((OOC: Oh, no, I didn't let them know that I was a 28-year-old dog-guy on the internet. It just... fits in with my basic personality. Not that I act like a 28-year-old dog-guy IRL... really... gah, it makes sense in my head. Oh, wait, no it doesn't.))

The un-dog kept his gaze fixed on the ceiling as he stood, which gave him a rather incongruous appearance of heaven-seeking metaphysical angst, or possibly the look of one who had just spotted some peeling paint and didn't approve of it.

"Thankyou," he said, pulling away from the other naked man as soon as he was standing. "I've noticed that you're naked. I'm not particularly interested in learning more." Squinting his eyes shut so that he wouldn't have to see the horror, he thrust an armful of cakes at his rather indecent saviour. "You saved my life. Here, have some sugary snacks."

With his eyes still shut, he turned around and started walking back toward where he hoped the entrance was. It wouldn't be worth opening his eyes again. The naked man would probably decide to run back and forth in front of him, just in the interest of pointless trauma.

"My thanks for the kind offer," he said, "but I think I'll go home now. I've had enough socialising for one night and my brother has probably wedged himself in the chimney by now."

OOC: It's okay, I get it. You're the most likely person in your year to do this sort of stuff online. My msn is mailto:mdu_ntr@hotmail.com">mdu_ntr@hotmail.com if you're interested.

'Is it truly buggin you that much?' Darkness sighed. he might have to wear some pants after all. Why did they make pants so uncomfortable? Wearing a skirt at least gave some freedom. He yanked the coat off another party goer and threw it at the man in front of him, 'here, wear this. Unless you want Dave following you home, I'de better come with.'

To emphasise the point, Dave gave a toothy grin. In fact, the grin was all tooth as he had no skin or muscle to cover it.

Anonymous

The un-dog caught the coat in midair and pulled it around himself as best he could. It didn't quite do up at the front - it was made for someone much thinner than him - so he held it together with his hands. It was good to be slightly covered, at least.

"Thankyou," he said.

Glancing at the skeleton and back at the naked noble, he weighed up the options: he could be turned into a hideous sin against the gods by a bizarrely sociable act of necromancy, or he could risk molestation by the nudist and keep his flesh on. After a moment, he decided on the second option. Nobody had molested him in his life to date, and he was almost twenty-nine; he didn't expect them to start now.

"If it will not inconvenience you," he said, "I would be very grateful if you were to accompany me back to my house. That... er... skeleton... disturbs me." He paused. "Please make him stop looking at me like that."

'As you wish. Dave, I saw a lady with a nice bone structure. I'm sure you'll like her.'

Dave beamed even larger at the dog-shifter and went over to find the lady. 'I'll catch up when I have her,' he called. For some reason Darkness had the feeling that he would be attacked mid-walk by two emotional skeletons.

'At least he wont botther us for a while,' he looked over the man fully. He was sort of 'dumpy' looking. He probably would not last long on his own at night. The man seemed really uncomfortable about Darkness being naked, 'is this really bothering you? What could you possibly see?' He laughed out loud, causing severeal people to turn, 'I haven't had this much trouble with it since school.'

He put his arm around the other man's and half-dragged him to the door, 'you might have trouble seeing me outside in the dark. Would it be better for you if I wore a coat?'

How he hated clothes. This man had damned better appreciate it.

OOC: don't worry, Darkness doesn't swing that way usually.

Anonymous

The un-dog went along with his saviour without speaking. It was probably better that he not say anything. After all, he didn't want to draw more attention to himself; after all, he was walking mostly-naked out into the night with another, more thoroughly naked man. Conclusions would be drawn. He wanted to keep the number of drawn conclusions to a minimum.

"Not being able to see you doesn't make me uncomfortable," he murmured once they had crossed the threshold. It did, really, but he didn't want to let on. Why was this happening to him, anyway? "My house is this way. Thankyou for protecting me." That made him sound like a distressed damsel that had been rescued by a dashing knight, but that was close enough to his current situation for it not to matter. "Now, that skeleton. Er. I don't mean to pry, but... what is it, exactly?"

He realised that he was still rather awkwardly holding onto the food he'd filched from the pantry, and took advantage of the coat's deep pockets to free his hands for whatever he needed them for. He didn't think he was really in danger, but one never knew.

((OOC: I have no fear of Darkness! Anyway, even if he did swing that way, Rory has a way of magically changing people's orientation to "anythingaslongasit'snotRory-sexual.))

