· Physical Description · Iona and Inzhu are fraternal twins, though there isn't much similarities between them to indicate they're related
at all. Iona is a fair skinned, bright red haired woman with sharp blue eyes. She says she takes after their mother, though neither can really attest to that since she died giving birth to them. It's more just something she claims because Inzhu
most certainly takes after their father. Inzhu is considerably taller than his pale skinned sister, with a natural tan and cool green eyes. His own hair is dark black with a hint of red when bright light hits it. That's the only thing that they really share.
Where Iona is short, and seemingly soft in appearance with womanly curves, Inzhu is tall, lithe, and finely muscled. Even his movements are almost animalistic. Iona prefers to dress in brighter colors, button up blouses and skirts, waist corsets, though she abhors floral patterning of any nature. Her brother generally wears darker colors, though that is also in keeping with the sort of jobs he likes to take, in which some manner of stealth is necessary.
· Personality · Iona likes to think she's a charming lady - and she can be. Smooth and sweet, she smiles easily but she isn't quick to fool. With deft, small hands, there isn't much that goes unnoticed by her and she runs the Iron Shadow like a dictator. What she says, goes, and if you don't like it, you can get the fuck out. Iona isn't out to make friends, at work, and she doesn't care for people who aren't useful to her. Outside of work, she can be a little more relaxed and playful. Preferring to mess around for fun - which can lead to trouble - and she has a loose affiliation with the law. It's only bad if you get caught. Iona occasionally drinks, but her real weakness is opium. While she would never say she's an addict, it's certainly something she enjoys frequently.
Inzhu is a bit more wilder than his sister and easier to provoke to violence. He likes fighting and showing off a bit of blade skill. Thinks it's all in good fun until someone upstages him. Then he's got to find a way to
get rid of them, though they don't usually see that happening until it's dark, and quiet, and it's far too late to do anything about it. Murder is a game to him and he's yet to get caught doing anything he shouldn't. He works for his sister, making supply runs for the Iron Shadow and keeping the peace of the place. A solid 'don't shit where you eat' policy, he will try very hard not to stir up trouble at the place and Iona is quick to put him in his place if he starts up anything. Inzhu occasionally dabbles with opium with his sister, but he much prefers messing about with her when she's on it. More fun that way.
· Magic / Abilities · Iona is what one might call a
classically trained thief. She can pick locks, break into places she shouldn't be, talk her way out of situations that might otherwise get her in trouble, and bribes people frequently to get them to look the other way. She's quick with a dagger and what she lacks in physical strength, she makes up for in speed. People usually underestimate Iona to their peril. She's managed the Iron Shadow for awhile and its done well. She has a couple of trinkets on her that make it difficult to enchant or otherwise cast magic on her, but they could be overcome with really competent casters. Her place is likewise warded against scrying - but again, anyone with superior talent could surpass it.
Inzhu's talents are a bit more straight forward. He's quick, he's quiet, and he's a good fighter. Competent with a plethora of blades, bows, and tools, he's stylized himself a fighter / thief but if asked will say he's just his sister's 'laborer'.
· Relationships · Iona and Inzhu - They might have a bit of a tumultuous relationship, but there's real loyalty there. Since their mother died and their father was a bit of an ass, they've relied heavily upon one another.
· History · · Additional Notes · The twins collectively manage a bar / legel 'light' drug den. There is likely more illicit activities taking place in 'the back' or basement, what have you, and Iona likely traffics in heavier drugs that would definitely get her in all manner of trouble. But the money is worth it. :3
