__________________IN-DEPTH STUFFPhysical DescriptionGenevieve represents the very image of a fair warrior maiden, a woman of pure body and heart, clad in a shiny suit of plate armor. When rarely spotted outside of her fitted armor, Gen is noted to be distinctly feminine; attractive, and almost beautiful. Albeit well-endowed, there is no mistaking the knight's physique is in peak physical shape, athletic, and toned from years of relentless training.
Her jet-black hair is cut in a practical and short bob. A tender smile upon her lips often warms her face and invites trust, and although her eyes have the hue of steel grey, they glimmer with compassion. The knight's fair skin is spotless, free of blemishes or scars.
PersonalitySoft-spoken and compassionate, if fraught with idealistic naivety, Gen is slow to condemn those guilty of practicing harmless magic and quick to defend the needy. Her very presence sparks hope in the hearts of the common people and brings light to darkness. The knight of the White Lily is a holy warrior who prefers to resolve disputes without needless bloodshed, opting for diplomacy over aggression.
When forced to fight she always defends others and herself from evil, her sword guided by mercy and chivalry rather than zeal. Prayers and faith in her god temper the occasional need for violence. Honorable to a fault, modest, and humble, she definitely fits the romanticized image of a knight in shining armor.
Magic/Abilities Gifted with Adharaism, Gen is constantly surrounded by an anti-magic, anti-psyonic field of thirteen feet. This field negates any magical and psionic abilities. Magic cast from outside the field is canceled out upon touching it, and enchanted objects cease to work. In other words, an enchanted, flaming sword just becomes a sword. All creatures with magic or psionics are affected, but creatures that need magic to survive will not die; they may feel ill at worst, but they simply won't be able to use their magic. The effects only last within the Adhara's sphere of influence. Once an enchanted object is removed from that sphere, it will work again.
Raised at a monastery and trained since early childhood, she is familiar with prayers and religious texts, and is also great at singing religious hymns. As a knight, she has been taught the way of the sword, becoming an adept fighter unhindered by the weight of her plate armor. She is fully literate, knows how to patch wounds, rides horses, and can give her weapons and armor the care and maintenance they need while in the field.
RelationshipsHistoryA war orphan, she was smiled upon by Ansgar and taken to the monastery of St. Adhara in early childhood following the discovery of her Adharaism. Given the name Genevieve and groomed into a future knight of the White Lily, Gen has lived a content, monastic life full of prayers and service to the church.
Once exposed to combat training, she became stronger and more agile with each passing year. Her days were filled with grueling exercises, the nights with study in the library. Finally, once a fully-fledged holy knight, she embarked on a pilgrimage to pay respects to sacred sites across the land.
