Korbane blinked at him doe-fully for a moment, seeing the change in his pupils, and smiled inwardly. Now was as good a time as any, the poison had most definitely begun to take effect, and she only had about an hour until he was completely unconscious, and she could be done with her job. So sue me for wanting to show the kid a good time before he dies.
"Then follow me," she called lightly, taking his hand, and leading him up to a private room she liked to call her home. It was simply furnished, with a large dresser against the wall on the left, a wash basin and ewer of water against the right, and a large bed against the back wall.
She slipped in, tugging Monnayage behind her, before slipping back and leaving him in the middle of the room. She peered out the door, head swaying left and right as she checked for any disturbances, but seeing none, and hearing nothing from the other rooms lining the hallways, she could only imagine that the other Peaches either had very quiet clients, or weren't in their rooms.
Perfect. As always, she praised herself, before glaring at the cat still perched on the boy's shoulder. Now if I could get rid of that thing. Ah.. I know. The draw! She beamed broadly at the swishing tail, and slunk back around to face Monnayage. Gently, she placed both hands on his chest, and leaned in close enough for their lips to barely touch.
"We need to do away with you pet, dear. I'd feel funny with a cat watching what I'm about to do to you."
