“What? Chad grumbled blearily as he came back to his senses. Tonight was certainly not a good night for him.

“Stop passing out on me! Seraphina cried, shaking his arm. “The others have gone already.

“Alright, alright, he said, with just a trace of annoyance.

He scrunched his eyes against the light. What had been soothing candlelight the other night became a harsh glare, scratching his eyeballs. Taking a breath, he realised just how hungry he was. After that moonlit chase earlier on, he’d been drained both physically and mentally. Seraphina’s blood, though vampiric, wouldn’t be strong enough to sustain him, especially if he kept on making these little mind trips out of his body.

Just then, the grand heavy door opened, digging into his side, causing him to lose his balance again. Jyo’s head popped around the oaken door, a look of brief impatience flashing across her pretty face.

“Wouldn’t be impartial to a drop of that blood wine, Chad joked in response to Jyo as he used her arm to lever himself up. Seraphina on the hand, watched with anxious eyes as she fretted about in the corner. Honestly that woman was bloody useless.

He didn’t a mirror to tell himself how pale he looked, but as he followed Jyo and the other…thing down the halls, he couldn’t help but catch his reflection in every single mirror he went past, if not to check his reflection, but to smooth out his hair, or to flick it from his eyes.

“Stop grinning at yourself, Seraphina murmured, batting his fringe playfully. They stepped around a gigantic ornamental vase that was filled to the brim with flowers. Seraphina sneezed once or twice, but they carried on down the carpeted halls without so much as any other disturbance.

Still deep within his thoughts, as they continued walking, him and Seraphina following a few metres behind the impassive Jyo, the other thing now behind them, Chad became aware of a muttering coming from that thing. He paused, cocking his head to one side as his eyes narrowed. “Son of a…

Whirling around, he stared at the thing that was…bickering with itself in hushed animated tones. So engrossed was it, that Chad was able to stare at it for about ten seconds before it became aware of him.

“What the hell are you? He demanded. His eyes roamed over the being’s body, taking in the wings, the cuts…and the fresh blood. A darker look passed into his eyes, as he struggled to contain his blood lust. “I wonder if you taste any good?

Jyotika spun around her eyes narrowing. She heard the words pass from Chad's mouth and she let out a low growl and stepped forward. She held her wrist out to Chad impatiently.

"We don't bite our friends if they don't offer. Take some and I have a ton of wine back in my room. Tide yourself over." She smiled to herself a little. He might taste what she truly is... wouldn't that be interesting.

((her blood is pretty powerful considering she herself is ancient and she has some small magicky powery. He could take a little and be sustained for quite sometime probably makes him a little high too lol))

“What the hell are you?
I blinked, muttering to Mefistofel to be quiet and looked up at this vampire I’d just met and didn’t plan on getting to know. The dye in his hair and the female on his arm marked him as the type who’d probably given up his mortality for no other reason than to plunge himself into various forms of hedonism for all eternity- partying, sex, what have you- without needing to worry about life being short enough to waste on something meaningful. Not like I was in any position to criticize after spending several centuries on Earth looking for my… lover? Partner? Boyfriend? No, soul mate. What was he doing getting involved in this?

“What do I look like? I’m a fallen angel. You know, the kind that gets chucked into Hell for rebelling against an unfair law?â€? I couldn’t keep the edge of bitterness out of my voice. Alright, so I wasn’t mad at him, that would be ridiculous considering I’d known him for maybe fifteen minutes. But it wasn’t my fault that my true love just happened to be another man, was it? I’d been taught to do what I knew was right, not what I felt was right, but how wrong was following your heart?

Lucy’s feathers, Cherno! Suck it up!Mefistofel snapped before addressing the vampire boy, “I hate when he gets all emotional on me.

You’re one to talk, Mefie. You never stop bitching.

Our voices were distinguishable from eachother by tone (Mefistofel spoke in a childish whine, and I could never seem to keep my own voice from becoming a sarcastic drawl) but we still looked like just one crazy winged man chastising himself.

“I wonder if you taste any good?

