith was left to her own devices.

With a long hand sweeping through the long flame-colored hair, Vyeer moved and sat on the ground looking out to the monstrous creature that was born from Erith's muse. She rolled her head over her shoulder, "This can not stand, but I do not have the power to take it on myself. We will have to let the land die and hope the creature will move back into the void. As for where we are...I can't honestly say. I only wanted us to be safe." Vyeer said, tilting her head back slightly just to get enough of a glimpse of the female who's breast size now rivaled her own.

Eventually, the land below will be scarred by Erith's Disaster and then the land will probably fester. She could not do anything to save the souls of those who died unwillingly in the participation of this creation and that was a loss she cared little for. What concerned her the most was that this event would likely send a message to the Dragoon Lords and would alert of their activities at the festival. Vyeer scrunched her nose and her brows were a tight cluster as she furrowed them.

With a hand on her knee, she lifted herself up and back towards the two others. She folded her arms over her chest and leaned her weight on one side of her body as she looked down at Lynn, "Erith can fix you up some garments so they will cover your chest. We can't do much and I am not sure how far the next town is. We might have to break camp here for the night and try to move on early in the morning." There was a sudden glare from the Miasma Dragoon towards Lynn, "That goes for me and my sister. Your company is not wanted or desired." Of course, with how much Erith enjoyed Lynn and her music there would come an objection and then she would once again fall into the clutches of her sister's pouting face.

"However, you may spend the night with us at our camp...we did kinda sweep you into this."

Erith continued to pout until she noticed the tragedy in the distance, a deep frown on her face as she watched that creature writhe and wiggle.  Clear disapproval on her face until her sister began trying to explain the blue disaster.  Erith couldn't help puffing her cheeks up, her sister didn't understand at all! "W-Well, some of that might be true but-- But my Music doesn't do that!  My music that creates the Blue Enchantment only strengthens things... That's all." She murmured clearly a little deflated.  She knew well her magic only ever reinforced and strengthened things.  Looking back at that monster rampaging through the city that would eventually suck it clean of energy and life, she couldn't help shake her head in disappointment.

"That... That thing just comes out every once in a while when I do too well for some reason.  It tries to take the magic for itself every time and always causes problems-- M-My music isn't supposed to do this."  She tried to argue.  Back when it first attacked her, it had been small enough for her to fight head on, but it kept appearing when she played music, trying to abscond with the magical forces she created and even attacking her as the source.  It was a constant headache for her, and one of the larger reasons her music that was meant to be helpful became so harmful.

Clearly depressed though, she reached up for Lynn's exposed chest, giving her large mounds a strong squeeze, kneading and rubbing idly as she tried to explain.  As if her hands had a mind of their own, she would play with Lynn even as she tried to argue her case. "We're a bit far out from town it looks like, far enough at least to be safe-- I wouldn't recommend going back."  Erith murmured with a dry self-mocking laugh.  Taking the time to lift a hand to Lynn's hair, she gave her a smooth pet and stroke, slipping her fingers gingerly through the woman's hair, her soft sweet voice calming as she tried to pet her into relaxation-- Even if she still continued groping her with her off hand. "You're okay though, it' safe here, right?"  She assured.

Though hearing Vyeer offer to let the woman join them for sleeping, Erith suddenly tried to give the woman a sharp squeeze with her fingers once more.  Smiling brightly as she leaned into Lynn once more, possessively petting and clinging to her as she turned to her sister. "Ah, we're keeping her then Vyeer?  How fun, I haven't had a pet since Father started taking them for boring training practice.  Having one again is so neat." She spoke trying to stand with Lynn in her arms, hugging the girl to her chest, her own soft modest chest pressed to Lynn's back while her own hands wandered the girl's new soft mountains of flesh. "Would you like that huh?  Do you wanna come with us?"  She asked with a sweet coaxing tone, as if urging a pet to do a trick, her intentions... probably innocent, but her actions maybe a little humiliating.  From a clan of dragons, normal humans weren't much different from pets or play things, and to Erith who loved to be spoiled and was naively warm to most creatures, she pegged Lynn as a pet from the moment Vyeer began to suggest her sticking around with them.
