Omg guys I actually finally got myself to do a drawing of my fav character, Alycia. She's the same one as my main picture (but visualspice drew that lovely one). Omg guys I drew another picture. This one isn't as good but I'll put it up anyway. Just fyi, though, my scanner lightened everything. Meaning the skin was a little tanner, the hair had light brown behind the lines, and you could see the arms a lot better. The lips also didn't look as strange (idk what happened to them over the scanner.

Her title is the Coyote (and for what it's worth, I actually looked at a coyote picture for her eyes). Anyway, yes, I know she's supposed to be tan, but I can't draw tan. So just imagine it. :P

I love the colors you've used in Zenia's hair. Interesting color choice for her eyes? Might I inquire what ya used? (I'm just curious! Plus my eyesight is kinda cruddy as I'm due for new glasses.)
I used two different shades of pink. :) Her eyes are lighter, but the picture darkens everything. I wanted to make her interesting looking, but still pretty... and motherly. Lol. And thanks you guys! Sorry spice for the derpish look on Miersck's face... :P

Oh nice. I like the way you color hair, ears and eyes in particular. It looks shiny...oooo. Her eyes are quite vibrant and really pop out too, which is neat.
I like the hairstyle. It's cute (and this is a compliment because I don't speak this word often! My sharkie genes are allergic! )! Seems to compliment the ears (in my humble opinion).
Since the scan/snapshot is a little blurry (and I also need new glasses >.>) , I can't see as well as I wish I could but what I can see is AWESOME!

I have unfortunately, it didn't turn out so well... I've not got a steady hand, I shake a lot... Nervous habit, and my drawings are embarrassing because of it...
Great job zozee! Totally dig the hair! That can be really tough to draw and colour. A word of advice though, try not to hide your character's hands. (: The only way to get practice with them is to draw them!(no matter how awful you think they'll turn out)
Brisinger, a steady hand comes with practice and confidence! I had a very unsteady hand when I started drawing, and it was even worse when I started working with a tablet.
It's not to do with confidence, my co-ordination is just poor. I can't catch a basketball successfully. My brain lags, I duck when I shouldn't, and misjudge everything. I can't play sports because of it, and no amount of practice will solve it until I stop growing and my brain can adjust to my size, cause it thinks I am shorter, and over compensates, meaning I think I can reach things that I can't, and thinking I will hit something that I won't.
That just seems like something time will solve, Singer. For all it's worth, I can't really catch any balls... though that's 'cause I'm afraid of them...
And Looshi, thanks! The hiding of the hands was actually partially because her dress was so big and I didn't know where I'd put them. :o But, in general, I do still hide hands so... yeah... I need to practice that part. :-[

and you were saying what was off on the hair, I think it's not that the part of the hair is off center, I think there's just a lot of shading in the part itself, so it looks as if the character bleached their hair and the roots are growing in :)
also, most people's hair would have the bangish areas be up more than how you have them down, so that might be throwing off the picture as a whole, but my hair looks like that sometimes and I glare at it, so it's not unrealistic <3

Oh Spicy the Almighty, I believe you may be correct. I tend to draw roots dark just 'cause that's the easiest way for me. XD It looked bad with them lighter. But that could definitely be the problem. >_> Also, what exactly do you mean by the bangs? Are you referring to where the part starts (because now that I think about it, maybe I should have a little more forehead) or the fact that the bangs just kinda fall in front of her face?
As for the shadows... well, I got lazy. >_>

normally, hair grows up from the roots before falling downwards. You just have it painted going directly down, rather than up then down (if that makes sense lol) so it just makes the hair appear more flat and unnatural. But I really like how you've done the hair. It's so cool so keep it up *_*

think of your body in shapes- your head is more or less a sphere, and your hair will grow in direction of said sphere, but like I said, sometimes my hair just wants to go and do weird things, but your hair will still grow in the direction out from it's growth point, and then once your hair gains more weight, it falls in lovely long locks about your face 8D