I caught his eyes sweeping all of my wounds, saw his hunger for my blood and shrugged it off. Mefistofel would have shit a brick if a vampire had looked at us like that while he was solely in control. Did we actually taste any good to vampires? I didn’t know. It wasn’t like I was one, and if I were then why would I be biting myself? I watched silently as the demon lady offered him some of her blood and nodded gratefully. I certainly didn’t need the fatigue that dragged at my limbs to get any worse- didn’t need anyone else feeding off my lifeblood- right now. But the other part of what she said made my ears twitch as if I thought I hadn’t heard her correctly. Don’t bite our friends if they don’t offer? She’d just randomly found me in a dungeon! Not like I was in any position to complain: I could certainly do with atleast any ally, if not a friend, at this point.
If only Azazel were here! I thought regretfully. I missed him mentally just as much as, maybe even more than I missed him physically. He’d just disappeared, one day we’d been a perfectly happy couple in Hell and then the next I’d been alone.

At his demand the being stopped muttering to it- himself. Chad stared at him suspiciously, hand on his hip in a defensive posture as he drew Seraphina closer to his body.

“Fallen angel type? Chad mulled the thought over, licking his lips. Well, well, well. This creature must be even more deluded than he appeared, which must be quite an achievement. Everyone knew that Heaven…Valhalla…Paradise didn’t exist. All of the records of near death experiences he’d heard about had spoken of seeing nothing on the verge of death, and there was nothing, as far as he was concerned. No Afterlife, no Elysium. Just this life, here and now. And his life being unnaturally extended made it all the better.

The sudden exclamation from the deluded monstrosity brought him back to the present.

“Hey you listening to me? Seraphina whispered, prodding him repeatedly in the ribs. Where he’d been bruised earlier, and yes, it still hurt.

“Oww, Chad replied in quiet frustration, brushing her fingers aside. “I was thinking. Something some of us do from time to time, you know?

Chad rolled his eyes, and clicked his tongue. The focused look appeared on his face again as he got to what mattered most. How the thing tasted. He could feel himself going feral at the very thought of it. And then Jyotika just had to interrupt. Being a guest, he felt it honourable to withdraw.

“Jeez Jyo, Chad said a tad petulantly, backing away from what sounded like a rather vicious growl. “Thought you were a lot more fun than that.

“Who sounds like a petty boy now? Seraphina cooed into his ear quietly, so no one else could hear.

Chad was about to make a snappy retort when Jyo stuck out her hand. He flicked the hair out of his face and glanced at her arm quizzically, a small smile playing about his lips as he silently congratulated himself on how well he’d manipulated the situation.

“We don’t bite our friends if they don't offer…

His eyes flicked slyly from the demon’s face to Jyo’s.

“With pleasure, he said, stepping forward. He dropped towards Jyo in a half-bow, accepting her arm in a right hand flourish with a smooth grace acquired over time. With a split second pause, his fangs plunged into Jyo’s flesh, and he shuddered as the hot copper blood surged into his mouth, propelled by the relentless beat of her heart. He closed his eyes in ecstasy, collapsing to his knees in a very ungentlemanly manner as his grip on her arm tightened. But he was too far gone to care. Blood had never tasted so good. Vaguely, he was aware that he had to let go, but his body didn’t want to comply. Jyo would break his hold when he’d had enough, right? She’d be the one to decide when he’d had enough.

He felt arms pulling at him, was it Seraphina? Or Jyo? Telling him to stop. And suddenly the fount was no more. Chad blinked, in a daze, somehow a few metres away from before. A flowerpot was on the verge of toppling onto him- he swatted it away lazily, causing it to fall onto the carpet instead. Ooops. He suppressed a giggle, but not very well. Imagine what the rest of the gang would say if they saw him now, like this?!?

Seraphina was by his side in an instant. “You finished?!?! Come on already, we need to get to her room!

Her was a reference to Jyo, and said with slight bitterness.

“Jeez Jyo, what the hell are you? Chad said, dusting himself as he stood up slightly unsteadily. “Am I the only normal person in here?

