The Seven Deadly Sins anime
The
Seven Deadly Sins are a group of seven minor deities who each embody a namesake sin. They have few worshippers aside from fringe cults, but it is not their followers who they derive their strength from; rather, they draw their power from those individuals who succumb to their sins. Their names are:

These gods are cursed to walk the Earth, continuously indulging in their sin without ever feeling fully satisfied. During their time on Earth, they often develop complex personalities that extend beyond the scope of their sin; however, with that said, their namesake sin will remain a constant part of their personality, though they may learn to process their sin differently depending on how they have developed. A god who is one of the Seven Deadly Sins may die in rare cases, but their sin will live on and reincarnate into some new form, with their memories, identity, and personality lost and the knowledge of nothing but their own sin.