Darkness followed the man and laughed heartily, 'it's no problem. He is a liche, an undead skeleton or whatever else you want to call him.'

Darkness was a little iritated by the man's use og the word "it". "It" indicated that the man thought Dave less of a person.

The door to the main room slipped open just a sliver, and a pair of eyes peered inside.

"Is this the place, little lady...?" asked a smooth caramel voice.

"Yesum! Thanks Mr. Dragon man!" chirped a second childish one. The door creaked slightly as it opened the rest of the way, and into the main room came two creatures. One was a beautiful green scaled Extraho Liberi; a dragon-centaur.His dragon half was covered in brilliant green glassy scales, while his human half was lean and athletic looking. His green snake-like eyes drifted about the room, taking in the havoc of the "party". There seemed to be a lot of dark creatures here...

"Are you sure this is where you'd like me to take you, m'lady?" he asked, turning to look at the small girl perched on his back.

"Yeah!" Mystery smiled brightly, her vampire fangs gleaming. Her hands dropped from Lazarus' hair, which she had tied back in a perky feminine pony tail, with a few random braids at the side of his face. "Just let me down! It's a party, right? I wanna preform! I havn't got to since I left the circus!" Mystery was a tiny little girl, with grey skin and smooth black hair. She wore a tiny scrap of a dress, heavy pink shoes and long black leggings, a pair of pink lace gloves, and an odd half-mask over her face.

Lazarus nodded, lowering himself on his front legs so Mystery could climb down. The tiny girl struggled with her heavy bag, about to pull out some flamming batons to juggle, when she caught sight of something interesting. "Oooo, a puppy!" and by puppy, she ment huge white wolf. Instantly she was before the creature, dropping to her knees before it with a wide girlish smile. "Hello puppy! Wow... you're so pretty, can I pet you?"

Meanwhile, Lazarus was just turning to leave. He had only come to escort the girl, but then he noted the parties host; a beautiful black and silver dragon. He couldn't help but stare; his people worished dragons after all, believing themselves to be the distant children of dragons... but he had never before seen one in his life. Unaware of what he was doing, he began to wonder over to the dragon, slowly reaching out his human hand...

((OOC: I was gunna do more description but I gotta run! Class DX Please look in the links in my signature to see pics of Mystery and Lazarus so ya know what they look like :3 also, this is like... Outside the real plot, right? Cuz... yeah, this makes no sense for my charas if it's "real" but since its in this section... I imagine it's just for fun xDDD))

As Darkness was walking the dog-shifter home, Dave was looking around the room for a woman with a good bone structure. Having found only the dark woman with the black wings, he went over to the far more friendly looking girl in the performance costume.

'Hello there girly. Isn't it past your bed-time or have you just woken up?' he asked, winking at her in his strange way. 'Oooo! Dragon-man. Haven't I seen you somewhere before? My memory seems a bit fuzzy about you.'

Anonymous

Mystery looked up at the skeleton with an expression of wonder, her lips curved into a wide smile, her small razor-pointed teeth perfectly white. "Silly skeleton, vampires don't have bed times!" she said, seemingly not the least bit unnerved. Turning from the wolf for a moment she stood up on one leg, spread her arms at her side and bent at the knee, her head tipped down; a circus bow. "Nice to meet you, what's your name?" she said politely.

Lazarus paused, seemingly coming to his senses and drawing back his hand, the faintest bit of blush darkening his face. He wished suddenly he could forget like what a little child he was behaving like as a tight smile crossed his face. Turning his head, mindful of his huge horns, he looked to Dave. His eyes narrowed a bit, "I know what you mean. I do feel as if I've seen you before... but can not remember... curious feeling," he said, raising a slender ashen blond eyebrow.

Anonymous

'I'm Dave: Minor *cough* Lord of the Undead, Lieche of the Ages,' he gave her a closer look, 'I've seen a lot of vampires... even Aswang, Nosseratu, Rat Princes and all those other offshoots but you don't look like any of them.' He moved a boney finger towards her mask, itching to take it off. To the half-dragon he didn't even give a second glance, "i'll ask Darkness about you when he gets back. He might remember something.'

Anonymous

"I... see. That's an impressive title," Mystery said with a small sheepish smile, not quite sure how to respond. She watched those thin skeletal fingers reach for her mask for a moment or two, before elegantly bending herself backwards. Her body curved into an  arch, her feet and palms flat against the ground, before she slowly lifted her feet and stood just on her hands. Then, she pushed herself off of them, and landed back on her feet, a little ways away. The over all effect of her little trick came off as a slow motion flip.

