Different days and nights could mean that he was someone, well, different. Today he was Charles De Claire, the merchant of death. A grisly title simply meaning that he would buy and sell weapons.

He had three wagons carrying crates of weapons, each weapon covered in cloth to protect against the dust of sand as well as bumps, scrapes and scratches. He prided himself as a professional and wanted to present any prospective customer with pristine wares. Though not much in comparison with well established caravans, it was a respectable start.

He had two more wagons, one for supplies to sustain them during the trip and one for a more luxurious personal quarters. Eight bodyguards would soon arrive, perhaps one by one or perhaps in groups, if they knew each other. Two for each wagon carrying either weapons or supplies, they however had enough room to sleep in designated wagon.

Charles, while confident brawler, was no fighter, while well trained assassin, it mattered not if the opponent had seen him and bandits or other groups who would target a caravan would spot him long before they'd attack. The bodyguards where a necessity.
