Vaelin cuts a distinctive figure with his tall, lean build and a perfectly groomed black beard. His attire is a blend of luxurious fabrics and practicality, with a signature dark trench coat adorned with various concealed pockets for weaponry. A scar across one eye only adds to his mysterious aura. His eyes are red, signaling that something is not quite right.

Vaelin is a master of charm and wit, with a silver tongue that can convince anyone to see things his way. He is pragmatic and ruthlessly opportunistic, willing to do business with anyone, regardless of their moral alignment. Beneath his suave exterior, he's a cold and calculating individual, always weighing the pros and cons to maximize his profits.
Motivation
Vaelin's primary motivation is personal gain and revenge against the corrupt noble who ruined his life. He believes that by amassing wealth and power, he can ultimately bring down his nemesis and control the entire Connlaothian weapons trade himself. He's got several ties in Panzhong as well.

History
Vaelin's rise to power in the weapons trade was born out of desperation. He was once a skilled blacksmith, but his business was destroyed by a corrupt noble who sought to control the weapons market. This injustice fueled Vaelin's thirst for revenge and profit, leading him to become a weapons dealer who operates in the shadows...kindof. Vaelin's mansion is in the center of Reajh, so it's not exactly a secret what he does. He does leave for trips sometimes.
