@Heretic King –––––––
The sun was high in the sky, it had to be around noon by now. The sun shone down on all of the land, Serendipity was as it always was; alive and active. If one were to look through its history there would not be very many instances of strafe or war, the most notable event would be the one regarding Fell; everyone knew the tale, the curse. Many stayed away from the land, fearful of this curse. This was something that was inevitable, who wanted to become plagued by such a disastrous disease? People feared this disease, they hated it. This fear was transferred onto those with the curse as well; this was the life Xavier has been force to live for eighteen years. Having been thrown from his home town, he was now a wanderer. Fear, hate, dismay. These were all emotions that followed his appearance.
"Tch..." Xavier sighed, rubbing his eyes. The sun shone down, breaching the canopy of the forest in which he lay. Raising his arm, he would open his fingers, looking up into the canopy. Sitting up the man would twist his back, the cracking of bones would ensue.
Crack. Looking down, he would examine the ground before hopping down. Continuing his examination he would turn a full three hundred and sixty degrees; if there was any sort of life around this would become annoying. Clear. Relaxing himself a bit he would begin his slow walk into town. He felt today would be an interesting day, perhaps he would hear a few good rumors; something that could keep him occupied. Who knew? The walk to town would take him, at most, an hour. That was what he believed; he was not entirely sure, it was new territory for him. Never having traveled to this particular part of Serendipity, he figured it would be refreshing.
Walking through the forest it seemed everything was fine, until one took a fine look at the vegetation; the trees, ferns, and grass were all showing signs of malnutrition. Looking inside these bushes one would see the corpses of smaller animals, all rotting. This death, decay, it was his curse. He was born with such a disposition, and it was a bitch. As he walked something would become apparent, though this would require some sort of training in the arts of magic and deduction, a person could sense the energy that was being emitted from his body; death. Chaos. It was all leaving his body like an aroma escaping a bottle; this would be a long hike.
An hour had passed, and the man was now at the edge of town. "Where to go now..." He sighed, thinking over all the possible situations that could ensue, especially with his disposition. "Well..." He sighed, scratching the back of his head, he would begin his hike into town; as he approached the first building he would put some effort into stopping his latent abilities. It seemed the energy that was once pouring out of his body was now leaking out, though very slowly; there was very little signs that there was any, in fact, he was quite skilled at masking this. As he looked around the town there were a few things that he took particular notice of. Firstly, the shutters on each building were closed. Secondly, it was oddly quiet. What was going on?
It was as he approached the town square that he would realize why the town was so deserted. The entire populous was surrounding the clocktower, a body hanging from the edge. "Pretty." He chuckled at the sight. They deserved to die, all of them. Eh, that would only confirm their beliefs. He wouldn't do it now. It was not worth it.
Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a female rise from the shadows; his eyebrow rose, and he turned toward the female.
Who was she? He thought to himself, though it only took him a moment to realize. Smirking he would turn begin to walk towards the female, in a direct corse to intercept her path. After a few moments he would stand in front of the female, smirk still covering his face.
"Why don't you sign your art? It is... nice." He chuckled, looking over the female. He seemed to want an answer. "Who are you?"