Anonymous

Oh god the feeling! She smiled widely as he dropped before her. She looked down at him like a woman in ecstasy for a few moments. Then Seraphina pulled him away. She gave a look to the girl. That one may have to dissapear.

How Long had it been since she had a allowed someone to drink of her...to taste her. Her eyes shut slowly. Years maybe more. It had started as desperation to avoid an angel, even though fallen being bitten.

"I'm no one." She said quietly and led the rest of the way to her room. Her heart beat fast trying to catch up with the lack of blood left. It felt so interesting to be reminded she relied on that blood to stay coiled to this earth. If she took her life she would be in Hell. Because she was a demon, an angel previously lovely wrapped in a vampires body.

She felt a little dizzy and tingling. She really needed some of that blood wine. She glanced at Seraphina's neck for a few moments before turning and leading the way again. She let them all into the room and then went in last.

Watching vampires feed… it was damn close to, but not quite, pornographic. It would have been comical, had the memory of Mikael’s dungeons not been fresh in my mind. Damn it all, I just wanted to find Az and get back to Hell, and I didn’t give a shit about this war that was supposedly breaking out between werewolves and vampires. He seemed woozy, giggly afterwards. Was it because of the demonic power in her blood, I wondered, or just him making an ass of himself?

Am I the only normal person here?

Probably. Unless he counted his little vampire mistress, that was, but then I didn’t really know enough about her to say if she was normal. As I stepped through the door (bonus points for it not closing on me this time!) I turned to the room’s apparent owner.

“Would it be rude of me to ask what part of Hell you’re from so soon? I’m an Akeldama native myself. She was probably familiar with the city of Akeldama, or had atleast heard of it. Mefistofel nearly croaked from the shock of hearing me speak in a polite tone for the second time in one night. “Before I fell, I was from Sinai. I wouldn’t be surprised fi she had no clue where that was. Sinai was a relatively small town in Heaven, really nothing compared to Beulah or even New Jerusalem. But it had once been home.

Recovering slightly, Chad followed Jyo, still revelling in the afterglow of the feeding, not aware of the tension that had just passed between Seraphina and Jyo. The world swam and his knees buckled unsteadily as he emitted a sharp gasp. Seraphina was there by his side in an instant, supporting him.

“Next time, try something a little less potent, huh? She murmured, offering her wrist to Chad, but he batted it clumsily away. Seraphina followed his gaze with venom in her sweet eyes.

The demon had just said something, but the afterglow of the feeding was like the human equivalent of being intoxicated on alcohol, and so reason, sight and sound ebbed and flowed like the tide. He managed to catch the last part of the demon’s question, but it meant absolutely nothing to him. What he needed to do was to lie down for a while. Preferably with women.

He wondered what Jyo’s room was like. You could tell a lot about a woman from the way she kept her room. As if sensing his thoughts, Seraphina broke away from him and moved to walk with the demon. Fine, let her sulk. His lips twitched in a silent snigger as he congratulated himself again on how well he’d managed to play everything out. It literally took the blood of saints to reach highs as big as this. Maybe it was all that aspiring to heaven that did it. Oh yeah, the blood of artists was also mighty fine. All that passion and despair. Emotions which gave the blood the subtle flavours he’d come to be addicted to.

Jyo spoke no more, but he was content to follow her in silence as he strained to make out the conversation between Seraphina and the demon behind him. He didn’t want her to get too friendly with it…him. After all, she belonged to him, and like his blood, he was only willing to share so much.

...

“Hello, Seraphina said timidly, as she fell into step beside the demon. She had to admit, this person had roused her interest. He spoke in different voices, something Chad and Jyo seemed to have ignored or just not noticed. “My name is Seraphina, pleased to make your acquaintance.

She wanted to ask about how he’d ended up in the dungeons, and to get him to tell her his life story, but there was something he’d said earlier which had been nagging her, and probably every single vampire in existence.

“You spoke of a hell earlier, Seraphina said in muted tones. “Does that mean such a place exists?

((Soz this post is so late!))

