((I figured this would be the best place for mages to be in Connlaoth...er...a mage and a priestess anyways. Ahem. Sorry it's so short. >_<))

Ah, the valley! At least it was alive and well, he knew that where he was heading there would be nothing but death and well...he might as well enjoy the lush green valley. However, he must tread VERY carefully. He heard bad things about this place, and no matter how much he wanted to spread the greatness of his magical technology and what not, he still wasn't going to push it. He liked living, he knew a few people who had died before and came back and well..erm...Well to say the least it didn't sound pleasant. More so because he was in this strange realm, who knew what would happen to his immortal soul here. Some God might not be very kind to him and just...throw him away. Bleh.

Ending up in this part of the planet was...probably a bad thing.

Yeah...

Not that the planet was bad, it was perfect! No real ice boxes, no plumbing, and a strong love of magic or technology. He just had to show people how to bring it together! Only recently did he start to find his feet so to speak, merging clockwork and steampunk technology with some magical items and enchantments.

Sitting himself down on a rock near a small clear river he decided that this would be the perfect spot to stop. No one seemed to be about, and as well, he wanted to get clean. It had been a few days of travelling, trying to get through this country as fast as possible, fearing death and what not from the strange civilization. Sighing to himself he pulled off his thick leather boots, just made for travelling. A hand brushed the silver locks from his oddly clear blue eyes, everything contrasting with the soft ashen grey of his skin. A Drow, of all the races to get stuck behind enemy lines...He didn't use magic, and he kept his use of magical items down as well. Dipping his feet into the water he sighed happily, the cool brisk waters were very nice to have now.

"Ah, nothing better than soaking your feet after a nice long journey." The man's voice was calm, it was a bit youthful, but he had entered manhood a while ago, so his voice had gotten nice and deep. Much better than it had been before puberty. Blech. Humans had an easy puberty...Elven lasted a while longer. Bah.

"I should have picked a better entrance. If only I could teleport over extremely long distance...That be so much better..

Well, he decided to soak his feet a while longer. He had many hours before the sun went down so this would work out accordingly. He slowly lowered himself down onto the edge of the river, his legs now slipping inside and his pants getting somewhat drenched now. He didn't care though, it would dry after all.

Ah.

He could feel his worries just float and drift down the river. This was a perfect place to stop, he was glad he had decided to. Crystal blue eyes looked upward to the cloud dotted sky. The sky was almost as blue as his eyes he noted, if there was one thing he liked, it was looking at his eyes in a mirror. Thankfully it wasn't going to rain, valleys always seemed to have a pleasant rain of some sort...but rain right now would have been bad. So he was just going to enjoy the cool weather and the cold, brisk water that his feet were soaking in right now.
