The Connlaothian Civil war has been tearing apart the country for over a decade, and with new alliances being made and support for the Grand Duke waning, it seems the war is grinding into a bloodied stale mate. With Duke Harmond's new alliance with Orchy, and his marriage to the duke of orchy's daughter; the Grand Duke has met with his advisors and has decided perhaps it was time to consider negotiations towards peace.
He has reached out to Duke Harmond and his men, as well to the Queen of Serendipity, where he hopes a mutual location would host the country's 'Peace Talks'. The Queen has agreed,... now he simply waits for the response of his enemy- and hopes that the intelligence he has been gathering against Duke Harmond is true.... and that he can get the country back into some semblance of control.
But even if agreements are met... it seems the war might go from an active one, to a cold war stand off.
However, the Grand Duke still has a few ideas left up his sleeves... and the mages in the country are far from being safe.

Who is all interested in plotting some things for this new chapter? Great houses will rise and fall, tensions will continue to build as the aftermath of the war still remains a plight upon the country side...

@Rhindeer - Working on coordinating with the Queen and Grand Duke for this- Serenians are gonna also be like WTF at this event!
@Zero - because of Lily's powers of Duke Harmond's 'insanity'- it definitely played a key role in Duke Harmond's side being less 'blood thirsty' and more 'aspiring' to peace- so without her, this idea of 'Peace Talks' in Serendipity would never have happened! (She's to blame!)
@Draconian To show he means well with the Peace Talks- the Grand Duke is actually going to MARRY a mage, who is the mother to the famous baby that was born in the church named 'Hope'. She'll likely accompany to help keep FACE