((Sorry! So slow, life has been nuts around here.))

Jyotika looked at the Demon for a moment, her heart moving faster. She remembered nothing of names for places. she looked down slightly. All she knew was that He had kept close watch after her. After she fell. When she was in Heaven? She tried to block out the memories, the weight of what use to be wings and now was only past on her shoulders.

"I...it was a long time ago...I was in hell when it first began." she whispered quietly to the demon moving onto his other side where Seraphina was not. Then she moved forward again and they came into the main room. A sitting room/ Deep red and black velvets around the room. Giant stuffed chairs and heavy cushions. Bottles of bloodwine sat out on the desk with the stacks of papers she had taken last night.

"We can stay here for now. There's an extra bedroom in the back through that door." She pointed at a green door. She looked towards the vampire boy for a minute who still looked giddy on her blood.

Pleased to make your acquaintance? Well, that was a new one. “Hello then, Seraphina. You may very well be pleased to make my acquaintance, but that’s highly unlikely considering the circumstances and such formalities will not get you far with me. Certainly not half as far as honesty will. My name is Chernofel. The other voice is Mefistofel, but don’t trust a word he says to you- he’s a wuss, a liar and a failure.

Hey! Mefistofel protested, “I take offense at that!

Oh do you now? Should’ve thought of that before you got us into this mess. Anyway, I turned back to the vampire girl, “I could tell you that Hell exists, but it wouldn’t be nearly the same as showing you.

With that, I plunged a clawed finger deep into my chest as if trying to rip my own heart out. The sudden pain triggered a sharp cry. Wincing, I reached beneath my collarbone and behind the bones that shielded my heart, and when I withdrew my hand I was holding a small chunk of something black and charred that left smudges of soot on my bloodstained palm. I held it up to Seraphina’s face so she could get a closer look. The wound began to close over immediately, unlike all the others I bore. Normally Mefistofel and I would both have fussed over cleaning the blood off our bare chest, but we had already realized by now that it was hopeless. We were almost used to being covered in grime, and that had been the least of our problems during the weeks in the dungeons.

“Here, keep that. It’s charcoal. From the hellfire.

“Cherno, what are you doing?!â€? Mefistofel shrieked. “I thought we’d agreed not to do this anymore!â€?

“Whatever. You’re paranoid, Mefie. What did he think she was going to do, use it for some kind of crazy-ass voodoo shit?

At this moment, the demoness dropped in on my opposite side, leaving the vampire briefly alone up ahead.

“When Hell first began? it came as a shock. I had fallen a little later than that, when someone found out about Azazel and snitched on me, but I had been in Hell for quite a long time nonetheless- long enough for my white wings to turn black, and longer still than that before he disappeared. “I am terribly sorry to have mentioned it, then. I’m afraid I took a reluctant stance opposite you in the war, but it doesn’t matter now. I fell shortly after anyway, when-

“-shut up, shut up, shut up! Cherno, you’ve already done enough damage- Mefistofel interrupted me, so I gave him a violent shove into the back of our shared mind.

“Don’t mind my other personality, I said in the same uncharacteristically polite tone I’d used with the demon before, “he’s just antisocial.

Anonymous

Hmm, this vampire woman sure liked her gothic black and reds. Conservative colours though they were, the room still echoed with splendour. Chad plopped himself onto one of the low plush chairs as the others filed in, making himself at home. He gazed at the fireplace, willing flames to spring up. That would’ve completed the look.

“Seraphina, he said in a singsong voice. Seraphina looked up, startled from whatever conversation she was currently having. He motioned and smiled coyly at her. “Will you come and talk to me please?

---

Seraphina held her breath as Chernofel and Mefistofel suddenly began to argue with each other. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea. Maybe Chad was right, maybe the being was insane. After all, when had Chad ever been wrong? She didn’t want to think about that for too long either. She swallowed, and hugged her arms nervously as the two voices bickered. Remembering that she was here, the demon turned back to her, Chernofel â€"was it?- in charge.

