He wasn't really all that worried about being sold.  Nor did he really care about the speed with which he, and the rest of his master's slaves had been sold.  He was just a slave, his owner's financial problems made not a bit of difference to him.  As long as he was petted and fussed over, and fed and kept clean, Cali honestly did not care what happened.  Another master was just fine.  It wasn't the first time he'd been sold, and he was willing to bet it wouldn't be the last time either.

They'd all been shown off a few minutes earlier, himself and the rest of the slaves this particular auctioneer had to sell today.  None of the other slaves were as pretty as him.  He fluffed his hair with one hand, smirking to himself.  He was pretty, he was obedient, and he was the only one they hadn't stuffed in the cage.  Sure, he was tied, but he'd heard his former master arguing with the auctioneer, and was fairly certain a few extra coins had convinced the man to just use a single chain and cuff to secure him.  His left ankle bore the metal cuff, and if it left marks, he was going to be pissed.  Though currently his pant leg was padding the metal, keeping it away from his pale skin.  Those pants, and a soft pair of slippers, both a pale blue color that complimented his eyes, were all Cali had been wearing that morning when his master took them all down to the market.  Not that the elf minded going shirtless, it just showed off more of his pale, perfect skin.

Though he really hoped they'd hurry up and sell him.  He was getting bored out here.

He had watched the auctioneer show off the slaves. His face had curled in disgust, it really was something horrible, selling people.

He had looked away frequently from it, not having the stomach to watch all those people, chains, now really.. That wasn't how humans should be treated.

Callen walked, watching the slaves rattle their cages, the corners of his lips curled downward, his rose eyes flicking from one cage to the next. One hand raised to his blonde spikes.

His eyes settled on one of the slaves, the usual chain drawn from his ankle. He was the only one who wasn't in a cage. The blonde didn't bother wondering why.
It was a slave... that was evident... but he was... beautiful.

Callen's feet came to a halt. He stood in the midst of the sales and cages. Looking at that one slave. He wasted no more time, walking quickly over to him.
He stopped beside the slave, looking down at him. His eyes flicking over his body.

"A-are you... a slave?" he asked, this one, was far too pretty and clean, to Callen he couldn't anything less than a noble.

Absently, Callen dropped a hand and felt his purse, no, he didn't have enough to buy any of the slaves. He hardly had any. Barely enough for a roof for tonight. He wanted this slave to be freed. It didn't seem right...
He couldn't figure out why though.

Pushing the silken black hair out of his face, Ashley gave a sigh and crossed his arms across his chest, watching, curious. Nothing new in weeks, at least, nothing pretty enough to be claimed by him. Though it was a slave auction, Ashley didn't have slaves, he had servants whom he paid to work for him, and paid to be silent, and pets. He only had one pet, Dai, and he was currently looking for something like that.

Pursing his lips, he wandered about, he'd seen the pretty elf a little earlier, been interested. Ashley pushed his hair back again and went to the back, his waist length hair pulled into a loose braid, his crystalline blue eyes calm and gentle, a charming black suit, white gloves. Ashley was androgynous facially, his body was tall, lean, shoulders broad.

Then he'd spotted the boy, the little elf, and another child. Ashley felt an eyebrow drift up his forehead, the side of his lips tweak upwards. What's this? His keen hearing picked up the boys words and Ashley licked his lips and moved forward, placing a long fingered gloved hand on the boys shoulder. " Yes, he's a slave, and you will be too if you hang around here." Ashleys voice was a seductive purr, his hand was warm.

"Slavers are unforgiving people." Blue eyes flicked towards the elf and Ashley offered a kind smile. " You, Boy, where's your slaver? I've come to buy you." His hand remained on the younger boys shoulder, squeezing slightly, a silent warning not to make too much of a fuss.

"A-are you... a slave?"

Cali glanced over in the direction of the voice, and just took a leisurely moment to look over the speaker.  He grinned in amusement, tilting his head to one side, so his tattoo was just a little more noticeable.  The elf doubted this teen was a buyer, but any opportunity to show himself off was not to be wasted.  The kid was cute.  Maybe he was scouting out the selection for a buyer?  He scooted a bit closer to the boy, not even noticing the noise of the chain, though he irritably pulled at the cuff, not liking the way it felt against his bare ankle, and was about to start talking, when the arrival of another man caught the elf's attention.

Well, that shot down the idea of the boy being part of some rich family.   He pointed over at the auctioneer, who was yelling about the virtues of the slaves here.  "Over there, sir."  There was a definite purr to Cali's voice.  He liked the looks of this guy.  Forget his old master, the man hadn't been half as attractive as this fellow.  Though he did notice the way he had a grip on the boy's shoulder, he wasn't entirely sure what the man intended to do.

Callen watched as the slave scooted closer to him. His hands shifted from his pockets, as he watched the elf open his mouth to speak.
Then a hand landed on his shoulder, Callen twitched involuntarily, his eyes flicking to the side, to acknowledge this new man.  He blinked, shivering at the warmth that seemed to radiate from his hand and through Callen's entire body. He squeezed his eyes closed and bit his lip, his mind screaming at him to move away, but his body didn't seem to want to respond.

Then the man spoke, and Callen's eyes flicked open again... his voice was even soothing...
The teenager looked at the man beside him, and sucked in a breath. Had he ever seen a man quite like that?
Thoughts invaded Callen's mind, his thief instincts telling him to run...
But he couldn't. He just stood there, trembling under the man's intense grip.

"D-don't... h-hang around here" He bit his lower lip again as the hand on his shoulder tightened.
'Right, thats right! Don't hang around, Leave!'

He still couldn't bring himself to move, he looked down at his feet, encased in their leather boots. his black trousers hung over his lean frame almost more limply than normal. His dark jacket quivered over his body.
He shook his head, he was acting like some sort of crazed girl. It sickened him, he wanted to get out..
But at the same time he didn't.

His deep pink eyes flicked to the direction of the slave handler as the elf pointed to him. Callen cleared his throat, and tried a second time to move, but he was still rooted beneath that hand.
