Physical Description
A sleek, short-haired calico cat with a right blue eye and a left green eye.
In human form, she's a slim young woman with pale skin, the same bi-colored eyes, and long white hair with patches of black and brown. It falls down to mid-back, but she usually ties it back into a messy braid.

Magic/Abilities
Shapeshifting! She comes from a line of shapeshifters, though her family line can only shift into one other form. In her case, her form turned out to be that of a cat. She is naturally gifted when it comes to magic, though, and has the potential to be quite powerful. She learns quickly and easily.
Relationships
Her family is dead (parents and older brother). They were accomplished mages, and though only had a minor title, had acquired a significant amount of wealth through a mix of luck and lucrative business decisions.
Currently adopted by a small peasant family, the beloved pet of a 9-year-old girl. They give her food and shelter and cuddles, and she keeps their barn rat free. |: It was gross at first, but she's gotten used to it.
History
Her family was robbed and murdered in their sleep four years ago. |: Lyric only survived because she had gotten up to sneak a snack, and she escaped by transforming into a cat. Terrified, she has maintained the form ever since, rarely taking human form. She's afraid she'll be next if it comes out that she's still alive--but she's also determined to bring the killers to justice, whose faces she plainly remembers.
She also knows they were hired by another noble house, though she doesn't know who.
And that is why it's unsafe for her to reveal herself, and why she doesn't feel comfortable asking for help. Not until she has the answers she needs.