He then did something which made her “eeep; he stuck his arm in his own chest! Seraphina scrunched her eyes shut as the demon emitted a little cry of pain. How barbaric! When she opened her eyes again, the demon was holding something black and dirty up to her face. She wrinkled her nose suspiciously, and then jumped as out of the corner of her eye, the wound began to heal.

“I thought only vampires could do that, she mused.

She took the black thing as the other personality began to shriek, turning the charcoal over in her hands. Chad would know if they were lying or not.

Entering the room, she saw that Chad had already made himself comfortable- typical. Turning to the demon, she blurted out, “how come there are more than one of you in your body? when Chad called her.

Glancing at the demon ruefully, she moved away, but she had to admit there was a slight relief in that.

“Coming!

---

Ah, she was still his, Chad thought, as Seraphina graced him with her presence. He drank in her features as she bounced onto his lap. She’d forgiven him pretty quickly then.

“Here, look at this, Seraphina said quietly, plopping the charcoal into his lap.

He stared at it.

“Well? She demanded.

“Well what? He asked. “It’s just a crummy piece of rock.

“Oh, she said meekly and scooped it back up, but Chad noticed that she didn’t throw it away.

Clearing his throat, he peered past the green door. There was a bed in there that wouldn’t be out of place in a harem. He was definitely having that, but it seemed that by mentioning “spare Jyo didn’t plan on having any fun. Ah well. He looked at her and said anyway, “I claim the bed. But first, why have you brought us all up here when you could be much safer somewhere far away from Mikael?

Anonymous

Jyo looked at the demon with a small unhumorous smile.
"I fought no war. I fell in love with the wrong angel." she met his eyes to show the meaning of this then looked away and walked forward. Then turned for tow seconds. She looked at the ground. "I couldn't stop him." Then she turned around again and walked forward.

She looked over at Chad. "Safer?" She gave a small snicker as she looked at Seraphina and Chad. "I made him. If anyone isn't safe it's him. Trust me." She walked over to her desk all the same though. shuffling the papers around and popping another things of bloodwine then looked at the fallen angel she waved her finger to beckon him.

"Can you make sense of any of this?"

((When i use the dark red it'll be Hell, and i'll use the dark blue if I do heaven stuff. I forget if I did it before in this threado r not I think so but just ot mkae sure lol))

"Tika, you act like you have a right to stay on Earth, and you think I will just accept you when it crashes again?"

"You won't have much choice. You started a war and you think you're in a place of power when all you are is the clean up cr..." A hand shot out holding her against a wallpapered wall and holding her against it by her throat. A spiny dark blue demon that looked like he was made of spikes emerged into her peripheral. The man with short black hair and a long dark red suit in front of her just smiled. She realized his canines were slightly sharper than most people's in this form.

"Release her, she's useless."

I could see that Seraphina was grossed out. Shit, maybe life in Hell really had turned me into a savage monster. It couldn’t have been that big a deal- vampires did drink blood, right? Sure it that was not quite the same, but wasn’t it similar?

She looked surprised when the wound began to close. I looked at her and shrugged. “Depends on where you hurt me. As you can see, it doesn’t do me much good most of the time. But vampires aren’t the only nonhuman things out there, you know.

I turned to the demon. “You couldn’t stop him? it hurt to meet her eyes. I wondered whether she’d been violently raped or just seduced. “If it’s any consolation, I fell for loving the wrong person too… only not under quite the same circumstances, of course. He-

“-Chernofel, shut up! Mefistofel snapped.

“Hell no!

“I said, ‘shut up!’

“Or what? I challenged, shutting him up.

Moments later, we had entered her room and I was looking around, memorizing the locations of possible escape routes and hiding places. Just in case.

Seraphina’s next question made me groan. “Oh, damn it, I knew someone would ask that sooner or later! Hundreds of years ago we were two separate beings, but… well, suffice to say we pissed off the wrong person.

“That’s bullshit, Cherno. You pissed off the wrong person.

“I did not!

Our argument was ended prematurely by the sight of the demoness gesturing for me to come over. I did, and my mismatched eyes flicked in suspicion and surprise at her question.

