Physical Description
Zahir is an attractive man, and he knows it. Smooth, light brown skin and mahogany hair highlight the vibrant blue of his eyes, and his features are finely and carefully sculpted to give him an almost regal appearance.

His physical form also bears two large, upright horns that sprout from just behind his temples, as well as long claws capping each fingertip, which are typically painted a deep shade of azure or crimson.

He tends to favor extravagant clothes and jewelry, normally in outfit that bares his bares his chest in true Essyrni fashion- because he knows he looks good in it, so why not flaunt it?

Personality
Being imprisoned in a piece of antique jewelry for decades or centuries at a time can leave one understandably cranky. But surprisingly, Zahir doesn't show it often; instead he prefers to spend his time in his physical form living it up as much as possible. To that end, he tends to be rather amiable to just about everyone- not to mention charming, even seductive when it suits him.

After all, why not experience all the pleasures of the flesh for the limited time he has it?

The consequence of this almost absurdly positive disposition is that, when first awoken or just before a contract is fulfilled, Zahir has a tendency to be surly...or downright malevolent, depending on how long he's spent locked away.

Magic/Abilities
Like many of his kind, Zahir is a powerful creature capable of manipulating reality itself. However, his power comes with a few...stipulations.

In order to keep his kind contained, many of them were hunted down and placed under nearly unbreakable binding spells. Zahir's revolves around the fact that in order to have any semblance of "freedom" he must be entered into some sort of contract with a "master" (the person in possession of his amulet).

His master will dictate the terms of the contract and, once they are fulfilled, Zahir is locked away again. One contract per person, no exceptions- but, a contract can extend far beyond just three wishes...

Relationships
His previous masters, though many are dead. Actually...probably all of them are dead, he's not really good at keeping track.

History
Zahir doesn't have many memories before he was sealed into his amulet. He suspects that may have something to do with the binding spell, but it's also entirely possible that it's just been so long the memories of any sort of free life have all but faded away.

He has passed from master to master for the last 3,000 years, and each one is very much like the next, or the last.
