The strong bond of friendship is not always a balanced equation; friendship is not always about giving and taking in equal shares. Instead, friendship is grounded in feeling that you know exactly who will be there for you when you need something, no matter what or when.

Arts: Duelist by Azariel

     · Physical Description ·
Kassandra is a strong, sturdily built woman of, what she would say, is an average height. Her entire life has been devoted to training with swords, and she takes such a thing quite seriously. With practically cut blonde hair and hazel eyes, she isn't the prettiest thing you're likely to find, but she passes for cute. That's what her brothers call her, anyway.

Kassandra dresses practically, in clothes she can fight in and not cook herself alive in. Bracers, shin guards, and a shoulder guard are her preferred armor. She relies more on speed and quick, decisive strikes then brute strength and force. The rest is padded cloth and leather armor that will, at best, cushion a blunt blow or stop an arrow from going completely through her.

There is a runic, dark brown tattoo that dominates her right shoulder and arm. It's a family mark and enchantment that is meant to help keep her safe. Granted to her because of her duty, and honor to her family, it continues to work so long as Kassandar is ever true to her word and maintains said honor and duty.

     · Personality ·
Kassandra grew up in a large, personable family and near plenty of nobles. Her family was full of rough brothers, doting sisters, a loving mother, and a surly, but fair, father. Everyone knew what they wanted to be and Kassandra was no different. From the time she was small, she wanted to be able to pick up a sword and be able to fight, and defend others, with it. This meant her brothers were quick to help, and tease, along the way. She is, and was loved, growing up - which instilled a very strong sense of loyalty, duty, and family. When Kassandra says she'll do something, she damn well means it.

She earned her family's mark when she was accepted as a noble guard, proving her skill. It's a blessing of sort. A good luck charm and their way of releasing her 'from the nest'. Letting her forge her own path and ever reminding her to be true to who she was growing up.

She's not quick to smile, but she still finds some humor in life. Kassandra appreciates harmless jokes, especially when they're not done correctly, and she has a genuine need to be of use to her friend. To be helpful in some way. Any way, really. Kassandra isn't particularly curious about the world, but driven by her loyalty and sense of friendship, she'd pretty much follow Valerain to the ends of the realm without complaint

     · Magic / Abilities ·
Kassandra has formal training as a duelist - though she is officially titled a knight. She's quick, efficient, but still young. Experience will be her teacher from here on out. She's already got the basics down.

There is a family rune tattooed onto her arm. So long as Kassanda is dutiful, loyal, honest, and true, it will provide a minor deflection protection against ranged attacks. This is in the form of extreme luck. Arrows can go wide, magic bolts happen to miss. Granting her time to close combat. It's not perfect, and it doesn't work every time, but it's still something.

     · Relationships ·
⛋ Valerain Torverath - She grew up along side nobility, and she's never impressed by rank. Even so, she's always been fond of him which blossomed into a deep loyalty.