“Here, let me see it. I might be able to, but no garauntees.

*** Begin flashback***

A young man stood on a doorstep, the tips of his black feathered wings trembling. His eyes were two different colours- one was grey and the other brown. The door swung open and the black silhouette of a figure was revealed. “Come in.

“It’s us, said the odd-eyed man.

“Chernofel and Mefistofel? Of course. You’re here about Azazel, are you not?

“Well… yes, Mr. Lightbringer, sir. And we’re here to ask you something.

“Please. Call me Lucy, or Lucifer if you must. No mister, no last names, and no sir. What would you ask of me?

“We need permission to leave Hell, the black-winged man said in a shaky voice.

“Whatever for? Lucifer inquired.

The other handed him a sketch of a brawny blue-skinned demon with grey eyes so pale they looked like they had no irises. “Rivervein of Leviath, he stated. “Disappeared the day before Azazel. He was known to be a pacifist. Rumour has it that he was kicked out by someone in a high place.

“People getting kicked out of my Hell? I don’t like this one bit.

The young man passed him another sketch, gave him another name, another date of disappearance, another possible reason. There were eight of them in all.

“You can go to Earth if you want. Track these people down, get to the bottom of this. I’ll be keeping an eye on everyone holding a position of power here.

“Thank you, sir, murmured the young man softly.

“It’s Lucifer, said the ruler of Hell as he led him out the door.

***End flashback***

Interesting, so Jyo made this Mikael guy. And it seemed he was trying to break away from her. Chad’s eyes flicked to Seraphina, lingering on the preoccupied look that graced her face. She would never leave him. That was something he was absolutely certain of. He’d made her.

Still standing in the doorway, he was aware that something was happening between Jyo and the demon, whom he’d practically disregarded since they’d met. But since Seraphina had been showing it…him…some interest, Chad eyed the demon suspiciously, sizing him up out of the corner of his eye. At this angle, everything appeared maroon through the curtain of his hair. As they were beings of the earth, both he and Seraphina didn’t experience the flashbacks which Jyo and the demon did. All Chad was aware of was that the air in the room had dropped a few degrees. Seraphina responded by shivering slightly.

“Jyo, mind if we light a fire? Chad called casually, feigning interest for Seraphina’s wellbeing. She’d notice this small act and be grateful to him for it…but not everything he did was to score points.

Moving into the bedroom, he leaned back and freefell onto the bed, spreading his arms wide so he landed with a whooshy poof noise. Eyes open, he stared at the ceiling, tracing the intricate patterns with a lazy finger.

“Nonexistent GOD I’m bored, Chad muttered after a few minutes of doing this.

The dull ache in his body told him that he was recovering from that mighty fall faster than usual. Chad scowled, memorising the faces of his attackers. He recalled that adrenaline fuelled tumble that would’ve killed any mortal, and then their lame apology of an excuse afterwards. ‘Sorry, we didn’t know what happened’ just didn’t cut it in his book.

---

Whilst Chad was lying down, no doubt recovering from the blood that the poison woman Jyo had fed him, Seraphina walked around the room, inspecting it. She picked up various items and turned them over, feeling their texture before setting them back down. Clicking her tongue with glee, she walked up to the window and peered out into the night. It was nice of Chad to notice that she’d been feeling cold. No matter how much of an arse he could be, she knew he cared about her deep down. Or hoped he did. She couldn’t remember what her life had been like as a human, for everything revolved around Chad and she knew that she’d never leave him.

Outside, the sounds of guests arriving drifted up to the floor of the mansion they were in. An owl hooted in the distance, and the flurry of wings was a comfortable backdrop against the stillness of the night. It was almost as if the wolf attack had never happened.