"Ah-ah-ah," she said, waggling her finger at Dave with a shy, playfyul smile. "What horrible manners! You can't try and take something off a lady without asking," she said, absently straightening her mask, making sure it was snug on her face.

Lazarus, meanwhile, was paying about as much attention to Dave as Dave was to him. Darkness also seemed like a name he should remember, but did not at the given moment. His attention had drifted back to the dragon, his eyes slightly glazed as his own tail drew close to his own body, sheepish. He was starring again, but he couldn't really help it. His people almost considered dragons as gods, after all.

Parties.  Good god, he loved parties.  Guaranteed chance of getting laid, getting totally drunk, and sometimes even both.  It was funny how he couldn't drain the life out of a partner when he was too drunk to see straight.  It worked, however it worked, but the hangovers after were such a pain.

Thalius decided to forget the whole shifting thing, since there were so many non-humans in here already.  So, with his wings folded around his shoulders like a cape, he stepped in.  And right there, something caught his attention.  The walking, talking skeleton.  That was new.  And dragons, dragons, everywhere.  The flicker of a flame at his fingertips, quickly put out.  This was a party, not a bloodbath.

His attention was abruptly pulled to the girl doing a slow backflip.  Children...not his favorite thing in the world.  Meh.  Athletic little thing, wasn't she?

((I hope this thread is still going.))

hikaru.dream

Hikaru had turned pale the moment she had stepped into the room and was still pale. This was a rare thing for her; she usually always had a smile on her face. She was glad, very glad that Taiga was here with her.
She didn't see why Etona and Cloud hadn't come, they were better at this sort of thing. It seemed to have been a small joke between the two of them, sending in Hikaru and Taiga.

Dragons, she could take. She found them quite beautiful.
Vampires, she could think it was a costume party. Anyway, she had met quite a few of them and so far she was fine. Spirits, half dogs or whatever, ok.

What really unnerved her was the white thing walking around making clicking sounds. How did a skeleton manage to move? Wait, doesn't it fall apart? I could've sworn it talked, where would the voice come from?
Shock slowly turned into curiosity, but even so she had no intention to approach it. Or him or her or which she couldn't tell.

Her attention was quickly taken by a small girl (maybe even smaller than herself?) who was, well, she didn't know what to call that, would it be called a sllloww blackflip? It was cool anyway.

Taiga, on the other hand, wasn't too surprised at the members of the party. He might have been if he had not been so annoyed by being sent to the party. Cloud knew he hated parties and made him come on purpose.

"So what's it like?" A female voice said. He ignored it. Hikaru mumbled something about a lot of different types of people.
The voice seemed to have come from what seemed to be an earphone which both of them had.

"Well," continued a deep male voice. "I'm sure you're having the best time of your lives! Enjoy!"
"Shineh." Taiga muttered, and guessing it from his annoyed expression, it wasn't a very nice thing to say.

((Me too.))

Mystery smiled excitedly as she noticed the three new people, who all seemed to be paying attenuation to her. Delighted with this, she bent over backwards, placing her palms flat on the floor and then lifting her feet, effectively ending up in a perfect hand-stand. She walked forward on her hands with impressive ease, her body arched just slightly so she could keep balance, as she waved one of her hanging feet at the new people near the door.

"Hullo new people!" she said in a bright, friendly voice. She smiled widely, her vampire teeth plainly obvious. "Welcome to the party!"

"Mystery, do be careful," came Lazarus' unsure, almost parental voice. The tips of his pointed ears twitched back just slightly as his eyes skimmed over the winged creature, his snake-like pupils sharpening. He could sense bloodlust in the creature... Which, wasn't always a bad thing, considering Mystery herself was a vampire, but she was a sweet innocent little girl... Lazarus doubted very much that any of those descriptions could be applied to the man who had sparks at his fingers.

Lazarus folded his arms crispy across his chest, shifting his claws uncomforatbly on the floor. The child was to naive... he couldn't leave her alone here, but he wasn't all to comfortable with huge gatherings.

"But Lazzy-" Mystery protested in a whine, "I'm just trying to show off!"

"I know... just," his eyes settled carefully on those of the man with his wings folded back like a cape, "You do not know these people... they could be dangerous. Just be careful."

"Yeah... yeah..." the small girl mumbled, "Hey, you guys wanna see me do any tricks?"

