Yaksha smiled happily at the man before them, seeming not even to notice the mention of the word 'mortals'. "We are out hoping to find something. I can assure you now, I'm quite skilled in my own ways. Anyone trying to rob US would find themselves quite unhappy quite quickly." His smile seemed to turn predatory, almost taunting. "You're welcome to test me if you like. Or you can simply go on your way and leave me and my friend to do as we wanted to." He turned to Fara, and gave a noncommital shrug. "Shall we get back on the journey, dear? A lot of ground to cover, and not a lot of time left in the day."
Yaksha looked around calmly, and then gave the horse an absentminded pat. "Hop on, Fara. We'll make wonderful time if there aren't any more stops." He seemed to tip a hat only he could see at Kael, and then tapped the horse's flank with his heels. It let out a lazy snort, before it began to trot forward, the muscles beneath its body rippling irresistably. Yaksha had a hand holding the hair of the mane gently, and the other tucked in at his chest. He let out a loud whoop of adventurous joy, and the two began to ride towards their goal.