---

Sleepy. The intricate patterns on the ceiling swirled into different shapes, beckoning him in a constant motion…

Flickering shadows. Pain. Blood. And a very fragile mortal life. So many chains. There was a coldness too, seeping into his bones. Pleasure. Lots of it. But…the edges between pleasure and pain had long since blurred, leaving a bloody mess. This wasn’t meant to happen. The dare hadn’t meant to turn out like this, they were only supposed to break in and tag the wall with their gang mark. But it had gone so horribly wrong. The rival gang had run off laughing, and one by one each member of his gang had been assassinated until he was the only one left.

A fate worse than death held in store for him. So much he wanted to do with his life, but he’d rather die than become that…monster. A wince. That beautiful monster with her soulless eyes. But the pain had continued. A Pandora’s box. Broken toy. And then her eyes filled with tears as she realised she’d gone too far. She begged him to stay with the living, as his soul made ready to depart, having resigned and made peace.

“Please stay my angel, my beautiful boy.

So much effort to open that eye. Through a film of blood, it took so much to let her see the answer in his eyes, “no.

“I’ll fix you. I’ll teach you to forget who you are and you’ll scorn everything you once were, and will embrace me willingly. I’ll teach you to be a being of the senses. All these earthly delights will become yours. So much pleasure for you, how does that sound?

Blackness, and then he forgot and relearned how to be him.

---

Chad’s eyes flickered open. Startled that he was soaking in blood sweat, he sat up quickly. What the hell had just happened? Only a few minutes had passed, but it felt as time had become gloopy like syrup. Stupid, but that’s what it had seemed like. Shivering, Chad chewed his lip, worried. Had that been him there? It certainly looked like him. Shaking his head, the vision quickly faded away out of his memory, until all he could remember was a sense of unease.

What was happening to him? Was it Mikael?

“Seraphina? He called weakly. He called and she came, and suddenly he swept her into his arms, bestowing her with passionate kisses.

“Will you just let me hold you for a moment? He asked ever so nicely, so she complied, her confusion quickly replaced by contentment as she basked in his attention.

“The guests are arriving dear. We should go down soon, and my, you’re soaking in sweat! Seraphina gazed at him levelly, smoothing out the crinkles in her lilac evening gown. “That witch’s blood too much for you to handle?

Instead of making a snappy reply, he shrugged. “Nothing the great Chad can’t handle. Oh my, you’re right. My shirt is soaked. Guess I’ll have to take it off.

Seraphina narrowed her eyes, a smile playing about her lips. “Tsk. Forget it. See if there’s anything in this mansion of a mansion.

“Forget it yourself. I’m not wearing anything of Mikael’s.

Seraphina shook her head. She’d make sure that he would have something decent to wear.

Jyotika stood up from the desk and rubbed her temples. She was stiff from sitting in the same position over those papers. She stretched and cracked her neck. She lifted her head to the air for a moment and smelled Mikael. Her eyes narrowed quickly.

"You are my God and that's all I want is to praise you." Mikael was staring up at Jyotika with wide eyes of admiration. She stared down at him with a small laughter in her eyes.

"You do realize I would be a very fickle God." She spun a small knife in her hands. Her eyes combing over him accepting his praise happily.

"But..."his eyes looked panicked as he searched for some reason for her to keep him for eternity. "Don't you get lonely mistress? Hunting alone...no one to take care of you?" Her eyes narrowed for a moment. And he quickly corrected himself..."Not take care of you but be there for you to..." he dove into his mind desperately for the words. "Command." His eyes it up as hers did.

"I have never made myself a companion. It would most likely be better than a found one." A wide very human smile crossed his face. She beckoned him to her with a wave of her hand and he rose to sit on the bed next to her. The sheets puffing around him as he sat down. She slid her hands to his neck and pulled him closer biting into the already scarred places of his neck.

She shook her head as she thought of the memories. He had been so innocent. She rubbed her forehead. How quickly you lose that once you drink human blood.

OOC: Is Resalia planning on coming back?

OOC: Hmm, I'll send her a Myspace message...what happens if she doesn't? Maybe one of us will have to play her character for a bit... :S

Ok. The same goes for the "for the love of a vampire" thread too, since she was also in that one.

Right, well if she doesn't respond, we have two posts to work her out of this thread before it's her turn to post! =p
