"Caden I am a grown woman. I do not need my sword to kill, in more ways then one I have gained my name and reputation. Do not fear for me, love. Yes," her hands came up over his on the blade. "I do want you to take care of her. She is as important to me as the man who guards her, if not a little less so." Her gaze was warm as all the love within her heart shone out.
"Oh Caden!" Tiraris laughed. "The more you delay me the longer it will take me to come back. The sooner I leave, the sooner I return. Quit trying to distract me," she said, her tone playful. She swooped in quickly, brushing her lips against his before grabbing her cloak and leaving him.
Outside, she pulled her cloak on quickly. 'Should have thought this through a little more. A lone woman in just a shift and a cloak is not the most brilliant idea.' Tiraris hurried her way back to the rooms she had been staying in before Caden. While all her armor was with him, her nicer outfits and rucksack were both here. She dressed in a simple green dress, well as simple as a former noblewoman's dress could be.
Gathering her things, she paid for the room and left. 'No matter what happens, I am done here.' For a while she just walked the streets aimlessly, looking for a quiet place to just sit and think. She allowed her face and hair to be seen. 'How differently I am treated when they do not fear me,' she thought as men moved out of their way to catch her attention. She pleased to realize she was not interested. 'I have something better waiting for me at home.'
A familiar mewl stopped her in her tracks though. "Caydence! Where have you been?" she asked the circling feline. The cat jumped up onto her shoulder and rubbed against her face. "I missed you too, you big fuzzball. I need some help again. Do you know where I can think in peace, alone?"
Tiraris watched in mild surprise as the cat jumped down and began walking off. 'It is not like it could hurt,' she shrugged following. Up and down alleys they went until they came to the outskirts of town. They were at the forest's edge. 'Now this is more my style!'
"Thank you Caydence!" she called to the missing cat as she climbed a tree. 'Now Caden, what I am going to do with you?'