((OOC: I dunno about other people but I'm still active here :O ))

Caprice was trying to enjoy this gathering in the same way she enjoyed the gatherings of her own people.  She had already drunk too much wine, and she was naked.  Sadly there was no song and dance and orgy, but drunk and naked was not half bad.

The drunk goat-woman weaved her way through the crowd, often bumping into total strangers and never stopping to apologize.  Caprice stopped her mindless meandering when she caught sight of a very tall, very horned man.  She was so awestruck that she spilled some of the wine in glass and nearly dropped it.

"Sir," she said in a slurred voice.  "You remind me of brother, but taller.  And..." she paused to try to suppress laughter.  "Do you know what they say about long horns?"

((OOC: Pardon my thread necromancy, parties are too tempting to resist!))

Dave saw the satyr and grinned. Everrybody knew satyrs put out and this one was already half-drunk. Without the Image of Darkness here to spoil his fun, he would definately start enjoying the party.

'Hey! Dragon, how about putting some music on!' he shouted.

The skeleton heard what the satyr said about horns and gave an ecstatic, toothy grin. He went back to the dragon-man and the satyr in a casual manner, scooping up three glasses of red bubbly as he went. He slipped up behind the satyr and brushed a bone finger down her back. Such a beautiful spine she had.

'Dragon-man, have you figured out where we've met yet. Oh, and you didn't tell me your name.' His eye sockets were pointed directly at the half-dragon but his mind was on the girl.

Anonymous

Caprice was quite unaware of her surroundings--aside from the tall, horned dragon man--so feeling something or someone trace a line down her bare back was especially surprising.  At first she gasped and a little more wine sloshed out of her glass, but that soon turned into a spasm of laughter (hey, it tickled!).  For a moment, Caprice lost control of herself, and her glass finally slipped from her hand and crashed to the floor.

She turned around to see who or what had reached out and touched her, her hoofs crunching the broken glass as she moved.  Caprice was a bit shocked to see a skeletal being standing behind her, but it certainly explained why she did not immediately recognized that the thing that had touched her was just a hand.  She reached out and grabbed one of the glasses he held.

"Thank you, I'd say you owe me that."  She smiled coyly.

Anonymous

"I- I am not yet sure," he said to Dave, his composure a little weakened. His serpentine eyes flicked between the skeleton and the wobbly satyr, worry and curiosity in his expression. He had never seen another human hybrid creature before, especially not one like her. He noticed the poor girl was quite uneasy on her feet and gingerly reached out, placing his human hand on her shoulder in hope of steadying her.

"You're brother, you say?" he attempted a small friendly smile, his long powerful tail swaying and curling at the tip; his own version of being fidgety. "I... no, I'm afraid I don't know what they say." From the skeleton's grin he guessed that he too knew what people said about those with big horns, but Lazarus himself was clueless. Then, speaking to both the skeleton and the goat-woman he said, "My name is Lazarus."

Huddling nervously inside the coat, the un-dog looked around, expecting to be attacked at any moment by the marauding undead. A liche? He hadn't expected to end up dealing with the denizens of the underworld. He'd only wanted food. Now he was wearing somebody else's clothes, which smelt of the other man's body, he had been eyed - or socketed, perhaps - by a liche, and he was still starving hungry.

"...was he being serious when he referred to... ah... skeletonising me, do you think?" he inquired, shuffling along quickly and struggling to keep up with the considerably-thinner noble. "My apologies for my somewhat anxious reaction. I was... affronted. I didn't mean to be."

Hunching slightly, he glanced back toward the house, where the lights were on and the noise was starting afresh. Oh, but it was so cold out here, and it was so warm back in there. He wanted to go back. If the liche meant him no harm, then he would go back; he hadn't even stolen enough supper to feed his brother yet. With a soft whine of indecision, he ran his blue-grey tongue over his lower lip and said, "Do you think they will let me back in later, once I am clothed?"

Darkness found the man rather amusing, if not feminine. They were probably in the same realm in that regard. He was neither male nor female, only considering himself male because he preferred females. It would be hard to explain in a lot of places if he went around saying he was female AND enjoyed the company of them. Still, the man was quite... appealing in his mannerisms.

'Yes, he did mean it and it's him you should be appologising to. I wouldn't recommend that,' said Darkness. If they shifter went up and appologised, that would just be asking for death. 'Tell me, are you completely male?'

He studied the man further. Such a strange, cowardly creature, he couldn't help but let out a chuckle of amusement. 'Yes, I am sure they will let you back in. Nobody else saw you stealing except us. I'll wait for you outside while you dress if you need to.'
