Folded arms remained so as Erith started her music. The sweet notes fled from her mouth and soon began her mastery of the Lute. She had not seen her sister play such an instrument before, but she couldn't help but tap her foot to the melody. That was to say until her dragonic eyes read Erith like a book. She knew her sister better than most and when she was into something, the entire material plane would shift.
Enchantment rolled off her tongue and the sensation of pressure began to build. There was a low growl from the Miasma Dragoon as she shot her sister a dangerous look, a warning,
"Keep it down...Erith..." although her words would find a way like an arrow, it was the heavy atmosphere of the enchantment that would split it in half and her words coming out muffled and dull.
Vyeer could sense it all too much, her heightened senses making things unclear and muddy in her brain as the music began to cascade and ripple through the plane of existence. Vyeer had barked at Erith once more, but she was too into her mastery to just simply drop things. Even the poor blue elf girl, Aislynn knew very well something horrible was going on. The Disaster Dragoon known as Erith was coming in full turn, her bright colored manifestations slowly turned into sapphire heat and the energy poured off her like a venomous web.
It was not only Lynn who was falling for Erith's magic, but the others seemed to fall dead on the spot while listening to the music. Screams erupted when bodies just tumbled over or would be pulled as the Ether Veil would snap and crumble. Tendrils of hot energy whipped around everyone frantically like tentacles spewing forth from a mighty Kraken! The energy was intense and Vyeer could not maintain herself much longer.
As Erith was going through her transformation, Vyeer fell to her knee. There was a pulse inside, like something growing and awakening. She felt it wrap around her heart like an icy hand gripping her insides. She grunted loudly and began to sweat from her forehead. Flaming hot red hair began to churn and mix into a black silk and ash and death seemed to manifest around her.
The souls of the deceased were sucked into her mouth like a vacuum as her body began an eery glow of purple. Poison seemed to seep from her eyes and a dark haze would begin to spread from her hands as she slowly began to transform.
She had to help the people, but more importantly, she had to stop her sister! Moving with swiftness until black fire wings erupted from her back, the Miasma Dragoon taking on a new hybrid form as black scales burst through her skin. Her long clawed hands moved for Erith and the instrument, My Lady caught in the grasp and immediately shattered in her hand as she held it. Wood became ash and then with dark glowing eyes she stared at her sister, "Forgive me, Erith! But I had warned you of this!" Forming a tight fist, she thrust it into her sister's belly claiming her enchantment and devouring her magic in a single blow causing her to topple over in her hand.
Her unconscious body fell limp over her arm as she tossed her Sister like a rag doll towards Lynn. With a clawed armed reaching for the sky, she bellowed a ferocious dragon-like roar that was inhuman. In her hand manifested a dark glaive. As she stood there almost resonating with a dark energy pulse. Her blacked eyes saught the blue magic that had escaped from the Either Veil. She twisted and turned her glaive in her hand masterfully and sped forward as the tendrils of energy came forth. She flew into the midst of the dense energy and began to fight off the energy.
Every swing of her Glaive was like chopping off an arm off an octopus. It left a dark energy that was consumed for Vyeer to eat and absorb into her body. She knew the others would not have a favorable fate. As the Either Tendrils would snap and lash out at the citizens. Some would explode into dust, others would fall over dead, other would be consumed in the horrific disaster and then spat out only bones and flesh leaving their souls to the whims of the Other World.
Vyeer opened her mouth when she felt full and a burst of cataclysmic energy erupted from her mouth as black fire fought back a wave of massive energy. She roared like a dragon as the smoke billowed around her and she turned to see the devastation. The land had been purged and the veil of energy to keep the two dimensions separate had begun to repair. Her body turned to the others as the yells and shrieks manifested over the wave of energy that was slowly dying. Vyeer sought for her sister and took her by her unconscious hand and swung her over her shoulder.
When she heard Lynn another time, she turned back and wasn't sure what happened until she saw the massive chest threatening to decimate her clothing. That shirt was way too tight for breasts of that magnitude, even rivaling Vyeer's own. She growled and ran forward, her hand reaching out towards Lynn and grabbing her by the arm as they flew off a small ways away from the devastation.
Finding a small section in a forest north of the festival, Vyeer dropped both her sister and the blue elf on the ground. She turned and fought back her own energy that was seeping everywhere from her body. The poison that she was consumed in that made things horrifying to the mentality of those who sought her began to recede slowly. Vyeer has to concentrate. The bots of magic were fading from her body and the black scales were shifting once more until she could see more clearly. A naked torso was found as the black hellish hair turned vibrant with red flame once more giving way to the natural color.
Vyeer moved to her sister and dropped down to her knees,
"Damn it all...not again..." Like it was a normal everyday occurrence for this sort of thing to happen. Although she might have put too much power into her fist. Vyeer leaned over and slapped her sister in the face a few times to rouse the sleeping woman. Then her eyes motioned for Lynn and she stood, the thickness in the air was still heavy and those eyes beamed down at the down heavy chested Starstrider.
"And now...what to do with you..." @Korra
